I haven't LOVED a restaurant this much till date. It's one of those places where right from the welcome drink to the desserts, not one dish disappoints you. We ate A LOT! And I felt happy full! Not the Oh my god I am so full I can't even take a sip of water kinds full! The host is AMAZING! Ambience will need a special mention. Colorful yet everything sort of merges and is very soothing! Good music! I couldn't find anything at all wrong with the place.

Nothing beats like a long drive to Juhu beach and dining at Gossip Bistro for me. I know there are umpteen number of outlets and Cafés nearby but still end up going here almost all the time.Have been there and tasted pretty much most of the exciting elements from the extensive menu they have. It has never let me down. Hands down one of the best places to chill and dine without actually worrying much about the taste.

I am pretty sure the widespread menu and its gastronomical experience will tingle your taste buds and let you forget everything. Never skip on the desserts here though😋,else you will definitely regret later.

Dishes i love from the place..
-Pumpkin and Broccoli soup(Was a Bomb)
-Prawn and Melon soup(Must try..Blindly go for it)
-Galouti Kebabs(served on Coin sized Parathas)
-Prawn Olivetti
-Herbed Chicken fingers
-Chicken Wings
-Burgers
-Lasagna
-Tender Coconut Mousse
-Tres leches layered Cake
-Mocktails

Overall:-
Will i go there again?!?
A definite yes.

Gossipbistro is one of a kind place with a interesting and unique menu. A lot of thinking has gone behind the curation of their menu. It tops the list of bistros in Chennai.
One thing is for sure , if you visiting this place once , you will keep going again and again

1)Aloo bharwan - This is going to be my mandatory order in every visit. Roasted in tandoor with a layer of mint chutney . It was hit and spicy in the outside and rich and creamy on the inside

2)Pumpkin Brocolli Soup: One of the best soups ever 👌🏻 a melange of pumpkin and spiced broccoli with pickled pear. The combination of both these work really well.

3)Yamchos - Spiced yam fried like a nacho with tomato salsa tasting like the fillings dahi papdi Chat . This is a Most recommended one.

4)Malai Cauliflower and broccoli : If you like eating the vegetables as whole . Specially for he diet conscious ones. This one is filled with yoghurt and cream

5)Garlic bread : In house freshly baked breads served with butter and a welcome drink to open your innings

6) Mixed Vegetable Pasandha : Veggies stir fried on a bed of puréed lentils and tomato cream butter gravy along with super soft Naan .Very filling and One of the best combos 😍

7)Veggie Burger : Spinach and rice patty with homemade buns . With added fries and patty . This was okayish for me.

8) Mixed Vegetable and fruit Shashlik : This is again MOST RECOMMENDED one . Tamarind , tomato and coriander sauce tossed with herbed rice along with beans and veggies

9)Eskimo Chocolate Bomb :Chocolate shell covering warm fudgy walnut brownie with Vannila ice cream. Though it’s available at many places, this was the best for me ❤️ The brownie was amazing.

10)Tender coconut mousse : This is a Signature dish of Gossip , people visit here just for this . The thick and rich mousse with perfect amounts of sugar is a treat for the tender coconut lovers

11)Fresh fruit and nut Baklava tart : Super sweet Baklava with all fruits like Kiwi , Apple , strawberry etc . With nuts and honey

12)Nutella Cheesecake : Btw Happy International Nutella day and who doesn’t want a cheesecake that’s filled with Nutella

13)Rasberry Cream cake : A mini Jar cake which was drool worthy. The cream was silky soft
.
It’s located in ECR (after VGP) but totally worth traveling that far
Do visit them :)

Ok, We went there for dinner and now lets see what we ordered
PRAWN MELON SOUP
BADSHAH PRAWNS
CHICKEN TIKKA
CHICKEN TIKKA SALAD
SKEWERED FISH
COFFEE MUTTON
POTATO SKINS
TENDER COCONUT MOUSSE
.
.
The prawn melon soup tasted scrumptious and way unique too. The prawn kebab was well cooked and it had the real flavors in every bite of it. The chicken was tender and was cooked with perfection. The potato skins was a new concept which consisted of different layers of cheese and jalpenos in it. The chicken tikka salad was too good, that we finished it off in minutes. Coming next to Coffee Mutton was a new try from Gossip Bistro, which had the mutton marinated in filter coffee and then prepared. The taste was different but good. Finishing with their most famous Tender coconut mousse, we just finished in seconds, it was fantastic. The service was good and loved their theme which was too different from other bistros.
.
.
Must tries are Prawn Melon Soup, Potato Skins, Tandoori Menu, Salad, and never miss Tender coconut mousse and Prawn Melon soup

Loved the ambiance of classic rock playing in the background along with interesting decor. Decent parking. Service was good. Food was amazing loved the beef steak, very well cooked. Would definitely go back to try out the Italian and tandoori section. The price of each dish is very good not at all expensive. Worth the penny paid.

Went with friends on the New year eve. The ambience was really good and mesmerising. The service was top rated. Didnt like 2 dishes in veg although wont complain about it since was trying something new which the taste buds didn’t go with.
But overall the experience was really great and the dessert was a cherry on the cake.

For the longest time, my dining options during drives down ECR has been restricted to a few popular food joints, which have typically been a non comparable to the city units - in other words, food stops has never been a motivation while driving down this blissful road that connects Chennai and Pondicherry.

