Paati veedu is an elegant dining place . The ambience is just WOW!!... Though price seems slightly high (~ 1K per head), it was worth having a experience . Table booking is a must especially on weekends. The food was served in 5 courses. It includes: 4 types of welcome drinks, 3 types of starters, 2 main course (tiffin & rice) and last but not the least 3 types of desserts . The portion of food was small just enough to get the taste and yet enjoy the complete course . The serving can be repeated if anybody is interested. The taste of each and every dish was lip smacking !!. Food was served with etiquette .. I would really appreciate the staff and managers for that. It is a perfect integration of traditional food and modern technology . Totally worth it :-)

Had an opportunity to experience Patti Veedu, the new authentic five star south Indian fine dining experience in town. The aesthetics is truly unique and touches your emotional chord making it nostalgic and bringing back fond memories of our grandma’s home. Once you have relished the ambiance and decor, you get to experience a 7 course meal. The menu seems to have been elegantly designed and sequenced with great care and intricate detailing. The spacing and time between every course makes the entire experience so relaxing. The flavor and taste of every single dish remains fresh in memory - Panagam to the Elaneer payasam, the list can go on! It was nice of the Chef to visit our table making sure our experience is good. It was pleasing to hear the kind of intricate detailing and planning that happens before an item gets added to the menu. The chef showed us the place including their prototyping kitchen where actual grand mothers are brought in and their recipes worked out before the dish gets introduced into the menu. It was apparent that the items were really prepared with authentic recipes to ensure it tasted like home made food. The service was really good and the people were very courteous. It is value for money when we recognise the amount of effort and work that goes behind to achieve the taste and maintain the class. Patti Veedu sets the right mood for the entire family to come together and have an awesome experience. None of my family members touched the cell phone during the entire time – which says it all. A must visit if you would like to convert your ordinary dining experience to an extraordinary one you would like to remember and cherish.

After all d hype n amazing pics in social media, I booked my self for d first-day first-show lunch at Paati Veedu restaurant in chennai .Those who know me will vouch fr my love of South Indian saapad, it’s my all time fav! When I landed there... Oh boy! Did it live up to the hype! The whole ambience n decor reminded me of my very own paati Veedu in Chickmanglur .. (frm tile designs, carved pillars, lamps ,vunjal, thenni -d whole retro decor) sure made me nostalgic. Had d full course meals Frm panagam , traditional starters followed by main course wi few of my fav dishes murungakka rasam, karakolambu, potato roast, finished it wi some gem of desserts-( filter coffee mousse, elaneer payasam, karpatti halwa- my sweethearts fav!) Relished every bite of all dishes.. The spice was jus d way I like it! Although my other half was huffing n puffing over it.. After a hearty meal , I was preparing to leave but caught d smell of freshly brewed filter coffee wafting in d air n couldn’t resist to have a strong cuppa kapi...born into a coffee growers family in Chickmanglur I shd say it was high up there as one of d finest cuppas.. As I was stepping out, foolishly thinking I was done.. caught d site of sweets n savoury’s on display. So I bagged some kajukatli ,laddu ,murukkus , seedai n podis to savour at home .. they dint disappoint me either. Loved d whole experience ,would surely want to keep going bk & try other dishes. Guys .. do give it a try Nxt time when ur looking Fr fine dining veg options in t.nagar.

Ordered the lunch Thali and the delivery was smooth and quick. The food was tasty but there was no vegetable (poriyal). The chapathi and kurma was really good. The quantity of rice was a lot for someone who eats more vegetables. A bit more variety would have been better and definitely a dry vegetable.

The name speaks. Authentic south indian dishes. Weekend buffet had 3 juices _ ginger, water melon, grape + vazaipoo vada, kara paniyaram, sundal + puliogrey seva + sambar sadham + lemon rasam + white rice combos + besarattu n curd rice plus dessert.
We enjoyed our fav starters repetition.
Not sure if any south indian cuisine serving awesome home made yummy Desserts wheat halwa, palgova, payasam.

