After a long time a really feel good restaurant in Chennai in KNK road
First time @ nasiandmee, vibrant interiors with lo-fi music (doesn't disturb your conversations), thug grandma with ramen graffiti as backdrop was dope.
Soup dumping was steamy and lit, the heat retained even after conversation and photoshoot over it for over 15 mins. The mildness of chicken broth, thin flour cover and the punch of soy flavour could be felt as the the dumpling bursts out in your mouth.
Malay satay chicken. Perfectly grilled small juicy cubes of chicken, 6 skewers was less for me. It goes great with their in house spicy, super spicy, spicy sweet sauces.
Pad thai. Tofu, chicken, flavouring, crisp of the rightly cooked vegetables. Not only it tasted great, the texture that felt on the tongue was brilliant.
Coconut flan. After having a filling meal this was bad idea, cuz it made me hungry all over once again. Perfect texture, perfect amount of sweetness, it left you want needing more and with a fresh palate.
10/10 would visit again.

One of my favourite places to go eat panasian food . The dumplings were too good , with so much stuffing and juicy . The food was made with fresh ingredients . The satay chicken skewers gave me a dejavu took me straight to malaysia . The salads were refreshings . The ais kaichang was a really light dessert
Go to place for Asian cuisine lovers. Spicy sambal satay is a must try. And boas...loved them. A bit disappointed in Nasi goreng.

This place at nungambakkam serves authentic Asian dishes and priced lil high. The ambiance is just lit and lovely. All their dishes tasted really well. Service was great and welcoming. To taste thier cuisine its definitely worth to spend place !

Super-fast service, courteous server. Sushi - 4/5 (tried the salmon, avocado, chicken, broccoli cheese one) all turned out to be really good. Malak Chicken was really good. 👌 Tried stir fried lotus stems too - delicious. Satays was good, nothing extra ordinary. Lemon coriander mixed meat soup! Warm and cozy. Awesome!😍 We had some malaysian stir fried rice and Thai red curry with mock meat. Really really delicious! Noodle (bee hoon) light, flavorful. 5 🌟 Lastly for dessert - we had fried ice creams, chocolate dimsums, and panda baos! Words cannot do justice how delicious they were!

Appetiser- Szechuan chilli dimsum- steamed dumplings served with red chilli oil. Perfectly steamed and amazing taste.
Sushi- Spicy tofu and avocado- it was a little sour when you taste the first bite then it’s all fine! vegetarian option!
Main course- Mamak mee goreng- Malaysian Stir fried noodles. Little spicy but the taste was fantastic. Flavours were great!
Dessert- Chocolate baos- the best of all! I recommend everyone to definitely try this in the last.

I was at office and I was usually tired with the same old lunch items and wanted to try a delicious light and wholesome food. And ordered this Singapore chicken rice as I was dying to eat this. Sorry for not uploading the picture because the entire box was ruined by the delivery guy. However please mark my word. The last time I had this was at Singapore Maxwel Hawker Center. The rice being so aromatic with beautiful lemon grass infused chicken, a soup on the side and other condiments. You will not believe how happy and satisfied I was, looking at that meal. I enjoyed every bit and bite of it. A delicious lunch after a long time. I just wished that they would give the rice a little bit more as I felt the quality of the rice to be a little less. Chicken and soup had good portions. Next time I’m going to the restaurant and will enjoy this delicious food. Thumbs Up to Nasi and Mee

My go to Asian place for sure! Incredible service no matter how busy the restaurant is! A lot of their old staff recognise us cos we go there so often. We order a standard few dishes and very they are always spot on . Their dimsums, Milo milkshake, garlic fried rice, green curry are fabulous ! Highly recommend this place that’s maintained consistency in service and food. Kudos guys!

Food as you’d get in a Kopitiam in Malaysia and Singapore and Indonesia, upmarket prices given location, spacious interiors and courteous staff make for a 5 on 5.
The taste is exceptional and while the portions aren’t that generous I’d recommend a visit or two or three :) purely for the gastronomically delightful experience.
Try the soup dumplings, Tom yum soup, hor fun, lotus stems, crispy corn and of course nasi goreng, mee goreng and nasi lemak.
Parking is an issue.

