The breakfast buffet was actually awesome. Must recommendation for those who are early morning risers to go and spend some quality time here.
It's just beautiful place to catch a lovely morning breakfast. They have a very nice variety in their breakfast buffet, the pancakes and the maple syrup were an absolute bliss. The ambience is also very nice with lots of trees and shade and the place is not loud or disturbing. It's a very nice and quite place where you can have amazing food with your loved ones.

The best place to enjoy some European food. Their "pork" bacon are definitely the best and most authentic in the city and the pancakes are a must try. They have an amazing spread of European delicacies for their breakfast buffet that's worth the money.

The ambience was just a wowwww... excellent interiors.. we just loved the atmosphere..
Food.. Everything was fantastic.. The starters just wowed us.. The cheese corn omlette was outstanding.. The lasagna was out of the world.. the chicken was perfectly cooked.. Each and every dish were competitors among themselves and we were confused on what to pick on the second round. I am waiting for the restaurant to be renovated soon so that i can be there again.
I will surely recommend for anyone who love italian flavours..
Went to L'amandier for a casual breakfast buffet one weekday. The delectable continental spread was super super tasty, filling and exotic even. Its a great place to hangout and have a lazy lunch/brunch. Price is on the higher end, but guess that's justified for the value they offer.
This was one of the places I loved from the outside and wanted to try. What better than when my best friend was in town. And she loved the place and the food. We ordered the tandoori blue cheese chicken "tikka" which we absolutely loved. Also the Bravia potatoes, confit garlic aioli, spiced tomatoes for my vegetarian friend for the starters. Both were good and quite filling. And the classic Mac and cheese for main course. That's something which never disappoints. The ambience and service was great.

This is very quite place on top of velveteen rabbit which is full of buzz in the weekends... You could enjoy a nice meal on a weekend if you prefer silent ambience...
Had a shredded chicken pizza which was really good and very well big enough for two people..
Then we had white sauce chicken pasta with basil, the sauce was the best that I have had till date.
We had Chicken skewers which were amazing with that dip they gave.
Overall the entire experience was very much good since I wanted a silent getaway.

For the first time I visited lamandier , I liked the interiors it was well spaced. I loved the veg pizza , chocolate shake and coconut shake smoothie . The staff were very well behaved the pizza quantity was good for two people as well. I loved the pizza for sure undoubtedly!! If you are a fan of pizza like me then it's a must place to try in chennai 🙃
Went last week for their breakfast buffet. Thier spread is very very impressive. And it's very much worth for the money you pay. With tax it was around 504 rupees. I loved everything in their spread. It seemed like authentic continental breakfast. Except for the black pudding but given the price this spread is awesome
It's a long due review.. been there a few times and still would be a pleasure to be dining here.a beautiful french-y restaurant with a beautiful ambiance. A lot of space and beautiful colors and a good presentation of food. It doesn't stop there. The meat is tender and juicy with fresh veggies. The taste is also subtle on the buds and easy in the stomach. My compliments to the chef and the team.

Neat place. Another place that I would want to try breakfast at. Assorted Bruschetta platter was nice. Peri Peri Pork chops did not really hit the spot as the meat was dry. L'amandier has been a crowd favorite in Chennai for their reasonably priced brunches. This was my second brunch visit here, the previous one being a Halloween special.
As all buffets go, L'amandier buffets are an assortment of poor to great dishes, each dish being highly inspired by the French.
The cucumber mint cooler, served beside a tap of watermelon juice, is refreshing and tangy. Do not cast it away based on its green color, quite similar to that of bitter guard juices.
To one side of the room rests an egg-and-pastas-to-order counter where you can have stuff made to your preference. Do ask the staff if they've got any other starters as one or two items are often prepared fresh and served at the table.
The veg lasagna and the Halloween special Savory pumpkin turned out to be great. The croissants and muffins were cold and dry and we weren't served butter/marmalade/jam at the table. Coffee and tea weren't served as part of the brunch, which was a little peculiar as all other brunches I've been to serve coffee and tea.
If you're looking for good ambience and reasonable brunch rates, then l'amandier is the place to go!