One meal here and I know what is now a mandatory pit stop for me.

Ambience
We visited on Christmas night and loved the festive decoration. The dessert display at the entrance definitely catches your eyes and the seating is comfortable. Would like to visit again on a regular day to detail this section better.

Service
They were a packed house and our orders came at a decent pace despite that. The staff seemed reasonably aware but the owner Hari is somebody you should meet and ask for suggestions, if he happens to be around. He guided us through our orders and we were glad we bonded over the fine selection of dishes that he recommended.

Food
What we tried and what impressed
1. Pumpkin brocolli soup
I love non vegetarian soups, but I would prefer this anyday over my non veg orders. Definitely among my favourite soups and I loved how they blended these two colors/flavours; if I am still forced to pick one from the two - pumpkin > broccoli.

2. Prawn Olivetti
Love the generous dose of olive oil and the flavour packed dry mixture of garlic, chill flakes and olive. Something I would surely order again.

3. Aam Limbu Chicken Tikka
Nice citrus flavour from the lemons, but the flavouring made the tikkas a little more softer than how I would like. Some more tandoor time could help.

My wife had veg starters, so she would write about it.

4. For mains I had a dish from their Christmas menu - fried duck strips with a slightly sweet sauce and black rice. Thanks to Hari’s generous idea of giving me black sauce, I loved the dish.

5. Tender coconut mousse
Chef Anand and his tender coconut mousse is among Chennai’s most evergreen desserts. At Gossip, it just got better. Try it and let me know if you agree.

While we did try quite a bit, I think we have hardly tried 5% of their total spread - which is the exciting reason for ensuring I revisit them more often than I can (stay at the other extreme end of the city).

Pricing
They are priced reasonable for the setup and food quality.

On a summary note, this place is a must try during your drive down ECR. Even otherwise, it is worth the effort as the food is top notch.

P.s - Given their footfall and fan base, would definitely recommend booking a table if you are visiting on a public holiday or in large groups.

A perfect lunch with my partner after a long time. I really liked the ambience and the interiors were decorated nicely so that you get a fresh feel when you enter .The seatings were well organised and placed perfectly . The staffs were very friendly and their service was too good . I came to knew about this place from my friend TheFoodChauvinist They suggested me to give a go for it and not have anything else in mind. I really liked the food taste right from the starters till the end with desserts. They even gave the tender coconut mousse as complimentary which I liked the most in taste. This dessert will melt you away like anything. I’m sure will visit again . A perfect place to dine with your friends/families . So what else go ahead and Reserve it .

I went only for desserts cos I had a heavy lunch in my home. Maybe next time I’ll review their food.

Tender coconut mousse - a highly rated must eat in this restaurant. I gave a try and it was out of the world. It was too delicious. It was served in a tender coconut itself. A must try.

Chocolate mud cake - a high level pastry cake with a vanilla scoop. I thought it will be over chocolaty by seeing it, but I was not. A perfect treat for sweet tooth.

Both of the desserts were amazing and will check them out again for their food menu!

My bestie is a big fan of Gossip and we went here for dinner.

The bistro is gorgeous, with its bright lights combined with colourful furniture, posters and fixtures hanging from the ceiling. The place was pretty crowded, but we managed to get a table for two. The menu is very continental focused and actually has a lot of inventive things to offer.

We got a glass of lemon ice tea and a bread basket on the house, which was a nice touch.

I ordered the rose water goli soda to drink and that was a fun moment of nostalgia!

We were supremely hungry, so we decided to split a soup and get two mains. For soup we went for the pumpkin-brocolli soup with pickled pair and mains we ordered a steamed fish and a veg bake.

The pumpkin-broccoli soup was very instagram friendly and loved the presentation, but taste wise, I thought the pumpkin side was a little too sweet for my palate and kind of overwhelmed the entire dish.

Both the mains were very good though. The fish came on a bed of mash, veggies and rice and was tasty and filling, but I would have liked less chilli flakes! (infact it should be kept optional). The generously proportioned bake dish like wise was filled with veggies and quite hit the spot.

we decided to skip dessert and leave it for another trip

Service was brisk and professional

This place is a must visit for the continental food lovers. Fantastic spread and finger licking good food. Pancakes, waffles and baked vegetables are a must try here. However the second time we felt that the staff was more attentive to the foreign guest and did not attend us or the others properly. It definitely felt weird.

Finally visited Gossip Fusion Bistro...After hearing a lot of gossip about the place in terms of ambience, decor, food and specifically their desserts, went there to check whether it’s worth the gossip. Reached there early from my work place since I'd planned well before and also, had to take my bike as it was quite far from where I live. It borders Uthandi and Kannathur on ECR road, just parallel to HP Petrol bunk.

To be frank, I hurried myself as I was very hungry and couldn't sit in my workplace any further. Reached there by 5:45 pm and I was greeted well and when I entered- wooowwww 😮

The place was lovely with extremely wonderful decor, cozy and well-arranged to look elegant. To be specific, I loved the painting of an angel which was straight across the kitchen entrance. First Love was the ambience.

My hyper excitement for being here early resulted in little disappointed since the dinner menu starts only at 7 pm. The person there said that only very few items on the menu were available.

