After months of having Radio Room on my list of "must go to places" I finally made it there last Saturday and I must say that the wait was well worth it. The ambiance is electric and the crowd a perfect mix of all generations which means nobody feels out of place. Finger food is good and the cocktails tempt even a non drinker. As for the music, well what do I say except that it is the best part of RR. Hope you guys continue to rock Chennai. Cheers.
Radio room is amazing! The food is great and the best part about it are the drinks. Woo! They have such a nice cocktail and mocktail selection. I'm not much of a drinker but I was four down on a Smooth Criminal when I got there! It does get a little crowded as I guess it's the IN space in Chennai now but never the less I wouldn't miss it.
1 of the best place ever visited. Awesome food Must vist place..
One of the best Restobar in town Good food Good ambience Good people ...Overall a Good feel Place has some aura in it ...I had a great time
Well Radio Room is definitely my happy place in Chennai. Staff is warm and the ambience and music is perfect! This coming from someone used to living in Bangalore. The only hindrance is that it's couple entry of sorts so you've got to bring the ladies. For those who have had a bad experience, be open to trying it out just one more time. Cheers
Awesome place..kind of grows on you. I'm not a foodie..but it was delicious. Well stocked bar too. The DJ Rocks! What else does one need?
Great place to chill out with friends
Good lounging place in Chennai with good music n finger food...
Oh my god !! It's awesome !! What else to say !! The best crowd in chennai !!
Perfect place for a Saturday night! One of the most happening places in Chennai..
The service ar Radio Room is top notch. The ambiance is amazing with a great management who always have a pleasant face and not like few other places. If you have not been to Radio Room you should check it out.
Awesome chill place...
Zahir and his Radio Family make you feel Home at all times ...
RADIO ROOM. Is the place to be. For every young/old crowd goer its my one stop while club hopping.
An exciting news though. RADIO ROOM has launched lunch scene . Which is amazing right. Starts from 12.15 to 3. 30. So you get a 10 course meal which starts with a soup and ends with a dessert. Also a plus part is unlimited beer or a mocktails to choose from.
So the menu changes every week. I will be telling you about the dishes i had that day. Also its small portions for one person. Options are veg or non veg- you can choose ur preference. Started with a pineapple rasam, then greek salad, dim sums, kebabs, stir fry , then bao, main course will have naan sandwhich , lasagna, quesadillas and rice bowl ending it with dessert. All this is only for 999 rs plus taxes. Mon to friday. Only lunch time. I loved everything . Specially the chicken tikka and rice, the lasagna, the stir fry ohh basically everything. Ha. Cant wait for them to.open post lockdown . Will be going wit family and frnds for sure. Hope to see you all too.
Enjoyed the place at radio room. The cocktail suggestion by siva it was great.Had a great time.Food and service was great.Recommended place!!!
Radio Room is just amazing! Came twice in two days. Great atmosphere and great music, but first and foremost fantastic food and superfriendly, professional staff. Tried seven or eight different items from the food menu and several drinks and beers, all top quality! Will definitely come back if I get the opportunity. Highly recommended!
Great ambience lovely band and nice cozy place not too crowded just perfect for evening with friends
Lovely place
The place is very lively and ambience is very
I visit this place very often and they have never let me down be it their food alcohol service everything is at its best
A great pub with awesome cocktails and fine music. I had few starters of chicken and they were really good. The ambience was pleasant. Their service was lovely. Overall, a great place.
One of the finest place in Chennai is MRC nagar and Radio Room is one amongst them which is known for its drinks and crowd over the weekend. I happened to come over this place thanks to my friend for sponsoring this. It’s a happening place with drinks and loud music all around. You need to come after 9:30pm to dance and enjoy this place.
I will be writing the review especially with reference to the Cocktails. I found the the cocktails here being best within the price range it offers. Nutella Mochatini and Pina Colada are worth trying apart from the other generally chosen drinks. The ambience is super elegent and in food we mostly chose Fries which were good.

Without a doubt, one of the most happening pubs in Chennai. Looking at how the night unfolded, it clearly seemed like a favorite for a lot of Chennaiites. . I was taking my NRI friend out, so wanted to make sure he had a nice experience. We entered at 21:45 hrs and quite as expected, the place was buzzing with activity! Bouncers manning the entry checked with the manager and allowed us in.