When you are hungry and you crave Italian cuisine then think no more. This is the place to be. Hidden by green foliage this restaurant can be nearly missed. Once inside, the yellow walls will remind you of the French streets of Pondicherry.
I had gone for lunch and opted for their buffet spread. The price was economical for the spread that was laid out. Unlike other buffet spreads that have a wide range of food options to confuse the hungry soul, this buffet spread was limited and the food quality was good.
The decor is good however few of the waiters do seem a bit lost. They are unsure wether to serve you / not.
To summarise- I'm glad that I visited this place. Do check it out !

Really cute place to catch up with buddies. Met an old buddy after a long time here and the place is quiet cozy for a good chat. Ordered pizza, coffee and sizzling hot brownie. Taste was up to expectations. Service was good and the pricing was decent. Overall, apt for catching up with buddies over coffee.
Completely over hyped place. So I went for brunch here and I was quite disappointed with the options. So for starters they have something like fried chicken balls and fried veg balls which was tasteless. Soup of the day was minestrone soup which was good, but I had better. There is live pasta counter which was good but veg. For the main course there were 10 options approximately which was good. Lasagne, Thai curry, herb rice pilaf are among the few I could recall. The deserts were few and mediocre. Over all boring for me. Nothing special apart from the ground flood by the window ambience but definitely a pocket friendly brunch option.

Buffet- started with a gud veg soup with lotz of veges. Both veg nd non veg starters were tasty especially the veg one stuffed with potatoes nd topped with some tasty masala nd the potato wedges too were cooked so well 👌. Felt happy of having such a healthy meal. Masala omelette is gud. Chicken was cooked well nd tasty too. Lasagne was not appetising. Deserts were so sweet😍.

Went there today for breakfast. Easy to find. Ambience is good. Yellow and white wall paint makes it pleasing to the eyes. It has two seating areas; upstairs is not recommended. Music was catchy one, like u r inside any pub, English popular songs playing throughout.
Coming to the food, we had the breakfast buffet for our morning hunger satisfaction. They serve decent enough variety in the menu, from fruits to breads to corn flakes. Just didn't like the black pepper being added to the roasted veggies.
Gets crowded on weekends, so if u r planning to visit, try and be there before 8am. Pay visit to the place and say hi to Mr Mubarak at the desk 😀

Well, quaint pretty decor, courteous staff. The salads are sumptuous, pasta great, chicken amazing too. But the same can't be said for their juices. Ordered a beetroot orange and ginger juice, specifically asked for no sugar. Was very disappointed when the orange juice used was canned, basically flavoured sugar water! Cappuccino was a let down too. So all in all, a place for good food, as long as all you decide to drink here is water!
I have been to this restaurant three times with my friend and the service they provide is pleasing and the ambience is like home... We are not bound to think it as a hotel.. Very Relaxing and Calm Place.. Some Starters and Desserts are great.. If you are looking for a place with some serenity and some decent service you can book a table here for weekend buffet.. it's amazing and particularly affordable.
Arriving on Monday night to a very quiet restaurant we didn't know what to expect. We needn't have worried, the starters of cheddar goujons and chicken chorizo stew were divine. These were followed by our mains of leek and onion millet crepes that tasted fantastic and Mac and cheese which was good, but not quite cheesy enough for me. Feeling very full we debated dessert, and, as usual, we gave in and both had a very tasty vanilla brulee. The only downside to the meal was milkshakes that, whilst tasty, were more like flavoured milk, not enough ice cream to thicken them.
The staff were very attentive and service was excellent. A low price for what was served too, we will definitely be back.