The next question that popped out of my mouth was about the tender coconut mousse, owing to my sweet tooth. Actually my only intention to visit the place was to try the tender coconut mousse. @hungryzombie had suggested few more items, which I couldn't try as I had arrived too early. So I was punished for being too early.

Tender coconut mousse (white lady): Who says no to white lady? I won’t 😉. It was served in a fresh tender coconut. After gulping the mousse you can find the coconut flesh. It was delicious and yummmmm 😍. I would travel longer if required to have this one. A must try!

Hot chocolate pot (dark lady): Don’t think that I'm racist, but never say no to dark lady either.

The molten chocolate pudding in a pot is served with a chocolate and brandy mixed sauce. Adding sauce to the pudding, I finished it in a flash. In love with this dark lady ❤

My second visit to this place happened for desserts again, and this time it was for the Eskimo bomb, I didn’t find this huge Eskimo anywhere else for this price, and the brownie and vanilla ice cream was even huge portions. I finished all myself having this chocolaty heaven. And yeah I had the tender coconut mousse again.

I will be trying more and adding up the posts soon...

Gossip fusion bistro is not all about gossip and yeah, it’s worth the gossip...!! 😃👌🏻

Gossip fusion bistro was my dessert hopping place for almost 3 years, when I used to drive back after a tiring day at work. All alone I have been almost having desserts only. Hearing tons of good and happy reviews about their food geared up to have a late lunch at this place that too with lovely people around.

No more stories, straight to food now: Started with fresh in house made bread.

Pumpkin & Broccoli soup: Being a pumpkin person, it was a pure mix of pumpkin and broccoli bringing in a subtle & creamy flavor to the taste.

Prawn & Melon soup: Does this combination go well…?? This is what I had in my mind after hearing lots of positive reviews about this soup. Creamy puree with slices of melon bringing a crunchy feeling whenever had a bite of it. Served with grilled prawns, the combo went excellent. Yeah am convinced now.

Yamachos: Heard of nachos, but what it is…?? Yam (Karuna Kizhangu) fried and spiced a bit to crispy
texture topped with chopped veggies, sour cream and salsa. I loved it so much.

Potato Skins: skinned and half cut potatoes filled with jalapenos, olives, mozzarella cream cheese baked well served with sour cream. It was equal of cheese or potatoes or cream, and that’s the reason made me fall for it. How could I explain this more….?? Just yum 

Chilly Beef: Spiced and tossed small pieces of beef. It was soggy with the masala, but each pieces tasted so good and the spicy juicy flavor was in each bite. And yeah am craving for it right now.

Mutton Ularthiyathu: Had tried the same version of beef and being my favorite one I expected this to be the same. Yeah it was well tossed with masala made dry enough with cubed of mutton pieces. Flavor of the masala, and aroma of it was I can’t come out, yeas I like it.

Skewered Fish: Thin slices of fish marinated with masala skewered with mild oil and masala served with mango mustard green chilly chutney. Fish was fresh catch and it tasted good even.

Grilled Zucchini & BBQ chicken Pizza (Half and half pizza): Grilled zucchini, bell peppers, corn and ricotta cheese topped over a thin crust pizza. Another was BBQ chicken, thought there would be more of BBQ sauce used, but it wasn’t much as I expected it to be. BBQ sauce tossed chicken, sweet pepper, jalapenos, cream cheese topped over a thin crust pizza. Everything was in equal portions which made the pizza taste yummy.

Prawns Olivetti: Fresh and small pieces of prawns fried in olive oil, chili flakes, black olives, lime juice, coriander and garlic. Tangy and juicy flavor of prawns made this starter so excellent.

Coffee Mutton: Does it sound crazy….?? Sliced and roasted mutton pieces rolled and tossed over a sauce of rum, black pepper, paprika, oregano and the special ingredient is the filter coffee. The additives were made into a sauce which made the mutton pieces taste a bit of coffee and pepper spicy. I felt the coffee had an impact in my first bite of each mutton pieces, and once the sauce wipes out it made me feel that I miss the flavor. Creamy mashed potatoes were the sides of this beautifully curated dish.

Mixed Vegetable and fruit Shashlik: grilled vegetables, dices of cottage cheese, pineapple and watermelon over a mild tomato, tamarind and coriander sauce served with same masala tossed rice. Baked beans, carrots and cauliflower were served in separate which also went well with the sauce. Didn’t have much of it, since one of pure non-veg person loved and finished it almost.

You know next comes my favorite part: DESSERTS

Even though you would have read more of desserts above, few of the other desserts were there to be experienced and explained about:

Fresh fruit and nut baklava tart: Baklava puff made into a cup tart, the cup was filled with mascarpone cream and fruits topped with finely chopped nuts. Crunchiness of the puff with a soggy cream, fresh fruits and a last bite of nuts, Whooooooo made this fusion man…?? Loved the taste, I could finish It all by myself and no sharing for this here after.

Tres leches Layer cake: It is a Italian based fluffy cake soaked in three levels and kind of milk say evaporated, condensed milk and heavy cream. Fresh piece of fruits and cream were dressed over the spongy milky cake. I was denying having this one since all of my previous visits since I used to crave for their tender coconut mousse alone. But am feeling it now, I had missed this earlier.

Nutella cheesecake: More of the chocolate and equal portion of cheesiness. Nutella wasn’t topped over the regular cheesecake. That’s the secret of cheesecake; the smooth silky Nutella was mixed and baked with cheese. Base of the cheesecake was again the chocolate crumbles.

