Tummy full yummy food really mouthwatering dishes will be coming again and again.
Tasty food.. Good ambience and service..would be interested to visit again
Good place for any family and friends gang.. A complete vegetarian buffet with variety of dishes.
Starters were very good.. Even the main course were worthy..
Ambience and service was good..
I had been here on a sunday afternoon for a lunch buffet which costs 600 including tax.
Ambience: The ambience is very good with dim lights and comfortable seating. There is parking for both car and scooter.
Service: The sit in buffet service was fast. Even though the restaurant got crowded the service wasnt affected.
Food: Food was totally worth the Rs.600.
For Soup we got the tomato soup , which was perfectly flavoured.
Starters included Paneer tikka, baby corn manchurian, vegetable balls, sprout salad. Except the sprouy salad everything else was really tasty.
welcomr drink and chaas was also good.
People who say or think what's even there in vegetarian food please dine in here before jumping to conclusions. Despite the hardship in finding out restaurants which serve good vegetarian food there are certain hidden gems like this restaurant which serve vegetarian food at their best at a veryy very affordable price.

1. Welcome drink - Blueberry mocktail was served which was very refreshing. It was the first time in my life that blueberry flavour wasn't tasting like a syrup πjust the right amount was mixed.
2. Soup - Choice was given between manchow and tomato soup. However we ordered both. Manchow soup won our hearts. It was perfectly seasoned with right amount of all the Chinese sauces. The tomato soup was also equally good but however manchow had all the essential kicks.
3. Starters - Paneer lal mirch tikka and kebab were served. The paneer was very soft and had a little sweet taste. But overall it was fabulous. The kebab was a little dry but tasted good.
4. Salad - Apple cider salad was served. It was perfectly seasoned with right amount of apple cider vinegar and had a nice pungy sweet taste.π₯
5. Main course - Roti and butter naan along with classic dal tadka, methi paneer and mixed veggie sabzi were served. The sabzi had a little sweet taste but tasted really good with roti. Methi paneer was average. Dal tadka was prepared in a classic way like how it should be prepared and taste was extraordinary. Then Pulao and Noodles were served. I was flabbergasted by the taste of the Pulao. The rice was silky with a beautiful aroma and was veryy flavourful. The noodles was not up to the mark.
6. Desserts - Shahi tukda, pistachio ice cream and blueberry cake was the menu served. We were so full to finish the desserts. Everything tasted good. It was my first time trying Rabdi. The bread wasn't crispy and tasted a like flat jamun soaked in sugar syrup for a long time and then topped with condensed milk. It tasted pretty good.

P.S - They also serve Italian cuisine at very affordable price. Fried ice cream is one of their specialities π§
Satisfying heavy lunch which delighted our taste buds. That happy good full feeling :) Great service, food and ambience
Had a sumptuous dinner and an awesome experience.Menu card's design was unique.some of the dishes taste were mouth watering.
Fab food, on time every time. Please hire more locals and support the locals... Nothing against the waiters, but would be nice to see a local speaking the local language.
The place is kept extremely hygienic. The staff is very courteous and welcoming. Biryani is to die for, much better than all the famous non veg biryanis.
The food at patwan was superb! We were a party of four and had the sit-in lunch buffet. Our table was taken care of by Azaad and he was very attentive and courteous, the spread was very good and sufficient. A good four to five varieties of starters, two choices of soups (both were tasty), three subzis and breads, a pulao, noodles and sauce and curd rice were served. Ice cream, rabdi malai and a pastry were desserts. Food was fresh, hot and delicious and a good value for money(500 rs inc of gst). The service was very impressive.I would definitely recommend this place!
