One of the best restaurants available for pure vegetarians, great atmos. Pretty good service too. Would recommend any given day! On a good day, If you are lucky, you will get to see the great chef and CEO Mr. Venkatesh Bhatt!!!
One of those few places on my list that was saved up a long time ago and had the chance to visit after years.
Located inside the Accord Hotel, Royal Indiana is one of those pure veg places that serve authentic veg starters, main courses, and desserts in buffet style. Some visit for their grand decor while others visit to try out the dishes of the renowned chef Venkatesh Bhat. 🤗
As you enter, valet parking takes care of the hassle and all we have to do is to reach L2 in the building.
It is a quaint place with limited seating but the decor speaks for itself. It was classy, well-lit with South Indian embellishments and live Carnatic music to soothe our ears. The service was courteous with the team serving us a chocolate ganache on the house at the end owing to our special day. ❤️❤️
It was Nannari Sharbath for the welcome drink while Banana stem pepper chaaru for soup which was super smooth and very peppery.
Moving on, it was Pumpkin Galouti Kebab with a burst of flavors all around
Ajwani Paneer tikka - Super soft marinated paneer with an amazing aroma
Kara paniyaram - Not the best but tender on the inside and went perfectly with the peanut chutney
Veg cutlet - Beautifully minced veggies straight from the kitchen; had the perfect blend of sour and spice
Pineapple porichadu - My sweet tooth cravings never stop; pineapple coated in sweet batter and glazed with sweet sugar syrup, this was crunchy, sweet, hot, and soft, PERFECT
Corn adai - A bit plain from the corn but OK
For the main course, we tried Bhat's special Sambar, Rasam, and Vendhaya Kozhambu. While the Sambar was so good, the rasam and kozhambu were out of this world. Soupy rasam and spicy kozhambu MUST TRY with their steamed rice
Urulai veppudu - Well-fried potatoes sauteed in ground SI spices accompanied well with the rice and gravies
Kothamira annam - Coriander flavored rice (variety rice), unique, and with the Gobi adraki (very soft and well cooked), this was pretty GOOD
Subzi Biryani was full of aroma and fragrance from the authentic herbs; this bonded very well with the soupy Palak mushroom (Very healthy)
To end up the meal with, it was Semiya custard payasam - OH WOW, not so sweet but so damn thick from the custard, AMAZING taste
Chocolate Horlicks Mysore pak - Very buttery and sweet, though the flavor was not evident, this was soft and good
Brownie - Couldn't believe that this was soft though it wasn't hot, Loved it
Pineapple pastry - Puff pastry stuffed with sweet sauce and pineapple, not the best but OK
Finally, the buffet price was a bit on the higher side but in recent times there are many coupons and offers everywhere which you could use to cut down a bit. 🥰🥰
Ambiance and Service is so good...
Good and tasty south Indian food varieties...
Loved their Adapradhamam in dessert.
Goli soda felt nostalgic.
Sweet paniyaram and Kara paniyaram tastes yummy.
Satisfying south indian Lunch buffet...
Best Indian vegetarian buffet in town. Food was top notch and so the service. Jackfruit biriyani was too good. And so the desserts.
There was a live light music which made the entire experience wholesome. Will definitely visit again.
How full can your plate get???
Awesomely full, at Royal Indianaa, Accord metropolis, TNagar.
Best vegetarian spread in the city. Mild mesmerizing music, eye soothing ambiance, flavorful food.
Outstanding veg food with great spread. Icecreams were plain flavours with less toppings, we expected "creation icecreams"
Spoons were not sufficient when we went for dining. The management should look into it next time . Otherwise a fantastic place for veg ppl
Went for dinner with 11 of our Family Members on 29th Aug 23 (Onam Day)
It was Onam Special. Very nice Spread.
Taste was awesome 👏
Special thanks to Manigandan, always with a smile while servicing.
This is my first time at this restaurant.
The food was extremely good and the reception was excellent.
The silverware and the interior decor was good.
The best part is the live music played. It was very peaceful.

I am not usually a fan of buffets, and I'm a big fan of meats. But Indianaa at the royal Accord is an absolute exception for how exceptional it is with the cuisine. You are greeted with seven starters to your table, a soup, a drink and give other small bites, each of different flavours, setting a path as to the experience that you shall indulge yourself in with the buffet. The only way I could describe the taste of certain menu items, namely the Barista subzi biriyani, the jackfruit biriyani, the murungakkaa payaa is, that they have nailed the flavours of their non vegetarian counterparts more than actual meat included recipies would do.
And when you see 'Chef's special' ok the placards, just go for it, you wouldn't regret doing so. And the best part was the price point, for food so innovative, flavourful and rich, this buffet is really affordable and enjoyable for everyone.
Special shoutout to our waiter for the evening Mr Ramachandran, restaurant manager Kadal Murugan, head chef Dinesh and the man behind the entire operation, chef Venkatesh Bhat
As the name states, the dining was indeed royal. The quality of the dishes are good and satiates the appetite. Food was very comforting even for elders. Good ambience and excellent service.
This place is a must try for people who enjoy and relish proper vegetarian food.
The menu was combination of South Indian and north indian cuisine.
We had soup, 6 starters and variety of main course to choose from.
There was live carnatic music as well which was very nice and enjoyable.
Each and every item on the menu was really delicious. We loved the soup which was valazithandu and parupu chaaru which was beautiful.
Overall it was worth the try here.
Please do not expect any fancy dishes here but come here if you really appreciate the food and taste!
One of the best vegetarian buffet in Chennai. Hospitality was great and food was amazing. Had lot of starter options. Also had an opportunity to meet Venkatesh Bhat. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Good food, excellent customer service and very friendly staffs, absolutely amazing quality exhibition by accord keeping up with expectations. The new year special desserts were top notch!!!
Overall highly worth for a family/friends meet-up.
Awesome place and ambience...worth going there as food is very tasty and different types of dishes are there...Also its a combination of north Indian and south indian food.
Staff is very supportive and they have even prepared separate jain starter and main course for my mother in law.

We visited Royal Indianaa for Dinner buffet in Dec 2023 and we thoroughly enjoyed the dine in experience. This is a pure vegetarian buffet menu and the spread is a balanced mix of South Indian and North Indian cuisine. The food taste was excellent, ambience was amazing and on the day we visited there was also live music and a magician. Service was exceptional and special mention to Dhanasekar for quick service and accommodating our bespoke requests. The buffet consists of soup, starters, main course, desserts, sharbat and golisoda. The highlight for me was chef's signature South Indian dishes like Royal Indianaa rasam, Arachu vitta sambar and the amazing spread of desserts both Indian and continental. I totally recommend this place for a nice evening out with family or to celebrate a special occasion with your loved ones.
I recently tried this restaurant in Chennai , and the experience was exceptional. The thali was perfectly al dente, the flavors were rich and authentic, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend kungumapoo semiya javvarsi payamsam – it was the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal.
I took my mother there for a special experience. It becomes difficult to take my mother to such 5-star dining places because she eats only in pure vegetarian places, so this was a refreshing new experience.
The starters served were yummy! Finger licking good! The main course was all a little bland, dry. The desserts were again yummy! Maybe a little oversweet, I'd say.
The ambience is that of royalty. The soft Carnatic music playing in the background is lovely! Altogether a fine experience.
My mother was overjoyed! That's about all that really matters to me! :)