Tender coconut mousse: In a single word, “ECSTATIC” is what I feel whenever I see or have this dessert here. If you think am building over hype for this dessert. Please go and try and say it back to me.

End of the lunch era here.

Here comes the long awaited Sunday only early breakfast buffet at this place. Okay it took so much of time to travel from one end of the city to another part very early to have it. But I made myself to get up early, and being out of curiosity I wanted to try them out for sure. So I dropped in the next weekend after I had their lunch. Starting from 7:30 to 10:00 AM for Rs. 499/- which is a great deal.

Okay lets go to what they served:

To drink they have butter milk, watermelon fresh extract and iced tea. Had a sip of each and each were good but ill prefer the watermelon extract for sure.

Then had the strawberry yogurt which was so fresh and yummy, being a yogurt person I loved it.

Blueberry and mixed fruit jams, butter to have with assorted bread and croissants. Also they had little cute chocolate and classic muffins. I prefer muffins here, that too the chocolate ones.

Then comes the freshly cut and chopped pieces of fresh pineapple, watermelons, papaya and banana.

Tomato, garlic and basil grilled salad: this was my favorite one. Juicy tomato with very fine chops of garlic and basil leaves.

Raw papaya and mango salad: Being this one regular at my home, I didn’t find it much interesting to me which doesn’t mean it was bad either.

Tossed green salad: This was more of sprouts and green veggies over a lime juice.

Hot and cold milk kept separately to have with corn and Kellogg’s.

Going to the south Indian options they serve:

- Pine apple kesari which was excellent like how my mom makes for me at home with more of ghee and cashew bite in each spoon.

- Spicy mashed potato cutlet

- Medhu vadai

- Sambar – typical gravy of south Indian especially Tamil Nadu based sambar.

- Veg stew: creamy vegetables chopped and cooked stew with equal portion of coconut as it must be.

- Tomato and coconut chutney

- Idiyappam and idly: Homemade taste.

- Veg Kuruma which went well with paratha.

- Chicken gravy: My mother used to make this same variety of chicken gravy which I used to have with Ghee or podi dosa, and I tried the same here which made me feel overwhelmed.

Coming to the thai based food – Khow suey: Am not a noodle person, but they made a fusion in this for me which I loved it to the core. A small bowl of half split noodle and steamed rice. Noodle and rice was topped with khow suey sauce, of which the noodle was mixed with eggs and rice were topped with fish Manchurian and sausages. The both were dressed with coriander leaves, lime juice, roasted onions. Okay am going there again for this.

Now the continental part:

Baked saucy beans: protein rich saucy beans made out of tomato puree.

Baked vegetables: finely cooked vegetables like finely diced potatoes, beans, cauliflower over a creamy texture of milky coconut sauce. These were mixed and baked enough to retain the taste of the sauce in each vegetables added.

Minced beef stew: This was excellent of the beef gravy stew had in my life. Spicy level was even mild to go with plain rice, paratha or dosa or even idlies. But Idiyappam was my choice.

They have made to order options available from table too:

- Scrambled eggs, plain, cheese or masala omelet, fried eggs and even masala scrambled eggs. Tried the onion and mushroom stuffed cheesy omelet which was so yummy.

- Plain, masala, onion, podi, ghee or egg dosa: Tried the ghee and podi topped dosa and as mentioned above personally felt my mom’s touch in it.

- Pan cakes: Topped with Nutella was so perfect in taste.

- Waffles with banana and cream and the spongy waffle were topped with honey.

You think I missed out something this time, and to your surprise I didn’t. Tender coconut mousse for which I paired with waffles topped honey. Seriously a heavenly combination, try them next time you visit and let me know about it.

Coming to their service and ambiance, it’s a great applause from me and my friends since they are doing great and being polite every time with a wide smile on their face.

Waiting to try out their festive launch menu and update it further 

More than 5 would be my choice cause am overwhelmed with their food, service etc.

Gossip Bistro has been on my bookmark list for ages. And I got lucky that I visited them after my mini get away from pondy. Thanks to my good friends for surprising me.

Definitely fell in love with the place. The colorful ambience, decor and flowers on the table sets a great mood and good vibes. I have heard many say 'Dining at gossip is worth the drive'. Well I now know why people said that.

Gossip Bistro is all about fusion food. My lunch scenes from this place was just amazzzinnng. While one waits for the food to be served, you are served with a complimentary drink and some freshly baked breads that are just the best.

Soup-

Prawn and the melon-

One might wonder the combination is weird. But trust me you will go WOW after having the first sip. Thick creamy soup with chunks of melon and the prawn is the best fusion I have had for a soup. Absolutely loved it.

Starters-

Tempura Prawn- The Prawn tasted so yum. It was perfectly marinated and with the dips the dish was just yum.

Galouti Kebab- Super soft melt in the mouth kebabs, perfectly flavoured.

Prawn Olivetti- Prawn is my favorite sea food and this dish gave me all the right reasons to love seafood more. Loved the flavors of the dish and the style the prawn was cooked.

Chicken on sticks- Chicken Chunks served in skewers accompanied with the yummy peanut sauce and mint chutney was just perfect. The dish is like a satay. With the sticky sauce you might have to get a little messy with your hands.

