Ente keralam - Good authentic kerala style cuisine.
They started with complimentary banana chips and another banana type sweet chips. Ordered sadhiya which is too good with so many dishes in it from starter to dessert. Since it is vegetarian we ordered some more non veg startes like koonthal ( which is calamari ) and fish pollichathu which is also good.
I feel like it is a bit expensive comparatively otherwise a good restaurant with good service.

Traditional Kerala food is the Sadhya which is what I had here.
The sambhar & puliseri were outstanding.
The rasam wasn’t good.
All other items including payasam, pickle, poriyal etc were all ok.
The service was good but very slow.
Nice place to eat home style tradition meals.
Authentic Kerala cuisine with a quite and amazing ambience. As soon as you enter the restaurant you can spot a lot up Viakku and Nel para which gives you a typical Kerala feel altogether. The menu has covered most of the Kerala dishes and it's a bit confusing to decide what to eat. The dishes were very tasty and made with the best quality ingredients and quantity was also satisfying. We had Appams which were just too good and the Parottas were also flaky and soft. The Beef Ularthiyathi was lipsmacking followed by the Chicken Varutharcha curry. The Malabar Mutton and Chicken Biriyani was the highlight of the day which was spot on flavours of the Malabar region. Do try it and I am sure you won't be disappointed. Finally for dessert we had the Tender coconut pudding, Tender coconut payasam and Ada pradhaman. All three were exceedingly good and it's difficult to judge the best among the three. Thoroughly satisfying and enjoying the meal at Ente Keralam. Truly amazing place.
A must try restaurant. Everything about this place is great. Family friendly spot, delicious food, first class service.
Excellent Kerala foods
Delicious especially shrimp masala , fried squid
A good Kerala cuisine restaurant,
Good place to dine in with your friends and family.Great ambience.
A must visit during Onam .
This is the go to place as far as Kerala/Malayali cuisine and savouries are concerned. The food that stood out for me are the Chicken/ Mutton varatharacha curry (a Gravy dish made out of fresh ground Kerala pepper and Kerala spices with coconut) the right combination for this dish are many it can be had with Vellappam/Puttu/ Kerala Parota/ idiyappam (strong hoppers).
The fish fry and the Malabar fish curry is another classic to be had from this place. The prawn or crab curry and fries are another delicacy. The Biriyani and the Ghee rice is a must try. The list of my favourite menu will keep on increasing with more visits. As far as i know they have a branch in Poes Garden (the place I tried and another branch I tried is Anna Nagar. Both the place are wonderful places.
The staff service is a bit slow in Poes garden and I feel that it is time for the interior make over. The pricing is on the premium category . It is high but lesser than the 5 star categories. I can equate the cost to a good 3-4 star hotel. Surely one of the best place to try the delicacies of Malabar and also South Kerala.
My first visit to this outlet with my family. The place was fully occupied hence we had to wait for our turn. There was at least a 15 minute wait.
While waiting, the menu was handed over so that we could decide on our order and served immediately once we got our table.
We were ushered to the 1st floor and showed to our seats. It was 3 of us but was given a table for 2 which was a little uncomfortable for a proper dining experience.
The food was nice and priced reasonably.
To those who would want to try out this place, please make a reservation prior to your arrival.
I had the privilege of eating at Ente Keralam recently with my family. We had very specific demands as my niece has severe food allergies. The staff were very understanding and helpful and took extra special care of our table, checking on us to make sure everything was okay.
The food needless to say was mouth wateringly good with flavour packets varying from a spicy punch in the beef curry to a delicate tingle in the stew. The staff kept timing the appam being supplied to our table to ensure we got it hot. Needless to say it was a crisp and fluffy delight each time. The food was truly art that was served on our plates.
A special mention to the staff who help us through our meal - Susanth, Nithya, Jayakumar and Gopal.
Mr. Susanth was the one who took our reservation and assured us that we were in safe hands- and we truly were.
We would like to thank the Ente Keralam team at Poes Garden for making our dinner so special and offering us the wonderful treat. So next time you are looking for a good place to eat in Chennai try out Ente Keralam, you will not be disappointed.
Tried Sadhaya meals, it was delicious and homily. The one only restaurant that serves more vegetables with the meal in the city.
Excellent Kerala food. We had the Kerala Sadhya which was great value for money. I would definitely go again when visiting Chennai.

Great place to eat Kerala cuisine
Specially don’t forget to take Elneer coconut Pudding… Tender coconut milk and creamy bite just melts in mouth…
Onam sadhya at ente keralam was bliss. It consists of 32 items and cost around 450rupees. It is not usually crowded but due to onam festive, We had to wait nearly 40min. It was totally worth the wait! We ordered two onam sadhya (only sadhya is available along with a la carte starters). Kozhi kari pichipotadu (deep fried BL chicken) was crunchy to the bite and comes along with appalam toppings. The Syrian beef roast was my next try. It comes with perfect spice and flavour which left me drooling. Head over to try the authentic Kerala food here. The onam sadhya is limited and make sure to do prior reservation to avoid queue hassle.
Best onam sadhya with a wonderful atmosphere . The sadhya is served till Sep 3rd don't miss it !
Authentic Kerala cuisine. Their Ada pradaman is really delicious and is a must-try here. The kerala paratha and idiyappam are also good.
