Agreed that the restaurant serves the taste of tradition.Good ambience and location. Food is average. Recommended for friends families and kids too will have a good time with the setup within restaurant.
Good. Food was good but service was slightly slow. However the location, ambience were great. A village feel with goats, rabbits being grown there.
Authentic non veg restaurant on Bangalore Mysore expressway. Must try restaurant. Same taste since many years
Great food for non-veg lovers and fast service.
Loved the mutton ragi mudde (ragi ball) thali served here, the best part of this thali meal is the kheema gojju , mutton gravy and that tangy neeru saaru to compliment the mutton food , the meat literally melts in the mouth.
We ordered an additional Akki rotti which was spot on with the mutton chopsand the add-on basa fish tawa fry which was a bit salty, but was tawa cooked to perfection.
The hotel premise , the washrooms were kept clean and tidy
Hence would rate 4.5⭐ off 5⭐
Keep up the good work team 👍🏼
I tried the kheema dosa which was really good, the dosa was crisp and mutton kheema was well balance and spot on. We also tried the Vada was crisp and it has three different dips, two chutney and one sambar. Onion Uttapam, I had asked for additional crisp and what I got was okay. They are open from 7am till night. Ample parking space and lot of seating area. Clean restrooms too.
About 70km from Bangalore, Channapatna has lot to offer apart from their GI tagged toys!
We got stumped by the soft, fluffy Khali Dosa with a coconut infused Mutton korma for breakfast! Their mutton Kheema dose were pretty decent too. (Talk of a heavy breakfast eh?)
Worth a visit for non vegetarians plying on the Bangalore Mysore Highway!
We visited Vaishali in June 2023 for breakfast. We were on a bike ride and were looking for good food and parking and Vaishali is the best option at Mysore road. They have both veg and non veg options. We tried the paya soup, mutton kheema, akki roti and ragi roti. Also tried masala dosa, and kesari. All dishes were great and service was quick.
The cleanliness is okay. The washrooms are also well kept. There are a few rabbits and birds also as pets.
A very good non veg restaurant on Bangalore - Mysore highway. We had breakfast here and the food was amazing. We ate alli rotti with kheema and mutton kaal soup as well and tummy was super happy. We have to keep a note of the signals/hoardings for this restaurant since it’s in the service road after Channapatna and might get missed within a blink of eye. A must visit if you are non veg lover.

Food is good bit overpriced ambience is good with enough parking space
It is a good breakfast place, but you know weekends all the places are overcrowded. You might hate at that moment. Had tried the Egg Dosa, Mutton Soup, Normal Dosa, Idli Vada. All tasted good and yummy. If your heading to Mysuru and wanna drop by for breakfast, definitely try this. Enjoy.☺️
One of the best pit stops on Bengaluru Mysuru highway especially for typical non veg lovers.
Have to follow sign board and take service road after Channapatna to reach this restaurant.
Kheema dosa and mutton soup were really good. Other veg breakfast options also were good.
Ample parking space available.
Spacious , good service and hygienic food is an add on.
Overall the menu is bit over priced.

One of the highlights of my dining experience at Vaishali Restaurant was the dosas. They were simply outstanding - crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with delicious flavors. The chutneys and sambar that accompanied the dosas were a perfect complement, and I couldn't get enough of them. I also tried the vada, which was equally delicious and perfectly fried to a crispy golden brown.
Another highlight was the biryani. The fragrant aroma of the spices and the perfectly cooked rice, combined with the tender pieces of meat, made for a truly delightful dish. The flavors were balanced, and the portion size was generous. I also appreciated the variety of vegetarian options on the menu, which catered to different dietary preferences.

I give Vaishali Restaurant a 4.5-star rating, and I can't wait to return for another culinary adventure. Don't miss out on this gem of a restaurant - it's a must-visit
Great place to have breakfast. On the way to maddur after you cross Chanapatana. Better to take service road once you see the signages. Food is bit expensive however you get to taste traditional that is Nati style what we call in local.
I recommend leg soup and keema dosse they were truly lip smaking. Advice to visit after 9am for any briyani lover's as not all in the menu is ready at 7am or so.
The built up area is large to accommodate crowd where you never feel crowded. Very friendly staff and members. A good pit stop for breakfast.
