This restaurant is located inside Taj Connemara, a hotel housed inside one of the oldest standing British buildings in Chennai.
The number of seats is sufficient with respect to the volume of crowd it caters to, but if the rush is a bit much, I doubt how well it will be able to manage the situation.
This restaurant located inside Taj Connemara has a great ambience and chic interiors with an old world dinning feel. I had dinner and brunch here while staying at the property (no brunch buffets due to Covid restrictions) but the variety of food was good. Service was quick and extremely family frien
Breakfast at the Taj Connemarra is always a highlight of our visits to Chennai. Mr Bhaskar provides personalised service to a very high standard and the range of food is exceptional. My wife eats by “themes” - only “regional” one day, then “exotics” the next day, and “all-in” on subsequent days. Ver
I wish I took more pictures of our lunch and dinner. The food is so fresh and they worked with me to accommodate my nut allergy. Service is top class. Special thanks to Baskaran who greeted us every morning.
Taj Connemara is my favourite luxury hotel after this visit the hotel is very classy, the lighting is perfect. I feel better than Westin chennai. I wonder how I managed to miss out on this place all these years! The buffet was an absolute delight and so was the service and ambience. We were there for a birthday and our waiter surprised us with the most amazing cake at such short notice. Absolutely worth the experience.

In case you are not a Chennaite, the Connemara itself is iconic and has been around for over a century. The Verandah is so quiet that you forget the fact that you are right at the heart of Chennai city. Service was good (Mr. Baskaran gets a special mention as he went above and beyond wrt service). O
he food in #TheVerandah is great in all timings and no complaints, Staffs are extremely courteous esp Yuvaraj who did good care. The spread is different for Breakfast and Lunch on the same day
I had a great time at this. Food is very good and service is excellent. Mr Shaji and Mr Miller was excellent in the service and given us best experience.

Amazing place to dine!! Bhaskar, Shankar, Anjali, lokanath are such wonderful hosts. They really make sure that you are well fed and taken care of. They don't leave any room for mediocrity and make sure you are having a good time.. thanks to the staff at the salon, spa and front desk..
