Best Kaju Katli's in the world are made here, I do acknowledge there are few notable worthy shops who can compete, but Shree Mithai's Kaju Katli is the best.
For every family or official occasion, I will never missed to add these to the menu. If you are in doubt about the quantity you can always get an additional 250gms pre-packed box for sharing, it will serve about 15 pieces give or take.
If there is any sudden meeting, birthday function etc, I would recommend this crowd-pleaser and the only thing is you will never get enough of it and people will go even for fourth time. So better stack up in excess.
Do not refrigerate them, keep them in room temperature.
The Bhel Puri is really good here. Right amount of Spices.

We have been going here for over a decade. The quality, taste service is always great.
Don't expect ambience etc. It's a crowded place on any day of the week and very crowded on weekends. Yet, food service is super fast on all days.
Kudos to the management for maintaining the quality and standards.

Earlier it use to be a self service restaurant and now it is table service.
I have been here plenty of times and the place keeps getting better.
My recommendations-
Paneer Pizza- soft base, easy to bite and tender chunks of paneer.
Suji(rawa)Pani puri- Served with 6 puris in a sealed pack, with mashed potatos, sweet and chilli water separate.
Chole Bathura- a huge size soft puri served with spicy chole, pickle and onion salad.
Papdi chat- loaded with curd, chutneys and crisp papdi, not too spicy nor too sweet.
Bhel puri- the first ever chat food that I had was this and I still like the way they make it here.
Quick service and clean place. Staff is also polite.
They provide valet parking and drinking water dispenser as an additional service.
Must visit.
You should try their sweets.
Cottage cheese pizza taste very nice. As well as badam milk. Kaju katli is very tasty. It is the best ever kaju katli which I have ever eat.

We visited Shree Mithai on a weekday night, yet the place was crowded and we had to wait for a few minutes to find a seat to dine.
The quality of the food is great especially the Chaat. We had Pav Bhaji, Sev Puri, Dahi Puri and a Grilled Club Sandwich. I would recommend you to try the Chaat and sweets in Shree Mithai.
The Pav Bhaji was not as spicy as I thought it would be, and tasted good. As for the Chaat, I'd give it five stars! The club Sandwich tasted great too.

I’ve ordered snacks lots of times from here. This time I visited and had pani puri, dahi papdi, Dhokla and spring rolls. You will miss Delhi a little less if you eat here in Chennai. Everything was just great, and worth your time and money.
Shree mithai is famous for their milk sweets and pan Indian tiffin type food. I personally like their rasamalai, kaju katli and milk halwa. Also they have best chola pooris. The ambience in chetpet outlet was good. Also they have enough tables for dine-in.
By far the best place I know for Indian sweets. The sweets are impeccable and decadent.The quality is what makes shree mithai outstanding. The place is always crowded.But definitely worth the wait and rush.

Food : we had the bhel Puri and cold badam milk. Both the beverage and the chaat was really nice and we'll portioned.
Service : it's a self service place and the food comes quiet cook and is maintained neatly as well.
The pav Bhajji here is amazing, there’s chola puri 5/5, Dahi puri, pani puri is ok ok because they serve the pani extremely chill, sorta kills the flavour. Their mysur pak is great, I buy my white bread, brown bread and milk from here. It’s really good. Amazing ambience! Quick service.

Very good place to try Chaat items.. Visited the restaurant several times.. their dhokla are very good. They serve good pav bhaaji. Dahi aloo tikki,bhel poori are my frequent items here.. basundi, rasa Malai will be good.. they do serve thick badam milk..

It is a decent joint. A worthy competitor in chaats to Gangotree. They of course try to optimize cost and you end up getting your order very late when you order through Zomato but barring that, its good.
The Chole Bature are lovely. Spicy and oily, not for the faint hearted! But hits the spot. The Pav Bhaji is strictly OK. The chaats are decent, I would still give an extra star to Gangotree for their taste.

Ah this place! Undoubtedly one of the best options in the city satisfy sweet cravings. Their kaju katli is to die for! The ever busy place is always quick on their service and the staff are always helpful. Their savory snacks too are yummy! The highlight dishes of the place is their kaju katli and methi laddus.
This is one of my fav places in chennai ! Lots of varieties and bang on taste ! This time i tried south indian and i was not disappointed at all ! Loved their special south indian meal and ofcourse the aloo pyaz paratha ! A must visit !

I have to say that pani puri was not that great! I felt the 'pani' part was little diluted.
Quite impressed by the packaging. It was cute and hygienic. The pav bhaji was great. The bhujiya sandwich had a ting of spiciness, the combination of boiled aloo with green chutney and cucumber gave it a divine taste :D

Order long jamun 40rs(inclusive of delivery charge). Nice tastes. Correct amount of sugar syrup. But jamun is little hard compared to homemade.

Located on the Dr T.V road with ample exclusive parking the outlet resembles any other outlet with similar type of food...Sweets and savories in display racks a chaat counter along with dining space of 30 odd ppl...Neat and well maintained..Service is quick and prompt and thats about it...
Specializing in sweets which in my opinion is the best in chennai..The Chaat items are really good and fresh here...My favorite at this place is the Chole batoore which IMO is the best in chennai...Perfect in everything...The Vada pav and Bread pakoda are the next in list..Must try...
