Hospitality was the best.. Felt at home... On special request, with out prior booking they have provided us the separate room to share and make fun of our childhood memories.. Being new to the place, we left the option to the Manager, to provide the best food of the restaurant. Every item was the 'The Best'..
Nariyal aur subz shorba, roasted makai shorba to start with tasted so good, a must visit place for the softest paneer ever, ambience is too gud and best hospitality from staffs, an awesome dine out place in adyar
BB is an awesome place to dine with family and friends...
We have been there often and always have loved the ambience and food... Worth to be there atleast once to experience the goodness...
Keep up the good work team BB!
What struck me the most is the ambiance, awesome transformation of a house and excellent use of space. Great food with original tandoori flavours, and a perfect place for a family dinner!
Great Food. Great service .Great experience.
Enjoyed my every bite from the authentic Indian kitchen.

Wonderful place to dine in with family! Food was with unique taste! Fabulous ambiance.
One of the best mutton galouti kebabs I have ever had..just melts in mouth...
Tandoori chicken 4/5
Butter chicken 4/5
Service 5/5
Ambiance 5/5
Their staff are very courteous...
The place has a really nice ambiance and interiors are really done well. It seemed like a house converted into a restaurant. Menu is vast and has a lot of variety. staff is polite but the price is a little elevated. Nevertheless will be going there again post the pandemic to try other things on their menu. But the dessert won my heart.
The best food in the city. And the staffs are very polite.
The best restaurant in Adyar. The ambience was classy and cosy at the same time. I loved the Kashmiri Kebab and the dip that they served alongside it. The tandoori chicken that is served here is very delicious and has an authentic taste to it
Will look forward to visiting again.
We chose this place for a close family get together of 11 people. The Manager of the branch, Mr. Shadab was very accommodating and gave us good suggestions for the party a few days before. On the day the food and service was great, they were open to spontaneous changes, and overall we had a great experience. Definitely recommended for cosy family parties with personalized buffet menu!
The food is a delight to all. The Gulawti kabas had a lot of saffron and were very heavy. The dish could satisfy two adults very easily. The cheese chilli mini chulcha was great too with cheese oozing out with each bite. The best dish was Amritsari Kulfa. The phirni and the kulfa and the falooda all were perfect to make a sweet tooth's day.
We had the Kashmiri Naan Kebab. Hand-ground, mutton mince seekh infused with the flavors of 'kebab chini', served on a saffron brushed naan, accompanied by 'doonchetin', a Kashmiri inspired creamy yoghurt dip and pickled onions. It's one of the Chef's Special ♥️ The kebab was so juicy and tender. It melts in the mouth 🤤 The naan was was so soft and coated with butter. We totally fell in love with the ambiance. It's so peaceful and vibrant at the same time!
Price - 695 ₹
Rating - 4.5/5
It's a little pricey but it's totally worth it!
I have had the best pudding ever! The ambience, service and food is everything is perfect.
Extremely good service by the staffs and all the dishes I've tried here were lip smacking. Cheers to the whole team for making the restaurant such a wonderful place to be !
Went to the place having heard a lot of good reviews. The food was really awesome and kept up the expectations. Ambience was nice. But the place was highly overpriced. Anyway a good place to hangout as a family 😊
If you're a fan of ambiance then this place is a must-try for you. The starters were great, so were the beverages. The menu is a little complicated to understand. Else, it's an amazing place for all occasions birthdays /family lunch/office party, etc
A great place to dine. The ambience, service and food all were excellent! Loved the place and enjoyed the food.
The service was excellent.. guiding through the menu to help us chose what we want to have! The food was presented good and taste was excellent!
It's like a mini palace. The decor is amazing which makes the ambience perfect. The only small glitch is that they serve only vegetarian food. Anyway,I loved the food. Also,a bit pricey. Anyway,a great place for trying out.

The best North Indian lunch I have had in recent times!!! My parents and I started off with Chicken Almond soup followed by Naga gosht chicken pepper wings. The pepper wings were juicy and were out of the world. They literally melted in our mouths. The Almond soup was good too.