Though quantity is very limited which is supplied on demand, couldn't eat more just like other unlimited meals. Filled even before starting with white rice combos.

Awesome place to enjoy with family.

N and I went to this place as it was on my ‘must visit’ list when in Chennai. Being the foodies we are, we wanted to try a variety but didn’t want to have the set meal as N wanted to have appams and it was not part of their meal. But I would surely want to give their set meal a try.

For the starter we ordered the thamarai thandu nei piratal, it was a dish made of lotus stem, semi dry with a tomato base.

For the main course N ordered appams with coconut milk for himself and I ordered vada curry dosa. We also ordered karuvepillai idli, which was idli’s fried with curry leaves powder.

And for the dessert we ordered the elaneer payasam, which was made of tender coconut.

Please note that menu has only the typical ‘tiffin’ varieties the locals here prefer for dinner.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and would recommend this place to anyone who loves Tamil Nadu cuisine like us.

Lovely ambience and decor and courteous staff.

This place has a calm ambience. Just like a traditional South Indian home. Has enough seats and it’s quiet spacious.

Food: we were given different types of applam. As I found taste a little different, when asked to Courteous staff, they said they use Gingelly oil. Which gave it a different taste. We ordered 3 items In all.
1. Tamarai Sizzler
2. A rice which was prepared from millet (Served in pot)
3. Thattu idly.
All the 3 were really good. All of the 3 items had a good taste and not much spicy and not garam masala an all. If u want lotus stem to be crispy, kindly inform the staff in advance. Also the rice was really nice and quantity was enough for 2 people. Thattu idly was served with 4 types of chutney and homely made sambar.

Ambience: Ambience is really nice and one could really appreciate the open kitchen. Staff are very friendly and well behaved and well groomed.

Price: Paati Veedu is bit costly. Thattu idly cost around ₹170. Was it good? Yes. But is it worth that much? No. But one pays here not just for food. But for experience and ambience.

Overall it was worth a visit and one can definitely try.

It’s definitely one of the best traditional vegetarian food in Chennai .. All of the items are lip smacking , exceptional service and ambience.. I would have given 5 star but the only reason I am giving 4 star is because their prices are too high and it’s difficult to consume food over here often ..

Let me start by giving special mention to the warm entrance and ambiance of this place. Felt nostalgic with it's resemblance with a Grandma's home.

The 7 course meal did taste good but the menu can be made more flexible because not everyone can finish a 7 course meal. Also, there was too much delay as we proceeded with each course of meal. That could have managed better.

Justifies 💯 for its name, Bringing you back to your roots. Traditional south Indian paati’s homemade food served for customers. Pricy but worth every penny.

The swing seating was very impressive. But quite annoying to get in as it wasn’t spacious enough.

Serving in banana leaves or sal/banyan leaves would have been better instead of serving it in modern plates.
Since everything else is so traditional. Anyway it’s just a suggestion.

My overall rating would be 4.6/5
Will come back on my next trip to india :-)

One definitely has to experience the food here to know how divine it was. Vegetarian food with a touch of Grandmothers love as the name says 'Paati Veedu' at its best. The service makes you want to visit this place again and again - so warm and courteous. The interiors are spacious beautifully done. They even have an outdoor seating space with thinnai, rocking chairs and a lot of 80's - 90's games like pallanguzhi, paramapadham, and lots more.
With regard to the food, we opted the sit down buffet priced approx ₹950/- per head. We booked our table via Dine Out App during the GIRF so we saved almost 50% of the total bill. (Bill attached in the pictures)
Our dining was more of a ‘little things that matter’ concept! From starters to dessert and beverages, every thing was served in tiny portions sure to make you feel full at the end of the meal.