Potato wedges- A good size of potato fried and served with mayo dressing was just yum. The potato skin was crispy and overall tasted yum was served with a yogurt based dip.

Main course-

Stuffed chicken breast-Stuffed chicken bed served on a bed of sauce was the best thing I could have had. Oh my the sauce was so damn yummy , creamy and delicious. The chicken was cooked to perfection with the right amount of flavours was just the best.

Grilled chicken- Grilled chicken with red wine sauce. Woah the sauce again was the highlight. Loved it absolutely. One should try it to know how it feels.

Egg biriyaniiii- Biriyaniiii was packed with flavours and tasted good.

Dessert-
How can one step out of Gossip without trying their desserts. As I have been dying to try their tender coconut mousse my first choice was that.

Tender coconut mousse- My never ending love for this dessert. I absolutely loved it. The texture was super smooth and creamy. It was absolutely delectable.

Treat leches layered cake - This one became another favourite dish. Soft layers of sponge cake topped with colourful fruits and the creamy milky sauce was heaven. Not so sweet. The dessert is perfect for those looking for less sugar.

Nutella cake- The taste was amazing but felt the texture was a little too hard ,as we struggled to dig into the dessert. Probably it was freezed was more time than the usual. The flavors were amazing though.

This is a place every Chennai vasi should visit. The food, the service , the ambience are just perfect. I am sure no one would go back disappointed. The above review also includes my experience from my second visit. Also, let me confess that I am absolutely in love with the place and can't wait to visit them real soon.

Hearty Eaters’ Diary Jayasuriyan Alagarsamy Kritaj Ashok thanks for making my day and I absolutely loved the surprise ❤️

When All senior bloggers, foodies and other customers claimed that Gossip bistro's Onam is something you shouldn't miss i did not take it seriously as all i could think how much difference can a restaurant make to a normal food..All this eagerness led me try out their Onam Sadhya yesterday..

As soon as i entered i literally felt as if i have been transported to a place where Onam is being celebrated with love..Welcomed with pookolam and an ambiance done with so much love and care..But the best part were the owners, managers and servers whose care and love made me feel as if i was being welcomed into their home and not some restaurant..Loved the experience,..

They do have the normal sadhya and also Non veg variant for ppl like me..with a spread of almost 33 items i ordered a non veg one right away...Loaded with fish, chicken and mutton gravies in addition to sambar and rasam along with 5 sides and other chutney and pickles also came a fried fish and 3 desserts...But we did start of with banana chip nachos which was a keralized version of nachos topped with tamarind and mango chutneys along with onions and tomatoes..Must try and i just loved it..Pazhampori/ fried banana fritters was another starter which i could'nt get enough off..

Option of red or white rice is available and unlimited helpings of ghee..The gravies were just too good with each one ending up better than the previous ones..Pair it with some yummy sides and man i was in for a treat..Too good..And to finish of we got three desserts all of which were just top notch..

Yes they did make a difference as the whole experience is not something i have experienced anywhere else..Priced at 800rs it might seem a bit high but its the 800rs i wont mind paying happily if the whole experience is such overwhelming...

The place is a really good. The ambince is lit. Went over here for lunch with my friend. Tried some European food out here. The food over here is really good. I loved it! For the desert, I tried eskimo chocolate bomb, it was really cool. Do check this place out! A perfect spot for hanging out with friends and also your date. :)

As the name suggests, it is a good place to hang out and chat (or gossip), and a good meal is a bonus. This was our stopover for lunch on our way to ECR. The ambience is lovely and trendy in a way. The walls have many posters on them. Seating is available for groups of various sizes. A complimentary welcome drink and bread basket were good appetizers. Our food orders were grilled chicken breast (served with herb rice and veggies), seafood lasagna, chili beef fry and banana flower fritters. The beef fry was tasty, but a bit too saucy for our liking. The banana flower was something new we tasted, deep fried and served with hot sauce or chutney. The main course dishes had good quantity and was very filling. We were that full, we did not order dessert. Their Sunday breakfast buffet has great reviews, so will plan that for the next ECR outing, including trying out desserts and fresh bakes. Hospitality is top notch! The waiters were very courteous and made sure we enjoyed our food. The cost is a bit on the higher side, but I felt it was worth the quantity and service offered. Table booking is recommended, as this place can get crowded on weekends. Good parking space is available, and they have Valet too. This place is definitely worth a visit if you are on ECR.

Although I visit a lot of restaurants and am a foodie, I have never fancied writing a review. But this place has become like my favorittteee one in Chennai. So, here's my review on Gossip Fusion Bistro.
#excellentfood is the tag I can give this place.. Have been to this place twice.. The first time was actually through zomato.. But the second time it was my thorough insistance that I landed there again with my friends. Awesome food and excellent service. The menu itself stands apart and is a perfect synonym to the name of the place - fusion.

To start off with the food, yamachos is my favorite amongst everything else. Apart from that, the brocoli and pumpkin soup, the fish curry, and the biriyani is a must try. I'm not sure if I can pick one from the desserts, cuz everything is a must try; my fav being the coconut pudding and the chocolate bomb.

Do give this place a try. One of the best places in Chennai!