For the main course, we had ordered Mutton kheema paratha, chur chur paratha and amritsari aloo paratha with salli chicken as gravy. The show stopper was the kheema paratha which was soft, crispy and tasty by all means. It's definitely a must try!! The rest of the items were delicious too.
And yes, a wonderful ambience that reminds us of the past. On the whole, a must visit place that's worth every penny.
Ambience : 4.5 Food : 4.7 Service : 4.9
Starters in this restaurant are accompanied with mains. This is the first place I ve noticed this and it was an excellent experience. Moreover my family and me love starters more than main course actually, so it turned out to be a great deal. Fusion dishes mostly were very tasty. Chai in the end was worth the whole. Would return for more.
I was looking for maharashtrian titbits to eat and Zomato suggested this a place serving maharashtrian dishes. Had not thought much about ambience & interiors while coming since I was looking for things as simple as Poha/ Sabudana Khichdi .
After getting the car parked on Adyar lanes , When I walked in , I was completely taken over by the interiors . Lot of sunlight streaming infrom big windows , open spaces to sit and eat as well as closed spaces for groups
I didn't find any of the things I was looking for to eat however foodwise all the items were good and tasty. Quantities are more than sufficient for 1 person.
We had Old Delhi Murg Boti with Butter Roomali where the chicken pieces literally melted on the tongue followed by Chicken Biryani & Redhot kerala fish with rice. Chicken Biryani was ok ok but the Red Hot Kerala fish turned out to be too good.
In Dessert , Ras-e-aam was a heavenly experience
One finest place to have ,planned this place for very long time
.
.
.
We had rosy vennila, keema mugalai parota, marathi jinnga kirch, jholpai chicken.
Good ambience, the food is totally fresh, one of the finest food and they were very polite, try rosy vennila more over like rose milk ,more over a better place for food lovers
You never get tired of going here.. One of my favourite places.. Limited menu but everything is so freaking tasty and satisfying.. I love their starters chilly cheese Kulcha, Andhra chicken fry. And main course their mughlai keema paratha and the star which I always order goan mango Based prawn curry with rice.. If only prices were slightly less will be there all the time.. But even then once in a while great place to hangout with family, friends and colleagues.. 😀
Do try peru pleasure guava with a chilly tinge.. U will love it..
Best food i ever had.....great service and even better taste and equally good ambience. Came to Chennai for 3 days and it got added to my best restaurant list i ever visited. Keep it up!
Most striking feature is their SERVICE. Each and every staff here is polite and their Manager is highly receptive to the customer's communication. We had one of the best Chicken & Almond soup and also Old Delhi Murg Boti, Rajputana Murg Soola Kebab, Bombay Chicken Biriyani and Peru Pleasure. Each item had its distinct taste. We prefer spicy Biriyani, but Bombay Chicken Biriyani was NOT spicy. When this was mentioned to the Manager, he immediately took back the Biriyani and replaced it with Spicy, tasty Biriyani as per our preference. Felt a bit expensive - Plain Steamed Rice @ Rs. 175/- , Biriyani @ Rs. 475/- - a bit TOO EXPENSIVE.
I will give a BIG 5 star for Bombay Brasserie. They are one of my favs in the city when it comes to indian cuisine. An ideal restaurant to go with family and also take people from work. The ambience is great and makes you feel at home. They have a great chef and food is awesome and Mr Shadab is a great host and has a wonderful staff working hard to give customers a great experience
This is loving restaurant that serves North Indian, South Indian food. Very simple ambience and very neat and clean. Food hygiene was good level. Andhra chicken was so good and spice level was high and prepared with ground masala. Lucknowi Paraath Paneer was super. Gulawati Kebab juicy and delicious. Nice staff and good service.
The search for a restaurant with authentic North Indian cuisine in Chennai can be very tough, and that too being an understatement.
Thankfully, there's Bombay Brasserie to put an end to this search. Ambience and all is cool, but when you find proper dhaba style chicken and chole kulchey like they serve, everything else is secondary. The service and staff are helpful and were efficient even on a busy Friday afternoon. Starting from aam papad paneer and jholpai chicken in their entrées to the assortment of naan and chicken butter masala, not to forget the kolkata style fish fry, everything was top notch.