For the welcome drink, we had : Muskmelon, Beetroot & Ginger Lemon Juice! No preservatives, No sugar – Healthy eating feels! 😋

For the starters, Vazhaipoo Vadai, Sambar Vadai, Karamani Sunday – all tiny portions and also, did I mention it’s unlimited!

Here comes the first main course – Masala Dosa, Lemon Sevai with 3 side dish – Sambar, Chutney, Boondi Raita – I had to ask for the Boondi Raita thrice 🤤

Second set of main course and I’m almost full. My plate looks like it’s just filled with happiness – Poori, Pongal, Vathakuzhambu sadham and 5 varities of side dish *loud burp* 😂

Being at such an authentic south Indian restaurant, how can we miss Thayir Sadham with Mor Molaga 🤤 here’s more reasons why I will visit this place again n again! 💕

Ahh! How long it’s been since I had authentic south indian dessert and snacks!Palkova – I had to refill it twice again, gulab jamun my love, wheat halwa just melted in my mouth and seedai! 😍

I’m more of a chai person than a coffee person. I’ve had coffee only handful of times in my entire life and after having this filter coffee, I think I might get addicted to caffeine!

Vetrilai, Sunnambu and Paaku for the finishing touch! 👏

Overall, I personally had an amazing experience, more of a royal dining experience. The staffs treat you with utmost care and courtesy. We paid ₹990/- for two which is a killer deal. All thanks to the GIRF! Paati Veedu – A royal dining experience!

Never in my right mind expected South Indian vegetarian grub to be so beautiful. Vazhakai bhajji - raw banana pakoda was something that can be a perfect snack. For those who do not like bananas, they would enjoy this too since it has no taste of the fruit at all. Karuvepallai podi idli - these were idlis smeared with ghee and masala kadi patta. Adai with jaggery butter podi- rice and dal based batter which is used for adai and served with gur (jaggery) and butter. One has to have the food here to believe how perfect it was. To top all of this, they had royal hospitality and a warm vibe inside the restaurant.

Fabulous degustation experience of authentic Grandmother’s food. The set menu works really well and is outstanding in taste, portion size (even though it’s unlimited!), and presentation. Nostalgic interiors and fabulous food followed by further shopping at Bakshanam next door complete the memorable experience. Reservations are mandatory although the gracious staff were extremely kind to accommodate us on a weekend in spite of our not having a reservation. Well done to the founders and management - and team. It’s quite evident that the best of hospitality, F&B, and the culinary arts have come together here.

The name of this place stops with the fact that an beautiful bungalow has been artistically renovated to maintain the authenticity of olden golden ambience...wow for that. Food was served in very courteous but not so experienced staff, trying to give their best so no complaints....From the starters till the dessert the service is pretty slow but they mentioned it in the beginning itself....point is if they serve tiny tweeny starters and expecting us to wait for the repeat is toooo much....starters being one inch Masala Vada, one inch idly....two teas spoons of sundal...and should mention each only one in beautifully arranged cups....so It goes on like three welcome drinks in pegs...three starters....one variety tiffin n one variety rice...... till these are fine in taste....then comes the main course oooops no difference than mess food I could not eat in the name of traditional food no no no I love traditional food.....but here...😕now the desserts one hot yummy boli, cup of sticky moong dal halwa.....watery Payasam.....desperately I asked for boli repeat....after waiting got it....after billing I came to know they forgot to serve coffee...so we waited in beautifully arranged sit out and had very good coffee ....a well maintained place would be great if they concentrate well on food.....but a great experience indeed

At Paati Veedu I realised that a Meal is an Experience and n Offering to the Divine within....

Chennai's pride 'Paati Veedu' is a must go fine dining restaurant not jus for its trendy-traditional decor or the serene ambience alone...

