Being connect with this Group of restaurants more than a year but I never got a chance to have a meal here at VaPho, last night I had a chance to visit this place with my sister. I was like Omg the taste and quality, the fish ball soup-it's took me back to KL, I swear on God the taste was so similar! No doubt about the service, they are always Ace! Best wishes Team!

Yummy Creamy – AWWW, you beauty!! Best drink with smooth mango lassi with a hint of spicy chilly; the frothiness along with the kick from chilly as it strolls down the throat was WOOHOO!!
Rangoon Princess – Guava and lemonade with a sweet-tart flavour; the grenadine supplemented the fruits well, too much ice though
Taiwanese 3 cup Chicken – A tender saucy meat with hints of crunchiness from the nuts and vermicelli; couldn’t ask for a better starter owing to its sweet/sour flavour in spots
Kam Heong Broccoli – Damn good and crunchy broccoli sautéed in an equally good masala; though it was of the Malay style, it was pretty much ASIAN
Zucchini Dim sums – Almost a samosa shaped soft and flavourful dim-sum; no hint of spice but was smooth, creamy and fresh
Crispy spicy fish Bao & Spicy tofu Bao – Best and soft bao buns I’ve ever had; the filling was sumptuous with no signs of frills; while the former was more on the crunchy side, the latter was on the kicky side
Spicy Malay Noodles – Tasted kind of typical with coconutty flavour; wasn’t very spicy yet soft and just okay with the sweet chilli sauce
Burmese Falooda – Usual dessert with loads of ice-cream, fruits and basil seeds; though it had lesser milk, it was quite good on the whole
Chocolate Mousse – A mousse turned to a birthday cake (complimentary); wicked sweet, soft and so rich; straight from the kitchen
Ambience/Price:
Parking could be a little concern since the place is located in a narrow street; the ambience and service was our favourite since they wore a smile all the time. Didn’t take much of waiting time for dishes; the quirky décor/setup too was very flashy.
Price was OKAY, neither here nor there but can definitely visit at least occasionally.

The va pho rice was really good. And so were the noodles. Really good ambience. Very sweet waiters. They have games to play. Overall it was really nice.
Ambience is good and customer services was excellent.foods are served with great smile ..chilly beef bao and dimsum charisu chicken was very good especially dimsum flavour with three different types of sauces is extremely mouth watering a must try. Korean beef(bulgogi) was good...but felted quantity was lil less for the price. Rangoon princess was really tastes good . Singaporean char noodles with mixed meat is okay not that great..And coming to dessert we ordered Burmese falooda and we regret ordering it ....it is total waste of money.

One of those dinners where food was so yummy that we gorged on the starters, got so stuffed that we had to give the main course a miss, and head to desserts! Been thinking for quite some time to visit this place and finally, it happened as we had our extended family visit us from Bengaluru. We walked in quite late around 21:30 Hrs, the place was quite packed at that time. Lucky to get a table right away. I knew that there was a Vietnamese Food festival happening there and I was quite excited because I have experienced the flavors of Vietnam at Benjarong twice earlier when Chef Ramkumar had invited me to the food festival. So I couldn’t wait to try at least a couple of dishes this time from their a la carte menu!

One of my best memories created place this is. Ambience was cool and different with local effect. Staffs were very friendly and courteous. Food taste was good to enjoy. The day we went crowd was limited but tables available was filled so it was like neither crowded nor empty situation which gave a feel like you were in a isolated place and thoroughly enjoying your food. We are vegetarians but we had made attempt to taste most of the varieties available. The portions of food and cost was almost perfect. A must try place if you are looking for different food experience.
Have been going more than three times here I loved the food here that's why.
I stick to the starters rather than main course, I go for bao buns, salad, satay, lotus stem etc.,
I would recommend, to give a try the menu has a mix of excellent dishes, and the staff are very polite and friendly.
surprisingly good for a chain - the menu is extensive, I was in the mood for noodles and tried the lo mein - I like my noodles with sauce and not dry.
Highly recommend this dish - difficult to get rice noodles right and especially in a sort of place that serves food fast.... highly recommended

