We were greeted and taken care of by some wonderful staff. The waitress Uma was extremely friendly and attended to our every need, while simultaneously ensuring that we were enjoying our meal and that the service had no shortcomings. Slightly pricey, but 100% worth it- the food is an absolute delight and the service (as we experienced with Uma, at least) was near perfection.

All under one roof Delicacies (North, East, South and West).
Tips: I would suggest you to book a table since they are really busy during weekends.
First let me start with our entry to the restaurant. Dinner time we booked around 8:30pm and came out around 11pm it's because they have so much varieties and you can really enjoy the place just having a chito chat with your family members.
That was a warm welcome by Mr Diwakar at his style very much appreciated. As soon as the table was allotted, special complimentary dish was served. Its called Amuse bouche. New variety 3 in one welcome drink- Picture posted in the site as well Green colour semi liquid is Kesar pista, Pinkish Round is Gulab sphere and the shot Drink is Kokum Sharbath was really good. You will feell a small burst as soon as you take the semi liquid type which looks like an egg yolk.Its purely veg.
We wanted to try some different starter. Mr.Diwakar and your staff especially Chef Mr. Mahinder and Mr. Muthu were so very accommodating and informed about our special dietary needs.I should also personally thank Diwakar who suggested the best items from Starters to the Desert..
As per the suggestion we ordered Frozen, chat where 2 pax can easily have. Chef comes to your place with a trolley and makes this frozen chat which was amazing. Do ask for this.
After chat we wanted to try some Chinese or North Eastern food and we were suggested with some different Momo types which was Panner cheese Momo and Spinach & Cheese based Momo with their Chef's signature sauce like Red tomato Chili sauce, Spring onion Sauce and the Seaseame sauce. Yummy tummy momos.Live momo counter next to the dining area.
My title was all under one roof coz they serve all types of cuisines like Kerala style, bengali, North indian, Chinese etc..
Not but the least was their signature Ice cream.Rose petals just splash out and a small decorative flower table that you can see as soon as they burst out the ice.
Once again THANK YOU SO MUCH for everything! We had a great evening MR.DIWAKAR and your staff helped to make it that way! We will be back next year! I’ll be sure to let you know in advance before we come again.

J. Hind is definitely a delight for fine dining experience. We wanted to celebrate our anniversary dinner and it was a perfect decision. As expected the staff were very courteous and ensured that it is continued till the end.
We wanted to try the set menu and the decision went well!
We were served with the welcome drink, the soup, starters, Main course and deserts. The interesting part is the live counters that comes to our table. The menu was a royal mughal styled one and which was exciting.

It is a lovely place to spend time with your family or friends. The food tasted excellent and had the GRT stamp all over it. Nice menu options. The ambience was AWESOME. Please check out the pics. We were first welcomed by a three-dish welcome drink, which was ok, but the way it was served was beautiful.
We first ordered an Indian Halloween soup, which was a pumpkin soup. It was not so great because cardamom was overused, and it was dominant.
Then we ordered two dish chaats from the menu, and we were given pani poori first, which tasted very good. A live katori chaat counter followed it. It tasted good, but we loved the way it was made. Please check out the video.
The next to come was chilli paneer, which tasted great as well.
For the main course, we ordered a curried mac and cheese dish, the regular mac and cheese in Indian flavour, which tasted great.
Then came the paneer lasagna. Again, it was an Italian dish with Indian masala. We loved it.
The final main course order was the tarkari biriyani, which tasted very good.
We didn’t try out the desserts. My son had a vanilla ice cream, which tasted good but was too cold and frozen. Iam worried it might create some infection for him as I could see ice pieces on the ice cream.
Anyway, we loved the food and the ambience. I would recommend that you all check it out for yourselves.
One special mention about the atmosphere in the hotel. It was electrifying. It is the Cricket World Cup final today, and it was telecasted on a supermassive screen at GRT. This is the first such experience for my kids, and they thoroughly enjoyed it.
Exceptional!! Had lunch with family and we tried the A la carte menu. The waitress explained everything to us and made suggestions. The welcome drink was too good. The live kebab grill and the nitro ice cream show by the chef were just super!!