The food served, beyond being a treat to all of the senses..is an emotion at 'Paati Veedu'...the Chief Chef Mr.Gopi takes pride in preparing and serving some of the mouth watering signature dishes like Manpaanai Idli....Kuthiraivaali Sambar saadam... Panner thokku sizzler....Poori wid Tomato Potato masaal....Milagu Kuzhambu saadam with Vendakkai pachadi...Drumstick Rasam....mudaikanthan bonda....manathakkaali vadai...the list is tooo long...:)) his Elaneer Payasam is not jus a delicacy...but a true delight

Have U ever heard of Vetrilai bonda (beetel leaves bonda) ? Then U better check it out at Paati Veedu today!!!! The flavour is ultimate

Not in many hotels U see the Chief Chef coming to tables to ensure tat guests are enjoying their meal...tat way Mr.Gopi's hospitality and cooking expertise are one of Paati Veedu's most important USPs....dont miss to meet him!!!

The set menu is a total extravaganza.. ....plan for the bhojanam lunch or dinner and do remember to go starving there...coz theres quite a variety of dishes which U cannot simply afford to miss... from juices...starters...tiffin items...rice varieties...different podis...rasam (vepampoo...murungai...etc) as appetizers..bakshakam...n desert..n finally the traditional thamboolam (beetel nuts...beetel leaves n Chunaam)

Afterall Paati is so health conscious as honey and Karupatti (palm sugar) are predominantly used in most of the delicacies... the thokku n pickle accompaniments are sooo fresh each time....n since pure ghee n healthy oils are used ...the portions are rightly sized to feel perfect even after a 4 or 5 course meal...there is no bloaty stomach post savouring a Bhojanam at Paati Veedu!!!

So why wait do check out dear Paati Veedu today to pamper yourself in a nostalgic taste wid a nayaa twist!!! kudos team Paati Veedu

I was here in a group of 6. The place from the outside gives Heritage look. Interiors are really fine and restaurant is spacious. Worth taking pictures.

We ordered for,

2 set menus- It is not Sapad, but various dishes in smaller quantities. Mysore Pak was really hard. Rest of the food was nice. This is not worth as it is overpriced for the quantity of food and nothing unique.

Man pannai idly- This came in a pot covered with roti. It is crushed idly cooked with various spices and had nice aroma of ghee. This is close to bisibelle baath. Worth trying

Aadi dosa with Jaggery- This comes in a set of 3 medium dosas served with Butter, jaggery and idly powder. The combination was unique. Must try

Masala Dosa- was served with potato masala, sambar and 3 chutney (tomato, coconut and tamarind). There is lot more on the menu to try.

Coconut ice cream- 3 scoops of ice cream was enough for a group of 6. It was topped with nuts and mint leaves. Really smooth and had enough flavor of coconut. Must try

They have valet parking, a bakery that sell snacks and sweets.

Overall I enjoyed the food and staff was courteous too. The menu is a bit expensive.

Paati Veedu,A place which is famous for vegan foods.I have no idea that this restaurant existed in chennai until my colleague decided to throw his birthday treat here !!! As Typical non-Veg eater this was one of the best disastrous and lifetime experience. We went for dinner buffet priced 700 + tax * per head i believe so since it was my colleagues treat he hasn’t revealed the real amount. I admired the place a lot it was super cool and perfect place to click picture.A must visit for ambience. They serve Good food and Healthy one To be frank,I wasn’t aware of most of the dishes ( My Iyer friends helped me).For me,Kuli Paniyaram with chutney was winner. It was super soft and delicious.Main dishes were also good. They gave three drinks ( keera juice,Beetroot etc)in vodka shots glass which was quite different.Dessert part was limited in which payasam stands apart from others. We ordered Coffee as our after meal drink as there was no soft beverages or lemon cooler!!! If you are frequent BBQ visiter like me i suggest you to try paati veedu for a change once (Note : only once 🤪)