Have been to this place twice and damn I just love this place !!! Being a non - vegetarian I have not enjoyed going to any other vegetarian place other than Pakwan for North Indian food. Ordered the below items ,
Jalandari mushroom - out of the world - so yumm and creamy
Paneer Multani masala - definitely too good
Butter naan and aloo paratha - soft and yummy
Plain cheese pizza (customised for my kid) - good
Malpua - too good
Shahi tukda - good
Tomato basil soup - good but could still be creamier
Overall undoubtedly 4.5/5 . Reducing the 0.5 since itβs a bit pricy . Otherwise I would love to go to this place every week π₯³
I chose to have the table buffet here. cost wise the buffet is okay with decent options in starters, main course and dessert. Table booking was not allowed on weekend. serving was done quickly and they ask us about what we need. We don't need to wait for them. Taste was good, especially welcome drink, tomato soup and kebab. Ambience was pleasant and clean. valet parking is available.
Mind-blowing stuff.. start to finish.. u can't ask for more.. we went for a team dinner. Most of us opted for a 599 net buffet served at our table.. Started with a tomato daniya soup.. starters were dahi papdi/kachori , Hara bara kebab & paneer Manchurian.. Each one was better than the other.. we all had close to 3 rounds before we had to give be up & move to the next segment.. which consisted of red Sauce pasta , Mexican salad & roasted papad.. main course was a usual affair with assorted breads with a panneer gravy , kadai veg .. then came lucknowi biryani.. this was the pick of the lot since it was perfectly spiced , not an inch more or less.. loved every bit of biryani . We signed off the main course with curd rice.. we hardly had anything left in the tank when we had the bestest dish of the night.. litchi rabdi . Most of us were having it for the first time & couldn't help but to literally push it inside our tummy coz it was too good to be wasted..
A word of appreciation to the courteous staff who served us at a brisk pace & for making it a perfect evening..
Overall this place should be on top of the list for any pure veggie who lives tandoori , chat & a brief cameo of Italian..
To start with..we went to this place on diwali night..i must say they have a great service..the order was delivered superfast even when the place was overcrowded (we were lucky bcz when we came it was empty and in just 30 mins it was overcrowded.. people were waiting outside to get a table). Food was pretty good. Even though it was pure veg it had a lot of options to choose from..we were so busy eating that could not take good pictures. We ate chilly baby corn, kuti laal mirch paneer tikka, veg manchurian, plain naan, tuti fruti icecream and sizzling brownie.
All of them were made perfectly and tasted really good.. i would surely recommend it to vegetarian lovers.
It is the best vegetarian place in Chennai. I was too busy eating to click great photos. Must try.
Ambience - 5/5
Food - 4/5 - Do try palak chat platter and paneer multani in its main courses.
Service - 3/5. You have to give instructions multiple times if you want to customize your dish, because there will be more than one waiter serving you and they keep confusing it among themselves.
A place you'd never get bored of.
Buffet is there only for lunch and I recommend that for a first timer to get an idea of the place.
Loved their paneer, all of their biryani is just yumm.
We love their GAJAR KA HALWA. It's served hot and is consistent every te we visit the place.
Litchee rabdi is also yum.
We tried their Chocolate fondue.. it's base is dark chocolate, something kids will fight over.
Best place for a family hangout.
They were so quick to bring food inspite of being bulk order and the food was sooo nice and the ambiance was also very nice every one should check out the chef's special stuff's
Items like paneer tikka, fruit salad ,mojito lime and mint were soo great the ambiance was also very nice you can enjoy with your friend's and family
We went for Family Dinner - the meal was more than satisfactory! The starters ( Paneer Tilka, golden fried corn, Panner roll with vegetables) , main course ( Panner subji, dal makhni, and Amritsari subji) the breads ( kulcha, Panner paratha, aloo paratha, lacha paratha) deserts ( Gulab Jamun, Malpua with Rabdi, sizzling brownie and few scoops of ice creams)
The starters were fantastic - all of them were very good in taste but the Panner roll with vegetables stole the show.
The fried corn and water chestnut was also a hit.
Panner Tikka was normal.
The main course was all fine but Amritsari vegetable Keema was like the best among the three.
Desserts were fine , Rabdi was awesome and sizzling brownie was fantastic.
Overall a very satisfying experience
Crowded on weekends. Min wait time will be 20-30mins. Went for lunch buffet. Welcome drink was tasty and went well with the food through out. Soup and starters were served almost immediately after we sat.
