After spending the evening at Besant Nagar, was really looking forward to have some good meal. Stopped at at Haven Sampoorna. It was definitely one of the best vegetarian food that i have ever had in my life. Not just the food the ambiance was also great. Everyone must definitely try it.
Perfect place for a family get together. Italian menu for the kids and Indian variety for the parents. Booking a table beforehand is highly recommended. Overall experience is good. It is must place to try if you are a veggie.

I ordered Spicy Mexican pasta . It's their signature dish. I absolutely loved it. It's one of the best kinds of pasta I have had. It had a layer of cheese and jalapenos which added to the taste even more. If you are in search of good pasta this is the one.
I ordered this from Uber eats. The falafel was so bad, pita was right though but so cold! The salad was dry, dips were average. I did not like it.
Good place for a classy food faster customer service than most other restaurants of this type recommend for all age groups and the cuisine is very delicious and flavorful

Been there twice now. My overall impression: Very Good. The decor is minimal but apt. The train that runs once in a while (it was not running during my second visit. I was told there is an issue with the track) next everyone nostalgic and excited in the restaurant.
One word of caution: if you go here, be prepared to wait. On both occasions we had to wait endlessly for our order. At the thought of complaining, I realised they had this spelt out in the menu - minimum preparation time of 20 to 40 minutes. So this is a place you will not visit in hurry unless you are there for lunch when I guess there is set Menu option.
The food quality is very good and presentation is top notch. Mexican bakes and Pastas are amazing. So are their soups and starters, well for the most part.
During the second visit we ordered and Paneer Tikka and the Paneer was not fresh. The garlic bread that accompanied the pasta was also not great. However, when I pointed this out to Mr Sanju he got me oven fresh and hot garlic bread which was out of the world. So a big thank you for Mr Sanju and his customer service.
The other thing I want to mention is even the mocktail take a long time in the making and is served only after repeated asks.
Overall I would whole heartedly recommend this place. Especially for the sheer options in vegetarian which can satisfy different palates.
It was saturday and raining. We happen to visit bessy beach and spotted this restaurant on 2nd avenue. As we are all hungry we decided to dine here. There was quiet a wait and we were told it will take 25 min. As it was raining we decided to wait. After a while we were ushered in. The ambiance was great and especially the music was awesome. All of felt we have come to the right place. The guys serving us were very friendly and helped us with the menu. we had soup and starter. As it was great a few decided to eat north Indian and the rest continental. Must say every dish was spot on and we really enjoyed the visit . It a good vegetarian hangout place with good varieties. Best part is its also very affordable .........
I had to dine in as it was a special day. My dads birthday. I asked for suggestions from my friends and this place stood out. Actually I wanted to go to 5 star hotel , but proximity and recommendations made me choose this place. I called and reserved a table for us. We went in by 8 pm and we were greeted well as we entered and the music was great. We ordered everything from mocktails , starter , mains and dessert. Everything was spot on. I was happy that we chose this place. The staff surprised us by sponsoring a cake and they played happy birthday song over the system. My dad was very happy and me too. Good dishes... Starter and ratatouille seem to be little oily but the taste was good. I was a big fan of the pasta I felt the sauce was kind of sweet.
Located in the prominent part of Besant Nagar, this restaurant offers good food and good service. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Fit for a family dinner.
The ambience was classy and the food had the quality. We ordered white sauce pasta, vegetable biriyani, tomato soup and a mocktail. It was amazing. Everything was amazing. A must go place.
This restaurant has a very pleasant ambience. The waiters are friendly and patiently answer questions.
It was interesting to note that there were pages in the menu devoted to people with different dietary restrictions.
We ordered the pearl noodles, the Rajasthani roti and the kadai Subji. The noodles could do with more veggies but the other two dishes were tasty and fresh.

Prices are high. But food quality is good. If you're going alone, a soup and a starter would be enough. The grilled veg quasedilla and falafel were good quantity for two of us. The tomato dip and cucumber mayo dips were too good. The wisconsin cheese soup was greattt.

