We went this place with family and friends. Ambience was good. Pleasant Live music. We had the hot and sour soup, Dimsums and Crispy corn and they were delicious. For main course we tried the Cantonese noodles, Schezwan noodles and chill basil vegetable gravy and they were Amazing. Our host was Karthik and he was extremely courteous. Overall, a very good experience. :) would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.!

First visit to Mainland China, had the buffet.
Ambience 5/10 (reason at the end) - Quite alright,(you do notice the wear that has happened over time), decor looks good too. I'd give the main area an 8/10.
The washrooms were in a poor condition for such a well known restaurant though, not sure how they could let it remain in the state that it is! Low points because of this, the main restaurant is pretty decent.
Food (7/10) - Starters - the soup was excellent, a definite must have! The dimsum was splendid too. The rest of the starters were good, crispy veg, prawns, potato sticks, a corn cutlet(?) were decent.
Main course - Quite nice from the non veg perspective, veg was just okay, didn't eat much.
Desserts - The mousse was good, although the top layer ran out quickly and should have been replenished. Ice creams were good. The best would be the plain cake, which was nice and buttery!
Service - The staff were good, but the service was quite slow. I'm not sure if it was just because they were preparing fresh, which could be the case since everything was hot. Won't dock any points for this.
Overall, 7/10! Bit expensive, but the food was fresh and very well made, good quality which is rare in most buffets.

I frequent the place regularly for afternoon meals along with my colleagues and it never fails to impress us.
The standard of service is top notch , my favourite is Ashwani pandey - a waiter from the restaurant who a always makes it a point to give the best service possible.
From suggesting complementary food, immaculate servings to ensuring quick servicing of the orders , he really makes customers feel special and valued. Kudos for his work ethics, it sets the restaurant apart in the neighborhood.
We have always been a fan of Mainland China since its inception. This time we went for their dinner set menu and the spread was quite good. Karthik, who catered to us was a friendly person and gave attention to all our orders. Only thing they can work on is the ambience of the restaurant which we feel was little dull and shabby.
It was the usual mid week crisis and I decided to go out for dinner. Wanting to do some Chinese, we were driving around Teynampet and decided to check out this place. I don't regret it one bit!
We felt welcome and were comfortably seated. Dinesh patiently explained the different spices and helped us order based on what would complement the main course.
The welcome drinks arrived right after followed by the flavourful food.
I'd give a 5 star only for the service. They kept waiting around to serve us. Dinesh also recommended some dessert but we were too full to try.

Being a big fan of their dim sum range,I needed no second invitation from my wife to visit their teynampet location for the buffet lunch.
The place is done up nicely with splashes of bright red ,the auspicious color for the chinese,The terracotta warriors were represented as well.
We did go for the buffet and the soup served was very tasty and the starters served were a tasty Fish,Chicken Sui Mai ,Seafood Hargow ,loved the dim sums as usual and filled up on them.
From the main course selection ,I tried the Egg Fried Rice,Mustard fish, a delicious Lamb Tofu dish,Prawns which were all good.
Didnt go for the desserts though as Iam trying to cut down my calories,
I did try the Mandarin Splash mocktail which was refreshing and tangy
My friends and i were here for a friends birthday get together. Rana ,suman and the other fabulous members of the team floored us with their amazing service. Everything was spot on . The food , the ambience , the tiniest attention to detail .
I would recommend all oriental food lovers to give this reaturant a try .

I had a wonderful dinner at Mainland China. We wnet for my birthday and there was a singer that night. My father in law requested her to sing happy birthday for me and she sang beautifully. The food has really improved from the last year and service as well! Their Thai Chicken dumplings and Basil Dimsums are worth a mention in specific.
The live music just makes the whole experience all the more better. Makes you want to just sit listen and relax! She is a wonderful singer!
Their buffet is too good. Although the variety in the main course is less but there is compromise done with the quality of the food. If you love chinese food, this is a must visit place.

This has been my family’s first choice when it comes Chinese dine out option ever since for more than 7 years now.. I guess probably!! I had dropped in yesterday (29/5) for a late lunch .. I thought some of their menu options wouldn’t be available or the service would be a lil lagging but literally nothing of that sorts, entire staff was very courteous and food was jus absolutely lip-smacking.. I really appreciate them for their outstanding service even at a delayed hour. No wonder they have sustained for so many years and still standing strong .. my good luck and best wishes !!
We 3 ppl ordered for Sweet corn chicken soup, Chic lollipop, Schezwan Chic noodles, Hakka Noodles & Peppered pan fried fish gravy all of them was truly amazing and had to take away the leftovers ( so imagine the quantity)
Drawback : Valet used to b there but couldn’t find it this time and parking was a slight let down as another customer had parked covering entire car park.

