The Illegal Burger 🍔 is a must try. It is the perfect juicy burger 🍔 I was craving for a long time. Do try their Chocolate Mint Thickshake, and the Chicken Bolognese Lasagna. Loved the ambience and decor of the place. It's an easy recommendation 😉.

This is probably me of my most favourite grilled chicken in the city. The meat was amazingly cooked with the flavour intact inside the meat. I personally loved the sauce was which was served with this. It had a very tangy flavour to it which lifts the overall flavour of the meat. This is a must try at Double Roti, this dish is part of their grilled menu.
Best food, good service and awesome ambience. It's comfort food for me. Their chicken sandwich is great. I 'll suggest this place to my friends family.
Absolutely love the place prominently for the food. Ambience is pretty much like a mediocre cafe and nothing extraordinary and the service is good.
But the food is really great and deserves the appreciation. The food out of the grill oven are fabulous and so are the pizzas. What deserves a special mention are their burgers which are so so juicy and stacked with fillings that always urges you to come back for more.
Two of my favourite dishes continues to be the non veg platter which serves tandoori fries, chicken wings and piri piri chicken and the godfather pizza.

Went there for its burgers, came back fulfilled in every sense possible. The taste, quantity & presentation of its offerings is mind blowing. The shakes & smoothies offered are mouth watering too. Ambience is warm but cozy so reserving a table is an absolute must. Indeed a memorable place for the gourmand in you but remember to visit empty stomach, preferably with only a small set of friends for a wholesome experience.
The burger was good. Pizza, with it's thin crust, added a crispy flavor to it. It was a good experience overall with lively ambience.
Ordered the Tomato Basil Bruschetta and Grilled Peach and Burrata Salad, which is great to taste and yummy. To top it all, the ABC and Orange juice is just perfect,not too sweet or sour.

We had one veg combo and one non-veg combo.
Each came with choice of a dish from starters, a pasta/burger and a drink.
For the veg combo, we had nachos, pasta and an Oreo milkshake.
While for non-veg we had prawns, illegal burger and a nutty affair.
Didn't like the nachos a lot, everything else was good. The burger was excellent!

If you are looking for a restaurant with great food and beautiful ambience , look no further , this is the best place for you.
For starters we had the
1. Mushroom soup with truffle oil - quite spicy , and rich in taste.
2. Shrimp platter - battered shrimp in 3 varieties of sauce.
For mains
1. Egg taco - as you can see in the pic it had a generous amount of cheese on a bed of taco, pico de gallo and egg . The egg alone was very little in amount compared to the other components in the dish.
2. Illegal burger - ordered double patty . No wonder people say this is the best place if you looking for awesome burger !
3. Slow cooked chicken with cheese bechamel sauce sandwich - the chicken is completely melt in the mouth . Shredded chicken with mozzarella cheese on top. Really good.
Drinks - coke and nutty affair shake. I have never had such thick milkshake before. It tastes exactly like snickers in liquid form . The quantity its served in is smaller than that of your normal shake which at first I was a bit disappointed about but then I understood why. One cause it's quite thick almost like ice cream and second it's very filling . That much quantity is perfect to satisfy your craving.
We were happy with our experience here and will visit this place often.

Gastronomer By Double Roti is simply brilliant.
I loved everything about this place.
The ambience is very simple. They've got a TV to watch the World Cup, they've got a very nice Playlist of good English pop music.
Coming to the food, it's a tad expensive but it just so so good.
My friend and I ordered the Pulled Pork burger and the Area 69 Burger.
The Pulled Pork burger was pretty good, but the Area 69 burger was amazeblaze. Absolutely loved it! It consisted of egg, bacon and beef. So so good.
For desserts, we went with Mississippi Mudpie and it's hand down the best, I've ever had.
My stomach could feel the chocolaty goodness.
Top notch.
This place is about 500 for 2 with Zomato Gold.

Classy place to eat. Food is priced at a premium, but the quality and taste is pretty much matched. The dishes are made with good flavour and provide a variety in their menu. Indian, Continental and European. Would recommend for that celebratory meal or even occasional outings.
Went there for dinner, lovely little place. No parking available which was a let down and we had to search a good 10minutes to park the car somewhere on the same road.
Coming to the food
Tried the buffalo wings for starter. Good taste overall.

Cajun chicken pizza- this one was a let down, the sauce overpowered the pizza and the meat itself.
Oreo milkshake- decent, nothing too great.