Soup:
Tomato soup - best
Starters:
Baby corn fry - tasty but little hard than normal
Panner tikka - Perfectly blended
Some kind of potato cutlet ( forgot the name :P ) - Different and good
Pasta - very bad. They messed it up totally. It was so blunt.
Chat:
Dhahi vada - bad. I couldn't even have half of it. It was so sweeter than normal.
Main course:
Roti, Naan - Soft and fresh
Panner makhni - Good but not great.
Dal - Tasty
Something with peas - Average
Rice:
Dum briyani - tasty and good
Curd rice - Perfect
Dessert:
Gulab jamun - The best I have had. Soft and mouthwatering
Mango ice cream - below average
Small chocolate cake - Regular one. Good
Malpua was amazing! Soup was nice. Crispy babycorn was a disappointment. It was hard and not at all crispy
Awesome place.
A best place for North Indian. β¨
Ambience 10/10
Taste 10/10
Service 10/10
I was there for a party. And the taste of the food was tooo good. I loved it.
If you are a north indian and in chennai then this is the place which you should not miss. They have awesome service. They serve delicious food. We ordered four dishes and to our surprise everything was very tasty. They have a good ambiance as well. The location though, is not on the main road.

Their panner makhanwala is a must try. Their north indian gravys are good. Lassi is not recommened here and fried rice is average . Cheese Kurkure is average. Crispy chestnut corn is good. Rasamali is good. Service was good
We went to this place on one fine day for dinner. i was really confused while choosing veg restaurants as iam a non vegetarian. this one had good reviews and ratings! so i went along with my entire family!
They had an amazing ambienceβ€οΈ
The service was very friendly and benevolent!
we ordered many starters and everything was almost good. special mention to the manchow soup which was too good!!
1.aglio dimsum
2.crispy corn with water chestnut
3. cheese kurkure
4.babycorn manchurian
the dimsum was the bestβ€οΈ
Among the mains, we ordered assorted roti basket and paneer gravy. Also we ordered alfredo pasta, lasagne, spaghetti. the spaghetti dish was okayish. the pasta and the paratha rotis were good.
Finally for the desserts, we wanted sizzling brownie and tiramisu. the brownie was awesome β€οΈ, but the tiramisu was out of flavour. it was very bland and missed the coffee flavour.
overall my rating would be -
food-4/5
ambience-5/5
service-4/5
cost-3.5/5
Totally cool place for a family! The food is so yumm and the service is fabulous. want to take your family out for dinner? Then this a recommended place.
Their lunch combo is real value for money @499. The restaurant was full on a weekday lunch. The set menu begins with a welcome drink and soup, followed by 3 starters- the paneer tikka was yummy and sumptuous. The mains are quite filling as well with rotis, veg biriyani, couple of curries and dal well made and quickly served. Top it up with irresistible gulab jamuns and ice cream
Pakwan was on my places to visit list for a long time.
So me and my wife planned to go there for lunch today.
Checked Dineout and Easydiner for offers but didn't find any for this place, however we visited the place.
I had got good reviews about this place from my friends and my sister Deepthi who visited it a couple of weeks back, so went in with high expectations.
We were received by a waiter who was kind enough to get us seated in a place where we would be receiving maximum AC (I requested for it).
Okay coming to the food part, we ordered
Soup- Creme de Fungi[Kalan soup] 1 by 2, it was creamy and heated to perfection the shrooms were really fresh and good π
Fried Masala Papad - Normal Masala Papad (2pieces) with generous amount of Onions and Tomotoes, the only minor tweak is the papad was fried in oil. Nothing to rave about. It was decent for the quantity and price.
