Taste was literally awesome.Service at its best.. Staffs were so courteous...Excellent service.. :)
I can keep writing as they have a really long menu. Little Italy again brings the best of Italian food in Chennai. Be it the Starters, Breads, Pasta, Pizza, Lasagna you get a tasty bite every time. But this ain't cheap to better have a heavy wallet. One for special occasions and get together. I'd definitely Recommend it!
Tried their buffet
To start off:
Both the starters and pizza were not hot and the starting meal left much to be desired. The soup which they served too was sub par.
But they made it up with an extremely tasty pasta, cake and ice cream.
The buffet could be worth it if the meals are hot.
We had the lunch buffet here .. liked the fact that they had unlimited welcome drink also.... I missed the icecream counter sue to the layout ... icecream should be kept near the desserts
Little Italy, Nungambakkam is where I go whenever I want soul food. :)
We’ve been going here forever (I even used to have a notepad where I jotted down the codes of the things we ordered, so that I would get to cover the whole menu completely over time). I’m happy to say that we’ve been here so many times that I have only the pizza section and fruits section left — the pizza section hasn’t been completed only because I’m the only one in my family who likes pizza, and it’s hard to single handedly finish it.
While this place is not wallet friendly, the staff is always courteous and polite, and the quality of food has remained excellent for several years now. I truly enjoy eating here, and I miss the days when I wasn’t dieting as much as I do today! :D
(It gets really crowded during the weekends; you’ve been warned.)
I look forward to eating at Little Italy, Nungambakkam soon!
A good place for pure vegetarian , Italian Food lovers.
Their buffet has a decent spread. I loved the bread based pizzas and the bruschetta.
I have been here a couple of times and if it is full, it tends to get noisy. That being said, it is a place preferred by large groups and popular with Mom's having birthday parties.

Little Italy had the first branch in nugambakkam high road... One of the finest Italian cuisine in Chennai by long way. Though its fully VEG its a must visit place. Now they have opened branches in Teynampet, Anna nagar and Besant nagar. Its always on elite list for a repeat.
Must try and my Fav ones are the cannelloni, thin caressed pizza, cheese basket and ravioli. White sauced pastas are my top likes here.
Another major highlight here is the desserts. I just fall in love with the chocolate bomb- Just out of the world. Others like the chocolate mousse cake and sizzling walnut brownie is sure shot try. Tiramisu was tried by my counterpart. They do have a good line up of mock tails. Off late after opening new branches the pricing is on the higher side.
Little Italy has been my go to place over the years. Favorite picks are the eggplant, cannelloni, pizza Bianca, Cheese fondue, chocolate bomb and tiramisu. Service is a bit sluggish. Prices have increased off late.
This has always been a happy hunting ground for us all for past many many years and very happy to see that the quality of food has not gone down at all in anyway.. I should however say that the quantity surely has taken a hit 😊. Also the place seems to be a bit run down owing to the age and they need to keep that up

Food was awesome and different but the only minus us too much cheese in all the cuisines.
Lasagne was great,It would be better if you can provide more variety in Deserts, especially Ice creams
Final Verdict :Worth the try
I was craving cheese fondue from little Italy. Me and my cousin reached her in the late afternoon and we kind of had a feeling that we had a dim lit snack time.
We had cheese fondue, which was sooo much for two people. We also had ravioli once which was scrumptious. I love visiting here often for these. Best italian cuisine they have doing justification to their name.

Nice food and soothing, calm place to enjoy watching relaxed dinner.
Food tasted very good.
The custom made Ravioli was a bit salty rest all was good.
We were given a complimentary dessert which was also yummy.
The nachos with cheese sauce is yummmm
This place is real bliss. The perfect place for a brunch, lunch, bruner, dinner!! The buffet as well as alla carte is perfect. The staffs are very cooperative and friendly. Cosy ambience. Love this place. definetly the FAV.
Almost 3 decades old, this chain of restaurants has really good Italian food to offer! 2 of us headed here for dinner and were at first taken aback by the simple, non charming interiors of this restaurant at Nungambakkam! But the crowd and the waiting period seemed to validate the quality of food being served here!
The menu has names of dishes that we couldn't comprehend! We ordered the Pasta barbaresca and the garden pizza.
The servings were sumptuous and filling!
The flavor of the basil leaves on the pizza was amazing! The pasta sauce lived up to the expectation!
A pizza and a pasta can fill 3 people substantially!
Apart from the ambience and the slightly high prices, its definitely worth a visit!