Having visited them multiple times its always been the desserts that I have tried, unfortunately it took so long for me to try their main menu offerings. Possibly the best company I could ask for was the highlight of what was an overcast morning followed by the normal scorching heat in the afternoon.
Am not going to bore you with deets about ambience and service, they were good and SPOILER ALERT the food was too and is worth your drive down 🤙🏼

What we had,
- Pumpkin and Broccoli Soup
A perfect mix of pumpkin and spiced broccoli with the texture being creamy much, it looks so good with the colour variations and the taste is so subtle yet profound, a perfect way to start of your meal.

- Prawn and Melon Soup
Ok this right here is a weird favourite for me, first the grilled prawns are served on top which I thought acts as the crunch element in the soup but no. Two sips and I had no interferece, but in the the third I bit on a watermelon which took me back like whaaaat 😂. Again a good one, so much elements it surprises you much, did for me 🙈

- Yamachos
Yam + Nachos = Yamachos. Well it's certainly not your normal nachos, the yam is fried to crisp and spiced a bit whilst serving along with salsa and topped with sour cream. I think its a little healthier than your regular ones but it doesn't give the satsifaction of the real ones. Nevertheless the sour cream and salsa make well for it 😋

- Potato Skins
You're served with like six ¾th sliced potatoes which look like they are topped with cheese and baked. But one bite into it and all your senses go for a twirl, its filled with a mozarella cream cheese stuffing and some olives which give a little tang. Damn impressed with this 🙌

- Chilli Beef
You would have had this in a million places and every place would have its own version and I honestly feel this as one of the most underrated Indochinese dish that actually if preferred is the best and yes I did have THE BEST here. The sauce was the right amount of runny and the pieces were cooked right and felt soft to the bite if paired with some rice this would have topped my list ☺️

- Mutton Ularthiyathu
Being a fan of Kerala cuisine, ularthiyathu gives me the sense of a dry side which can be munched on over and over again... a dish close to my heart and here the mutton ularthiyathu was perfect and I have no issues whatsoever. The charred coconut slices were a cherry on top as well.

- Tawa Fish
Fish marinated in a spicy chili marinade and fried on a tawa to crisp was just about right and the spice level too, a perfectly cooked fish always says a lot about a place, served with mint chutney and onions salad ended up giving a fresh and clean plate, it was that good.

- Pizza (Grilled Zucchini and BBQ Chicken)
A normal offering these days, but which can also easily turn into a disaster. Here it checked all the boxes right from the thin base to the not so overpowering toppings. Everything was just about right 🤗

- Veg Shashlik
Again a VEG dish woowed me, I am clearly not sure as to what took me but the combination of the herbed rice and the gravy (a subtle yet spice noteworthy cream of a dish) I literally did clean the plate to its grains. One drawback I would say was the the veggies on the skewer was big and and required a breakdown to chew in peace.

- Coffee Mutton
Yes, as the name says it is has a sauce of filter coffee braised and infused into the mutton. Probably the most bizzare combination I have tried until now and surprisingly it was really good, one bite you could feel the taste of coffee and after a few minutes it subsides and doesn't leave any much after taste (worked well for me)

- Nutella Cheesecake

- Tres Leche Layer Cake

- Fresh Fruit n Nut Baklava Tart

- Tender Coconut Mousse
Anyone who follows food or does his homework before going to a place is well informed about this very dish, probably THE BEST coconut mousse that's available and guaranteed winner in every way. MUST TRY 💯

Special mention to the owners and the minds behind the menu, they indeed are doing a great job and was hearty to see them succeed in it. A conversation to cherish ♥️
Should soon try their Sunday Brunch 🤞🏼

Had an amazing experience here. The food is out of the world. We had ordered mutton keema pasta which was something I have never had before. It had the perfect spicy taste. Then we had the stuffed chicken breast with mashed potatoes. The meat was perfectly cooked along with stuffing. The final touch was their famous tender coconut mousse. This was definitely their signature dish and everyone must try this atleast once. The flavour of coconut and the mousse consistently surprisingly went well. The staff were also very helpful, mindful of the toddler we had in tow. We will definitely go for this restaurant again. Keep up the good work guys!

Gossip Fusion Bistro needs no introduction from winning hearts to winning awards year after year they have have done everything right..A place with bad aspects cant achieve this feat and this was the only reason that kept me tempted to visit this place even though its almost 30kms from my home and for a person who rarely visits the ECR this has been quite a task...But nevertheless good things are somehow bound to happen and a similar situation came up when i got a chance to try this place over the weekend with a few friends of mine..Reached the place even though it was raining pretty badly as i did not want to miss chance..enough of the blabbering lets gets into the review..

Located on the ECR near the Uthandi Bus stand and in the complex that also house Green trends and other businesses..For a person visiting the first time the front look made me think that this place is too small but man was i surprised as i entered the place..Yes its on the smaller side but the area is quite well used with some spacious seating..The Bakery section up front is quite a welcoming site for the sweettooths..The Ambiance with a green tint gave a pleasing vision as soon as i entered..The Ceiling done with mechanical items cant miss the eye..The flowers on the table to the paintings on the wall speak a lot about the amount of work and passion put in by the owners..Applause for that..

The Service was another good aspect with servers taking care of each aspect at the place with care..I saw that passion among them that most of places miss these days..The owners too on rounds greeting customers and asking for feedback was a welcoming site..

Given Below are items we tried and my take on them..