Highly recommended for people wishing to gorge on authentic North Indian cuisine..
Could not click any pictures, because we could not help ourselves as soon as the dishes were served.
The food is always so amazing!! The service always so kind and courteous and the most dashing manager ever!! Thank you Paramesh and the ever charming Shadab..for such an awesome Sunday evening.. we love coming here again and again and again.. 👍the food was sooo good that we couldn’t click any pictures!! You guys rock!! Always!!

One of the best North indian food you LL get in the city. Started off by ordering tamatar soup which was by far one of the best I've had. It was pure and simmered to the correct level. Aam papad panneer is a must try. Panneer had a tinge of raw mango with a bit of masala and lotus stem. Ordered roomali, lasooni and aloo dum gravy. I felt the gravy lacked a bit of spice but nothing to be really concerned about. The breads were pretty good .. parda subz briyani stood out. The aroma of saffron jus melted me away in the first shot. The ambience is also quite calm and peaceful for a lovely dinner or lunch .
Have heared alot about this place. So after visiting Besant Nagar beach just dropped in at this restaurant and found the location and the decor was just woow. ❤
While entering saw some small small dining halls with classic club decorated style what were not full. Wished to seat there but the head waiter didnt allow us by saying its for 3 to 4 people. After saying its empty and no1 is there too..he didnt allow.😔😏 upset me a bit.
Anyway seated in the mail hall with a big family crowd and another 2 ti 3 tables.
Again m saying just loved the ambience. A deemed music would have been nice. But music was not there.
Munu is super cool and huge. Found some interesting facts and choices.
Orderd Calcutta style fish fry and Lucknowee the Galauti kebab. For main course ordered aloowala biriyani, whole wheat rumali roti and chicken tikka butter mashala.
Fish fry and kebab tasted just outstanding. 5/5
Biriyani was disappointing as the seasonings and flavours both were missing. Roti and the side dish was too good. Chicken tikka masala had a nice smokey touch and pieces were so tender.
Service was very nice. Forgotten the name(from Silchar Assam) the host was amezing. Keep it up. Shall visit soon to try out other dishes.❤👍
BB has been there on my list for a long time and I kept there for a good occasion. Last month I visited this place with my wife.
We ordered am papad paneer, naga chili wings as starters. For main, we ordered Rajasthani dungar mass and rotis. We also ordered pede lassi. Almost every dish in this menu can be seen by you across India. But bb gave a twist to their names, that's Is interesting.
All the dishes are good in taste and its presentation. I liked the wings really. It was not as hot as I expected. Aam papad paneer had a different taste. It prepared by stirring paneer, lotus stem pappad, green mango in some sauce. Lassi was normal and nothing special about. Dungar mass was a little disappointed.
I felt a little slow in service, There is less number of staff to attend the tables. I even read about this from other Zomato comments.
The ambiance is not good. A house converted to a restaurant with old kitchen utensils placed as decorations.cool...
More than anything I loved the branding of bb...
Amazing food with authentic taste from northern part of our country. For all those with a knack for 'north Indian' food, a must go. Higher side of budget for students.

Favourite favourite favourite North Indian place.
This has become one of my favourite and go to place for good North Indian food. The price is a little high but it definitely worth every penny.
We ordered,
Lassi (sweet) - it so delicious. The khova on top makes it even more yummy 😋
Tandoori chicken- definitely a must try. It really very good.
Chicken wings- oh my god, it made my mouth water. It was utterly delicious. The dip that came with it was amazing as well.
Assorted breads- the naans, rotis everything is good. I ordered romali roti for the first time. And it tasted heavenly with the gravy we ordered.
Chicken tikka butter masala- bestu ! Definitely with it.
Overall I had an amazing experience and I would love to visit again!!!
Really a great place to have mouth watering food and deserts
Chur chur paratha - best nd must try
Deserts really good especially the jalebis
Lucknowi parath paneer great one
6 chutney papad
Food - 4/5
Service - 4.5/5
Ambiance - 4/5
A very beautiful place. We opted to have Garlic naan, butter naan, Chicken Tandoor butter masala. We also had the Panch phoran chicken which was mouth watering! The naan was super soft and tasty.
