Spilled one of the drinks I ordered by accident, staff were great at helping clean up and even made me a new drink though the fault was all mine. The menu is extensive, so a few visits might be warranted to get the complete experience.

Dishes i had
1)Kashmiri naan kebab - this is a MUST TRY!! Its mutton sheek kebab( quite long in size) along with a huge butter naan to munch it with, and a yogurt dip which elevates the dish to another level!!!!!
2)Chicken tikka biryani - another favv, cuz where do we get such flavour, spicy and so yum tikkas, and the masala has that amazing aroma, just perfect for you to hog on it.
3)Paneer tikka - the pieces were quite thick, so i felt it light ah bland, but no regrets, it was still really soft and flavourful!
4) calcutta fish fry - basically rava coated fish fry, quantity wise okay, but the taste isnt that great.
5)Anglo indian bread pudding - warm and gooey bread pudding, with a crunchy layer on top, served with vanilla icecream, and a malai topping with it. So basically tasty maxxxx!
6) mango rasagulla - this is quite new, serves with liquid nitrogen base, tastes yum especially in summers when we cant get enough of mangoes!
Dishes slightly on the pricier side, but once a while it wont hurt. Keep looking out for offers on dineout, zomato. Adyar branch is the best one

The dishes are quite expensive here. Few veg and non veg items were of similar price tag. The food quality and taste were fantabulous. Worth the price ! They can improve on quantity. Overall - you can experience good Indian taste and some with twist here!

One of the best experience. A must visit place if you are a foodie. I did not have any complaints for any of the dishes. Very friendly and cordial staffs. The theme of the place brings back the nostalgic memories from my childhood home and of my ancestral home. The price is bit on the higher range but it is worth it. 11 of us had a team lunch here nobody had a bad comment. Its a cosy and a classic place where you can enjoy your food. I will definitely visit again.

Okay, one word - wow !
Bombay Brasserie is an exquisite restaurant. For one, it joins the league of wonderfully done restaurants that were flipped from being private residential properties.
The ambience is nothing short of serene, calm and isolated.. All despite being located right next to the high traffic Adyar bridge.
Car parking could have been difficult had it not been for the valet parking service that mostly help find a parking spot on the road or under the bridge. Even helpful enough to find my phone in the car and ensure I got it to me at the table.
The menu is unique and tastefully done with context of the region's influence. There's a very reasonable waiting time for the food to be delivered once you order. The wait staff are professional and friendly.
The food itself- The mutton kebab and chicken kebab were simple delectable. Amazing but expensive. If the items were 50 rupees cheaper you might have as well declared the chef's skill is outstanding.
The chicken biryani follows the same story as well. Great but expensive for the quantity.
One disappointment was the removal of the chocolate roti dessert which was distinctive and out of the world but apparently management decided to remove it from the menu.
Go here for sure! It is wonderful but expect to spend INR 1,000 per person for a full meal.

The Food is really delicious. lil costly but you can enjoy as a group. Since we have requested to celebrate our friend bachelors party, they have provided a private table and area to us.. And we enjoyed a lot. And the customer service is very good.
The only drawback i felt there is no background music played in the restaurant so it is very quite and audible to others.

This is my fourth visit to the place. The first three on regular week days and were in the early days of the restaurant getting opened , I would have rated the place then as 4 or 5 stars. Based on that experience I recommended the place heavily to a bunch of friends who were meeting after years and we had dinner tonight. Sadly the standards seem to have slipped drastically , the place probably merits somewhere between 2 and 3 stars.I am not sure if it is the weekend crowd that caused this drop in standard or a natural lowering of quality with time. We ordered a mix of non vegetarian and Vegetarian dishes , the fish was not great , the Biriyani was rather dry and the Dal was totally devoid of salt. I just cannot accept any establishment serving North Indian cuisine that cannot make a simple Dal Tadka and mess it up so badly. The other vegetarian dish was nice , the desserts were some fusion food which again was a bit vague. ( Rasagolla baked in Rabdi along with some Mango sauce on dry ice - a bit like listening to a Carnatic song sung in rap with a symphony in the background - if one is into that sort of thing one may like this dish as well ) . The kulfi was good. My started drink too was vague. The service pleasant , took a while but that is ok I guess since it is a Friday. Overall , the place going by today's experience is not worth the billing that I gave to convince my friends to eat tonight. I am bothering with a long review since I have had very good dining experiences in the past in the same place. Hope you folks take this feedback and improve the quality of cooking - please get your basics - your Dal Tadka right ! The exotic stuff can come later !