Cheese Kurkure- The show stealer of the afternoon (my wife loved it to bits), spring roll maadiri aana cheese and chat masala laam potu pakkava irundhuchu and 8pieces per plate. Taste, quantity and quality were perfect πππ
Garam aloo ki chat- Kadala maavu la urulakalangu potu fry panni adha thaiyir oothi chat items laam potanga, it was good aana me being a aloo veriyan was not 100% satisfied (no pun intended) but it was good. π
Jaljeera- Mela irukura item laam ulla thalli light ah vairu muttiduchu so ordered this. A decent drink, it would have been awesome if they had mixed it well. Adila appidiyae andha masala settle aaiduchu so kadaisila dan taste semmaya irundhuchu. Starting kudikirappo it was ok π
Wife wanted to have lasagne
So ordered Lasagne de vendure- I had only one small serving, wife ate half of the dish and packed remaining to home. Mrs told it was good and cooked to perfection. Enakku lasagne na aagadhu so no comments ππ
Pakwan Delight (Supposedly Chef Special pizza) - No comments simply waste (Senthil Modulation) 500βΉ(inclusive of tax), for this price
Dominos pizza la order panni irundha shemmaya saptu irukalaam.
Big disappointment of the afternoon.
Fried Ice cream- it was really mouth watering and delicious ππππ
Total bill was - 2000βΉ (totally worth it)
Pros:
1. AWESOME SERVICE
2. Portion size (Saw the next table ppl ordering a Veg Biryani, and my jaw dropped seeing the quantity, it was good)
3. Serving time
4. Suggestions given by the wait staff, we were about to order one more dish, when he suggested this would be enough for 2 ppl mostly sir, you can order later after seeing the dishes u ordered. We didn't order one more, as we were full.
Cons:
Andha pizza va mattum konjam nalla pannungaππ
It was bland, my wife told salt might be missing or something. Not sure but it was the only disappointment.
A good place for people who prefer vegetarian menu
Hey. I had been to pakwan yesterday with my family and it was the best dinner we've ever had!
We reached the restaurant at around 8:00 PM. We ordered the sweet corn soup, it was fine but not great...
But the rest of the meal impressed me. We ordered the margarita fondue. And it was the most delicious thing I've ever had. My dad loved it! Then we ordered aloo paratha and Paneer paratha. Subji, we ordered dal pakwan. Both were amazing. Then we ordered the Lucknowi tarkari briyani. Which again was fantabulous. Last but not the least we order gajar ka halwa, which was good!
TASTE - 5/5

Pakwan is one of the few restaurants in the city which gives you good vegetarian food!!! Ambience is very calm and nice !!! Food tastes great and the service is very prompt and courteous !!!
The best place iβve been in whole chennai . Awesome lunch buffet , total worth for money .
The staff serves you like youβre a king to them .
Had been to this for the second time with one of my friend over the weekend and to start with, this is a perfect place for people who want to try out vegetarian cuisine. The ambience of the restaurant is so good. The outisde waiting area has two lovely red lounge single seater chair where people can click pictures to while away the waiting time. The Ambience , food service is very impressive. We had ordered sweet corn vegetable soup and it was yum. We wanted to try something different so ordered palak chaat which was a mixture of fried palak , tamarind chutney mint chutney and sweet curd served with sev on top of it, and I must tell you the palak chaat was crispy crunchy and delicious. Finally we ordered assorted basket of fries which was a combination of French fries , potato wedges , aloo tikki and aloo smileys. It was normal in taste and nothing extraordinary. The quantity was so much that it was too much for just two people. Since we were full having the fries we directly jumped off to the dessert skipping the main course. We tried meetha pan ice cream and it was yummy. Would definitely recommend this place to people who would want to try vegetarian cuisine. Clean and classy ambience.
A huge place to experience various cuisines for vegetarians. It's a true pleasure to try their extensive menu with options suitable for every age group.
It's usually crowded on weekends as it is has the perfect blend of flavours to satisfy everyone's taste buds.
Pakwan Chennai one of best vegetarian finedine restaurant in Chennai T Nagar GN chetty road. Awesome food and excellent service.....
I'll recommend people to visit this place.......
A vegetarian spread in the heart of T Nagar, the restaurant is one among my favourites in Chennai. Again an authentic north indian spread can be enjoyed in this restaurant. Nothing to take away from their offerings of continental dishes which are equally delectable. The service is fast and top class. The ambience is good and seems to be a popular place for small get togethers! The mocktails served also have a unique flavour. One can really enjoy a family lunch or dinner and yes..it is value for money!