Va Pho was just across the road from my hotel - its a chain that does asian food - a mix of chinese, vietnamese, malaysian etc. Malaysian, Indionesian food is similar in some ways to Indian food - particularly south Indian with gravies for vegetables with coconut and spices.
This is a very casual place, not too expensive and food is hearty - full of flavor and big portions. Though they had a lot of interesting dishes on the menu - I went with Lo Mein, a Philipino dish of noodles with spicy sauce, thin and veggies..... Spicy and sour with hits of coconut and phudina, lemon grass and very good.
Highly recommend this place - good food, fun environment and not too expensive.

the food was amazing, little else need be said. if you have some money to spare, this is the place you should try out. the service is absolutely delightful and the waiters know enough about the dishes they are serving to recommend the best choices for your tastes. just go in and tell them what you feel like eating and they'll be able to help you out.
An awesome destination for Asian cusine, which is pocket friendly and doesn't burn your pocket much. Friendly staff, suggest their signature dishes based on our preference. Must try are bao , Momo they are simply amazing. I enjoyed the food and the ambience . But with that expectation I went to their Sunday brunch offering. In one simple word is to avoid that because it's completely in contrast to their Al a carte spread. Service was slow, food was not great. So Va pho pls visit for their Al a carte and simply avoid Sunday brunch .

Milo drink 🥤 awesome as always!!! We ordered a couple of small plates Nd large plates. Loved the Phuket beef Satay, Va pho Prawns. The chicken wings were finger licking good, crispy and slightly sweettttt..
Saigon Pho is the chicken broth with flat noodles, chicken and loads of fresh onions. It did taste nice and simple with various textures unlike creamy soups.
Nasi Goreng was good. Malay noodles 🍝 was yummy..
Unfortunately we did not have more space in our stomach for any dessert.
We were playing uno during the waiting time.
The service was well planned and executed we received our food right on time just as we finished on dish after the other , in spite of the overwhelming crowd.

Hands down my favourite place for Asian food. Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious. I liked the shrimp dumplings, mee goreng and of course the Saigon pho. I like the fact that they consistently deliver good food every time. Will definitely recommend it!

▪️Desserts - Leche flan - it’s a Filipino style caramel custard which was my most favorite and I’d go for the buffet just for this one dish

I had sworn to myself that for this Chennai visit, I'll only have authentic Chennai Food. But then sometimes convenience gets precedence and we end up going to the places which are nearby. Va Pho was one such case which was the nearest restaurant to the place we stayed at. Now the restaurant is on the 2nd floor but the entry is from the ground floor. The ground floor seems deserted and hence it seemed like the place was closed. In the actual restaurant, the story was different. Lively ambience brining that mix of Asian culture with vintage Indian prop. What deserved a special mention was the staff. It was easily one of my best experiences as a customer at a restaurant. Luckily, we had also landed there on their once in a month 50% off day.
We had the Barbecue chicken Bao, Chicken Green Thai curry and two mocktails Blue Moon and Milo. Blue Moon tasted like your regular fizzy blue drink but the Milo based drink was something unique. One of us had accidentally spilled the Blue Moon with almost the whole of it. The staff did not even make a face and they were kind enough to replace it without us asking for a replacement. Now that is what service is. The Barbecue chicken bao was pretty good. Soft Bao with an array of sauces and sufficient quantity of chicken. The Thai curry was decent. I've had better Thai curry but this was decently good. No complains.
Overall, an amazing place which is hidden from plain sight because it's a bit disconnected from the main road. Go there on their offer day for amazing value for money dining. The menu is well made and it is definitely worth a visit.