A very popular place in Chennai with more then 3 outlets. Came over here for lunch with my friends. The place is in teynampet. The place has very good ambience and looks a bit classy. This place looks pretty much Italian and continental cuisine. Now let us talk about the food.
Soups:-
Tomato basil soup and creamy spinach chicken soup, soups were but, I like the part were they put bread in tomato soup, I gave me childhood vibes.
Starters:-
We had a lot of starters over here, started with the salad, it was called sante fe chicken salad. It had a lot of veggies and chicken in it, and the sauces were fine.
We had 2 types of cigars, one was butter chicken cigar and the other one was cheese and jalapenos cigar. Cigar basically means, it is in the shape of a cylinder, like a roll, they tasted pretty good with the sauces they had, guess it was island sauce. Then we had bruschetta, a toasted bread on top of which we have some veggies. I had Tomato basil bruschetta. Then we had eggs benedict, since it had beef, I did not touch it. My friends liked it.
Main Course:-
We had a lot of main courses as well, started with 2 kinds of pizza, the chicken pizza and hoodium pizza, hoodium pizza is veg. The pizzas were a bit thick. They were a bit hard. If they had made it thin crust pizza, it would have great. The taste was a bit plank but with chilli an oregano, it was good. Then we had something called spice bolongnaise, it was a pasta kind of dish, the pasta was something I have never tried it before. It was okay. Then tried the classic agilo olio, a noodles. It was awesome. It was bit spicy but okay, I really loved it. Then we tried the buffalo chicken burger, a pig piece of chicken in the middle, the burger was filling but with the help of my friends we ate it. My friends tried pulled pork sandwich and they really loved it, sadly I do not eat pork either.
Drinks:-
We had lime mint cooler, ABC, masala lemonade and strawberry ice tea. It was seriously pretty good coolers over here. Really loved it. The masala lemonade had some pepper it in, the abc was a beautiful combination of 3 fruits. strawberry ice tea was probably the one I did not like much.
Deserts:-
Out of the 3 deserts that I had, which are flourless cream cake, mud cake, and ice cream cake.....I just fell in love with the ice cream cake. It was a peanut butter ice cream cake and it was just heavenly. The cake just melts in your mouth with a peanut flavour. It is just the best thing I had over here so far. The other 2 cakes were also fine, but I loved the peanut butter cake infinity times.
Over all I Love this place. Their service is fast and quick with friendly staff. A nice place to hangout with your friends and office buddies. Do check this place out guys. My rating would be

Good food and excellent Service, highly recommended for a continental craving. We had All American breakfast and it was nicely done, reducing one star as the scrambled egg could have been served separately than on top of white bread.

Location- there is no valet parking or in- built parking space so that was a bummer. We had to search for a suitable place to park the vehicle as it was a residential area and there were many no parking boards.
Ambience- just tables and chairs. Nothing special.
Food- diverse menu.
1. Rustic tomato and basil soup- very authentic and yummy! they literally gave us mashed tomatoes in a soupy form. It was amazing with tomato pulp in every spoon!
2. Dark chocolate shake- like every other dark chocolate.
3. Cheese and jalepino cigars- perfect blend of cheese and jalepino in a crispy core. Loved it!
4. Mexican bowl- just one word: mind-blowing! Must try dish!
5. Crispy Spanish burger- it was a bit dry. I would suggest to get cheese as add on for this for better palate.
6. Mississippi mud cake- who knew chocolate cakes could melt like that in your mouth! One of the best chocolate cakes I have ever had! Another must try dish!

The service was impeccable. One of the best restaurants I've been to in recent times. A refreshing change to the OG Double Roti. The person who attended us was really good. His name is Arithro. Do check the place out. The chicken lasagna is to die for and the pizza was a blessing.
I visited the Neelangarai one earlier. In this visit at Teynampet, I ordered a Buffalo chicken burger, spinach and chicken soup, smoked salmon capers and cheese bruschetta and a mango milk shake. Loved all the items, except for the bruschetta. I felt the salmon was raw for my liking.

Went here for my birthday and was not left dissatisfied ! The food were delicious especially the sample wings and buffalo chicken burger - euphoric ! The time square hotdog was fine but not as much exciting as the other two,maybe they couldve increased the quality of filling. Overall, the food were decent and the staff were lovely.
There was still an inconvenience though, you dont have a proper washroom facility and theres a huge open slab over the restroom which might concern you so look out for that when you visit!
One of my favorite places to be at, when I have to treat myself with good greasy, cheesy food. It's always satisfying, and the quantity is definitely value for money.
The portions are large and always filling. I would definitely prefer the non vegetarian option, anyday because of the quality.
Had a rough week at work, or want to treat yourself after a weeks of hard work out, this is a place you should definitely go for your cheat day.

Earlier known as Double Roti alone, this Gastronomer is a new addition to it's name. I started to get fond of Burgers thanks to them and their theme. The menu card that is handwritten and their bottles that are like the one's we use at home. Everything is well thought and they are in place.
A best place to have whole new vareity of foods. The taste is really good, buffalo chicken burger is my fav. and also i will suggest you to try out egg benedict that was soo tasty. Quantity and quality worth the money. Serves at a superfast speed. You don’t have to worry about waiting for food. Try out their ABC juice, that’s healthy and equally tasty, and also their mud pie cake is super cool.