Visited this place sometime back. Had ordered red wine, corn cheese balls, cheese fondue and sphagetti. Flavours were absolutely amazing. The decor was good too. Staff were well-mannered. We didnt have to wait too long for our food to be served. Eclectic flavours ! Would definitely recommend a second visit !
The first time I came here, over five years ago, I was a bit skeptical about a vegetarian Italian restaurant that my cousin and her family took me to. Howeverrrrr they serve up some real good authentic dishes!
I love an authentic pizza, and they've got it here. Thin-crust, slathered in cheese with a great pull, and just so good! The second time I went, on purpose, was for the lunch buffet (around ₹500) and it was so much fun. Right from a juice to a hearty soup du jour, to crispy and cheesy nachos, right down to the piece de resistance - unlimited authentic pizza, and so much more.. can't get any better tbh.
The folks here are amazing, very observant and extremely helpful and friendly. 5/5 for food, service, and overall experience!
I have been a regular visitor to little Italy for the past few years. It’s my go-to place for Italian food. It also offers select items from Mexican cuisine. Opted for a buffet this time.
I loved the cheesy herbed garlic bread and hummus and pita for starters. They also had some olive based starter which I liked. The baby corn longs were run of the mill. The veg quesadilla was cheesy and delicious. However, I didnt like the risotto that much.
For main course, I chose pasta with Alfredo sauce. It was loaded with veggies but was slightly bland. So I added some oregano and chilli flakes to make it more flavourful. Then, I chose the Napoli pizza which was absolutely lipsmacking. Liked that it was cheesy and fiery at the same time. The crust was thin and crispy, just the way I like it.
Finally, for dessert , had the Caramel custard, brownie with ice cream and some pastries.
On previous visits, I have liked the cheese balls, chocolate bomb, Mexican rice , lasagna, Sicilia and Mellino pizza.
I would say only one thing they serve authentic Italian food. Very good ambience. They food is top notch. Priced at a higher end. But its worth it. If you are looking for Italian food. This is the place.
This review is based on their lunch buffet, ignoring the a la carte. Authentic Italian food with a little Mexican touch from a few dishes. Love the live pasta counter and the variety of amazing starters!
Very good Italian food. The varieties are vast only during the weekend . I loved the cheese Lasagne and the Pita bread with hummus. They also have Pasta counters with our choice of toppings. The desserts are mouth watering and especially the Chocolate Bomb.
One of the best pizzeria's in town. The potato skins are brilliant and it's relieving to find a place with so many options for vegatations! The dessert is fab too!
Only based on what I ordered:
Just went for having dessert, chocolate bomb and it was amazing. And they have live screening of sports. Both just made the night.
Service was good too.
Pasta, Lasagne and pizza were very good
Customer service was good and friendly too
Maybe more variety was lacking in my point of view
Overall liked my visit and will recommend it to someone who wanna try Italian food
Pasta parimavera tastes good. I opted for a wheat pasta, a healthier version😉. Little Italy Restaurant really serves great taste. It is must visit place for an Italian food.
Authentic Italian Vegetarian Restaurant
The best part is this is a vegetarian restaurant that serves authentic Italian dishes. This is a small cozy place with dim lit ambiance. The dishes are really authentic and they serve wide range of Italian and even Mexican dishes starting from nachos, bruschetta, pasta,Lasagna, risotto and pizzas. Ravioli Pasta is just yum and my favorite. Thin crust pizza is definitely crispy loaded with wide variety of toppings. Everything is so delicious, cheesy and authentic. The portion size is also huge and can be consumed by 4 people easily. They also offer buffet with live pasta counter which is a must try.