I rarely give a restaurant five but paati veedu has excelled my expectations in every possible way.
We went as a group of 18 for celebrating my parents wedding anniversary. Right from the homely kolam at the gates, to the mood lighting, the koodam, the Murphy radio radiating a pang of nostalgia everything was just perfect.
We were given a room exclusively with scattered seating and we opted for poorna bhakshana, a 7 course well spaced set menu bringing pre plated forgotten food to your table.
Good things come in little (but refillable) packages - this should be the exact summary for the menu. From the shots of panagam and nannari sherbet to idiyappam sodhi and kudhiraivali sambar sadham, everything was perfect. The icing on top was curd rice which came looking like a jar dessert!
My entire family was delighted and went thanking every single member who served us.
A special mention to Rahman, Rahul and kanakaraj. Another one to the wonderfully accommodative hostess who brought my grandmother kindly through the staff elevator.
Paati veedu does justice to it's name and is worth every penny.

From serving the correct temperature of hot water to their mouth smacking paniyarams, Paati Veedu has moved me in the course of vegetarian food.

The experience was highly delightful.

The ambiance was really amazing and captured that nostalgic feel of my own grandmother's house back in Madurai with the warm colours and homely designs.

Food was exquisitely beautiful.

We started by ordering

Vepampoo soup which was soooooo goooood!!!
I would recommend that for people with cold or a sore throat

Then the starters
Karuvapillai small Idlies, medu vadais and paniyarams
along with 4 different chutneys
(Ginger, Tamarind, Tomato and Coconut).

Next was a tiffin item which is the the Mysore Masala Dosa.
It was rich in flavour and looked vivid enough to dig into.
And honestly was the first time i felt full for a vegetarian course.

And for dessert, my colleague had an Elaneer Payasam which i had a taste of and one sip was enough to send back to the richness of Urban delicacy. It was so pure and original.
And myself had a double filter coffee which was energizing.

Overall, i had a damn good experience in Paati Veedu and would definitely recommend everyone to give it a try.
Cheers! :D

One of the BEST places in Chennai for authentic Tamilian food. We had the full spread for dinner and it was excellent. The blend of spices was outstanding, the service was great and the whole experience was so enjoyable. If you enjoy South Indian food that's not overtly spicy you'll love it :)

After very long time planning we been to paati veedu... But my paati veedu not like this😂😂😂.. the interior was sooo amazing the colors they used for painting resemble like parci people but tht pullikolam highlighting south Indian tradition... The server dressed up well matching with interior and worn Bluetooth to communicate with each other... The food part I really disappointed the items are really very less... For lunch they served dosa and hoppers are not good pair... The taste was good.. the welcome drinks are sooo natural without icing and sugar... They are serving coffee tea at the end instead I would suggest them beetal leafs and banana... We can visit only once... Not value for money.. per person they charging 1100

I’m truly happy to see the food scene in Chennai has change dramatically in the last 2 years.
This place was like a fresh of air with such a cosy feel with the traditional ambience.
We went for lunch which has a pretty planned menu with drinks, starter, nibble, main course ,dessert and hot beverages
The plus point is that each item is giving in moderation quantity to relish the food and enjoy the entire course. Quite honestly by the end you are totally stuffed that you can skip dinner.
The food was well flavoured and balance.
This place is a marvellous experience of South Indian food and must visit place.

Ps: this place is delight for vegetarian as it’s pure vegetarian place :)

First of all I would like to acknowledge the whole team and staff and the chef ! For such a delight evening!

Well coming to the food we opted for Bhakshana that is a like a complete buffet meal served at your table one by one without any limitations (meant the quantity and number of times you ask the same item!)

The dinner menu started with three juices - Raw banana (tasted real yum ) , beetroot and lime mint. Later the startes came in they are thokku idli, peanut sundal and paniyaram (along with chutney!) . Followed by tiffin that had tomato idiyappam and capsicum pachidi (it tested really awesome) and podi utappam highly recommended to taste it. Finally the main course had come in it had the melaghu kolumbau tasted like heaven and the soups (rasams ) were excellent!! Also it included akki rotti and chutney all tasted extravagant! Last but not the least the desserts they included wheat halwa! I can write a poem for this dish as it was so yum! And I totally taken away by the taste, accompanied by kheer and raagi tattai a hint of healthy snack! And some more sweets.