Happening club and star studded too. Been there on Halloween , it was lit. Food is good and love the cocktails variety. My fav cocktail is triple Sec drink with JD.
This is the best place I had been to during my stay in Chennai of 6 months., and the place where I repeatedly went to enjoy my Saturday nights. And, trust me when I say this, I had the most fun nights here. Very good service, amazing ambience along with music, and outstanding bar. I strongly recommend this place to everyone staying over in the city even for just one single Saturday night. And you can thank me later. ;)
The place is always abuzz on weekends with the most crowd. It gets so tight that its hard to find a spot to sit if you arrive later than 9. Thumbs up for the Food and cocktails, but something needs to be done for the disproportionate seating for sure.
Hi, everything was perfect it had a great time there with my love,
The music and the ambiance was simply beautiful, even crowd was of standard.
Keep it up
The place grows on you and it lights up late evening as the crowd pours in , Gets busier at night. But if you are needing an afternoon break in Chennai this is a nice relaxed option.
The staff and service are lovely and polite
Radio room has a chill vibe. They play nice music and serve lip smacking dishes.
• The lemon iced tea was spot on , I craved to order another one!
• Pork bao- I felt like the filling wasn’t enough inside the bao but the pork tasted so delicious. It was juicy inside which I loved.
• teriyaki chicken skewers- Chicken skewers that are mildly sweet and spicy served with a tangy peanut sauce. I would definitely recommend this dish.
• The spicy pepperoni pizza with tomatoes and olives was probably one of the best I’ve tried in Chennai. The cheese and truffle oil was so perfect.
• The vegetarian pizza with fresh mushrooms, capsicum, spinach and corn was also spot on.
Amazing for a Friday/Saturday night out. Love the vibe and ambience of the place & great music. The food and drinks are great in taste and the service was also efficient. I would recommend it for guys willing to have an above average night out in Chennai!
A very happening pub in Chennai.
They serve good starters and they have everything in an very authentic taste.
The service is awesome and ask for Mr.Vijay.
A small but an always crowded place.
When you r there in chennai .... whiling to chill out... first thought comes for radio room ..... great food with some of intresting desert apecially the coffee base desert was outstanding .... mr. Vasanth gave the wornderfull service.... he was so suggestive regarting the cocktails he made us some special cocktail base on watermelon..dt was amazing....

It was nice evening ,booze with some friends and floor.
Ambience is good.
Will visit soon again
DJ is good who play good numbers which will spin yourmood and pull you towrds the floor.
food was excellent and Fresh. Right from the starters - including calamari fritters, chilli garlic chicken, fish in devil sauce, beef Satay, Keema pav, Vietnamese rice paper roll, cheddar cheese vada pav. No complaints.
We were presented two choices of unlimited alcohol - Hoegaarden and Wine. I tried Hoegaarden and it was heaven. Brilliant service.
This is my new fav place! The ambience , the music , the comfy seats, the staff.. such a lovely place. And to top all that, their food is delicious! We ordered peri peri prawns, cumin spread some chicken and the yummiest lamb sliders and beef rolls. And washed it down with 🍻. I still can’t stop thinking about the lamb sliders. I can’t wait to visit again and try more stuff !
Good drinks and ambience. They need to work on their food menu as the new one is only half as good as the old one. Also, there is a major lag in their food quality these days.
The music here is really nice and the staff are friendly and courteous.
Gets super crowded during weekend evenings so table reservation is recommended.
My fifth visit to radio room and it just keeps getting better and better ! Great decor , polite service , awesome drinks and good food ! We had a pitcher of sangria this time and a few of the starters / short eats . ( Parmesan broccoli , stuffed chillis , bruschetta and pesto paneer) All wonderful ! Keep up the good work and I look forward to coming back soon !
Went here on a Friday evening and really enjoyed the place. Staff was very attentive and they even made aglio olio pasta which was not on the menu when we asked for it. Had the filter coffee and chocolate cremeux for dessert. It was delicious! Drinks were good too! You should definitely make reservations beforehand, else it is difficult to get seated. Definitely going back!
Place is great , nicely done. Food presentation is also amazing but quantity is less. Music is amazing and the staff is really sweet and helpful .
A bunch of office friends and I went here a while back and it was simply amazing!