Such a beautiful restaurant located at the bustling knk road, the ambience is great. But it’s packed on weekends also the tables are close to each other so there’s no privacy. Coming to the food, we ordered honey chilli lotus stem for starters and nasi goreng chicken, hunan veg fried rice for mains and tofu satay as a side dish. Nasi goreng was topped with egg and came along with 2 pcs of chicken satay, it tasted amazing. Tofu satay was good but the peanut dip it came along was bad. Also the hunan veg fried rice had a lot of ginger flavour in it making it difficult to eat. I’ve had better hunan fried rice at Many places. Service was very good and quick. The bill was 1600 for these items. They do levy a service charge of 10 percent.

Just loved this place on my first visit. We had mushroom and water chestnut dim sum and che chow dim sum. We also had mamak mee goreng and a softy.
The only issue I had was I could see the dust plastered on plates and banana leaf they served main course on.

The grilled beef salad was an absolute taste explosion! Really well done and I would go back just to eat this. The laksa was everything it should be - warm, comforting and coconutty. Very enjoyable meal!

We were wowed by the sushis at nasi and mee.. Chef Nakajima from Japan was in the house. And the special sushi were really one of a kind. The cream cheese tuna sushi had a twist with a topping of a caper and a Japanese gelly - which added a very unique flavor to the sushi. Fantastic food and I hope the chef will be back in town again. Exceptional service by Hari as well.

These days, it’s more about the experience you have at a restaurant rather than the food in itself. Agreed, the food needs to taste good with a decent quantity on your plate - but that’s just not enough. Sometimes, the food maybe not to your liking - but the place, service and the ambience around you would be something you were comfortable in, that would have left you wanting to come back - or not leave at all :p
Such a place is Nasi and Mee, a fine dining restaurant in the middle of the hotshot area of KNK Road. Once you enter the first floor, you will be greater with warm lights and a fine texture based wooden tables.
Coming to the food, everything was well presented well - we ordered a ton of dishes, ranging from their specials to our specials - as usual their food was top notch, more than enough quantity and excellent presentation of the dishes. Had a really good time on one of the long benches with our team! Must try: Milo Milkshake :P and Lotus Stem
For the people reading this review, in case you want to go for another Asian Restaurant apart from Nasi and Mee, you can opt for Asian Station which is diagonally opposite to Nasi and Mee. A fantastic place with a different sort of ambience provided. 5 stars for both the places!
Had been wanting to go here for a long time .The place was pretty crowded since it was late when we reached but still loved the ambience and the service they provided.Starting with the soup,we had ordered the veg Tom yum soup which was perfect because my dad was feeling feverish and this was very soothing , I tired the salmon sushi, it was my first sushi experience and I did like it. I wanted to try their Milo drink because I ahd heard many positive reviews on it but then I ordered the chendal drink which was very very good and has become one ofy favorites,If your a coconut milk and jaggery lover ,you will surely like it.We also had the beef salad,Malaysian chicken satay and egg garlic butter fried rice which were all equally good. For deserts we had the lychee icecream and the Milo Pannacota ,which were both nice. Will definitely try their iced Milo drink next time and their chocolate dumplings

Small nice restaurant with good food. Visited on a friday afternoon and it was already crowded. I felt it to be really noisy and loud because of bad acoustics, but otherwise the ambience is really nice, visually.
Started with fish fingers and I could feel familiar flavours tangled with new ones. Singapore rice with chicken was mesmerizing with it's subtle flavours (not the spicy explosion which many prefer). I would really recommend to those who would like to try new cusines and hangout a bit, to try this restaurant out.

This is my favourite go to Pan Asian place. Probably the best Pan Asian restaurant in town! They serve iced milo which is just purely amazing and their mi goreng, yum. It's pretty affordable and the ambience is good. Love it.

The quality of the food here is just like what I have eaten in KL. We didn't try the Milo (had a lot of it in KL :) )
Starters we tried the Pandan Chicken Satay. Loved Pandan flavour cakes in KL so decided to try it out. This didn't have much of the Pandan taste but if was very juicy.
For mains, we tried 2 things.
Nasi Lemak was WOW. Highly recommended! The flavors were spot on.
Singaporean Chicken and Rice. This is one of the go-to foods to eat. Try the steam chicken, brings out the blandness in the food. Loved it!
If I lived in Chennai, I'd probably eat here every week!