L'amandier, located in the posh locality of RA Puram, is an absolute delight for people who crave for authentic and delectable European breakfasts/brunches in an equally 'European' ambience.
I went for a breakfast buffet and was amazed by the variety and quality of the delicacies they had on offer!! The extravagant buffet menu comprised sausages, croissants, muffins, scrambled eggs, soya beans, hand tossed vegetables, potato wedges, sandwiches, pan cakes ,bacon and a lot more! My personal favourite was the Naples Trio Chicken which was prepared in cheesy pesto style! Each and every dish was equally mouth watering and they made extra efforts to provide various types of side sauces- mint mayonnaise and honey mustard to name a few and sliced varieties of cheese which added to the taste of the already delicious food!
The ambience of the restaurant is equally good and resembles the conventional European style of architecture which makes dining there all the more enjoyable. It was probably one of my best breakfast experiences!
Giving it a perfect 5 for its rich food quality given the price and an equally magnificent ambience.
They say , all happiness depends on a leisurely breakfast and L'amandier made sure I made a happy start to a warm Sunday morning!!

Visited recently with my wife and friends for Sunday brunch. Simply loved the ambience, food was extremely well presented and was delicious covering contemporary European and Italian cuisines. I love places with high ceilings and simple interiors. The seating is well spaced out at L'amandier with tables near ceiling to floor windows. I am a huge fan of restaurants where private conversations can be had over good food and you'll definitely get that at L'amandier.
As for food I cannot do justice describing how much I loved the potato bravas. I mean you can rarely go wrong with tempura, potato and garlic! The gnocchi was delicious too, I only wish for lesser sauce. The cheesy creamy pasta sauce was amazing but it was drowning the gnocchi. We were actually really looking forward to the desserts which kind of disappointed us. The Vanilla Pannacotta tasted like custard pudding. I am a fan of custard pudding so it did taste good but then custard pudding is not Vanilla Pannacotta which is what I wanted in the first place. The baked cheesecake was a real let down. It did not taste the way a cheesecake should. It tasted stale and like the indian milk halwa :/
Overall I wouldn't recommend the desserts but I did like their starters, main course and choice of beverages. I am a fan of good service and that's something I loved here. Despite it being lunchtime we weren't rushed to order, the man waiting on our table appeared by our side as soon as we needed him and never bothered us in between. I really do get annoyed when I'm asked several times how my meal is especially when I'm in the middle of the conversation. The empty dished magically disappeared and the next course was placed without delay. In fact we were so comfortable there that we ended up staying there engrossed in our conversation for around 3 hours before we realised how late it was :)
A good place for business lunch meetings, dates and any occasion where you'd like to have an uninterrupted conversation over good food.

I was very prepared to dislike L'amandier. Everything about it seemed the kind of faux pretentiousness that serves as a reason to slap you with a massive bill. I was very pleased to find my expectations not lived up to at all.
Valet parking, which is really mandatory on a busy road like this. The space inside is split-level, and while that could have been awkward, they've made it feel quite natural.
The decor is very restrained, but creates an impression of gentle refinement. It's all really very well done, and totally apropos to the overall experience.
Service was faultless. The staff seemed very familiar with the menu, and were very responsive to all requests. It was pleasantly minus the obsequiousness that many high end restaurants seem to confuse for good service.
The food was slightly mixed. By which I mean that while everything was above average, there was one standout, and everything else didn't get anywhere near that one.
We had the assorted bruschetta, ravioli and gnocchi in cream sauce. The pasta and gnocchi were very good, but had some tiny flaws- a slight lack of filling in the pasta and the gnocchi being more chewy than they should have been. That said, they were well above average.
The bruschetta was just exceptional. There were 3 types, and all 3 were distinct and totally unlike anything I've had before. The regular tomato topping was almost sweet, and the garlic taste in the hummus topping was inspired. This is the sort of dish that any restaurant that calls itself fine dining should aspire to- it was simple, and yet it was new and overall just about the best way to start a meal.
Pricing is on the expensive side. For the overall experience, it wasn't out of line with what other places are charging, so its hard to complain too much.
Overall Conclusion: if every dish were to hit the heights of the bruschetta, this would be perhaps the best restaurant in the city. As it is, its well worth a visit.
Nice ambience, you can feel the European touch. The bar was good with good collection of liquor and classic songs playing at the background. The food was amazing with every dish served with utter elegance and the presentation was up to the mark. Th food tasted really good. The risotto is a must try and the lamb skewers too. Overall it was a really good experience. And hope to come back soon
Just finished my breakfast. Lovely building and decor. Unfortunately for me i came late and behind a party of ten. It was very hectic but the staff coped well. The food was good but they kept running out. My favourite today was the cheese omelette and the coffee. Probably best coffee i have had in Chennai.
I will deffo come back again and i have feeling i will soon give it a 5 star rating.