Having wanting to visit BB for a long time, decided to dine with my friends on my birthday. Overall it was a good experience. Ambiance was good, could have been spaced out a bit. Food was tasty and service was excellent. However food was very pricey. It was fine considering the good ambiance and service, however charging Rs 90 for a small plate of Pappad which is usually served as starter in all restaurants could have been avoided. That looked pretty cheap on the restaurant side. Would be great if you could reconsider and relook in to such small things.

Quaint little place with great food - taste and presentation. Amazing use of what appeared to be many rooms in what was originally a house. Great family restaurant vibe. My only gripe is that there were not too many original recipes in an already limited menu. Especially for a restaurant serving food that was predominantly Western Indian style along with some North Indian dishes.

Great ambience. Service was really good. Have an appealing menu. We started of with refreshments. The mocktail Rosy Gulab was awesome. Probably one thing for which I will go back to this place. Starters stuffed mushroom and paper waali machli was tasty. Though the main course curry pardha pander was not that great; overall I will rate this place at 4 for the ambience, service and value for money.

The place has a really nice ambiance and interiors are really done well. It seemed like a house converted into a restaurant. Menu is vast and has a lot of variety. staff is polite but the price is a little elevated. Nevertheless will be going there again post the pandemic to try other things on their menu. We chose this place for a close family get together of 11 people. The Manager of the branch, Mr. Shadab was very accommodating and gave us good suggestions for the party a few days before. On the day the food and service was great, they were open to spontaneous changes, and overall we had a great experience. Definitely recommended for cosy family parties with personalized buffet menu!

The food is a delight to all. The Gulawti kabas had a lot of saffron and were very heavy. The dish could satisfy two adults very easily. The cheese chilli mini chulcha was great too with cheese oozing out with each bite. The best dish was Amritsari Kulfa. The phirni and the kulfa and the falooda all were perfect to make a sweet tooth's day.

Hand-ground, mutton mince seekh infused with the flavors of 'kebab chini', served on a saffron brushed naan, accompanied by 'doonchetin', a Kashmiri inspired creamy yoghurt dip and pickled onions. It's one of the Chef's Special ♥️ The kebab was so juicy and tender. It melts in the mouth 🤤 The naan was was so soft and coated with butter. We totally fell in love with the ambiance.It's so peaceful and vibrant at the same time!<br/>Price - 695 ₹<br/>Rating - 4.5/5<br/>It's a little pricey but it's totally worth it!

This place was one of my go to places for North Indian food but it has only degraded in the last few years. The service is extremely slow and poor. We ordered paneer butter masala, paneer sirka pyaz, dal fry and coconut rice. The dal fry had a very bad smell to it. The paneer butter masala gravy was sweet and it didn’t taste like the usual gravy one expects... there was something off. The paneer sirka pyaz had an overdose of salt and the coconut rice was half cooked. To top it all the waiters had lecherous looks.

I have been to the Anna Nagar outlet and the new VR Mall outlet and had an amazing time with family. I was looking forward to have a really good time at the Adyar outlet and there we were sitting at the table begging for water to be served 20mins after being seated. The food was uncooked and had to be sent back to the kitchen twice. The manager was irresponsible and did not have the courtesy to even come to the table to check what the problem was. This experience has spoiled my entire happy picture that my family can have at Bombay Brasserie.