Great taste for Italian cuisine.. Buffet during the noon is probably one of the best that you can have.. Live pasta counters were amazing as well.
Absolute italian veg restaurant.. The cheese fondue is must try.. Nachos with cheese was good.. chocolate bombs was out of the world.. one of the finest restaurants in the city
This place gives you an amazing authentic buffet to engross yourself in. Pasta with White sauce brings life to this buffet and do not miss to taste the Variety of breads that they offer as a starter. It's Cost effective and good deal. Do try!
Go Get Great 😍😍
The ambience is lovely. Its classic and spacious. As for the food the pastas were delicious. They are cooked in authentic Italian style complimented with great red wine. Notable mention would be their creamy mashed potatoes. The service was good and would frequent this place whenever I feel like having Italian ♥
Well well well.... It is really difficult for me to write a review about this restaurant coz the food they serve is just delicious which takes you on cloud nine.
First of all being a pure vegetarian restaurant they serve a variety of Italian dishes..
We started with some mushroom fry and garlic bread.
The options in the menu did made us think for a long time as to what we should order.
And finally we ordered a white sauce pasta, cheese fondue and a chefs special pizza.
Yes they do have a special pizza which can be customized as per our taste and need.
The cheese fondue was lip smacking and every veggie dip went inside the stomach like slik.
The kiwi punch mocktail was quite refreshing and then the desserts was chocolate bomb. Aptly done right to the name the bomb was indeed mind blowing. A hot brownie stuffed with hot chocolate accompanied with vanilla ice cream.
However I feel that the cheese fondue quantity was a bit less and the restaurant will feel heavy on your pockets.
It's is definitely Rs 1500/- for 2 people approx.
One of the best food destinations for vegetarians! Ambiance and customer service is good. I chose buffet but I would advise you to choose a la carte 'coz buffet does not serve you many different varieties of pizza. You will get to taste only one or two pizza varieties in case of buffet. We can choose our own ingredients for pasta and it's a must try one. Delicious and pocket friendly :)
Little italy was on my wish list for quite a long time. Finally visited this place with my friend. Ordered cheese nachos, pizza, cheese corn balls and sizzling brownie. The food was quite delicious. Will definitely visit this place again.