A very cute and pretty cafe looking restrau which was a welcome surprise. We visited this place for lunch as we were staying in the service apartment above it.
It was a monday afternoon and hence not very crowded but the service was pleasant and prompt.
We ordered cold coffee, good ole greek salad , bruschetta platter and the most amazing tiramisu.
The veggies and prep was fresh and yummy! Except for the bruschetta with mashed potatoes, everything was beyond our expectations. The place is extremely reasonably priced to my surprise and I would definitely recommend this place to others esp the desert.

So My friend and I came here for lunch one fine saturday..most of the tables were full.The waiters were friendly and took out order.We ordered a peach flavoured iced tea , Tomato Gnoche (small buns filled with egg and cheese filling served with some fried noodles ) ,Spinach and Raviolli Putanesca(was really tasty but I felt it had a more oil then it actually needed) and my friend had tomato Risotto which tasted like rice in red pasta sauce (I would give it a 3/5) . We dint order desert as the propotions are quite big and filling .
We went at 2 pm and were pretty hungry.They took their time to bring their dishes.But to not let us wait they served us some fine garlic bread as appetizers which was on the house (Brownie points for that ;) ) .

Located on a busy road in RA Puram, the ambience of this place is lovely, too European to believe it's real. Couldn't have imagined a better welcome.
I don't want to get into a lot of details about the buffet. But there are some must-try dishes :
Chicken Sandwich: Wow. Just. Wow. I have never tasted better Chicken Sandwiches.
Sausage: Another amazing dish in the menu.
Cheese Omlet: Eat it at last. This is tasty but too filling.
Cappuccino: Must try.
The rest of the buffet was no less awesome.
The best thing about this place is the outdoor seating. Just sit there, enjoy the breeze and the sunlight amidst the canopy, maybe smoke a cigarette, and feel rich. Just this will make L'amandier an ever lasting memory.

As you enter L'amandier, the first thing you notice would be the French windows shouting 'I am European'. Not so shy with the colors, the seating was pretty exuberant. The restaurant depicted a typical cafe with blackboard menu, Semi bright lights and espresso machine on the display.
Though the place is known for its brunch, my colleagues and I had gone for a farewell dinner. We made ourselves comfortable, took an elaborate glance at the menu. It's not an European themed restaurant if you don't see a basket of fluffy breads sitting on the table before appetizer. They served really soft and fluffy breads. Balsamic vinegar would have been icing on the cake, they didn't have it though.
As far as the starters were concerned, the potato wedges were crispy and cooked well. Chicken lollipop needed more seasoning. It's a paradise for mayo lovers, since I am not one I didn't enjoy the dressings as much. Dressing on the shrimp dish was well balanced.
Coming to Mains, I found my colleagues enjoy the lemon chicken curry, sounded like it satiated the Indian palate quite well. The assorted melons and feta, it's just a match made in heaven. It was simply delicious.
We ordered each one of all the desserts. Creme brûlée was pretty disappointing with no sugar crust to crack and an eggy taste. Others tasted decent. But, The panna cotta was to die for.
On the whole, It was a pretty enjoyable dining experience.