If you went your way in the inner parts of Besant Nagar having your choice of food to be vegetation, Haven Sampoorna is one of the best options among suggestions.
Ambiance: A pleasant place for the evening. It gave me peace to sit between the brick designed walls and the 3 column green plant arrangement. Service: The attendees and waiters were very friendly. We dined with an 8 months old. It was very sweet of them to take good care of the needs of the child and help me 'the mom' to have dinner without any chaos. Food set up: The plates were clean. The table was well set. Water was provided as per our requirements. Most importantly the food was well suggested as per the requirement mentioned. Taste: The food tasted amazing. The best of all that we loved was the Kashmiri pulao - Must try. My child loved their soup sticks which were warm and cozy for his tender teeth, that came with the Cream Of Mushroom soup. Paneer mutter was their suggestion with the collection of 4 variety of naan they suggested us. We couldn't say the bread or the mutter which makes the other taste so delicious. Price: It is a level 3 price rated restaurant. Do walk in and treat your self with their delicious food and delightful welcome.
This is a typical multi-cuisine vegetarian restaurant and all dishes are pretty authentic. The staff and stewards are very friendly, helpful and courteous. The seating, lighting, ambiance are also neat and quaint. When the place is full, it could get a little loud but not too much of a hindrance.

On a Sunday afternoon if you want a wholesome meal just close your eyes and get here. Start with their banarasi tea which is more an appetiser and less of a tea. Jump directly to their diet thaali that offers rotis three sabjis and rice. Finish off your lunch with paan ice cream: highly recommend
The Paan ice cream they serve is a must try. My most favourite was Butter Naan and Gobi munchurian, it was crispy. Haven't had this good Gobi munchurian anywhere else in recent times.

I'll start off by saying that the only thing I regret about going to Haven Sampoorna is that I wasn't able to take any photos of the food! :/
I have to say, I enjoyed going to the restaurant not just because of the food, but for the service and atmosphere as well. It was the first time that I had gone there and I was duly impressed.
I went there with a large amount of people so I shall only describe what I had eaten. I first ordered a Milwaukee Cheese soup, which was definitely an experiment but one that turned out to be a success . I really, really enjoyed the soup. This hyped me up for the next courses.
For starters, we had Paneer Tikka and Baby Corn. The Paneer Tikka was enjoyable due to the fact that it well-done and also because of the nice dips that they had given with it. The corn was very well done too.
For the main course, I ordered a Siciliano Pasta. I really enjoyed it because it's hard to come across good pasta in restaurants in chennai, especially ones that also serve Indian food. It had lots of sauce, which is just the way I like it.
I wasn't able to have any desserts or drinks cause I just didn't have the space!
I'm not sure whether I should give a 5-star because I've not had the other cuisines and dishes that they have to offer but it's definitely a place which everyone should try!

People, i kept hearing about this place and goodness in taste. Had two choices Hamsa / Havenns. Gave a shot today with Family to Havena. Ordered these Wisconsin cheese soup- it was quite heavy compared to usual tomato soup, but yes it was good with difference. Corn cheese balls, ratatouille herb rice - simply so good if you are damn hungry and I bet you will clean up the plate😋😋😋 and yea I did 😉, Havens special weekend lunch was also good as the expectation rose from low to good as it wasn't an ordinary lunch.
The three dishes ordered were simply great, but kids including loved the polar express miniature train running close to the ceiling..I loved that too to watch🙂🙂🙂. Pls go and get the food in.

Happen to visit this restaurant as visited the near by beach. It was Saturday evening, the place was full and the waiting area was crowded as well. There was an associate of the restaurant who was waiting outside and as I was contemplating to wait or leave she told me you must try our food and gave us a electronic token. She said 30 mts but it buzzed in 25. We were offer a seat , we were four of us. The dinner was great with a few starters and main course and dessert. I must mention here everything was great and special mention about the courteous service. Its really a vegetarians Heaven.

Very good ambience and service. Dal methi Chaman was exceptional. Rajasthani food festival was on and Dal Bati Churma was great. Fusili vitale was also good. Good for a family get together . Music was good too . But restaurant was a bit noisy due to the crowd.

It was one of those days when I was craving Punjabi food and so ordered a Paneer Makhani from Haven. Delicious, creamy just as it was promised. Plus decent quantity for two, delivery as per the time given on placing the order.

Was in Chennai this weekend and my aunt suggested we try Haven Sampoorna for lunch, since it was nearby our home.
We had gone pretty late and sort of missed the peak lunch crowd, which was good, cause we got a table right away.
The restaurant was nicely chilled and the ambience/decor was pretty comfortable, if nothing out of the ordinary.
The restaurant is pure veg and features continental, Chinese and Indian dishes, they also have a Mexican fiesta going on. They had some interesting combos, thalis etc; but we stuck to Conti.
We ordered bowls of Wisconsin cheese soup, grilled veg quesadillas and a Cannelloni to share.
We all liked the soup, pretty hearty. The Cannelloni had a cheesy, spinach filling and while it was decent, I thought the bechamel sauce was a little on the sweeter side. The hit dish was the quesadillas, absolutely yum with its generous cheesy-veg filling and dipping sauce/salsa. I wanted to order another, but refrained! Lol
We ended the meal with a pan icecream and I thought it was pretty good.
Service was excellent, from entry to exit.. The staff was polite and quick. Great job!
Overall this is a great family style place, featuring several crowd pleasers.