Ambience-Pleasant.
Quality of the food-Good.
Quantity for the price- Paneer Tikka: INR 300+(4pcs), now you decide. I felt little pricey.
Taste of the food-Good. North Indian Cuisine comparatively better.
Service-Quick and warming.
Parking-2/4 wheeler, well maintained.
Loved their tableware collection.
P.S. No forever queue, even during weekends (is definitely a compliment from a person who hates waiting until our names are called out).
This hotel is near jeeva park beside kalaivaanar bridge.
We tried a lemon coriander soup, fondue for starter, brocolli macaroni and Lucknow tarkari biryani for the main course.
Of the prior list the only weak link was the biryani. Somehow it didn't live up to the hype and the chef's special branding. Perhaps it was a one off day for someone in the kitchen. The fondue and macaroni though were thoroughly enjoyable.
Finished off dinner with gulkund jamoon which was just good.
The place was clean with pleasant ambience. The service was really courteous and professional, shout out to the folks who served us today.
PS: The place gets lively as time passes, the last time we tried to get a seat around 8:30 pm we were told the wait time was at least 40 minutes. they don't do reservations and grant entry on first come first serve basis, so would suggest to try to get in early to keep the wait time down.
the experience was very great... food was really good...the staffs are very polite and the place is great for family occasions...this place deserves a 5 star...must try
A quiet little place this! Nothing much to talk about the ambience, serves good food, good for family outings! The service is pretty quick!
Have been here multiple times! Have tried almost everything on the menu but will post a notable few!
Classic Original Fondue
Crispy Corn and Waterchestnuts
Cheese Kurkure
Butter Naan, Missi Roti, Rumali Roti, Kulchas
Paneer Lababdhar - yum max!
Paneer Multani Masala
Dal Pakwan
Sizzling Brownie!
Hope you enjoy this place as much as I did!
Tomato Dhaniya shorba was watery and tasted just like rasam
Ragada papdi chat never had a single papdi even though the channa was well boiled and tasted well. Who does not love eating crispy papdi?. Paneer tikka was soft and cooked and tasted well but very rubbery. I have had softer and non rubbery paneer in chennai and this was no match to it. Corn Cheese nuggets has a single corn... Yeah literally a single corn kernal stuffed and boiled in a nugget. And was served with mayo dip. Veg ball machurian was really good and spicy.
Coming to Main course we weren't asked about our choice of bread at all and was served with butterkulcha and plain roti by default. The gravies were paneer jalfraize, Veg lababdar and dal Maharani. All three were strictly average in taste and Not something that a North Indian cuisine foodie would drool for.
Hands down one of the best North Indian restaurants in Chennai which has Chinese and Italian cuisines . Have been here more than 10 times yet the taste of the paneer and the flavours makes me come back everytime β€οΈπ! pure Vegetarian hotel with quite a royal ambience and the service was also quick ! Try out their sizzlers and the tasty gravies π«
LOCATION : Its located in a small street near G.N chetty flyover.Found it difficult to locate
AMBIENCE: Impressed by the spacious ambience. Liked the red theme.
FOOD : From manchow soup, fried masala papad, paneer tikka, nachos n chilly baby corn(crispyness was too good of baby corn) found everything delicious.Even main course dint disappoint.Dal takda, paneer butter masala both were good accompanied by butter roti.Dessert(Shahi tukda) was a bit thumbs down. Was expecting the bread to be little crispier.Even the quantity of all items was satisfying
SERVICE: Since it was tuesday, the service was real quick
PRICING : According to all above mentioned points the pricing was perfect.
OVERALL : Satisfying experience. Will definitely like to visit again :)
one of the best place for veggie food... being a non-veg lover i tried my first veg buffet here... to be honest this was the one place i liked veg food... the paneer was really good, the masala was really punched into the paneer... had my soup till the last soon which i usually won't do.... the service was really excellent and the ambience was very good .... the one think i felt was they could have added few more main courses on the buffet menu but overall it was nice experience
Went here me and my buddies on yesterday the place was good . Good was tooo good we enjoyed that but service was slow, then I'm fell cost is high.