This is the third time I'm going to this place and this will be the last. I have no problems about the food but more than food people should be respected. First the guy takes orders n keeps going away to take care of another guest and I receive my bill n the first screen is tip amount n decide to skip it the guy is least bothered to had my card in my hand and decides to drop it off on the table. And least bothered to keep the mint in the end . Which was all done for another person next to us ......I'm not demanding it but at least some respect could be shown to hand over the credit card in my hand. The best North Indian lunch I have had in recent times!!! My parents and I started off with Chicken Almond soup followed by Naga gosht chicken pepper wings. The pepper wings were juicy and were out of the world. They literally melted in our mouths. The Almond soup was good too.<br/><br/>For the main course, we had ordered Mutton kheema paratha, chur chur paratha and amritsari aloo paratha with salli chicken as gravy. The show stopper was the kheema paratha which was soft, crispy and tasty by all means. It's definitely a must try!! The rest of the items were delicious too.<br/><br/>And yes, a wonderful ambience that reminds us of the past. On the whole, a must visit place that's worth every penny.<br/>

I was looking for maharashtrian titbits to eat and Zomato suggested this a place serving maharashtrian dishes. Had not thought much about ambience & interiors while coming since I was looking for things as simple as Poha/ Sabudana Khichdi .<br/><br/>After getting the car parked on Adyar lanes , When I walked in , I was completely taken over by the interiors . Lot of sunlight streaming infrom big windows , open spaces to sit and eat as well as closed spaces for groups<br/><br/>I didn't find any of the things I was looking for to eat however foodwise all the items were good and tasty. Quantities are more than sufficient for 1 person.<br/><br/>We had Old Delhi Murg Boti with Butter Roomali where the chicken pieces literally melted on the tongue followed by Chicken Biryani & Redhot kerala fish with rice. Chicken Biryani was ok ok but the Red Hot Kerala fish turned out to be too good.<br/><br/>In Dessert , Ras-e-aam was a heavenly experience

The food is good here, the staff used to be really good here but the last time i came service was horrible.we came on a monday and their private dining rooms were empty.. Even the main hall tables were empty so we requested to be seated in one of the tables in the private dining which the server really hesitated to seat us there even though he said it was not reserved.. Guess that place is not for us peasants. We told the server that we will be ordering in a while as i had come to meet up with an old friend after long time we wanted to also chat for a bit. The server kept rushing us with menus then kept on asking us if we needed anything else when we just wanted to be left alone for some time. Guess he was bored as the restaurant was empty at the time we went and kept nagging us. Sorry i would have given 5 stars usualy as the food was good and ambience was good as well but the nagging service is the reason for my 3 star.

I had a very horrible experience at Bombay Brasserie. We had gone with high expectations based on the reviews, and restaurant looked good from outside. We realised there was no water in washrooms to even wash hands and the employees had a very casual approach on the same. A waiter and manager both handled the situation very unprofessionally and kept on giving excuses rather than resolving the same. You can anticipate the hygiene levels they would have at the kitchen area or the servers hygiene. Please go at your own risk.

Most striking feature is their SERVICE. Each and every staff here is polite and their Manager is highly receptive to the customer's communication. We had one of the best Chicken & Almond soup and also Old Delhi Murg Boti, Rajputana Murg Soola Kebab, Bombay Chicken Biriyani and Peru Pleasure. Each item had its distinct taste. We prefer spicy Biriyani, but Bombay Chicken Biriyani was NOT spicy. When this was mentioned to the Manager, he immediately took back the Biriyani and replaced it with Spicy, tasty Biriyani as per our preference. Felt a bit expensive - Plain Steamed Rice @ Rs. 175/- , Biriyani @ Rs. 475/- - a bit TOO EXPENSIVE.

This is loving restaurant that serves North Indian, South Indian food. Very simple ambience and very neat and clean. Food hygiene was good level. Andhra chicken was so good and spice level was high and prepared with ground masala. Lucknowi Paraath Paneer was super. Gulawati Kebab juicy and delicious. Nice staff and good service.

The search for a restaurant with authentic North Indian cuisine in Chennai can be very tough, and that too being an understatement.<br/>Thankfully, there's Bombay Brasserie to put an end to this search. Ambience and all is cool, but when you find proper dhaba style chicken and chole kulchey like they serve, everything else is secondary. The service and staff are helpful and were efficient even on a busy Friday afternoon. Starting from aam papad paneer and jholpai chicken in their entrées to the assortment of naan and chicken butter masala, not to forget the kolkata style fish fry, everything was top notch.<br/>Highly recommended for people wishing to gorge on authentic North Indian cuisine..<br/>Could not click any pictures, because we could not help ourselves as soon as the dishes were served.