Visit - Once - with friends!
Ambiance, parking and staff-courtesy - ( 0.9 / 1.0 ) - Glossy, calm ambiance inside the quaint Eldorado building. Spacious and neat. Enough parking space available inside the building. Staff was polite to right extent.
Cost for Food - ( 0.2 / 0.5 ) - Over priced! Thanks to GST for dropping to 5%. Else your bill will be a sky rocket!
Starters (Veg / NonVeg) - ( 1.8 / 2.0 ) - Cheese Fondue - Awwww! Hot cheese was perfect with fresh vegetables and bread. We also had Herbs Garlic bread ( Better than the ones I have tasted so far), and Nachos with cheese sauce (Nachos tasted kinda Indian muruku - but the flavored cheese overcame it). On the soups, we tried Crema di funghi (Rich creamy - but had very small chunks of mushroom rather than pieces) and Zuppa di broccoli (Pure bliss - if you are a broccoli lover!)
Main Course - ( 0.8 / 1.0 ) - We only had couple of pizzas. Exotic Pizza (Thin crust, where edges were little over burnt - but tasted good) and Pizza Napoli with extra cheese and normal crust (No words! )
Deserts ( 0.5 / 0.5 ) - Everything was perfect. Fruit punch (fresh juicy fruit salad), chocolate bombs (Wow! Mouth watery chocolate sauce inside baked cake went perfect with vanilla icecream) and "Tiramisu Italiano" (Out of the world!) made our day!
Total - 0.9 + 0.2 + 1.8 + 0.8 + 0.5 = 4.2 !! (~4.0)
Little Italy - Little Indian! ;-)
Amazing food! My all time favorite is P26 Tabasco pizza!! Whether u r planning to hang out with friends n family or with ur office colleagues.. this place is perfect for all outings! We had coincidentally visited the place on their 9th anniversary so v got 200 Rs off after spinning the wheel! Yayy!
Great ambience. Had a great time with food.Had the Tabasco Bloody Mary which was something pretty different but worth it.
Pizza Napoli was great.A bit on the expensive side.
Went on Friday night ,didn't need to book a table so happy with that.
Would like to try the buffet on Sunday.
Italian ? Vegetarian ? Close your eyes and go here.. they serve the best Italian dishes in town.. the cannelloni, lasagne and gnocco are dishes to definitely try.. the cheese fondue is out of the world. Love the service here.. very friendly and nice staff. Very good pizzas and mocktails.. deserts are good too. Slightly expensive but worth it !!
First of all, seeing zomato thought there would be buffet available for sat dinner. But its not. Zomato has to be updated.
It was a frequent visit place for me couple of years back. After couple of years, I visited Little Italy to check whats new in there. Absolutely nothing new than the menu card with sky rocketing prices.
With GST to add on, the prices are out of the universe.
Coming to food, there are no complaints. Every item, from starters to desserts was so delicious and mouth watering.
Service needs to be little improved, as they keep talking to each other without noticing what the customer wants. As the crowd gets coming in, the dishes take more time to reach your table.
COST : 800-1000 per person
Simpily italian😍 whenever you reach there you ll experience a soulful experience of tasting the authentic veg Italian.. lemonicetea# nachos# ravioli #bluberry cake are my favourites..
Place is awesome! Pizza was thin crust, yet cheesy. Service could have been faster. Juices are a must-try. Overall experience was very good!
Situated in the heart of Nungambakkam , the little Italian restaurant, has everything from Italian to Spanish under one roof. Vegetarian but deliciously lip- smacking food. Healthy and yet so yummy.
The most favorite of all will definitely be Pace Di Potato, Supreme Nachos, Pasta del Baronea and Primavera.
Verdict:
I have by far never ever given a 5 on 5 to any restaurant, But this way did beat it, the service, food is perfect as they say. Thank you for making us want to come again and again. The lip- smacking food and the chef himself making a point to come and look at us enjoying the food was the cheery on the top. Thank you Pradeep sir.

For three people it would come up to 1500 apporx.
Who doesn't like little Italy. It's too late to write about this place. But anyhow, I had tried their weekday lunch buffet which is priced at 500 plus taxes, not sure if it's the same. Trust me, the spread is no less and compensates every penny. If you're someone with good appetite you're going to love it. The spread includes breads, tortillas with variety dips, croissants , garlic breads , different pizzas on rotation , lasagne / risotto (baked pasta) , live pasta counter , mocktail, and desserts like brownie , cheesecakes and ice cream. Yes. All this UNLIMITED for 500 so 😍
From their a la carte menu the must try's are nachos , arrabita pasta, aglio olio , pizza , chocolate bomb and tiramisu which is a bliss.
Staff here are courteous and friendly. The items on the buffet were being refilled on time and hot. An average meal for two here costs about 1500. But the buffet be the best.