To start with this place goes with the name itself, as we can feel the place with mouth watering dishes especially for veg lovers.
Ambience, waiters, food quality, service with customers all were awesome and a must place to go and have your delicious food when you visit Bessie beach. Ordered wisonsin soup & Pasta arrabiatta - with some specifications. It took little longer for the main course delivery. And got to know - it is because, the first outcome was missing my specifics. So had to make a new one. And this i got to know - only on pushing the guy to 'Give me an answer' ( a typical customer !) for later serving. Come to think of it - they did not use that as an excuse - instead, they were polite in accepting the mistake & serving the dish - as per requirement !.
So, the place is going to be on regular visit.
PS - Yes. the star is little less because, for those who have tried every dish on the menu - exploring is limited. Suggest them to expand or get something new flavour to menu !.

We are visiting this place after a while. What a transformation. From a little dining place to it has grown to a bigger place with a cafe and a banquet hall. The staffs are the same and it was easy to start a conversation with one. The menu book looks great and so is the food. Special mention about one captain Sanju who remembered us and inquired about us and made our visit special.
HI, I am not the type who writes a reviews. I am forced to write one for this place as I am very impressed with the ambience, service and of course the food. We went in as a family and 2 of us ordered continental and the others ordered north Indian. Honestly we really fell in love this place ad would love to go back often as we visit that part of town often. A very special mention about the courteous service provided by the staff and the 80 & 90 's music played which enhanced our experience.
Medium sized restaurant with interesting decor. Loved the Polar Express miniature train and line covering the four pillars of this place. They were playing Hits of Michael Jackson which I loved again. Service was prompt and courteous. I ordered green granita and ratatouille with herbed rice both of which were decent. Being an all-veg restaurant, Haven Sampoorna wasn't really on my to-do list. However, we decided to stop by on a lazy Saturday evening for dinner. First impressions were good- the place is decorated well. The tables were maybe arranged a little too close together. We ordered desi mojito, butter naan, zaitooni naan, lacha paratha, dal tadka and the aloo you see in the pictures (don't remember the name, the menu was updated I think because the one on Zomato doesn't have it). The food was served in the standard 20 minutes, however they got one item wrong- the aloo. The error was corrected in another 10 minutes. The food overall was pretty good. The breads were soft and hot and the dal was balanced. The potatoes were very good, with a nice turmeric flavour. The mojito was too spicy and had too much mint. Overall, nothing stood out. It is an inoffensive place to have a meal.
One thing to note was the effective management by the manager, who was always on his feet, tending to the guests and taking prompt action.
Fell in love with vegetarian food for the first time... WoW..
Update: As a good practice, I do wait for a day to see how the body accepts the food and provide an updated comment.
By far this has been one among the few places where my super sensitive stomach did not over react.

Small restaurant with delicious veg food. Their interior setup needs to be improved as you can see few focus lights directly hitting your eyes. Parking is a challenge during weekends. We tried Lasagna and Alfredo pasta.

Loved it both the times. Food is top notch. Prices are up there too but I think it’s totally worth it. Went there the 1st time w family and the next time w my friend. We pretty much ordered everything from the menu. We are huge foodies and loved everyone ate. The kids loved it too. The portions are sumptuous. They have an amazing starter selection, the Indo-Chinese, the North Indian food and the deserts are amazing. The drinks too are great. Loved the Non-alcoholic beverage selections all the mock tails are great. The kids went bonkers over the dessert fondue. It was huge! Loved it. Would Highly recommend it. Can’t wait to go there the next time we visit Chennai. It’s a jewel in Besant nagar for sure. It’s 5* place for sure.
They accept all forms of payment. They don’t have a designated parking so you will have to find parking on the street. It’s located up the stairs in the corner complex. Lift is available but we took the stairs. The decor is beautiful. The staff are super sweet including the door’s man.
The food, service and ambience was simply amazing. One of the best places for Veg only option.

One of the best veg restaurant I have ever visited. All the items we tried taste so good. Must appreciate the staff behaviour. They were well trained. This restaurant is bit costly but still worth for it.
The food quality and services were top notch. Starters and main course were absolutely delicious. But, Ghewar (dessert)was not upto our expectations it was too watery and a bit hard.