I went along with my wife where I ordered chef chaat course which includes PAANI-PURI and LIVE CHAAT prepared by chef at your table. It was delicious and hygienic ;-)
Moving to mains, we ordered AMRITSARI CHICKEN; it is served with 4 chicken tikka served with separate butter-chicken gravy. It was tasty and flavorful.
You can't go wrong with this place, it looks everything with this restaurant is delicious.
This is a really nice North> South Indian restaurant with a nice ambience. They had a special rajinism menu at this time which did have authentic South Indian dishes. Tried their soup, takari biryani (which was a great veg biryani) along with the mirchi ka salon which were all really good and well worth the trip here.

Awaiting a well timed opportunity to treat my parents to a lunch at a star hotel, I ended up booking a table here after considering so many other Fine Dining options.
🚗 Valet Service was pretty punctual and we were greeted by the staff who guided us to our table.
🪑I had some special request for seating and they obliged. 💚 The seating was comfortable and nothing I can complain with soothing music 🎶 that didn't interrupt our conversations.
🧴 We don't usually get bottles water as star hotels serve good water usually. But they really did take a lot of time and were unbothered to refill. 👎
📖The Menu is pretty elaborate with something for everyone. Desi dishes with a global twist is the new hit 🎯
🍲 Soup : Indian Halloween 🎃 - Roasted Pumpkin soup cooked with milk, cream & saffron was really rich and flavorful. We wish it was a tad bit thicker though.
🍥 Momos Platter : 6 momos w/ 3 different fillings and my family enjoyed it 😄
👨🍳 Live Chaat : 6 pani puris & a Tableside live chat prep which isn't very common so we kinda enjoyed the show. The dish was pretty cold from the liquid nitrogen blocking most of the taste.
🍞 Breads : We asked for Lachcha paratha & Hyderabadi sheermal. Parantha not quite best. Sheermal was delicious 😋
🥘 Gravy : Dal Makhni was delicious but was hardly enough for 2 people. Would appreciate if they improved the quantity.
🥘 Paneer Tikka Masala had a strong tinge of sweetness but otherwise the gravy was amazing.
🍫 Desserts : The list of desserts seemed really very familiar yet unfamiliar as it was a fusion cuisine.

⭐ Creme Brulée with pistachio rose biscotti• Blow torched live. Tasted very rich and with subtle sweetness, was absolutely fine.
Tender Coconut 🥥 Pudding 🍮 : I'd say it's the best dessert on their menu among the 3 we tried.
Overall due to lack of staff, the service was not upto the mark . Nevertheless the food/ Ambience is amazing.
I really hope they'd work on the scope of improvement.

This restaurant is situated in Grand chennai hotel . The retardant ambience is very nice and colorfully decorated. The staff was very friendly and explained about each food in detail. The complimentary dish was great .
The south India platter disappointed a bit most of the item were sweet and not very good in taste . However they have served and each dishes in very authentic way and method of preparation also .
We have tried vegetable biryani which was awesome, and a must try there .
The food, presentation and the ambiance were all excellent. Never seen a welcome platter like the one we received. You have to try the Street Chaat Drama for the starter. A chef puts it together at the table. The presentation is excellent and so is the taste. Everything that we served gets a full score from us.
One of my best dining experiences with family. the Chef, staff made the difference despite the place being busy on a Friday evening. Dramatic chaat starter experience, awesome fusion twists on soups, starters, lasagna, delicious tarkari biriyani. don't miss the mild delicious Himalayan Thupka soup, spicy rasa rasam, Gun powder Arancini rice balls

Went here with an expectation of good north Indian food. The food offered was a fusion of indian and continental. Taste was exceptionally delicious. Food was presented with care. Service was excellent. And yeah..Ask for food tasting menu.
One of the finest restaurant in the city. Love the colourful ambience. There are all types of seating available for one to choose (including some not so comfortable ones). Excellent service. The "Zindabad" soup was outstanding. It's a perfect mix of thick and thin soup mixed in front of you. Babycorn salt n pepper, Mushroom gravy, roomali roti, garlic naan were also very very good. Had a wonderful lunch experience and it's definitely worth a visit for those looking for north indian / mughlai style food.