The butter masala had some amazing flavours and is making us want to go back again.
A house which is converted into a restaurant, so you cannot expect the ambience to be top notch. However, what is top notch is the food. Absolutely delicious drink and food. One of the best in Chennai. Perfectly cooked with right amount of spices. The only downside is the price. Deliciousness comes at a cost in Bombay Brasserie.
Nothing pleases like an unmitigated surprise. So that evening at Bombay Brasserie, having found ‘Lemon Creamy Fish Tandoori’ - discernibly bearing outward kinship with Levantine delicacies, pose temptingly, I smelt delectation in the offing. Likely to strike as an Albino to the tyro, this fairer avatar of Tandoori swimmingly belied all that I had apprehended until biting into it.
Juicy Fish chunks, lovingly marinated with a perceptible accent of ginger and lemon, yielded to my incessant love-bites giving out a round savour worth zealous pursuit. Astute use of tamer herbs as seasoning secured a mature and savoury mouthfeel. And, I smiled at finding just another reason to frequent Bombay Brasserie. Anyone to up the ante !?

Delicious food and excellent service in an old world classy ambience. Limited menu options, refined food. They take their time to serve, but worth the wait considering the care taken in preparation and serving. Been here thrice and would love to go again
This restaurant was an accident after we found olive and basil to be congested ... Turned out to be an happy accident
Orders Angoori Soda,Naga Ghost,Naan Kebab,Salli Chicken, and Butter Naan ...
Naan kebab was juicy as hell ... Rest were good too though seasoning could have been better ...
Dessert choices were minimal and not fascinating...
Awesome ambience with month watering food. They have a diverse menu offering a lot of options to choose from and the quality, taste of food is simply superb. Decently priced and definitely a recommended place to go.
Excellent food especially all their panner dishes are mouth watering. Defnly one of the best places to dine in. Be sure to book as we were surprised to see big crowd on new year day.
Fabulous food and cozy ambience. A must try restaurant in Chennai for authentic North Indian Food. Lip-smacking tasty food and bewildering variety.
Fine day ... A team outing ... We had ordered both veg and non veg ...
Since I am an veggie my comments will be on veg
We have ordered gun powder potato, Lohr ki aloo side dish and roti and naan, and dhum biriyani..
The food was awesome ... Especially the briyani with dominance of saffron ...
Loved the food :)
I LOVE North Indian food and this place is the best I’ve found so far in Chennai. Except for their steep price point, this place just all in all excels. Mouth watering food accompanied by a very pretty ambience this place is a MUST-TRY!
MUST-HAVES (now the names might be a tad wrong but you can show them these pictures):
Paneer starter (vegetarian)
Galouti kebab (spicy non veg)
Panch Mirch Chicken (🤤)
Bombay Dabba Gosht (mutton and egg, need I say more?)
Salli Chicken
The only thing I wasn’t fond of was probably their Jalebis cause they weren’t hot and crispy.
Still my most favorite North Indian restaurant!

They just nailed the art of cooking tasty and delicious North Indian cuisine. Being a vegetarian foodie, my cravings for a delicious paneer recipe was fulfilled by the “Aam Papad Paneer” dish. It was finger licking good and a must try one.
Went to this place to explore what the hype is all about.
First thing that impressed me was the decor. The ambience was very cozy for me to get comfortable.
Food:
Gunpowder potato - Ordinary. Couldn't observe any kind of taste in it
Chilli cheese kulcha - too good for cheese lovers. A pinch of spicyness made it so delicious.
Ghost pepper wings - best of the lot . A well cooked food that had the taste of all sorts. Personally liked the domination of spicyness. Go for it!
Goan prawn biriyani - prawn was cooked well and the masalas were quite different from the usual and it added a drooly flavour to the recipe.
Service:
This is where these guys have to work on. Even though I was not made to wait longer, I couldn't see the waiters smiling or serving with pleasure which are actually the most important factor. Forget about this and you will have a great time here.