Went to this place sometime ago with a friend on a weekend evening for dinner, after visiting Parthasarathy temple in Triplicane. Used the zomato gold option and got the second costliest dish of the order as complimentary.
We ordered paneer starter, original fondue, breads, paneer curry, dal gravy, and tarkari biryani. We opted out of desserts as we were already full.
The fondue deserves a special mention. It was my friendβs choice and it was really good. This is coming from me who is not a fan of cheese. Iβm okay with dishes that have cheese as one of the ingredients. But not the ones where cheese is the main ingredient / where cheese is used in higher proportion.
We were not able to finish the food. So, we requested the staff to pack the remaining food.
Food quality and quantity were very good. Service was okay-ish. Pricing is right.
Overall a good place. Giving 4 stars.
The food was too good . The ambience was good but i felt the restuarant was too noist when it was crowded. We had to wait around 30 mins . In the end we felt it was worth the wait ;)

Here vegetarian food taste impressed me a lot. I felt this is not only the place for having the delicious veg foods, but it is also the place were served with healthy foods. Paneer Multani masala and veg pulao is my favorite North Indian dish. I recommend this vegetarian restaurant for North Indian people.
Visited this restaurant with friends & family for lunch. We ordered: Pani Puri, Sev Puri, Cajun spiced cheese finger, tomato soup, naan, roti, garlic naan, and a few of the desserts.
Taste: 5/5
Ambience: 5/5
Price: 4/5
Staff: 4/5
Overall, If you want good North Indian food & a great ambience, visit this place for sure. βΊοΈ
Expecting a private dine in space for group about 10 to 15?
Expecting rich flavoursome vegetarian scrumptious food?,
Expecting courteous staff to guide and help you out?,
Expecting all of this at the center the of the city?
Head straight to PAKWAAN, RAJWADA
Awesome experience of highly delicious food, with a private space hindered from the remaining restaurant.
A perfect meal for lunch time.
Skip your bf, come for an early lunch and the beautifully set menu is gonna make you skip your dinner.
The menu provides delicacies one after another, allows you to choose from wide range of yummy North Indian Tandoori courses.
Overall, been with different set of 15 people two lunches the same week. Wonderful experience, tummy filling yummy food, courteous and friendly staff.
Went here with family today for dinner.. We were late, like we went there only at 9.30. So we got a table easily.. We were 5 people. We ordered, lemon corriander soup, dhaniya tomato shorba, roasted pappan, fried pappad. For the main course, aloo paratha, bharwan amritsari kulcha, tandoor roti, dal pakwan, multani paneer masala, white rice, pudina paneer biriyani... Mine was the biriyani.. I am very fond of such vegetarian biriyanis.. So my comfort food is that.. Rice preferred any day than roti or breads...
The paneer gravy was rich, like very rich with cream and oil.. But the taste was great... Fat levels shot up so badly.. ππ
Dal pakwan was not that awesome, not an extraordinary dal makhani.. Was a pretty average one. I felt it was a bit sweet.
All the breads were very nice, tasted really well.. I just had a bite of them all..
Coming to my biriyani, it was bang on. With all apt flavours and spices. Very good one.. Neither too much masala nor too bland. With lots of roasted onion and soft paneer... Ooh.. Drooling.. It was served with raita, which was normal..
Then we had a gulkhand jamun for desert, its basically a gulab jamun stuffed with gulkhand.. Very unique and great flavour combination..
Will have to visit again and try their other dishes soon... Service was also good - no glitches..
Ambience was great....
Bang on..
The review is completely based on my taste buds and my love for food. (no influence)..
Thank you π
Been to this place for buffet quiet a few times. The ambiance is very good. I personally think that buffet is better than a la cart because we get to taste a lot of dishes. The palak soup was hot and rightly spiced. We had baby corn Manchurian, veg ball Manchurian, paneer Tikka and potato cutlet for our entree. Both the Manchurian dishes were very tasty. The panneer was very soft but it tasted more like a raw uncooked panneer.