One of the best North indian food you LL get in the city. Started off by ordering tamatar soup which was by far one of the best I've had. It was pure and simmered to the correct level. Aam papad panneer is a must try. Panneer had a tinge of raw mango with a bit of masala and lotus stem. Ordered roomali, lasooni and aloo dum gravy. I felt the gravy lacked a bit of spice but nothing to be really concerned about. The breads were pretty good .. parda subz briyani stood out. The aroma of saffron jus melted me away in the first shot. The ambience is also quite calm and peaceful for a lovely dinner or lunch .

So after visiting Besant Nagar beach just dropped in at this restaurant and found the location and the decor was just woow. ❤<br/>While entering saw some small small dining halls with classic club decorated style what were not full. Wished to seat there but the head waiter didnt allow us by saying its for 3 to 4 people. After saying its empty and no1 is there too..he didnt allow.😔😏 upset me a bit.<br/>Anyway seated in the mail hall with a big family crowd and another 2 ti 3 tables.<br/><br/>Again m saying just loved the ambience. A deemed music would have been nice. But music was not there.<br/><br/>Munu is super cool and huge. Found some interesting facts and choices.<br/><br/>Orderd Calcutta style fish fry and Lucknowee the Galauti kebab. For main course ordered aloowala biriyani, whole wheat rumali roti and chicken tikka butter mashala.<br/><br/>Fish fry and kebab tasted just outstanding. 5/5<br/>Biriyani was disappointing as the seasonings and flavours both were missing. Roti and the side dish was too good. Chicken tikka masala had a nice smokey touch and pieces were so tender.<br/><br/>Service was very nice. Forgotten the name(from Silchar Assam) the host was amezing. Keep it up. Shall visit soon to try out other dishes.❤👍<br/>

BB has been there on my list for a long time and I kept there for a good occasion. Last month I visited this place with my wife.<br/><br/>We ordered am papad paneer, naga chili wings as starters. For main, we ordered Rajasthani dungar mass and rotis. We also ordered pede lassi. Almost every dish in this menu can be seen by you across India. But bb gave a twist to their names, that's Is interesting.<br/><br/>All the dishes are good in taste and its presentation. I liked the wings really. It was not as hot as I expected. Aam papad paneer had a different taste. It prepared by stirring paneer, lotus stem pappad, green mango in some sauce. Lassi was normal and nothing special about. Dungar mass was a little disappointed.<br/><br/>I felt a little slow in service, There is less number of staff to attend the tables. I even read about this from other Zomato comments.<br/><br/>The ambiance is not good. The khova on top makes it even more yummy 😋<br/>Tandoori chicken- definitely a must try. It really very good.<br/> Chicken wings- oh my god, it made my mouth water. It was utterly delicious. The dip that came with it was amazing as well.<br/>Assorted breads- the naans, rotis everything is good. I ordered romali roti for the first time. And it tasted heavenly with the gravy we ordered.<br/>Chicken tikka butter masala- bestu ! Definitely with it.<br/><br/>Overall I had an amazing experience and I would love to visit again!!!

Very costly and suitable only for people spending money lavishly. Giving stylish names to dishes and writing stories on menu cards is just a trick to attract customers. Maybe it can work for a short period and not on a long run.

I have been to this place both in Bangalore and Chennai, so let me share both the experiences. Bangalore one was for evening tea and snacks with friends, we took vada pav and some variety of teas, nothing great about the taste, I am not sure why they have the word 'Bombay' in their name, it gives us an illusion of Bombay cuisine, but its not. In Chennai, I went for lunch, firstly the service was very bad, the waiters looked uninterested to seat you, take your order, or even serve your food. Coming to taste - ordered Chur Chur paratha, Dal tadka, and Mushroom masala, Dal was uncooked in dal tadka, and it was one very average Dal tadka that I have tasted. Mushroom masala was full of spices which I felt is unecessary. Their price range is on par with Cream center, but taste wise they are no where close. Only good thing is the interiors which have a nice blue vibe going on, and the location, probably a refresh of the dishes and staff would bring the restaurant back to style.