Been wanting to try this place for sometime and finally managed to do the same few days ago. The place has an uber cool and chic ambience with bright colours and great wall art. The staff are very welcoming and courteous and overall it was a very pleasant experience.
Our orders were the Indonesian Beef Rendang curry with coconut rice, Glass noodles and beef with lemongrass,both of which were among the house specials and to wash them down,the Milo Dyno and Lychee Watermelon mocktail. The beef rendang curry with coconut rice was simply yum and beef was of melt in the mouth soft texture,cooked well and the coconut rice being the perfect side. The glass noodles and beef with lemongrass was amazeballs and was the perfect combo.
For the desserts, we chose the Mung bean cake and it was served with a scoop of ice cream and cut fruits. Was a nice finish to the already perfect dinner. They have these monthly discounts which they run for people born in that particular month and also other offers, which makes it a cool option during the month end crunch. The prices are not way too steep,for that matter anyway. A must try place for everyone.
It was a saturday night excursion to Va Pho @vaphofundine. Quirky colorful interiors, delicious food with some Jenga and good music to boot!
For starters we ordered the chillI tofu satay, baby potatoes tossed in chillI and soya sauce and some Malay style crispy broccoli.
For our main course, we had the bao with a spicy tofu filling, Singaporean char kwaytiew and kungpao vegetables with some Va pho style rice.
And finally for dessert, we had this giant bowl of ice cream on a brownie-Oreo-cookie base and topped with sprinkles and gems! Except for the dessert, food was top notch and total value for money. Definite keeper of a restaurant!

VaPho is a Pan Asian Restaurant and I think is one of the best in Chennai! They’ve got a varied range of dishes in their menu which are authentic yet tasty! They have introduced a couple of new dishes which includes Bao, momos to drinks which taste amazing! The ambience is super apt for the food they provide and over all a great value for money as well! The quantity they serve is good too!

Va Pho is my go-to asian restaurant. It is considerably low that its other counterparts, but taste wise they are really great. Nasi goreng, iced milo, chicken satay and their baos are to die for
The Baos here are the best. I fell in love with the ambience and the hospitality. It takes a little long for food to reach your tables but not to worry if you are with friends cos you can chill and play Jenga or other games. So it's a perfect place to hangout with friends. Also make sure to reach a little early during peak hours for it gets really busy and is difficult to find a table.

Must visit. It's a nice cozy place in R.K. Salai. Their soups are awesome especially one with the chicken broth. Momos can be avoided but the rest of the inventory is great. Parking is a bit hassle but it's worth the visit.

Great food, ambience and service. The place is a bit small for peak times but they more than make up for it with the food. The bbq mushroom bao was wow. All of their dishes had something or the other going for them. The desserts are really interesting and sort of light on the stomach.
Some lip smacking Asian dishes on the menu. Being a foodie we tried out some signature dishes of different places which were all good.
The ambience also sets up the mood for having a good treat for yourself.

Gang gang gang..... This place was really my suggestion for the past 5 outings of mine with friends.. But never went here once.. And so finally today went here with 3 others for lunch..... All are veggies 😂 so no non veg food is reviewed..
1st impressions - the places' entry seemed a bit cramped and was wondering how the interior space would be.. But its spacious and I guess it can seat like 50 people easily.
The ambience was colorful and with some music in the background.. It was luckily not much crowded..
My next feeling being a vegetarian was that there was some kind of peculiar smell or idk if its an aroma surrounding in the restaurant's atmosphere which I felt a bit awkward.
Coming to the food part, I am gonna mention our order and my rating on 10 (only my view) for each item..
1. Va pho mushroom - 9/10 - crispy and in honey chilly sauce
2. Saigon pho veg - 10/10.. best soup.. Loved it.. ❤️
3. Manchow soup - 8.5/10
4. Spicy bao tofu - 5/10 very average, not spicy at all and the stuffing of tofu was average.
5. Dimsums - zucchini and cream cheese - 9.5/10 - another ❤️
6. Sizzling noodles - 7.5/10 - huge portions.. Tasted okayish only.. The paneer satay was bad..
7. Khaosuay - 7/10 - it was more like a creamy coconut based sauce with lots of veggies, noodles and sides..
8. Bangkok mojito - 8.5/10 - bang on with ginger punch 👊

10. Tender coconut ice cream stick - 6/10 - didn't like it much. The ice cream stick as such didn't have any flavour. Felt it was just ice.. But the sago sauce underneath qith coconut was good..
11. Fried ice cream - 6.5/10 - too much coconut on the outer of the ice cream.. It had peanut bars.. Which was nice..
For all this the bill was Rs.2300/- which I feel is worth..
Kickass place.. Loved the food on the whole.. And I guess it's a great place for people who want to try some quality malay and Vietnamese food..