Decided to visit this place after watching a noon show.... It was almost 4 and we were unsure if they would take lunch orders.... The staff were very sweet and accepted to serve in spite of kitchen being closed for lunch...
Wifey ordered a vegetarian dish... I have no idea what was it as i tend to ignore vegetarian options in the menu card... I ordered for a steak with some salad and roasted potatoes....
Food arrived and both dishes looked good... The steak was cooked medium rare exactly the way i had asked... The sauce complimented the steak very well... The roasted potatoes was a good side....
Overall enjoyed the food... Couldn't have desserts as their kitchen was closed... Next time will go early to try their starters and desserts...
0. 5 extra for the professionalism showed by their staffs... A tad overpriced but it is worth it...
Carving for English breakfast? This must be the best place in Chennai!! Nice food!! Nice atmosphere! At a decent price. Must be early in the morning to avoid crowd. Ideal for a breakfast meeting.

had been on my to-visit list for more than a year.. finally visited for a breakfast a month ago..
since the breakfast menu was not as larger as the usual menu, i settled with wjat vegetarian option was available for breakfast... the potato rosti was good and choco chip pancake was huge we found it super difficult to finish.. but the beat dish ever was the mushroom on toast.. it was creamily awesome that ruled out my fear of x-on-toast other than corn..
price was slightly on the higher end but the taste makes u adjust that.. wish the breakfast menu had even more vegetarian options amidst the eggetarian menu.. would really like to drop in for a lunch or dinner

Tried their breakfast buffet. Every dish tasted good. Loved the coffee too. There is a live counter for eggs to order. The service is slow. They took a lot of time to refill the dishes. Food is great. Service can be better.

We went for Christmas special lunch buffet. The bistro provides neat ambience but kind of sort in space if you are running a buffet service. Some table situated in the middle of buffet service can get extremely claustrophobic. Food is really good in general but with some serious flaws. Starting with the disappointing bread basket. I would love to have some fresh nicely crusted baguette and other option which was missing. Croissant was really bad. Another extremely bad dish was grilled mahi mahi in lemon butter and onion. Its a bad idea to use that fish for this marination option. End result was super dry smelly fish. Now coming to the good part there are many. For starter broccoli almond bisque is heavenly. Baked vegetable in cream sauce, spinach strudel and polenta is top notch. Festive turkey is another beautifully cooked dish. Tender turkey layered with vegetable and served with turkey jus. Grilled tenderloin are also good but the cranberry sauce is just awful. In desert section trippleberry cheesecake was another marvelous dish. Overall one of the best Europian inspired food experience I ever had.
Food is very delicious.. But no proper guide for what cuisine to chose.. And too much of potatoes in all dishes.. But apparently there is no way that food is not less the worth.. Must try for a really great food & ambiance...
The food is definitely tasty . But y I am giving a 3.5 is the quantity is very small and not worth that much price also there is no one to guide or suggest for people who are going there for the first time and no idea what to order in this kind of cuisine

Spinach mushroom and artichokes pizza as main course and Creme brulee for dessert..some of the things we asked for were not available..but the food was very tasty..
L'amadier has also been in my list from a long time. I had gone there for lunch on a Friday afternoon with a friend and the place was pretty quiet. The ambience is excellent, the décor. The food was good, I'd say 3.5/5 and the plate decorations were beautiful. It took a while to serve us considering how less populated the restaurant was. It was a good experience. I would surely like to come back for the breakfast which I have heard is great. Cheers.

1. Approach the egg counter for hot cheese omelette.
2. Ask for bacon (pork so not halal)
3. Freshly made warm pancakes were a delight, melted like butter in my mouth with maple syrup.

This place is the best place for European breakfast. They have lots of egg dishes and we almost tried all of them. Loved everything. Quantity could have been little more for the pricing
It's a great place for breakfast. Be it the Lamandier plate on the weekdays or the breakfast buffet on the weekends.
The spread is really good with sausages, roast chicken gravy, omelet, baked beans, crackers and cheeses along with juice and hot chocolate. Also theit stack of pancakes and bacon is lip smacking.