A very beautiful place. We opted to have Garlic naan, butter naan, Chicken Tandoor butter masala. We also had the Panch phoran chicken which was mouth watering! The naan was super soft and tasty.<br/>The butter masala had some amazing flavours and is making us want to go back again.<br/>

A house which is converted into a restaurant, so you cannot expect the ambience to be top notch. However, what is top notch is the food. Absolutely delicious drink and food. One of the best in Chennai. Perfectly cooked with right amount of spices. The only downside is the price. Deliciousness comes at a cost in Bombay Brasserie.

So that evening at Bombay Brasserie, having found ‘Lemon Creamy Fish Tandoori’ - discernibly bearing outward kinship with Levantine delicacies, pose temptingly, I smelt delectation in the offing. Likely to strike as an Albino to the tyro, this fairer avatar of Tandoori swimmingly belied all that I had apprehended until biting into it.<br/>Juicy Fish chunks, lovingly marinated with a perceptible accent of ginger and lemon, yielded to my incessant love-bites giving out a round savour worth zealous pursuit. The food is decent but the service quality and the way they treat their customers is pathetic. <br/><br/> I visited the Adyar branch this Thursday for lunch where i had a really bad experience. We ( 5 of us ) had made a reservation and when we arrived, we requested to be seated in the open area. They said there was some construction going on and hence we were seated in front. We ordered a 3 non veg and 3 veg starters along with chaas and masala chai. Some starters such as the Calcutta fish and gunpowder potato were really good but others such as Aam Paneer, Naga ghost pepper wings and Jhinga were a let down ( considering they charge premium price for everything). When I went to wash my hands, i noticed people being seated in the open area :( <br/><br/>We ordered Amritsari Kulcha, Chur Chur paratha with Tarkari Maseldar, Dal and Rajastani Dhungar Mass. The breads and Tarkari was good to eat. The Dal and Dhungar mass ( mutton) were average to say the least. In addition to the dishes we ordered, the waiter also got Bhindi masala which we never asked for. He insisted that we had ordered the dish and after discussion he took it back. We finished our meal and got the bill. The head waiter told us that he had excluded the Bhindi from the bill ( like he was doing us a favor). I noticed that they have levied a 5 % service charge and a bottle of 'Aachi' water was charged 90 INR !<br/><br/>We were then asked for a feedback on a tablet. We rated the food as 4/5 and service as 3/5 . A few minutes later, the waiter asked us why we had reduced starts on service. We told him about the confusion with Bhindi and he seemed pissed. In 5 minutes, he came back and asked us to leave ( ' please leave sir, closing time' . We noticed there were other big groups which were still dining and the restaurant has no such closing time for lunch. We realized the bad rating was the cause for this rude behavior and left the place with a bad taste in our mouth.<br/><br/>I will never visit a Bombay brassiere again thanks to the 'thugs' they deploy as waiters and the pathetic service quality.

I live close to this place and went today with lot of expectations.Had ordered butter chicken, mushroom masala and aam paneer with rotis and lassi.the taste was ok.but I was surprised to see such poor cleanliness inside the restaurant.two of my dishes had multiple hair strands and house flies flying around.when you pay a premium price ,forget about the taste I would expect at least the food to be hygienic,neat and surrounding clean but I was totally shocked.(even the plates and table were not clean)<br/>The quantity was ok.Ambience is not great.But if you ask me I would not recommend this one in Adyar,there are better ones around.This is my sincere review.Infact this is my first time review which I wanted to post.

A big disappointment with the very limited menu and extremely mediocre food. Service was mostly indifferent..we had to ask for plates to be changed after appetisers and no one cared to even serve the mains. <br/><br/>Food - Paneer with lotus stem seemed like a sauced indo Chinese starter with exactly 2 pieces of lotus stem in it. When we pointed this out they were nice enough to get us a few more pieces. This was the highlight of the service aspect. <br/><br/>Galouti kababs..mutton content was less and the kabab seemed pasty and stuck unpleasantly in the mouth due to whatever filler had been used. And the paratha served under it was not fresh and the texture was unpleasantly leathery. <br/><br/>Main dishes were just ok though we had struggled to decide our order since there are only 5-6 veg main dishes and only 2 chicken gravies on the menu. Which is fine but then you should make those few items well! The gravy of paneer with vinegared onions was almost the same as the kofta gravy. Very very average kali dal not liked by the group. The naans were leathery to the first bite and inedible by the time we were in the middle of the meal. Very poor quality breads for a specialty North Indian restaurant. <br/><br/>