One of the best places in the city for Asian cuisine. Their desserts are super nice to taste and look at! Love their noodles and fried rice. They often have offers at this branch, so very easy on the pocket as well.

First of all, apologies for writing a super late review. I went to this place 2 weeks ago for dinner. We had Chicken Meegoreng, Chilly Basil Chicken Dimsums and Crispy Spicy Fish Bao. Review for this restaurant is explained as follows:-
A) Food:-
1. Chicken Meegoreng was absolutely perfect. It was restaurant recommended and it tasted amazing. We were told that it would be spicy. I'm usually into boldly spicy foods, but this had the perfect amount of spice and ingredients. It was well cooked and a fried egg on top of it was a really good touch to it.
2. The dimsums as the name indicated were good enough. Basil twist was a bit missing. But still it was pretty good. It tasted very fresh and I liked the variety of dips with it. Great pick.
3. The bao was absolutely amazing! It was my favourite. I tasted bao for first time and I absolutely loved it. Never had such an amazing Asian delicacy before.
B) Hospitality:-
If I had more than 5 stars to give it to the hospitality staff of the restaurant, I'd surely give! I loved the hospitality so much. Best part was, meanwhile you're waiting for the food, you can play board games, card games or Jenga! The restaurant is usually crowded, so we generally expect a higher waiting time. But I didn't face it at all. The food was served right on time. The staff is absolutely amazing here. Very subtle, very good hosts.
C) Hygiene:-
This place is very clean and very hygienic. The surroundings, cutlery, etc. I found everything cleaned up.
D) Ambience:-
I loved the ambience here. It had a nice touch of a casual dining ambience with a good Feng Shui and good lighting. I don't have idea about lunch time, but I absolutely loved having dinner in such a great ambience.
Summary:-
This place was way beyond my expectations and I can't find anything wrong with this place at all. It's an amazing place to go eat and have fun at the same time.

This place, though small in size, is definitely one of the best spots in Chennai in terms of food, ambience and it’s service.
Visited this place twice and wasn’t a tad bit disappointed.
Tried the Minced vegetable Dim Sums, the Fried tofu bao, the grilled mushroom satay and the va pho chilli chicken along with a blue moon.
Loved every dish though I couldn’t take much decent pictures cause of the dim lighting.
Loved everything thing about this without a thing to point out. Would recommend the mushroom satay specially to anyone visiting there.

The food, ambiance and the service were wonderful! We'd ordered veg Pho and Mushroom Bao for starters. Both of them were so delicious!! The only restaurant in Chennai where the waiters/waitresses replace cutlery and fill glasses without me having to struggle to get their attention. You could tell they were trained to serve with a smile and be extremely courteous. Loved the experience :)

amazingly we had ordered Filipino fish ball soup which did not have any weird smell but tasted amazing! The mango salad served with beef satay is an amazing combination! The prawn in sambal was out of the world. And no qualms about any dish ordered. The service was good and ambience is nice too! Best place to treat your friends and play some nice games along! Never miss out on their fish bao, I repeat do not miss out on fish 🐠
One of my most favorite joints in the city. I absolutely adore their rice and crabs. Its a musssst try if you are that side of town.
Service is relatively slow and the staff quite untrained but they make up for the good food.

I ve tasted good East Asian food after a long time in Chennai. It's a bit expensive, but the people are very well mannered, good ambience . Wonderful food. Try the star hit(Bao) you will love it. Good options for vegetarian people too.