Overall review:
Ambience - 5/5
Food - 4/5
Service - 3.5/5
A must visit place !
The food, ambience and service was excellent. People who loves North Indian cuisine just close the eyes and walk in you have got lot of variety. I have to say do try the starter spicy pahadi mushrooms.. it was so delicious and I remember the taste forever. Where my friends both veggie and non vegetarians enjoyed it.
Visited this restaurant for dinner on 11th Jan.
They have designed a big house into restaurant and it has come out really well.... The ambience is restro themed and we liked it....
Wrt the food we tried only the veg dishes. Right from the starters to main course everything tasted excellent. Every dish was worth the penny.
Should try the papad with 6 variety of pickles, panner dishes and Veg biryani. The mushroom chukka (don't remember the exact name) was the stand out.
All the staff members were friendly, courteous and super cool. You will have to pay 5percent of ur bill as service charges if you wish to. Considering the great service tat we received we went ahead and paid it...
They surprised us with a bread pudding as a complimentary for my daughter's birthday and made it a memorable one....
Will surely visit this restaurant again...
Cons
Food quantity was not adequate
Less options to choose from the menu..
Bombay Brassrie is a perfect blend of elegance with Indian food. It was a day when we wanted to celebrate sons fantastic performance. We decided to go to this place. It was a fantastic experience along with very good service. The Panneer Parata roll and starters were very good.
Visited BB after quite some time. Lots of changes I noticed. Some for the better some not so. Water is no longer the earlier style soaked with lemons / orange etc. Menu has undergone changes some of the earlier tasty dishes dropped. Didn’t notice much of new additions as well. Service was nice and the vegetarian fare we ordered tasty as always.
This was my second visit to the place. We came here on New year night. Though we didn't had reservation, they were very polite and accommodating and were provided with a table with 5-7min
Ambience - A very well lit, spacious place with quirky decorations like old vessels and stuffs that have it a nice antique look. The fairy lights were all around, making the place look amazingly romantic.
Food - We ordered lasooni naan, paneer tikka, roomali roti and chicken curry. All the dishes were very tasty. The paneer was very soft and melted in the mouth.
Service - It was good. Staff was polite and courteous. They were all smiles and made it a cheery place.
Price - This place is slightly expensive for the amount of food that's offered.
Overall a good place to come and celebrate special occasions.
Delicious food, and such a cozy interior.
Best place for both intimate dinners and for catching up with your family.
Love this place!
P.S, try to eat every dessert there. Truly yum!
The antique look of the interiors with well lit sitting areas, tall ceilings, and unique decors makes you love this place. The food is unique with a taste of originality of various parts of the country. Malabar Fish Curry and Kashmiri Kebab Naan are a must try. Slightly heavy on your pockets though but it is worth the experience.
Though I live in the other end of the city, I always try to make it a point to visit this outlet of Bombay Brasserie. The food is excellent and the flavours are mind blowing. The service is perfect and the staff are super helpful and patient. The speed of the service is also perfectly paced. Though I feel the prices are a tad bit on the higher side, I don't mind paying it for the quality of food. The dum biryani, the galouti kabab and chur chur paratha are amongst the best I have had in Chennai.
Ambience is good. This place has separate dining rooms in case you want to book a table for a private dinner with family or friends. We tried the paneer Sirka Pyaaza, Dhal makhni and Amritsari kulcha. The kulcha was very soft and the subzis were excellent. For dessert we had the Ras e Aam which is Rasogulla in rabdi with Alphonso mango pulp. This is one of the best desserts ever- it just melts in your mouth. Must try if you visit this place! When it comes to cost, this place is a little heavy on your pocket.

Great ambience. Great food. Quality of food is amazing. Quite enjoyed the lunch time at this place. Can improve serving the food quicker. A little too expensive to visit frequently.
This spot was chosen because of different varieties of cuisine they offer from different states in india. The food was excellent but I feel certain items on the menu which are overpriced. Everyone attended the event enjoyed the food..Mutton sheik kebab and their desserts were absolutely fabulous
This place is so amazing .We tried many dishes over here and all were soo good and I loved it .This place is a must try :)I especially loved the papad which they served with variety of chutny and panner tikka was also so good .Bun parotha is also special there .