The overall experience here was not as good as the Nungambakkam branch. <br/><br/>Coming to food, the food we ordered was decent in all aspects. But then again was not on par with what I had in Nungambakkam. Might be because of the items that we chose to order or may be it was just an off-day, which could have been a rare occurrence for them. <br/><br/>Giving it a 3.5 star rating.

Went to this place to explore what the hype is all about.<br/>First thing that impressed me was the decor. The ambience was very cozy for me to get comfortable.<br/><br/>Food:<br/>Gunpowder potato - Ordinary. Couldn't observe any kind of taste in it<br/><br/>Chilli cheese kulcha - too good for cheese lovers. A pinch of spicyness made it so delicious.<br/><br/>Ghost pepper wings - best of the lot . A well cooked food that had the taste of all sorts. Personally liked the domination of spicyness. Go for it!<br/><br/>Goan prawn biriyani - prawn was cooked well and the masalas were quite different from the usual and it added a drooly flavour to the recipe.<br/><br/>Service:<br/>This is where these guys have to work on. Even though I was not made to wait longer, I couldn't see the waiters smiling or serving with pleasure which are actually the most important factor. The food, ambience and service was excellent. People who loves North Indian cuisine just close the eyes and walk in you have got lot of variety. I have to say do try the starter spicy pahadi mushrooms.. it was so delicious and I remember the taste forever. Where my friends both veggie and non vegetarians enjoyed it.

The first thing you notice is the excellent ambience this place got. You will definitely appreciate it. Coming to the food, it’s not really up to the hype. The quality of the food was excellent and seems way more healthier than your average restaurant. But taste of the items was more on the bland side rather than any signature taste. Even the menu itself was very limited, offering hardly one two choices for any food you desire. Also, even though the price is a bit on the higher side, the small portions served make them even more expensive. The service was really bad during our visit, but it might be because of the rush due to new year occasion. Overall, not a place for people looking just for the food. Worth a try just to experience the ambience.

The ambience is restro themed and we liked it....<br/><br/>Wrt the food we tried only the veg dishes. Right from the starters to main course everything tasted excellent. Every dish was worth the penny.<br/><br/>Should try the papad with 6 variety of pickles, panner dishes and Veg biryani. The mushroom chukka (don't remember the exact name) was the stand out.<br/><br/>All the staff members were friendly, courteous and super cool. You will have to pay 5percent of ur bill as service charges if you wish to. Considering the great service tat we received we went ahead and paid it...<br/><br/>They surprised us with a bread pudding as a complimentary for my daughter's birthday and made it a memorable one....<br/><br/>Will surely visit this restaurant again...<br/><br/>Cons<br/>Food quantity was not adequate<br/>Less options to choose from the menu..

Extremely brilliant decor... I would first like to talk about the service that was disappointing.. The restaurant had charged service tax which we rightfully requested to remove from the bill.. The waiter serving us changed his attitude immediately after that.. He was harsh... This was not expected from an elite restaurant...<br/><br/>Coming to the food, everything was good. we had Six chutney papad tokri ... It was very ordinary... The chutneys weren't anything amazing.. then came the spicy pahadi mushroom which was good..... Lucknowi paraath paneer supposed to have poppy seeds but tasted good... Chilli cheese kulcha was ok... Bombay lunch home veg curry and banana leaf rice could have been much better...<br/><br/>More than the food, the service made the experience worse and not worth the amount paid... Visited BB after quite some time. Lots of changes I noticed. Some for the better some not so. Water is no longer the earlier style soaked with lemons / orange etc. Menu has undergone changes some of the earlier tasty dishes dropped. Didn’t notice much of new additions as well. This was my second visit to the place. We came here on New year night. Though we didn't had reservation, they were very polite and accommodating and were provided with a table with 5-7min<br/><br/>Ambience - A very well lit, spacious place with quirky decorations like old vessels and stuffs that have it a nice antique look. The fairy lights were all around, making the place look amazingly romantic.<br/><br/>Food - We ordered lasooni naan, paneer tikka, roomali roti and chicken curry. All the dishes were very tasty. The paneer was very soft and melted in the mouth.<br/><br/>Service - It was good. Staff was polite and courteous. They were all smiles and made it a cheery place.<br/><br/>Price - This place is slightly expensive for the amount of food that's offered.<br/><br/>Overall a good place to come and celebrate special occasions.