I have nothing new to say about this place, already enough said. The Best asian food of all time. I have visited this place for at least 5 times with different set of peoples and tried almost all their specialities and every time had a good experience.
I especially like all Malaysian food here which includes - Laksha (soupy noodles), n&m curry noodles, nasi goreng, chicken satay. Also the dumplings with chilli sauce is die for!
Iced milo is something which you can find commonly in all Malaysian restaurants. Here it was an differently refreshing experience, it's "ICED" milo, I stress it because when you have your first sip you'll have a straight brain freeze moment, it's that iced.
I was also fascinated by a colorful dessert that was going around different tables and the staff there was so kind enough to explain me what it is! It happened to be a famous Malaysian dessert called Ais kacang (cendol ice cream) which is nothing but shaved ice along with few colored accomplishments which includes beans, vermicelli, corn, peanuts etc.

I went there with a friend for dinner. It's basically a place for Asian food. The Ambience is warm and friendly with courteous staff. They have A lot of choices among vegetarian food as well as non-vegetarian. I would definitely recommend this place to one and all who love Asian food.
Thai food is definitely soul food! Been a regular at their blore and Chennai branches. Always start with cold milo. Would recommend trying everything on the menu, depending on your spice level. Ask the waiter for recommendations rather than just sticking to the good old Thai green curry.
My first experience at trying the thai, Japan cuisine. Not a bad experience though. Loved the tom yum soup, n&m nasi goreng. Especially the lemongrass aroma of the tom yum soup was awesome. Had a diversion to the taste of sushi! Since a new eater to these dishes, wasn't able to eat with a proper way and then Courteous staff who helped me on way the sushi needs to be taken. Overall had a happy dinner 😊
Nasi and Mee! Located at KNK Road nugambakkam! They serve hot yummy South Asian Street food! my order was 1.che chow chicken dumplings 2.spicy sambal chicken 3.ice blended milo! Che chow was good and served hot! Spicy sambal chicken was very nice and had a different flavor in it! After that cold milo will be a good choice to compensate the spicy flavors!

The ambience of the place was very pleasant. Well decorated place with comfortable seating and a couple of spots for photos too. The only negative about the ambience - the lift in the building smelled really bad so we ended up walking up two flights of stairs.
The food was good in taste and quantity. We ordered the N&M Curry Noodles (veg) and butter garlic fried rice (not pictured). Both the dishes tasted good and the quantity was filling. Good place for Asian food, I would like to visit again and try more dishes.
Large restaurant in a well decorated and arranged space. Food is from across a variety of SE Asian countries and a good fusion. All the dishes we tried were good and freshly made. Only downside was that almost everything is fried including the ice cream. The lotus root was overfried and hard in consistency. Other dishes like the broccoli or edemame were good. Very friendly and attentive staff.
We had dinner on New Year and I must say, as a Malaysian, the food tasted authentic. My craving for Chicken Rice was satisfied! Also had their Chendol, not bad. But couldn't taste the gula Melaka in it. We also got vege dumpling, was good. I had it with their chilli sauce and loved how spicy it was. Their noodles was just okay.
We had to wait for almost 30 minutes before getting our main dish. Please improve on your timing. And customers have to drive a bit for parking. Other than that everything was good.

Food, ambience and service is good. I went at 12pm, just when they opened, the crowd was minimal but after an hour or so, the restaurant was full.
Would suggest braised pekking duck, the sauce given with it was great.
Price is on the higher side though.
Frankly I expected more than what it has become: jaded. The chair backs are kind of grimy-sticky with food grease and food quality has gone slightly downhill. For example Xiao Long Bao is not delicate at all. Blatantly thick skinned, with obvious maida, the service staff literally cuts through it to allow the steaming soup out. Otherwise, the food was good.
My go to spot for sushi and iced milo. I usually have prawn sushi’s but have to accept that the crispy avocado is better than the prawn sushi. The ambience is good. They also serve the best Nasi goreng. And the plant based bao was good too.
Nasi & Mee- One of best Southeast Asian restaurant. Great food and Excellent ambience. Only one flaw is unstructured parking area other than that everything is good.

Food is delicious. They serve almost authentic Asian dishes. But its too pricy. People there are humble and they're ready to help you with menu and food. Atmosphere is good. Parking facility is limited. For bike it's easy but for car it's quite difficult in KNK road.

Food was Bang on. So much variety to choose from. The dimsums was cooked to it's perfection, best so far. Wana try some Asian cuisine mainly Singaporean & Japanese. I did like the ambiance too. In case you are waiting in a queue, there is a sitting area where you could click some pics also plan on what you could order. Do visit this place as it's simply amazing.