Been here last week. Well in Chennai... Indian food is not always upto the mark. Bombay brasserie changed that conception of mine. Taste... Too yum. Presentation... I loved that. Ambiance was just perfect. The staff were extremely courteous. Definitely the best place for Indian food in Chennai.
Ps: The mocktails are a real star as well. !
Their desserts menu is wonderful! No harm in starting from the last meal while you are here. It's a good pick for a fancy/formal dinner with friends, family or colleagues. The staff is polite and helpful :) The food is delicious and looks great!
Been to this place thrice so far. It's little on the expensive side but the taste of the food is worth it. It has some delicious North Indian Cuisine. Ambience and Service is also satisfactory. A must visit if price is not an issue. Do try Dal Makhani & Cheese Naan...
Good starters mocktails and the most amazing desserts ...one was served on a bed of smoking liquid nitrogen. The accompaniments are yummmm but measly quantity of raita and main course was disappointing.
A restaurant with Pleasant ambience that serves great food. Must try - kasmiri naan kebab, goan prawn biryani, Indian breads, bombay dabba ghost. The items are quite pricy but for the quality and the unique flavour that each dish has, I would definitely pay the price. The problem that I found was that the mocktails are not worth the money but the food makes up for the mocktails . Courteous staffs.
P.S. Go with a proper Foodie(the ones who can distinguish flavours) to have a great experience.
As all pointed out, the ambience is unique in Chennai and nice place if you look to have a bit of privacy during dining. The food is very well cooked and presented. In starter we ordered paneer and fish item.. I loved the chutney that they gave along the dish..In main course we ordered chicken which was aptly marinated. The price is bit on higher end and not at all value for money.I would recommend the place if you are looking for experience and good food.
Ambiance 5/5
VFM 3.5/5

Taste of foods 4/5
Ambiance is unique at this place and you will get enormous variety of foods. But I didn't find food taste for all the items to be any special. We went in a group of 16 for lunch. You will get sufficient and isolated space for a big group
we actually went as a team around 9of us were there, the ambience was very peaceful and well maintained. We started with non veg starters and tried naga chicken pepper fry, Andhra chicken, tandoori, fish fry, etc, but I would say every dish was amazing in their own way, especially the fish fry it was too crispy. The Andhra chicken was little dry, Though the quantity didn't go in correlation with the price, but still you don't get that feeling mainly because of their presentation and the taste. Then we shifted towards main course where we ordered the most popular dish of them, the chicken Tikka butter masala with some chur chur parathas which by the way tasted amazing. On the other side my vegetarian friends ordered romalli roti and panner gravy which was tasty too. Totally the ambience is too good for dinner especially, the food is too tasty for tummy and the cost is little higher than usual.
Awesome food and service!! We went here today for a treat and really enjoyed both food and service, especially the quality of food served with more natural flavours. Most of the dishes were unique and even the sauces and mango salsa were amazing.
Great service, amazing food and a lovely setting. The prawn and chicken starters were on point, the naan lovely and the service stellar.
Spilled one of the drinks I ordered by accident, staff were great at helping clean up and even made me a new drink though the fault was all mine. The menu is extensive, so a few visits might be warranted to get the complete experience.
Great eating experience as it had an old brass collections display.. Food is authentic and has superb flavours..!! Everybody must try this place.
It's a cute tucked away restaurant and it got the best retro ambience with amazing food.
Hand down the best north indian place in chennai!! Their service is also good. The ambience gives out such warmth!
Dishes i had
1)Kashmiri naan kebab - this is a MUST TRY!! Its mutton sheek kebab( quite long in size) along with a huge butter naan to munch it with, and a yogurt dip which elevates the dish to another level!!!!!
2)Chicken tikka biryani - another favv, cuz where do we get such flavour, spicy and so yum tikkas, and the masala has that amazing aroma, just perfect for you to hog on it.
3)Paneer tikka - the pieces were quite thick, so i felt it light ah bland, but no regrets, it was still really soft and flavourful!