Pumpkin & Broccoli Soup : To put it simply i havent had a such a yummy soup which included any of these 2 ingredients..Perfect in ratio where one was battling with other for dominance...The Creamy texture just left me asking for more..This is a must try for sure..Veggies you are in for a treat as this hands down is the best veg soup i have tried in my life..

Prawn & Melon Soup : This was cream based soup with pieces of spiced water melon served along grilled prawn on a skewer stick..The texture of the soup here too was a winner as that thick creamy consistency is rarity these days..The Grilled prawn was perfectly spiced and was really good..

Potato Skins : I never knew that potato skins could taste this good..Such a simple dish so well made that i was just literally going into trance mode after a bite..The blast of flavors from the cheese clubbed with the olives and jalapenos was too much for me..Literally longing for more..It was served with a sour cream dip that complemented very well..

Yamachos : These ppl dont do anything Normal...A simple dish like nachos was given a twist with nachos chips made out of yam that were crispy fried in a spicy marinade..Topped with salsa along with sour cream..Worked out pretty well and i quite liked it as it was quite a different and a unique item to try...

Mutton Ulurthiyathu : The famous kerala based dish usually made with beef was done with mutton that was cooked to perfection and stir fried with coconut slices and topped with curry leaves..For a person who loves spice this was perfect..Loved the very aroma of it and the taste was just too good..

Chili Beef : Hands down the yummiest and spiciest chili beef i have had in my life...The name was apt for the taste of the dish..The beef was perfectly cooked/stir fried in a spicy sauce along with veggies..the Chili used were really good and man another dish that am longing for now..

Tawa Fish : Fish cubes marinated in a spicy chili based marinade and fried on a tawa..The Crispiness from the tawa was perfect and spicy taste and the perfectly cooked fish was just too good..Served with mint chutney and onions slices..Must try for sure..

Prawn Olivetti : Seafood is often known for is smell and it requires some fresh catch and some experienced cooking to remove this smell and prawns especially its really hard..But here it was perfect..This dish made with prawns stir fried in olive oil along with olives and topped with chili flakes and coriander..Slight hint of lime juice was also there..One of the good prawn based dishes had in recent times...

Half n Half Pizza : Was served half n Half pizza where in one side was a yummy bbq chicken while the other was veg Grilled Zucchini..One thing common in both was the generous use of some good quality cheese..The cheesiness is something that is missing in most pizza serving places in chennai and here they have nailed it..That the only common thing as the taste in both the sides was quite distinct and yummy too..The Bbq chicken pizza was a bliss for a non veg lover like me and the bbq sauce used was quite unique and not the usual ones you find everywhere...The Grilled zucchini was also good but i loved the bbq chicken one more..

Veg Shashlik : Grilled paneer along with veggies and fruits topped with gravy and served with a helping of rice..The combination of gravy along with rice and paneer was really good and an wholesome dish in all..

Coffee Mutton : A unique dish in chennai for sure..The pros of this dish was the sauce/gravy which was well made as the coffee was perfectly infused in the gravy...Served with a small helping of mashed potatoes which too were really good..The con from the point of view of a person who is not a fan of mutton is that this dish is supposedly cooked using the braised method which leaves the fat on the mutton as such..And also the meat pieces were big for me as the by time i finish the piece am left with only the taste of meat as the coffee based gravy goes missing..If they find a way to balance it out this dish could go a really long way..

Desserts : This was the main factor that pulled me to this place and i was not disappointed..

Tender Coconut Mousse : Served in a coconut shell as such this creamy white mousse topped with cane sugar was beautiful to look at and tempt to try this increased even more..One spoonful and i realized that all those reviews about this dish were true and i have quite delayed my visit..Such creamy texture with subtle but perfect sweetness was just too good of an eating experience..Loved it completely and will be back for more..

Tres Leches Layer Cake : Supposedly sponge cake soaked with condensed milk based liquid and topped with whipped cream and fresh fruits..This too had a subtle sweetness to it even with the soaked caked..The addition of fresh fruitsactually balanced out pretty well..

Fruit n Nut Bakalava Tart : Bakalava made into tart form with minute pistachio fillings..Topped with fresh whipped cream and some fresh variety of fruits..The combination worked out pretty well with the crispyness from the tart being intact till the last bite and creaminess from the cream being just perfect..

Nutella CheeseCake : The best nutella based dessert i have tried in chennai..The Smooth silky texture of the cheesecake left us speechless for sometime..The Crispy layer in the bottom balanced out the smoothness from the cheesecake pretty well...Must try for Nutella and cheesecake lovers..

Ginger Lemon Soda : Finished of the meal with ginger lemon soda..Pretty normal one but made really well and gave refreshing feeling..

Verdict : Definitely Recommended...

How do i finish the review for this place as each dish speaks for itself and barring one dish i did not have any issue whatsoever..Infact i loved many dishes and even longing for more and i definitely will be back for more..They proved that all those winning hearts and awards was not some kind of luck but sheer hardwork and passion for the food served...After my experience at Gossip i have been left with 2 distinct thoughts...One half of me feels for not being able to visit this place all these years while the other feels that the wait was worth it..And definitely Gossip Fusion Bistro is gonna see more of me and quite often..."Vidra Vandiya ECR ku"

Amidst the quirkiness ,a certain warm embodied by this place welcomes you to take a cosy corner and savour their incredible menu .The scrumptious sea food pasta was was silky ,creamy and generously loaded with sea food delicacies .The lemon chicken with the freshness of lemon and basil leaves left us satisfied with a full belly .The empty dessert compartment in our stomach also found solace in the delicate tender coconut mousse that felt light and gentle to our taste buds .