A breakfast restaurant is always special and only a few stands out among its peers. L'amandier is a gem of place situated in an avenue of RA Puram surrounded by shades. This bistro's entrance is so appealing that at least everybody wishes to have one meal there.
Walked in as the first customers of the morning, the place was understandably empty. Had it been a weekend it would have been an unlimited breakfast. The weekday breakfast menu was handed over to us.
Two of us ordered an L'amandier plate and a L'amandier Healthy plate. Since L'amandier plate includes bacons, we asked for extra chicken sausages instead of bacons. We ordered a piece of Danish and muffins.
The best thing to have on a morning would be their L'amandier Plates as it includes few of the items in the menu at an affordable INR 200-250! Items can be customized.
L’amandier Plate: 4 pieces of chicken sausages, 4 cheese omlette, watermelon juice, herbed tomato roast, 2 pieces of toasted bread with fruit jam, butter and marmalade jam and a fruit bowl.
L'amandier Healthy Plate: Oats, Baked Beans, Pineapple juice, 2 pieces of toasted bread with jams and butter, fruit bowl.
Danish was a like chocolate puff was yummy and Muffins were so cute;) I love them!
Parking available .I love the bistro's ambiance and interiors. You don't feel like being in Chennai.
Verdict: Breakfast Bliss!
I love this place. It's a great breakfast place, and a great brunch place. Good ambience, although it does get a bit noisy when there's too many people around. The food's great, although you have a take a chance on the bread / flour related items, it's known to be drier than expected.
The coup de grâce is the bacon and pancakes. Best. Ever.
And the buffet is fairly inexpensive. Definitely worth it.
Went for lunch at the L'amandier, a place which is usually known for its breakfast buffet! It was a OK experience!
For starters we had "mushroom aranchini" and "polenta sticks", mushroom aranchini was really good but the polenta sticks was not up to the mark and I didn't like it.
For main course, we decided to keep it simple we had " Penne in red sauce" & "Fusilli in jalapeño cream" both were good!
For desserts, it was "baked cheese cake" & "tiramisu" oh my baked cheese cake topped with the caramel sauce was a complete disaster , it was hard and dense felt like it was made few days back and refrigerated but tiramisu was delicious! Definitely prices were on a higher side.
The ambience was quaint and I was awestruck by the décor, upholstery!! Staff were friendly and service was quick! If you want to spend quality time with friends or go on a date L'amandier is the place !

After a year of procrastination and postponing went here on a Sunday morning for breakfast. L'amandier is known for it's unlimited breakfast on weekends. The place was pretty full. They had an array of dishes. Toast, croissants, salads, sausages, baked beans, pancakes, fresh juices and a LOT MORE. It also includes Bacon, eggs of our choice and a hot drink.
Loved the fact that they had so many items to choose from and that they were unlimited. I really liked, the omelette, bacon, sandwiches they had. Apart from that everything else was Okay.
I had the best French Breakfast in Chennai. Classic atmosphere with classic food. Amazing place to have breakfast if your pocket are happy!!

I've had multiple visits to L'amandier and hence this review might be edited multiple times.
The photos provided clearly shows what all they have to offer. Apart of this a few vegetarian options.
Breakfast Buffet
Tip 1: There is an egg counter you shouldn't miss out on. Either ask the staff of go yourself and ask for the kind of eggs you want prepared.
Tip 2: Bacon is a part of the buffet but it isn't on the counter so you need to ask the staff.
Tip3: Pancakes are a part of the buffet as well and that too needs to be ordered by you so again approach the staff.

The veg brunch that I had at this place was so simple , healthy and fulfilling. Very quite and a nice place for spending time with your dear ones.
This is one of the best places to get English breakfast in the city. The place is almost full during the weekends. There are quite a few dishes to start with fruits and end with some tea. We got bacon and pancakes to our table. The bacon would have been better if it was fried better. The pancakes went along well with the maple syrup.
The juices were not soo good...!!! The grapes were sour and there was no punch for the watermelon. The sausages lacked salt for me. All the others dishes were pretty good or average.
At athe end of the day I was not satisfied with L'mandier and it has lost that charm of being one of the best places serving some good English breakfast.

We went to this place today after a very long time. I have been here twice before. Today the ambiance was greatly set. There was live music going on. We went there by 9 and almost all the tables were empty. This helped us enjoy the rich ambiance better. We ordered a plate of Polenta sticks as a starter. The taste was really good and new. For the mains we ordered Mac and Cheese pasta and vegetable lasagna with pesto cream. The taste of lasagna was out of the world. The live music added to the taste. After spending a good one hour, I went down to take a look at their new resto bar 'The velveteen rabbit'. It's a very small and cozy bar. Their menu looked quite long. I'll pay a visit soon for sure. L'amandier is one of the best restaurants in Chennai and there is no doubt in it.

