I tried Non - Veg buffet.
Starter's - Were tasty & spicy(chicken leg fry).
Main course - were mouthwatering.
End - Ice-cream were freezing chill & mouthwatering
Place - very hygiene, have parking, Air-conditioned
Staff's - well behaved

Starters in plenty, and there were some really good ones - mutton sheekh, crispy corn, paneer, fish, prawn, pineapple..all very very good, can be a bit spicy but we were asked if the spice level was alright and the same was maintained.
The buffet also had a good variety of dishes, making you want to try a little of everything.
The wish grill was a let down. We asked for sausages, and what we got was vegetables and 3 thin slices of sausage. Same with the shark meat and octupus.
Desserts were just ok. Ice cream, gulab jamun and hot jalebis were good. Rest of it was tiny pieces of pastry which wasn't too appealing.
If you're celebrating a birthday there, it can be an enjoyable experience. We had some highly energetic waiters, who inspite of their tiring running around serving sang so enthusiastically "Happy Birthday".
The staff behaviour is highly commendable. Some excellent training has been given to the staff, and they are very pleasant and courteous. They tend to made you smile with their eagerness and energy. Our waiter ran to us once we left and returned the tips we had left, saying that they have a no tip policy.

Excellent service from the staffs. A special mention for our waitor Nandan. Live grill was amazing. Main course was also very good but dessert was disappointing. They had a good variety of desserts but most of them tasted very average. If they could work on their dessert alone they'd be the best out here!
Bijay, chittaranjan and ganapathy these three guys really made us more comfortable and we enjoyed lot

Good ambience especially if you are with a big group, good food for those who can eat too much staff can be too busy on weekends,so they are really slow for service, heavy on the pocket but one time visit is a must!!!
This is the OG BBQ place for a reason!
Service was excellent as usual....but the flavour of the spread was not what it used to be.
However, once we pointed out what the problem was, they tweaked the dishes and served most of the starters again (including the complimentary mocktail)
And it was fine the second time around!!!

The restaurant was pleasant. Nothing too out of the ordinary. The fish and chicken were good, however, the prawns were not upto the mark. There were a lot of dessert varieties on offer and each of them were brilliant. In comparison with other bbq spots, this specific AB's in Velachery has more desserts and has less people at its premise. Well worth the visit.

First time in lifetime had a outing to barbecue restaurant with my family. They enjoyed the time and food. Food were tasty and good. All the available starters and deserts were good. They offer veg and non veg barbecue items, cake varieties, jilebi, gulab jamoon. They offer rabbit, quil and duck apart from chicken, mutton, prawn and fish. We spent more than 2hours and had food and fun. Gravies in Main courses taste differently. We prefer to have Chettinad items in the list.

I had been there for lunch. It took more than 15mins for them to arrange and get the starters. So that was a bit more than expected wait time. Apart from that the food quality and service was good.
The deserts too took some time to be refilled, we had to ask repeatedly on some of them but later was brought to the table.

First time to India and Chennai. This is where you need to eat. Great food BBQ. We also had the vegetarian BBQ as well as the meat. Excellent seasoning. Great service. You will really enjoy this place. Highly recommended.
Hi, We chose this place for a birthday treat and we visited here with prior reservation for lunch buffet on 14th Oct, 2023 as a group of 14.
Four of us took veg and rest of them took non veg. As we visited on weekend there were also some special dishes in the menu.
Crispy corn and other starters including barbeque were good. There were many options for deserts, salads, main course, live counters for veg, non veg and panipuri.
The service was really good. Every now and then, they were asking if everything was ok which was satisfying.
3 of us celebrated birthdays, so we got 2 cakes. The only prblm was the cake, it contains only whipped cream and no sponge cake. Other than that everything was good.
As we are students, instead of ₹891 on Saturdays We just paid ₹666 per person for both veg and non veg. If you are a student bring your student id (offer valid only from Monday - Saturday).