Ambience - Loved the ambience, spacious couches, loads of place to walk around when the music blasts later in the night(unless it's too crowded of course)
Staff - Very courteous and prompt.
Food - We ordered vegetarian starters and a couple of pizzas, all of them were amazing. The lotus stem dish was my favourite.
Drinks - I always try the LIIT wherever I go and needless to say, I tried it here too. It was decent. My friends ordered whiskey and rum and they were served well too. Must try more cocktails at this place for sure.
Cost - This place is slightly expenvise but worth it I would say.
Visit again? For sure.

Unplanned visit on a Sunday. We were informed that they only had the Brunch and it costs 2250 with alcohol and 1750 for the food. Gave it a shot and I must say it was totally worth the money.
Firstly, the food was excellent and Fresh.
The main course was equally good. I was hesitant to choose the Briyani but to my surprise, it was very light and flavourful. Possibly one of the best Briyanis in town.
We tried Fruit custard, Blueberry panacota and white forest Gateau. I'd give the desserts a 4/5.
Overall, a total VFM deal with no compromise on taste. Definitely recommend.
One of the best pubs in town located in a beautiful area! The food and drinks here are really good. This place never fails to attract crowd though it is lil over priced. Best place to hang out with friends for drinks and I would definitely recommend this place!
Food 4/5
Ambience 4/5
Service 4/5
Special respect for Zahir , good service and respectful management. Keep up the good work guys. Hats off team. Best party place in Chennai and ranks in top
We visited this place on a Friday night. The ambiance was great. The music was good too. It gets very crowded after 9-9:30pm on weekends so it is advisable to reserve a table in advance. They will let you in but there aren’t any chairs at the bar so it becomes pointless if you don’t get a table. We enjoyed our beer and food. Overall, it’s a nice place.
I had a day in Chennai and my friends made sure we use it to the max.
DINNER :- We went to the most happening place in the town, RADIO ROOM. Beautiful decor, great alcohol selection, one of the best crowd of chennai, amazing vdj and good food. MUTTON SUKKHA (₹375), CHICKEN KAKINADA (₹325) & PERI PERI GRILLED PRAWNS (₹500) stood out among the other finger foods we ordered.
It was an amazing day spent at some good eating places of Chennai. Next time in Chennai make sure you check out all these places.

Been there many a times. Love this place - locality, venue, interior, music, drinks, food, crowd and staffs are just amazing. During the week entry is very flexible - but on a weekend it does get packed and entry is challenging (if you don’t go with a gal / female with you).
I was here yesterday with few of my colleagues and I must say it's a sure shot place to be. Starting from ambience, food, decor, music... everything is super cool. Food was awesome, although I forgot the name of the items but I do remember the taste of it. Oh yeah, the Peri Peri prawns, the vodka egg, chicken satay, fish fingers ( exact name I can't recollect) and the buns with chicken inside( name forgotten).... the price is on the higher side but then again it can be compromised as they are serving real good food there. So in a nutshell, this should be the must visit place for the retro lovers. Thanks Radio Room for making my day one of the memorable one..
One of the destination which is spreading buzz around... Definitely stands up to the mark... Live screening of sports... Staffs are polite and the major drawback is on booking the table... Wenever u call them no matter wat is the time in the watch they say its full... But still the environment is good to enjoy drink standing...
This is very chic place. Starts off slow and then the crowd and music builds. Food is very good and priced quite ok. Off the dishes we ordered Vegetarian was definitely tastier as compared to non veg.
The pizza was one of the best pizzas I have had. And they had good dessert too.
We had ordered mocktails which was extremely yummy.
Overall buzzing place with good food and good music. Will definitely be seen there frequently
A beautiful place to go might be a bit expensive but it’s worth the all from hospitality to the food the service is the best and the food comes on perfect intervals and is pouring hot I would always go there to relax and they have a amazing DJ
So if u have read my posts, I usually start with "husband and I" so here is a change.. I went to radio room with my friends.. and that place was cozy and nice.. we were there until 8pm so I guess that place gets Busie after (as I have heard). We were recommended the lotus root and it was delicious and my non veg friends said it feels just like 'chicken' 😋 and also a plain basic margarita pizza thin crust.. it was amazing.. it was cheesy but at the same time yummie... The place was amazing.. I loved the ambience and the decor.. we had a good time and the hospitality was top notch! 😀
An amazing place. Had a bunch of cocktails and we're decently priced. The food serving sizes were small, could have been better. No complaints about the taste.