Ironically , the act of gossiping is likely to be rare in Gossip because here most of the talking is done by food .

I love visiting Gossip! They offer freshly baked bread and ice tea upon arrival complimentary. My favourite dishes here are their burgers, and stir fried vegetables with peanut chili rice. I give it a 4, because they can definitely improve on their overall service, and it gets too crowded on the weekends, losing its laid back ambience.

Bonus points for convenient valet parking and the precursor of a beautiful ECR drive before your meal.

Been to this place for a weekend lunch after a movie at Mayaajal. It was quite crowded, however we got our tables quickly. Both service and food were great, only con I found their red sauce pasta a little too sour (too much tomatoes maybe).. Otherwise from the starters to the desserts, everything was great.

Looking forward to another visit.

This hefty fella's called The Rodeoman and I'm wondering why I've never ordered it before. The bun is soft and the chunky, juicy beef patty is perfectly seasoned. There's also slices of tomato, lettuce, gherkins, fries and an egg that I asked not to be included. A little messy to eat but so so good! The side of salad with its tangy dressing is the perfect companion to this burger.

For dessert, we had

Happened to visit This place a couple of weeks back and I’ve been wanting to come here for ever!
First up the ambience is super cute and cozy an Ethernet interiors are so creative and unique!
Service was good and quick too.

For starters we had veg but two of my friends were vegetarians!
Starter: Madras Curry Cottage Cheese
Tasted like pakka home made curry in a tamilians house. Perfect spice and yummy gravy. Felt like the panneer was a little less and almost got submerged in the gravy.

Main course:
Veg: Pasta with Pesto and Basil
It had the strong taste and fragrance of pesto and basil and tastes good. Felt it was a little bit dry, because I like my pastas to me super saucy always.

Non-veg: Sea food lasagna
Had a variety of sea food from prawns to squids covered by a layer of cheese. I’m drooling when I’m typing this. Have this ONLY if you LOVE LOVE LOVE sea food. I am a sea food addict, so I absolutely enjoyed this.

Dessert:
We were super full by this time but how can leave without trying out their desserts?
Tender Coconut mousse: is their signature dish and it definitely stole the show! I hate tender coconut, I drink it only because it’s good for health, so you can imagine if I say how much I loved it! The texture and consistency was mind blowing. It was so effortlessly consumed.

Eskimo Chocolate Bomb:
I only took a video of the chocolate bomb, the picture only has the brownie inside the huge chocolate ball that covered the perfect slice of brownie and ice cream. Even though we were super full, we finished the desserts in less than 5 mins.

Over all. Great place with a good value for money. The bill amount was a lot lesser than what we had expected. It had only come around ₹1600 which is-great because they’re got some brilliant food out there!

Happy eating!

Went on a long drive with mom, and stopped by for desserts.

Had the following:

1) Nutella cheescake – A generous slice of nutella based cheesecake very scrumptious and mouth-watering. (Go for this if you love cheesecakes)

2) Tender coconut mousse – Ordered based on my cousin’s recommendation. This was served chill in an empty tender coconut shell. It was a perfect summer dessert , very tasty and soothing. (Must try, if you like coconut based desserts)

3) Eskimo Choco Bomb #Personal_Favorite - Typical chocolate brownie and ice cream dessert, but with the chocolate bomb twist. Being a chocoholic, this dessert got me high on chocolate.😋 The delicious chocolate syrup and warm brownie taste still lingers as I write this review.🤤

The ambience was quiet and peaceful with mild music. They also had beautifully painted and decorated interiors.

Will definitely come back for a breakfast/ lunch stop over.

One of the most prettiest and fanciest places in ECR for Italian, Continental and all kinds of food.

No doubt, they have already made it up to the list of Chennai's finest places. The prices are worth it as the taste is impeccable.

Specially went to have a taste of their very famous tender coconut mousse and brownie. And boy! It was FANTASTIC! Finally understood what all the hype was about.

The coconut mousse is so carefully kept inside a carved coconut that is so very eye pleasing. And the mousse was so rich in taste and consistency. The brownie on the other hand came with a small cup of hot chocolate that tasted CRAZY AWESOME!🤩

I visited there around 8 pm on Monday. Even though the weekday, the restaurant was crowded. I understood this is a popular restaurant. I ordered Grilled Beef Steak and Punpukin and Broccoli Soup. Beef was so juicy, and I feel the quality of meat is the same level as the bangalore famous restaurant that I have visited. Soup is also very good and creamy. Staff service was good. The restaurant was lively because it was crowded. (A little bit noisy for me...) but by considering food quality and the staff service, I can recommend you to visit. Ordered below for one person it was enough. For your reference. Grilled Beef Steak : 520inr Punpukin and Broccoli Soup : 220inr

Decent place situated right on the roadside with space for parking. It can get crowded . Food was good . Can't really call it a dessert bar as the dessert options are limited but the dishes available are good . Pastries like muffins are also available and are really good . The service is also decent and food came in pretty quick . Overall a good place .