Awesome food. Great hospitality by Mr. DINESH (in the pic). Must try his recommendations. Some of the cuisines tried by us were crispy corn, peanut chicken in sichuan sauce and the complimentary coconut barfi.
We have been visiting this place once every month for last couple of years. The taste is good and staff very helpful. Kartik from their team was attentive and as a team they provide great hospitality. We would highly recommend everyone to visit this place

1. Smoked duck rolls
2. Tempura prawns
3. Pan fried chicken noodles in soya ginger sauce
The prawns were the perfect texture and the tempura batter very crispy without being oily. The duck was a heavy dish and the accompanying salad could do with some clean tasting dressing. The quantity of the noodles was large...good for medium appetite 3 persons. These noodles can be had easily without a side dish. We also ordered mocktails which were both refreshing.
Hands down the best Chinese restaurant in town 😊 The starters are too good and the desserts (chocolate roll & almond honey noodles) are a must try. Very polite staff and excellent service by Karthik..

A brilliant place I would recommend someone who wants to eat Chinese. The general tao's chicken is the best and their chicken Tai pai is really really good. They've got such courteous staff and Mr. Sujanu was really really helpful and we got the best hospitality which we never expected 😊

One of the best places in the city for Chinese (fine dining). I've been here multiple times and all the times the service from the staff and the food were consistently good.
Their dimsums are flavorful and yummy. Every dish even a simple hot and sour soup is made well. Their Hunan style chicken, chilli chicken and drums of heaven are so well made. Juicy, tender and well marinated. Even the prawns are full of flavor. Their Cantonese noodles and the chilli garlic noodles are also good. I do love their seafood gravies.
So this time I tried out the Lunch buffet we opted for the non veg option.
The range of dishes on the menu were less but it was filling we had starters served to our table and the best part it was all served hot and perfect.special mentions are the Veg wontons fish fry in starters crab Hunan curry,coriander shrimp dry cake and strawberry pastry stood out in the main Course and desert section.This buffet is worth every penny you pay.

Very good restaurant. Tried Veg hakka noodles and Singapore rice noodles. It was sumptuous for two. The service was a bit lack lustered. Nevertheless, they compensated by giving us a complementary dessert. The staff are very hospitable. Will visit again.

Visited last friday... Had dinner buffet.. Really this place is a treat for chinese lovers. Worth for the money. Chicken leg piece, dumplings, fish, fried rice, noodles, spring roll, mix veg starter, gobi in chilli sauce, crab and shrimp sauce everything tasted superb.. Limited items but each tasted different and good too..
Only negative is ice cream has 3 flavors but cooling is bad and it was completely melted.
I would highly recommend this place and looking forward to visit again.

Thai green curry was mildly spiced with good creamy texture and also lamb meat ball curry was perfect. One spicy prawn gravy was there which i completely loved. Another curry was egg deep fried along with gravy...
Mine was a complete non veg buffet so i have no idea about how vegetarian starters or curries tasted😂
Desserts were limited options but still everything tasted perfect.
Overall it is a wonderful experience at a budget friendly place.

A group of 8 hungry men, a restaurant closing in 30 mins and losing your way to the outlet. You’d think the group went hungry or gave up going to the outlet or made a hash of it after reaching late.
It was neither. The staff proactively called us to say they were closing and would be around if we weren’t too late.
End result was tasty food served with passion and a fantastic Friday night.
We ran through corn chilli pepper with kaffir lime - easily Mainland China Restaurant’s best starter dish, sui mai or dim sum and crispy lotus stem black pepper in about 10 mins. They were served hot.
Main course were vegetable fried rice, Japanese wheat noodles accompanied by lemongrass vegetable in cilantro sauce and vegetable dumplings in chilli soya sauce.
The taste of all the dishes is distinctive with the flavours hitting home with first bite.
Great staff, tasty food, upmarket but quiet location and efficient service made for a great Friday night.
To the service crew - a big thank you for the proactiveness and courteous service.

I have been eyeing the buffet here for a long time and chose a weekday dinner buffet. The restaurant has great ambience with good music.
The soups and starters were served on the table. We had Chicken Hakka soup which was amazing!
We had 5 starters in total (3 non veg and 2 veg) and each one of them tasted great! My mom didn't like the fish preparation (yue yang barbecue fish), but the service was amazing as they kept dropping in for feedback on the food and made a spicy fish as per our taste. This kind of service is rarely seen. Overall starters did justice.
Moving on to main course there is a rice and noodle in both veg and non veg. Apart from which there were 4 gravies for non veg and 4 for veg. Now the gravies covered Shrimps ( In sichuan chilli sauce), Crab Singapore chilli sauce, Chicken chilli soya sauce and then my fav dish on the menu was Lamb Mahlak Sauce. The lamb tasted amazing and one of the best dishes that stood out.
Coming to the desserts, there was darssan, honey date cake, brownie, kiwi pastries, fresh cut watermelon, Strawberry mousse and 3 flavours of ice-creams. All these do complete justice. My sister wanted chocolate sauce to go with the brownie and ice cream and they happily served it on the table for us!
All this for ₹666(exclusive of taxes) is great!!! And to top it all the service was something that made our day!
Main course and starters were pretty good. Desserts weren’t that great. We took the buffet and we were quite satisfied even with a low range of items. Stir fried dumplings in gravy and butter garlic noodles were great. In starters, fried corn and mix veg were very tasty as they were made different from the usual. Overall it was a satisfying experience.

First time we came here trying something new highly recommended the prawns was really really good and those ginger and pineapple 🍍 so refreshing…. They’ve more options for seafood overall excellent….