Yummy Creamy – AWWW, you beauty!! Best drink with smooth mango lassi with a hint of spicy chilly; the frothiness along with the kick from chilly as it strolls down the throat was WOOHOO!!
Rangoon Princess – Guava and lemonade with a sweet-tart flavour; the grenadine supplemented the fruits well, too much ice though
Taiwanese 3 cup Chicken – A tender saucy meat with hints of crunchiness from the nuts and vermicelli; couldn’t ask for a better starter owing to its sweet/sour flavour in spots
Kam Heong Broccoli – Damn good and crunchy broccoli sautéed in an equally good masala; though it was of the Malay style, it was pretty much ASIAN
Zucchini Dim sums – Almost a samosa shaped soft and flavourful dim-sum; no hint of spice but was smooth, creamy and fresh
Crispy spicy fish Bao & Spicy tofu Bao – Best and soft bao buns I’ve ever had; the filling was sumptuous with no signs of frills; while the former was more on the crunchy side, the latter was on the kicky side
Spicy Malay Noodles – Tasted kind of typical with coconutty flavour; wasn’t very spicy yet soft and just okay with the sweet chilli sauce
Burmese Falooda – Usual dessert with loads of ice-cream, fruits and basil seeds; though it had lesser milk, it was quite good on the whole
Chocolate Mousse – A mousse turned to a birthday cake (complimentary); wicked sweet, soft and so rich; straight from the kitchen
Ambience/Price:
Parking could be a little concern since the place is located in a narrow street; the ambience and service was our favourite since they wore a smile all the time. Didn’t take much of waiting time for dishes; the quirky décor/setup too was very flashy.
Price was OKAY, neither here nor there but can definitely visit at least occasionally.

Name sounds like Tamil language but it's purely a Asian restaurant. All Chinese yummy foods are served here. Menu card will make you feel like you are in a exam Hall. But don't worry their friendly staffs will help you to choose. All foods are served fresh and tasty. Should try Milo shake for sure( my favorite). They have variety of mocktails as well.

The most delicious food is served here. Vegetarian friendly place. The Vietnamese soup is my personal favourite. & Then goes the Bao Buns. Very soft and crispy stuffs with lettuce and mayo. One of the Most yummiest Bao Buns are served here. The table host was very courteous and professional.
A great place to have variety cuisine. The ambience is great and service is awesome. Excellent food and value for money compared to other restaurants that have similar menu. I had Saigon pho- a Vietnamese soup, Spicy grilled fish for starter, Bbq chicken Bao, Japchae- Korean style noodles and Lo mein- philipino style wet noodles. Everything tasted excellent. I personally didn't like Lo mein much but everything else was too good. Bbq chicken Bao was fantastic. Overall a remarkable experience.
Great food, Great ambiance, pocket friendly. Worth a visit for south east Asian food. Food was beautifully presented and very delicious! Very helpful staff and excellent service. The decor is also well done.

This restaurant was the first in the city to introduce the concept of Baos, after which Baos have become one of the most popularly known Asian dish in town.
Adding to this, they have recently launched a new Southeast Asian menu with an extensive range of dishes from dimsum to baos to noodles - all of which are very much in line with our Indian palate. A wide range of beverages have also been included.
Some of the notable dishes that we tried were:
Lotus stem - fell in love with this. Fresh and crisp lotus stem in Sambal sauce.
Broccoli and Spinach Dimsum - a treat for all the vegetarians out there. A perfect blend of broccoli and spinach with a mild spice and flavour.
Chicken Dimsum - loved this one too. Every bite of it made me crave for more!
Spicy Fish Balls - Absolutely gorgeous. Fish balls were served on a bed of fried noodles. So perfect and temptingly tasty.
Pho - they had both vegetarian and beef options. Such exquisite Vietnamese flavours.
Chicken Thukpa - Always a favourite Tibetan dish. So delicious this one was.

Va Pho is an Asian canteen with a variety of Asian Cusine ranging from Indonesian to Vietnamese. The Dishes have always surprised me and satisfied my taste buds. My recent visit was Awesome. Very Pleasant service and friendly staff. Good Ambience too. Although every dish is must try a few of them are worth mentioning Saigon Pho, Crispy Spicy Lamb are all worth the try. The Bao is a must try. The sambal Lotus stem is surprisingly delicious. I would definitely recommend this place.

Prawn dimsums in a rice base. Loaded with deliciousness and every bite you take is surely gonna make you happy.

Had mine with chicken and the gravy plus noodles gives you an amazing flavor.
White chocolate brownie:
Probably the first time i tried white chocolate brownie and to my surprise it tasted very well. It was served with chocolate ice cream. I usually love warm brownies with ice cream.