Have been to this place a few times , the restaurant has amazing food and though I feel the lighting is a bit sad . The service is good. They provide you blankets if you feel cold. The Italian experience is decent .
Best Vegetarian Italian Restaurant with so much of variety. I really loved this place. The service, quantity, quality was perfect. The ambience was good too.
Since I am from Delhi, never expected Italian restaurants to be completely vegetarian. Please do come to Delhi. You are much needed there too. Overall best. :)
Had to choose between Buffet and A la carte.
Went with buffet. Limited items to choose from but they tasted great.
If they can add to the buffet menu would be great.
Live pasta counter was the differentiator.
Such great food! The service is also great! My mom doesn't eat onion and garlic and they always are ready and willing to customise anything to suit our taste. Love this place. Their raviolis are great and I love the blue heaven (which is what I think it's called). It is definitely a must have.
Amazing food.Do try out their buffet which serves an assortment of pastas, pizzas and desserts.Nice ambience as well!Would recommend everyone to visit this place! :)
Wonderful place.. always great consistent food. Jain options fantastic.
Anyone knows when are their lunch buffet days?
Some say it's weekend. But I once went on a weekday..
If you wish to have Italian cuisine , this place will definitely leave you wanting to come again. One of the best Italian restaurants in Chennai. We opted for the weekend buffet with a wide spread of options which had fresh juice, salads, pita bread with hummus, tomato and olive bruschetta , pizza , live pasta counter , enchiladas with corn , Lasagne , Risotto , desserts and much more. Priced decent enough for the delicious food, hospitable staff overall a weekend spent deliciously.

If you are looking for a right place to try out Italian delicacies, then head right away to Little Italy! Became a big fan of this place right from my first visit.. My entire family are!
The Cheese fondue, Nachos, Quesadillas and the wood burn pizzas are too good to miss. The nice cosy ambience and the authentic Italian cuisine make it one of the best restaurants in Chennai.

Love this place for their pastas and pizzas. Quality never comes down and their service is great as usual.

Little italy has never disappointed us. Have been to all their branches and this has to be the best. We opted for the weekend buffet spread. Started off with a watermelon juice. Was cold and refreshing. Dint like the soup, just no flavor. Salads, nachos and all the other starters were awesome. Pizza was great, was served hot. There was risotto, surely not authentic, was mostly cakey. Lasagna was the best. I have had it on every visit and it tasted the same. Yet have never got bored. After all this you hardly have any appetite for the pasta. They have a live pasta station. I had a small portion, all vegetables in white sauce... Was yummy!! .. Thats it, my tummy could take no more.
Usually i am not very excited about the dessert in a buffet, but i wanted to try it out so i can give out a complete zomato review :D me and hubby decided to share and took one serving of every item in the dessert section. And oh boy how i regret sealing my stomach with the pasta :( it did blow my mind. Every single dessert tasted awesome. I wonder why there was no ice Cream though, or did i just miss it??
A fun sunday lunch. Thumbs up!!
Very good food with good service n friendly staff n good ambience will really like to visit here again@gulab sonu Niru santosh. Peaceful place and no more words to describe
Personal recommendation if you wish to try Italian. One of the most authentic Italian restaurants in Chennai which serves unbelievable buffet lunch containing a variety of dishes ranging from appetizers to desserts abundantly. Priced at 750 for a person is a bit expensive buffet but you wouldn't find the difference once relished.

Ordered a Nawabi pizza, garlic bread with herb and cheese, nachos with cheese spread and mojito... The pizza was really good... garlic bread was nice, the bread was fresh but however nachos could have been better...
AMBIENCE - was nice but a bit dull.. little more lightning would have been good..
Overall the food was satisfying...

My second visit to Little Italy @ Nungambakkam. This time with family for dinner.
We ordered Caprese salad, Sundried tomato + olive bruschetta and special tacos for starter, Lasagna Napoletana with veggies and Pasta 4 stagioni for mains.
Food as usual was excellent, but was disappointed on 2 counts - (a) the caprese salad did not have fresh mozzarella and (b) they did not have asparagus (would have loved to have the cream of asparagus zuppa/ soup).
Service was fantastic, seating was comfortable and ambience is one for the minimalist.
A good place to be for Italian food... Suggest to book the table before going to the place ... We had ordered cheese nachoes which was good and cheesy except the capsicums put for garnishing.. The thin crust wood burn pizza "Fantasy" was amazingly prepared.. the red sauce pasta was not up to the mark... It was quite dry & bland with little tangy lingering taste.. The mocktail - lemon mint that we ordered was pathetic.. the dessert chocolate bomb was worth because of the hot chocolate oozing out of the cake..