Overall a divine experience me and my brother started recollecting our grandma place (literally) and the ambience and the internal setting is something anybody will fall for!

Yeah again a huge thanks to the whole team and the staff of Paati veedu to give us this beautiful memory!

We opted for buffet with the dine out offer being 50% on buffet.
The buffet consisted of three starter drinks, three starters-keerai pakoda,Sundal and kozhukattai. Decent starter picks!
Then, tomato sevai , Adai ,chutney and aviyal was served. It was delicious, mildly spiced and good flavour!
Then the usual white rice ,poriyal, keerai, more kolambu etc. More kolambu was so yummy!
Bisibella Baath and urulai poriyal was served which tasted good.

Dessert: carrot halwa with rabdi ❤️
Semiya payasam❤️
Wheat halwa💔

PS:Buffet will be served at your table and it is unlimited!!!

Before we begin.. I'm 25/from Chennai/working.

Anyone who is a foodie and is chill in spending for food, will surely get tempted by the series of lighting on the facade. As you enter, you get greeted by the guys at the entrance, followed by a red carpet which leads you to a waiting area/outside dining area I suppose (the restaurant was very peaceful with few to hardly anybody around). (We were asked to wait couple of mins so that out table is alloted. Decided to wander around the spare time we got).

As we got inside, I couldn't help notice the attention to detail given to every single thing. Excellent job guys really. Excellent training given to everyone at the restaurant. For anyone who has read this far, I have to narrate what happened here which is in line with the OCD cleaning training given to the staff here. Here goes -- 8pm, we were in the restroom, washing our hands before the food. Dustbin empty. Couple of our tissues were dropped into the clean bin. 8.40 or so, we were once again in the wash area, after our food. Dustbin empty. Our lonely tissues were once again the only piece of paper in the bin.

Continuing with everything, the food was excellent and clean. We ordered simple and light food (walked in due to the temptation from the exterior lights and the place) - Ghee Dosa & Onion Rava! Familiar dishew tried in a very much unfamiliar environment. I mean... Has anyone really had dosas in such a setting? Especially in a pure vegetarian restaurant? I know I haven't and it was a really nice experience!

The price is definitely not a concern and it shouldn't be. You are getting to enjoy something with dosas and vadas that you will not otherwise be able to anywhere.

I know the management would read this, so I would like to thank them for the excellently maintained restrooms with the #matteblack washbasins, two doored closet, the mirror lights and the water pipes in the basin. I already mentioned about the dustbin situation above!

One feedback or a query: why the digital form of menu card? You can stick to some classics that goes with the theme right? I know you guys must have a reason for the Lenovo tabs that were used.. just saying. An iPad maybe otherwise?

Anyway, did not try anything else. Coffee/Tea would be a must on the next visit along with some Idiyappam and Adai? Or the 999 Thali/Meals? Next visit is surely a guarantee and would love to be here with some good company, cherishing the good good and life!

Last scene: Bill was paid, walked out through the side doors, admiring the outside space and tea/coffee area once again. Football match streamings on weekends would... should be a good time to be here. Another surprise, there was a completely new door which was unopened and a small area inside unexplored!

It is the sweets & snacks area which was once again amazing and very well maintained! Guys, I came to know that you guys are 14 friends from long back who started this project together. Cheers guys. #peace #walkwithindia

When I saw the name 'paati veedu' and the pics of the restaurant, I was pretty excited. I would say they have almost done justice to the high bar that they have set. But still, I wanted to give 3.5 for the food buy I'm compelled to give 4 for the amazing ambience.