They served us a very different chat here. It had ladies finger and dahi in it. First I was shocked but it tasted amazing. All of us there asked for a second round of it.
For main course we had pasta, veg biryani, naan, roti, panneer masala, mixed veg curry. All the dishes were good. I personally liked the red pasta more than white.
And again for dessert we had carrot halwa and dhal halwa. The carrot halwa was out of the world. The best thing I have ever had. The pastry was Soo small. It was more like a small bite . And at the end they gave us a scoop of ice cream.
One of the best restaurants to visit for vegetarians.. All the dishes served were in excellent taste and servers were so pleasing and really satisfied.. Only suggestion is some more starters could have been added in buffet which I felt lacking..
Been there for lunch with family and absolutely loved the food. We opted for the buffet. The dishes were delicious and the staffs were courteous. Ambience was good. Worth a visit.
Hi Foodies,
I had been here for lunch with my family on 29-Dec. It was refreshing to find a good all-vegetarian restaurant serving buffet in Chennai.
They served a litchi welcome drink which was a bit too sweet but was good. The great thing is that they serve a sit-in buffet so all the food will be served to your seats. The dal soup was quite good with a very mild taste. The starters kept coming with a wide range from paneer to chat items. The main dishes started with a creamy & yummy white Alfredo pasta. They served bread baskets that had rotis and butter naans. The side dishes were Paneer Butter Masala, Bhindi Vegatables and Dhal.
They ended the buffet with multiple dessert options..Gulab Jamun, Cake and Vanilla ice-cream.
Two thumbs up for the service as they were very prompt in clearing the plates and while serving the entrees and main dishes. The ambience was also very good. The buffet price was very competitive. If you are in and around Chennai, Pakwan is a must visit for a great lunch!!!
Another gem of Chennai and must visit place for proper north indian taste. Very less places have a good ambience in Chennai and this is among them. Service is excellent. Food is very tasty. Though there was a long waiting outside, the restaurant manager was kind enough and given us a table without a moments delay.
Tried out lunch buffet. Absolutely loved the complementary drink. Soup was great.
Coming to starter, chilli paneer and aloo cheese tikki was awesome but there was starter made from shahi which we didn't like that much.
Then we also had chaat which I felt it's below average.
Main course we liked all 3 gravies, one Dal , one paneer gravy and one mix veg gravy. One thing I felt that was lacking is lack of Indian bread varieties. Nevertheless whatever was provided was good. Then there was pasta as well. It was hot and yummy.
Dessert was average but I'm never fan of dessert so don't take my word for it.
Went here with family. Good ambience with good food. We had opted for the buffet. The items were delivered promptly and the waiters were very courteous. The quality of the food was good.
The place was sooooooo gud......
Ambience-4/5

Ordered lucknowi biryani-soooooo gud it was
Basket of fries-it was a bit burnt but gud....its nthg special the normal mc cain fries v can get in the market
Schezwan fried rice was decently gud.
The staffs were so polite and served the food perfectly....
The price is little above affordability...not much though.....
Definitely worth the money...do visitπ
It's located in one of the busiest hotspots of chennai; T.Nagar.
Pakwaan only offers a buffet system for lunch. The buffet scheme for dinner is not available.
The ambience of the place is extremely good and comfy.

Been here twice. The ambience was pleasant and the staff were very polite. Food was excellent. I would say Pakwan is a decent restaurant for veg lovers
Another place wherein I visited twice in a month. Once with family and once with friends. Though long ago. Always on your list when we decide which restaurant to go.

Looking fowrward to visit again.
Went there for dinner with a bunch of friends..... Was bit skeptical about the place as it is located in a narrow alley.... But to our surprise the place was quite nicely done..... The wait wasn't long, although it was pretty crowded for a week night.... That might explain the slow service, well food arrived late that was kinda acceptable, but we had to wait for the bill for like half an hour.... Really... π€
Coming to food, we didn't have a great appetite so we ordered simple regular PBMasala and bindi masala with some Naan and fried rice etc., gotta to say, given the appetite we had it was all gone in a jiffy..... π
I would totally recommend and definitely go back to try more from the menu.....