The best part about this place is it's music best suited for people who love the 70s and 80s era.
Went there to celebrate my birthday and it was a nice experience.
Sober crowd with a great music. Lip smacking food and booze in a reasonable price.
Good service.
Loved the barbeque chicken and pizza.
Went there as a party of 10 plus- mostly work people. Assortment of drinks and a wide variety of food including fish fingers, chicken and paneer tikkas, bao of some sort, fish tikka and the keema pao are the starters that come to mind. The drink and food pricing is to die for as for 11 people with maybe 3/4 drinking the bill came to around 15k. My gripe would be the music early evening friday night which became drastically better when the Dj changed for the lattter part of the evening. Ambience, seating and service all score well. Would recommend.
On friday it was too crowdy . We can get here each and every imported drinks whatever is mentioned on menu . Prices are comparable high but the crowd you would love to enjoy . Happening place in chennai .
We heard they’re very strict about entry, we had 3 couples and a stag so we called to confirm if it’ll be fine, the management responded saying it should be okay and that they can’t guarantee anything over the phone and if our “profile” is okay it should be fine, it was a breeze. Expect ID checks. It was quite happening even for a Tuesday night. They played retro music throughout that got in in the groove! For starters we had a broccoli cheese kebab which we loved, for the mains we had the “tambrahm sliders” which was an agglomeration of many components, mini burgers made from a bonda like patty, accompanied by a morkozhambu like sauce and fries. A very peculiar and interesting dish straight out of an Agraharam xD this is one of the few places in Chennai that has absinthe and to our surprise they had a 2 shots for 500 deal that day, even after happy hours. Absinthe hits real fast and hard and has a very cumin/fennel taste to it. 3 down and you should be good to go for the night ! We also had a margarita from their specials menu which we liked. They don’t have a dance floor as such so you’ll have to take to the spaces around you. Having shared veg starters, main course 3 absinthe shots and half a margarita, I spent 1.3k which is very reasonable in my opinion. Kudos radio room, we had a fun night !
Ambience, food everything was good. they don't have dancefloors, but the place still rocks. Ideal for nightlife! Service was friendly. Great job!
Finally went to this place. Don’t bother booking a table because they always say it’s full even if it isn’t. Better ambience & a better location compared to the slew of so called bars that have opened up. Pricing also seems reasonable. Worth a try!
I'm suprised I've never reviewed this place inspite of frequenting it for a long time now :)
Easily one of my favourite places in Chennai , everything about this place is just about perfect - service -excellent staff, ambience , drinks , food !
Music is absolutely great too and u can be assured of a good time with your friends everytime you are here !
Great ambiance , exquisitely crafted decor and amazing retro music ... add to that food company and the awesome food and you're already spoilt ... like how.
The 1st drink brings along , She's got the look and mutton sukha along with bacon and cheese crostinis and cheese stuffed jalapenos...
2 drinks later ... the DJ playing ' Every breath you take ' ... masala prawns, calamari and beef fry... and some more.
Fantastic place... highly recommended... please do yourselves a favour and go visit them...
I must add... great service
Tired? And wanna chill out with a glass of Wine or Beer 🍺🍺 ?? This is the perfect place. Good Service and Nice interior. The locality is also nice, which makes you feel comfortable.
Nice ambiance, polite and efficient service, consistently good food and innovative cocktails..
We have visited this place a few times now and radio room has never disappointed.
The price point too at 1200 to 1500 per person if you were to have a couple of drinks and food seems reasonable.
Will definitely continue visiting!

Awesome service. Great music. Food menu is a bit limited. But overall radioroom made my day. They even provided complimentary cake and a shot as it was my birthday.
Have been to this place a couple of times. Decent place with decent crowd. The finger foods are delicious here . Also the cocktails are reasonably priced and worth trying. The dj floor starts crowding from 10:30 and the music would just sway you to dance. Must try for hanging around with friends

Good ambience by pub standards. The service was great too.
By far the best starter was the parmesan broccoli kebab. Closely following that was the crispy spinach chaat. Also good was the mozarella yellow chilli fritters. The paneer skewer was a tad disappointing.