We had buffet, the number of varieties were a lot. Apart from one or two most of them were not like never-before-seen kind, at least that would be the case for someone who grew up in TN. But whatever we had were wonderful...delicious! Especially the ginger chutney and Vetrilai bonda, ie veththalai/betel leaf bonda. Who would ever imagine bonda that contains Veththalai flavour! Although though everything from starters to main course we're great, dresser and beverages were really okay only. Thy served gulab jamun, teratti paal and godumai alwa. Sorry paatti veedu, that's not something I call special. And the bevarages had only two option filter kapi and tea. Comon guys, again not special. Why not try something like paruthi paal or special jigar thanda.

Well, overall it was a nice experience!

Beautiful and peaceful ambiance. Must try if you are in Chennai and want to experience scrumptious and elevated food, rooted in traditional South indian tastes. You know the food is good and well thought out when they serve you idiyappam rice and extra decoction with coffee. We paid Rs.9k+ for a group of 6 adults and 7 course meals. Full veg menu. Valet parking available.

Authentic tasty unlimited South Indian veg food from a fixed menu served at your table. You can call for seconds and thirds and fourths. Menu items change every day. No a'la carte. Service is great. Ambience is fantastic. A must experience place.

This is the place to visit if you want to experience the local cuisine of Tamil Nadu at its best. The seven course meal is well curated and fills your tummy and heart to the fullest. The service is exceptional and to the standards of a fine dining restaurant. The restaurant is a traditional Tamil home converted into an amazing restaurant to go with the theme. They have a different menu on all days of the week.

On the day we went, there were three set menu options. 5 course, 7 course and 10 course meals. With menu items chosen per type of course. I wont use the word "curated". We had the 5 course. Coz that morning we had a heavy breakfast at Bharti Mess near the temple in Mylapore. This place is a bit expensive. But certainly good for a nice experience, once. Food was good. Many dishes tasted just like home so obviously one would like it. That sweet (adapradhaman) was a bit toooo sweet. Black halwa was good. I loved the dal. Sambar was average/above average. Am not sure but that aloo fry was cooked in gingelly oil? Had that after taste. Anyhow, good food. Good experience. Nice place. Good decor. Great service.

Had a wonderful time with friends, if you have 2 hours to spend on a leisurely meal and want to catch up with your family or friends, this is the place. Good food, unique dishes and the stories behind each course of an elaborate 7 course unlimited meal makes it a lovely experience. Mr. Ramakrishnan made our event even more memorable with his patient attitude and a smile on his face. Only flip side is that we weren’t aware what to expect in each course and couldn’t prepare our stomachs for the feast and do justice to the meal. Also, forget mobile signals. The owner also stopped by to meet us and welcome us, which was a wonderful personal touch.

Went on Monday evening for dinner. Tuesday is their weekly off. Lovely food, very tasty - right quantity. A tad pricey, but no wastage and delicious. Great ambiance - a century + old house converted into a restaurant.

Dined twice for dinner. Really loved the hot halwa and appams. Appams were so soft and coconut milk was nicely done. Authentic interiors were interesting. The menu on the tablet was a bit off given the authentic experience but they explained it is easier to Update the menu daily this way so makes sense. Overall we enjoyed our time but I am not sure if I would go again as it’s more of a experience dining so twice was good enough.

Lovely experience! Quite unlike anything else we’ve tried. The GRO Ramachandran made our dinner enjoyable - humoring our requests. Will definitely recommend the restaurant as a MUST-TRY. We picked the 5 course meal on Monday Nov 20, 2023 and I loved the nellika soup. The karipatti halwa was out-of-this-world! Make it a memorable occasion and celebrate with your loved ones. It’s pricey - about 1000 Rs per person. Well worth it!

They serve vegetarian South Indian meals of 5/7/9 courses. No a la carte. Ambience and service are great. Food is tasty and well made. Slightly overpriced, expected the bill to be lower by INR 400/500.