Word for the restaurant- that particular day we weren't all that hungry from a heavy lunch so didn't mind the slow service, but on a regular day with family, that gonna definitely get on the nerves....
Fantastic food and ambience. Dishes were nicely presented and tasty too. Staff were courteous and prompt. Requested for bday cake which was beautifully designed and served

Our favorite restaurant for delicious and authentic north Indian food. They serve the most yummy buffet that covers 3-course meals with almost every dish as much as you wish.
The taste won't disappoint you at all, in fact, they're the best in offering a nice variety of north Indian dishes. Some of the top-rated items are chat, soups, different Punjabi sabzi, roti, naan, and paratha, and of course, the paneer is excellent. They've got super starters too!
The ambiance is quite impressive, you can surely look forward to a leisurely meal with family or friends.
They've got valet parking, and over the weekend brace yourself for some waiting time because the crowd will be more.
We stopped for lunch on a weekday and had a sit down buffet option with a good spread and tasty food. Couple of things that stood out to me : being served helps manages portions and ensures food isn't wasted as much as we do when we pick our own food from buffet, very good and quick service and the food had great flavor and taste
Lives up to the expectations. One of the best vegetarian restaurants in chennai that includes Italian and Indian cuisine. Almost all of the items that are ordered excel in taste. French fries were great and fresh.
Overall worth it, hassle free valet parking and good service. The one down side is too much waiting time irrespective of booking or first come. Wouldn't not pick during peak hours.
Excellent food, tasty. Spread is limited to the options of the day, but everything is unlimited. Definitely a must try. I have one feedback - service could be faster. Many times what we asked for took quite sometime to come.
Good veg restaurant in town, we a group of 8 went for lunch on a Sunday. They don't take in reservations, so we were asked to come for direct dine in. This place is little crowded, so would recommend to reach early for the buffet, it starts around 12.00 for Lunch. It's spacious and can accommodate around 75 -90 person per sitting.

Pakwan - the restaurant is a Celebration for all the dishes they offer as their name says . Each item on their Menu is worth trying. Ambience, Polite Service and delicious food truly makes a day to remember. We were surprised with the menu items in sweets, mocktails and icecream section ( they have a seperate menu card ) . North Indian cuisine was outstanding, yet to try their Buffett Lunch , Italian and Continental offering. Seating was at its best, they have separate Halls for Party and small gathering upto 15 persons.

Best place to enjoy delicious North Indian veg buffet in Chennai. Every course from starters until desert is awesome. The ambience is high class and the staff are very courteous and helpful. I loved the Gajar halwa and Mango ice cream. Overall a great food and experience for the price paid. Top place and I highly recommend if you're in Chennai.

First time seeing buffet is served by waiter.. in this way we can able to tasted all the items mentioned in menu (of course if you like the food item)..
Moreover, there is no need to worry that food is being wasted...
But we need patience as the waiting time is high.. if you visit restaurant earlier you might get seat faster..
If you are a larger group of more than 6 to 7 members, then plan to visit the restaurant earlier so that your wait time will be less...
Food, taste, and hotel server courteous support in serving food are awesome... highly appreciated...

Charming decor at the entrance itself. Very attentive and friendly staff. Extensive menu and each dish sounds tempting. Everything from the soup till dessert was yummy. Though little pricey but the quantity more than makes up for it. Very organized valet parking and waiting area. Definitely worth a visit with family and friends.
I absolutely loved everything about this place. Food, service and ambience was all top notch..total value for money experience. Definitely going back again.
One small suggestion would be to have the smoking zone a little away cause it hits you hard right after you finish your meal and come out.
A very memorable day of our Parents 55th Wedding Anniversary on 8th Nov 2022 at Pakwan. The ambience, food, serving, quantity, quality all excellent. Thanks to Mr. Lakshmanan , the coordinator who did a wonderful work. Very satisfying Get-to-gether . Happy Family πͺ