4) calcutta fish fry - basically rava coated fish fry, quantity wise okay, but the taste isnt that great.
5)Anglo indian bread pudding - warm and gooey bread pudding, with a crunchy layer on top, served with vanilla icecream, and a malai topping with it. So basically tasty maxxxx!
6) mango rasagulla - this is quite new, serves with liquid nitrogen base, tastes yum especially in summers when we cant get enough of mangoes!
Dishes slightly on the pricier side, but once a while it wont hurt. Keep looking out for offers on dineout, zomato. Adyar branch is the best one
Nungambakkam branch, the food isnt this great
Excellent food choice for a weekend mood. Loved every bite of it. Each dish was nicely made to taste and unique recipe. Mr. Shadab was very courteous and friendly. His hospitality was commendable. Would recommend this place for awesome delicacy
Bombay Brasserie - Great place with lovely ambience. The food was awesome and staffs were cool.
The dishes are quite expensive here. Few veg and non veg items were of similar price tag. The food quality and taste were fantabulous. Worth the price ! They can improve on quantity. Overall - you can experience good Indian taste and some with twist here!
The service was great, the food was good not amazing, a bit pricey, would recommend the Amritsari Aaloo Kulcha, Chowpattty Corn Chaat.
Gunpowder aaloo was disappointing, Galawti kabab was fine. The ambience is satisfactory not that amazing.
We went there for buffet dinner. The ambience is beautiful and very photogenic restaurant, food presentation and taste was also good.
I gave 1 star less since vegetarian options were a bit less as compared to non vegetarian.
Excellent food, enough parking right in the middle of Adyar

One of the best experience. A must visit place if you are a foodie. I did not have any complaints for any of the dishes. Very friendly and cordial staffs. The theme of the place brings back the nostalgic memories from my childhood home and of my ancestral home. The price is bit on the higher range but it is worth it. 11 of us had a team lunch here nobody had a bad comment. Its a cosy and a classic place where you can enjoy your food. I will definitely visit again.
THE BEST!!
You get some amazingly high quality top notch dishes which tastes too good which you’ll crave for.
It’s interesting that they converted a house into a restaurant place.
The only sad part is the rates are quite expensive but just go for the mouth watering taste of their food.
Old is gold. Great food and ambience of course but the staff is even better. Best fine dining experience so far in Chennai.
These pics were part of our Set Menu for a group... After the few pics we got so hungry we forgot to click more pics... Sorry... We had our little private space... The food was good...Non vegetarians would have loved it a little more spicy... Great efforts from Nadeem to make sure we all were comfortable and served everything with a smile... Thanks Nadeem and team... Job well done...
Okay, one word - wow !
Bombay Brasserie is an exquisite restaurant. For one, it joins the league of wonderfully done restaurants that were flipped from being private residential properties.
The ambience is nothing short of serene, calm and isolated.. All despite being located right next to the high traffic Adyar bridge.
Car parking could have been difficult had it not been for the valet parking service that mostly help find a parking spot on the road or under the bridge. Even helpful enough to find my phone in the car and ensure I got it to me at the table.
The menu is unique and tastefully done with context of the region's influence. There's a very reasonable waiting time for the food to be delivered once you order. The wait staff are professional and friendly.
The food itself- The mutton kebab and chicken kebab were simple delectable. Amazing but expensive. If the items were 50 rupees cheaper you might have as well declared the chef's skill is outstanding.
The chicken biryani follows the same story as well. Great but expensive for the quantity.
One disappointment was the removal of the chocolate roti dessert which was distinctive and out of the world but apparently management decided to remove it from the menu.
Go here for sure! It is wonderful but expect to spend INR 1,000 per person for a full meal.
The Food is really delicious. lil costly but you can enjoy as a group. Since we have requested to celebrate our friend bachelors party, they have provided a private table and area to us.. And we enjoyed a lot. And the customer service is very good.
The only drawback i felt there is no background music played in the restaurant so it is very quite and audible to others.
Nice ambience
Typical North Indian fare with fancy names
Nice decor