This place has been the favourite for many people for many years. I recently had been there for their launch of their new menu.
The ambiance is very good and the staff were so friendly.
The service was very quick and each and every dish of their new menu tastes so good and the fries patty burger and the mud chocolate oreo tasted so good together.
The chicken pizza taste good and the chicken cigars are a must try at the place.
The hot chocolate was served with hot marshmallows which was so tasty and the richness of the chocolate.
They have an amazing variety and tasty food... They have perfect blend in each and every dish! The service and ambience is decent...
But it will never stop to amaze you!!

Worth it and value for money!!
Went to this place on a Saturday afternoon and to my surprise the place is quite small and compact but nicely decorated.
Coming to the food, we ordered burger sliders along with cheese sticks.
Cheese sticks were a little too oily and unlike our expectations, they were more like spring rolls filled up with cheese.
The burger sliders we're decent and nicely seasoned.
Overall a nice experience and would go back to try some more stuff.
I have visited this placed at least 3-4 times a month since discovering it. Great food. Courteous and friendly staff. Can get crowded and noisy at times - can't blame them for that.

Match day was here (Liverpool vs Fulham) and I wanted to get outta the house, grab a good meal while I watch the match. Teynampet had been on my radar for a while, and the menu at Gastronomer looked quite arresting. I was also in the mood for ’em burgers! So, we headed here – and were pleased upon arriving. The place has a warm yet lively vibe to it – with the lighting, the contemporary seating and the open kitchen. The service, initially was a little shaky, but the food quickly made up for it!
I had 2 chipotle chicken burger with single patty. For desert tried mississippi mud pie. The bill came for around 1113₹ the food quality was very amazing. The patty was so good. The dessert was chocolaty and muddy as hell. The ambience was calm and honestly if you want to have a quite peaceful private time DONT go during peak hours. The catering people were also calm.
The place has a very soothing ambience with great variety of continental cuisine. The nachos and their wings are very pleasing and tangy. The Boston BBQ wings are the very tangy and tasty for the wings lover. The pulled pork BBQ and Asian slow sandwich is amazing with the meaty fillings and soft bread , a great sandwich to try. Their signature ice cream cake slice is one of a kind , with layers cake and ice cream filled in them. My favorite drink was the coolest cold coffee , as I never been served a drink in a beaker. Served with great quality and quantity .

Really an amazing place for Burger, pizza pasta and other fast food. The quantity is good and taste is amazing. It's a must try. Cost is slightly on the upper side and I suggest going in a group so you can try out multiple items.
I was there around 8:15 AM, very shortly after they opened for the day on a Saturday morning to have English Breakfast or Benedict as seen in their menu and was mildly disappointed to hear that they were only serving Burgers at that time. They were just prepping and I guess I was a bit early. Ordered a Buffalo Chicken Burger and I Loved it! It was quite filling and the fries that accompanied the sandwich were great too. Ordered a coffee to wash it down. Never expected it to be a Filter Coffee. Although Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and Filter Coffee is a weird combination, I quite liked the coffee. Service was quick and the waiters were polite. Bit pricey. Parking was bit of an issue as it's on the road. Will visit again, but will be sure to visit them not too early in the day :)
Area 69 burger: hands down one of the best burgers I’ve had in Chennai. Both the patty and sauces were tasty.
Buffalo shrimp: Around 12 shrimp pieces were provided. The shrimps are fried and then tossed in buffalo sauce. Loved it too.
Chocolate thick shake: okay, it was not too great.
The cost is high. The quantity provided does not justify the high price. Yet, the taste is amazing. If you are willing to spend, go here and order their burgers.

Food as always was good at Double Roti, what felt strange was being a Sunday their service team was completely missing. Had only one manager profile and one guy for service. There were 3 tables with customers including mine and it took almost 30 minutes for the service team to receive my order. Had a long wait time for getting the food on our table. Parking should be managed. Outside Double Roti we have Malaysian consulate and the road signs says no parking for 100 metres. Vallet incharge in Double Roti even after requesting parking assistance didn’t help us with parking and was grinding to park in the No parking zone. Restroom was smelling bad. Still giving a 4 star since I know the core values of this brand and one bad day should not make me feel the brand is bad.
As a fan of potato fries, I absolutely loved the bacon fries and the lasagna was also really delicious. Though the prices are a little high, the food is definitely worth every penny. There's not much parking space available but I'm sure there'll be plenty of space in the streets nearby. The restaurant has an elegant ambience and can accommodate about 20-25 people.