Among the lubricants, the muddy puddle was great. For people preferring non alcoholic drinks, the berry lemonade and miami and melons were good.
We had some trouble getting a reservation for an absurd reason that the number of females was less than males. That was a slight put off but it was good overall.
Decided to try something new so went to this place with a friend. Crowd was nice so was food.
Best part being sometime later after 10 PM we randomly see R Madhavan and Andrea chilling and enjoying their Saturday evening. 😬
Heard they’re strict about not letting single men in. Called ahead and went in to a place reasonably well lit, half full which is not bad for a Thursday, had the TV on mute with a cricketer hell bent on whacking the ball out of the park and an interesting menu.
The British Empire (served in Chennai as Beer 😁) was chilled and came in frosted glasses. Full marks for that!!! They don’t offer complimentary peanuts and the like. One look at the menu is enough to know the Chef and owners designed it with creative juices flowing at full speed. Why? Because they serve Coriander pesto paneer with spicy marmalade and mushroom feta puff. Spicy marmalade? Mushroom and feta? They were tasty - the portion size could be a lot better but taste and ambience outweigh portion size this once.
Why a 4 and not 5? There’s scope to enhance the experience specially with the selection of music and more choices of Indian alcohol. A number of non-Indian visitors would love to try the local poison.
Overall good place where I would go back. Thanks to the service crew. It was a nice experience.
Good location and a great hang out spot. Very accommodative. Have visited twice and will go more often for sure. The drinks menu has good variety and the food menu though limited, is absolutely wonderful. Their chilli beef and Tiramisu is a don’t miss item. Great ambience. Great choice to hang out with friends.
one of my favorite places to hangout. delecious finger food and cocktails and much cheaper where compared to other watering joints.
booking a table is highly recommend especially on a weekend. weekends are mostly packed, so advisible to order pitchers than single cocktails.
Tried their Sunday brunch with was ok. The cocktials are unlimited and finger food is good. so they bring the food on your table and there's no buffet system. But, mostly the starters are cold!!! you can choose one main course and dessert. The desert portion is really small. But for the price it's a good option.
Nice ambience and great music. The place is lovely, one of the best pubs in Chennai . The food could be better though. The pizza which we had was not upto the mark
Best #hang out in Chennai..Awesome food.. with good music.Try their cocktails really appreciated one.. catchy menu. friends can have a good parties..
Location - great! Ambiance - classy ❤️ Service - friendly and polite staff.
Food - Calamari fritters - tasted really good, we even thought of ordering it once again. Stir fried chicken - yummy again. Pesto chicken pizza - think crust, delicious pesto, soft chunks of chicken, yummy cheese - loved it!
I had always thought this place would be expensive for some reason, but it turned out to be great VFM. I would definitely keep visiting this place!
Great ambience and food. You will enjoy a wide variety of cocktails and mocktails. The music is loud, so make sure you are heading when you want to dance and enjoy rather than have a conversation. My favorite- mojito and cheese filled pizza 😍
The paneer rice is one of the best in Chennai. I have been here quite a few times and it never disappoints. Pizza wasn’t that good, but the Appetizers were nice. Overall a really good experience, with great options in Cocktails.
Went on a Wednesday night and it was full house. That's incredible. Just tried the chilli beef fry and loved it. Will head there for sure the next time I am in Chennai :)
This place is located within Somerset greenways. It has a separate entrance. The place is calm and has nice music on the weekdays. Whereas on weekends and on days with events, this place becomes so happening. Music, dance etc . Apparently few stars visit the place frequently, didn’t bump into any though.
Advise to make a reservation before hand. The service was so good . Drinks was perfect to the way we wanted , surprisingly the food was even more good. The prawns we tried was top notch. A good place to hangout.
Love the place. It's has bit less space though compared to other bars. Food quality is decent . Finish the drink before 12 else bouncers will be on your head
I would give them 5 stars if their service was better because the staff are unfriendly. Good ambience, Great food and drinks! My second visit was more pleasant than my first one.
When it's not crowded Radio Room is a chill vibe. Friday evenings and Saturday evenings are the busiest, you won't get a seat if you don't book in advance. But it's a great place to party.
Radio Room at Somerset is a perfect place to hangout with your family, friends and colleague. It has a beautiful ambiance and decor with perfect music playing which keeps your mind upbeat.