Good place, but the quality has degraded. Rush was there, menu hasn't changed. Mutton was not there in the starter may be due to cost cutting. sauce was missing. Place looked very dull and old even chairs have worn off, torn seating. Not worthy as earlier. The grill box on the table is now for name sake. Mostly, all food is cooked and overcooked or burnt, in fact. Place needs serious revist. For a low-cost buffet, it's ok but be careful.
The ambience is not that great. Narrow space. Difficult to walk when it's crowded. Service was too good. Everyone responding properly and making customisation to the starters as per the request. Food quality and taste is nice but the varieties of starters was not great. Normal set of starters. Superstar Honey chicken is not available in any branches. Please bring them back. Main course and desserts are decent. Compared to other buffet restaurants the items in live counter tasted good and fresh. Valet parking is available.
Awesome food hospitality is very good iam a regular goer to Absolute barbeque tnagar what i appreciate is that they make food according to our choice, I wanted less spicy so specially they made our starters with less spicy.....thank u guys....

This is my first visit AB's, TNagar. It was a get together with office colleague after 2 years. We reserved table for Dinner and we reached little and late.
The atmosphere was excellent, you can enjoy a lot
I would recommend this place for Birthday/Family Gathering/ Hangout with Friends. If you inform them in advance or while booking they will arrange things accordingly for your party.
On Food, quite lot of varieties for Non Veg. They are serving both Non Veg and Veg. In BBQ, they are keeping those Veg and Non Veg hot sticks separate. Nearly maintained atmosphere and table.
You can find Good varities of food / Chat / Desert. Also, they are serving Non Veg and Veg in different colored plates. Black Color Design plate for Non Veg and Green Color Design for Veg. Dedicated person wil be there for Ice Cream/ Sweet/ Chat. So you can the items fresh.
Regarding Parking, they have ample space for Two Wheeler but the have limited space for Four Wheeler. But they have wallet parking system so no worries about parking your car.
This is my most Favorite restaurant in T Nagar . Totally love their BBQ food which a wide variety of starters, main course , deserts and the free drinks.
If you have to visit Absolute BBQ you should always skip your breakfast and have a Brunch directly in the restaurant coz with just the starters you will be overloaded 🤪🤪🤪 Price is very reasonable and the taste is also amazing. I think per person it is around Rs 700 and for kids below 5 it’s free.
One good thing is since as a group we went with kids and for kids we asked to prepare without spice and they got specially for kids. Very kind and humble serving people. A very big spacious restaurant where you can have a team party too.
There is parking available too and they have few chaat items too . So many deserts and all were amazing. Love the quantity that makes you taste all different varieties.
And main thing is Restrooms we’re very neat and maintained very well with a scent.

Ambience: Very good quite neat and clean
Food: Main attraction here are the bbqs both veg and non-veg items are supper tasty and there are lots of varieties available. In main course too there are lots to opt for along with various items from live counter
Next thing that I loved the most is the “Jalebi” along with others items from desert section
Staffs: I found most of the staffs/service boys are from WB and each one of them are polite and humble

The Dinning hall was something big like 150 people at a time.

Main Course: Non Veg only Chicken biryani,mutton curry, fish curry, egg fried rice etc

Desserts: Gulab Jamon, Payasam, Cakes, Rasamalai, Jelly, Jelabi, Brownie, Icecream
Soups: Chicken soup, veg soup, rasam
Over All experience is okay but expected more here in dishes as well as taste. Quality and quantity is good.

I have visited this place many times. This is a awesome place to try if you like buffet lunch or dinner. Their starters are really good. Chicken Sikh kebab, chicken leg piece and grilled prawns was very tasty. Madras Mutton curry and chicken biriyani was average. They have couple of good dessert options. Never miss ice cream with gulab jamun, payesam. Kartik was our host. He is very cooperative and humble. Thank you AB's 😊
The ambience can be improved. The veg had quite an elaborate menu. Worth the price paid. Exotic meats are also available. Prompt and attentive service. The grill can be slow. Overall was a good experience. Only 3out of 5 dip sauces mentioned were available. Can be overlooked. Beetroot kabab was yum. The potato starter wasn't great. Main dishes were fine. A little too oily. The desert options were good. Bite sized cake pieces. Music could've been there. Office crowds can take away the charm if you wish to dine quietly.