It is a French place for food and awesome ambiance. If you go during weekends have their breakfast and brunch buffet. It is just marvellous. You get to taste new dishes and have fun. The place is very big and easily accommodate large no.of people. A must for trying different cuisine.
I went with family to L'amandier for father's day. We had the lunch buffet and there was a nice selection of continental food on offer. While the selection wasn't very large, what was available was tasty. I liked that there was a nice salad bar. For the main course, I liked the grilled vegetables, paneer strudel and the chicken and fish entrées. There was a pasta and omelette station as well.
The dessert selection was limited, but what was on offer was very nice.

Early morning beach drives are something that gets me up and running at just the thought of it and this weekend it was all the more noteworthy when we finally got to tick off the much hyped weekend European Breakfasts at L'amandier after the drive. First thing that's wow about this place is their ambience. Blue French Windows amidst bright yellow walls and high ceilings with a lotta sunlight turns out to be the perfect breakfast scene to energetically start your day. Authenticating this European feel is their menu and their breakfast buffet. They also have upper floor where the seating and decor is mediocre and not as catchy and fancy.
The breakfast spread is extensive! I tried almost everything from the buffet and it was a mixed experience on the food side. The cheese omelette was the best of them all. The fried bacon was good the first time and the second time around became slightly greasy. Pancakes were fluffy and light. Crackers with different cheeses was another different and delicious part of the spread. Sausages, cereal and chicken sandwich was just about okay. The muffins and croissants were yum. There were also a couple of juices which was a good company to the meal. We also had the hot chocolate at the end of the meal and it super thick and perfect.
I was also here for dinner one Sunday evening when there also had live music. It added a classy touch to the already elegant place. Their menu had a good mix of vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes. We tried their Broccoli Soup, Chicken Schnitzel, Fusilli with Jalapeño Cream and a 3 Cheese Margherita Pizza with Olives & Jalapeño. The Pasta was the dish of the night! The super creamy sauce had just the perfect subtle hint of jalapeño and it was lick-it-off-the-bowl delicious. The soup was hearty, thick and warm with a heavy flavour broccoli and was quite a lot in quantity.
The Schnitzel was mediocre and there wasn't nothing really wow about it. The pizza had A LOTTA cheese on it and was one those really stringy pizzas, but the base was kinda a let down with it being too droopy. They don't have an extensive beverage menu and from what appealed to us we ordered 'Baby Doll' and Cold Coffee. Both of these were really good and quantity was also generous.
Service was one of those places I felt they had a problem. (This doesn't apply to the buffet) Each dish seemed to take atleast half an hour to arrive! And they even had a mix up of pizzas and the one attending to us wasn't ready to switch it to what we ordered until one of their senior staff accepted to do so. It was quite the turn-off. Prices, though slightly on the higher side, seemed very reasonable for the place and the food they delivered. It definitely is an amazing place for hearty European breakfasts and romantic dinner dates.

This place has one of the best breakfast buffets here in Chennai. I've been here quite a few times and it never disappoints. Food is great, ambiance is nice and definitely worth the price !
L' Amendier has always been my favorite getaway, I call it a getaway because everything about it is so French and it literally transports you to another world. Nestled in the heart of the city, it is convenient to get there from just about anywhere.
The decor, theme, menu, music and the warm and cordial waiters makes everything about dining there special. The menu offers an interesting spread and everything you order is downright succulent and delicious.
If you haven't been there already, you're missing something.
Lovely brunch buffets! Expensive but very good food eventhough the options are limited. There was one dish that we had too much of, a veg au gratin,we couldn't stop- it was that good! Reservations recommended.
Loved the alfredo sause pasta and chocolate pancakes. It's a must if u like creamy pastas and have a sweet tooth. This place is amazing fr cheese cakes. Must try fr foodies and any1 loving good food