Service is excellent so as the seating.
They have opened lunch service which also has some offers.
What did I have?
Non-Veg Starters:
Mahi Fish Kebab
Pulled Pork Bao
Kakinada Chicken Bonda
BBQ Chicken Balls
Veg Starters:
Aloo Tikki Chat
Veg Sheekh Kebab
Mushroom Toast
Thayir Sadham Fritters
Karuvepillai Podi Idli
Mocktails:
Elder Flowerberry
Spicy Mango
Each and every dish was unique. I’m a fan of their curd rice fritters which is cooked to perfection always(I had it thrice so far). Pork Bao was ultimate :)
Karuvepillai Podi idli was awesome. It went well with coconut chutney. Aloo Tikki Chat was tangy and good. Veg Sheekh kebab was as good as non veg kebab. Mushroom toast was crispy.
Kakinada Chicken Bonda was spicy but I thoroughly enjoyed eating it. BBQ chicken balls melted in my mouth. Mahi fish Kenyan was ultimate.
Best part was none of them were oily. They weee tasty and spices were mixed and marinated at right proportion.
Ask the restaurant manager for offers(subject to change from time to time).
Eat it. You’ll fall in love with it :)

Friday night or Monday evening, the vibe is always great at Radio Room. Food is excellent: try the chicken bao, kalimirch beef, and calamari rings. You might find the drinks weak on weekdays, especially the shots. The place gets quite crowded on weekends, so make reservations if possible.
Great place to hang out. Entrance is on Lords Avenue, with ample parking space. They are okay with people parking their bikes in front of the building.
The ambience of the place is really good, and the food is even better. Prawns & mutton in starters were so delicious. Nice collection of drinks as well.
Service is good. Drinks are good too. The best thing about the place is that they play the music that they advertise. So you know what you will get when you go there.
If you are from Chennai or just visiting Chennai and looking for a place to step out, grab a drink and have some good food and music...then Radio Room is your perfect place to go. The space, their decor, music, food, drinks and their staff are all good. It's mostly happening on Fridays and especially Saturdays. I would recommend booking a table week prior to your visit. Or try to walk-in before 10:30pm.
First of all the location is outstanding , the service is top notch , the food is absolutely delicious 😋 made with so much taste & perfection .
Would definitely recommend young crowd for dates and to enjoy night parties as well .
Definitely going back again .
Cheers 🥂
The place inside Somerset in the prime location.
Routine security check at the entrance, valet parking is available.
Nice place to enjoy the weekends , it’s happening in the weekends than weekdays.
Nice place for hangout.
If your going to enjoy the party , book Ola or Uber as a precaution about avoid drink and drive as it is prime location you can available taxi services.
Visited the radio room on a Tuesday evening and with the dwindling night scene of Chennai’s night life with limited locations and stupid government curbs this place stood out. Of course the place was empty but the energy and ambience of the place didn’t disappoint. The decor is great and so is the music. The food is above average and certainly doesn’t disappoint! But I liked what I saw, will return :)
The best brunch in the city !!!!
The service rendered here is the star of the show .. special mention to mr . Rajapraveen and mr . Kolangi for the care .
Made our Sunday brunch experience so satisfying..
The kids are so well catered to !!! Makes parents to enjoy and chill to the fullest .
My home.. my comfort zone.. my go to place.. every thing here just great specially Vasant my friend, who takes care of us even without asking.. with his million dollar smile always .. a big shout out to him for his ever lasting contribution and smile at rr… love this place.. always! Thank you radio room for making us feel a part of you always 🤗❤️
The food served is insanely good.
The peri peri prawns and Kakinada chicken were drool worthy 🤤
The personnel who took our order was extremely polite and accommodating even though we didn’t have a reservation and was kind enough to get us a table.
The alcohol was a miss due to the watered down versions.
The place is great… Liked everything about this place.. Food, Ambiance and music.. Most importantly, Yeah.. Crowd is vibrant.. Great place to hang out with friends..
The food and drinks are amazing. The service is just fantastic. The atmosphere is also amazing and the live music is just the best part and highlight of this space which happens once a week.
One of my favourite Friday haunts in the city. I rarely go out, but when I do, I enjoy coming here cause the crowd is fantastic, the place is well managed, and I usually have a great time.