The antique look of the interiors with well lit sitting areas, tall ceilings, and unique decors makes you love this place. The food is unique with a taste of originality of various parts of the country. Malabar Fish Curry and Kashmiri Kebab Naan are a must try. Slightly heavy on your pockets though but it is worth the experience.

Though I live in the other end of the city, I always try to make it a point to visit this outlet of Bombay Brasserie. The food is excellent and the flavours are mind blowing. The service is perfect and the staff are super helpful and patient. The speed of the service is also perfectly paced. Though I feel the prices are a tad bit on the higher side, I don't mind paying it for the quality of food.The dum biryani, the galouti kabab and chur chur paratha are amongst the best I have had in Chennai.

Ambience is good. This place has separate dining rooms in case you want to book a table for a private dinner with family or friends. We tried the paneer Sirka Pyaaza, Dhal makhni and Amritsari kulcha. The kulcha was very soft and the subzis were excellent. For dessert we had the Ras e Aam which is Rasogulla in rabdi with Alphonso mango pulp. This is one of the best desserts ever- it just melts in your mouth. Must try if you visit this place! This spot was chosen because of different varieties of cuisine they offer from different states in india. The food was excellent but I feel certain items on the menu which are overpriced. Everyone attended the event enjoyed the food..Mutton sheik kebab and their desserts were absolutely fabulous

Bombay Brassarie quality n service has dropped miserably since last my visit. The menu is hopeless with little to choose (very heavy n all torn up with every page coming out). Quantity is extremely inconsistent. Starters with only 4 pieces for Rs400. Cutlery is of aluminum (as if in jail), not expected from Fine dining restaurant. Finally quality is also very ordinary. Not worth the price they are charging. It shows when we went on Sunday lunch, it was hardly crowded with one group of 20 people.

Their desserts menu is wonderful! No harm in starting from the last meal while you are here. It's a good pick for a fancy/formal dinner with friends, family or colleagues. The staff is polite and helpful :) The food is delicious and looks great!

A restaurant with Pleasant ambience that serves great food. Must try - kasmiri naan kebab, goan prawn biryani, Indian breads, bombay dabba ghost. The items are quite pricy but for the quality and the unique flavour that each dish has, I would definitely pay the price. The problem that I found was that the mocktails are not worth the money but the food makes up for the mocktails . Courteous staffs.<br/>P.S. Go with a proper Foodie(the ones who can distinguish flavours) to have a great experience.

As all pointed out, the ambience is unique in Chennai and nice place if you look to have a bit of privacy during dining. The food is very well cooked and presented. In starter we ordered paneer and fish item.. I loved the chutney that they gave along the dish..In main course we ordered chicken which was aptly marinated. The price is bit on higher end and not at all value for money.I would recommend the place if you are looking for experience and good food.

we actually went as a team around 9of us were there, the ambience was very peaceful and well maintained. We started with non veg starters and tried naga chicken pepper fry, Andhra chicken, tandoori, fish fry, etc, but I would say every dish was amazing in their own way, especially the fish fry it was too crispy. The Andhra chicken was little dry, Though the quantity didn't go in correlation with the price, but still you don't get that feeling mainly because of their presentation and the taste. Then we shifted towards main course where we ordered the most popular dish of them, the chicken Tikka butter masala with some chur chur parathas which by the way tasted amazing. On the other side my vegetarian friends ordered romalli roti and panner gravy which was tasty too. Totally the ambience is too good for dinner especially, the food is too tasty for tummy and the cost is little higher than usual.
