Thank you Little Italy restaurant. Yesterday, i called and ordered directly at the restaurant. I stay in adyar and i called up a number listed in the take away /delivery menu. Had ordered pasta, lasagne, pizza and some starters as well. Little did i realize that i had called anna nagar branch and ordered !!!! I went to besant ngr brnch and waited to pick my food. (my mistake of ordering at a wrong location). I was shocked to realize my mistake and it was huge amount of food and money. But this is where their cuatomer service amazed me. Mr.Suvho Roy and Mr.Tarun Sharma calmly attended to me and gave me an option of delivering it through dunzo. They used their app and delivered the food to my address ! They kept messaging me till i received the food at home and they even asked me if food has to be reheated at besant nagar restaurant. I made a mistake and could have spoiled our entire dinner plan but these gentleman ensured that the food does not go waste and it reaches us at our home. Thank you gentlemen.
The food tasted yumm and entire family enjoyed the lovely pastas and lasagne !
Please share this with the chef too.

Nostalgia. My 1st ever cozy restaurant experience was at their Nungambakkam branch. My love for lasagna and sizzling brownie started here. Always the nest lasagna and pasta.
Quick Review: An amazing place with great veg Italian food.
Detailed Review:
Location: Just behind Spencers and State Bank of India building, it had got valet parking.
Ambiance: Place is actually a bungalow converted into a restaurant, beautifully designed and scaped artistically.
Food & Drinks: Am not a big fan of Italian food, but went along with family and we had a veg only condition on that day (some religious festival or something) We ordered a pizza, pasta and a tiramisu. However, i have forgotten the specific names of the pizza and pastas though as the names were a little too big to remember. However the food was quite memorable and very palatable. My parents who usually prefer traditional food were also quite impressed and were quite happy about the dishes.
Service: Service is good but can be improved further.
Overall, an excellent place to have some lip-smacking veg Italian food.

Little Italy, as the name suggests, the place offers an array of authentic Italian, Lebanese & Mexican delicacies. The place boasts of its modern, elegant & spacious interiors with stylish furnishings & decor. Also, it’s quite spacious with comfy seating area. A perfect place for people born with vegetarian appetite.
Love the food and service

I m susma,we Went to Little Italy yesterday for dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday and the place as usual rocked. We ordered spinachi salsa for starters (our each time favorite). We opted out of soups because we believe that it would just occupy too much space in the stomach. We ordered Lasagna Napoli to celebrate Garfiled and vegetable quesadillas, which was too amazing for words. The sides that came with the quesadillas were very tasty as well. The tiny chopped pineapple takes the crown. We finally finished our meal with blueberry cheese cake. My only regret was that I was not able to eat the mango cheese cake, which knowing the Little Italy standards is bound to be yumm as well. Thanks little Italy. You make each of us dining out experience memorable.
Went for a buffet. Good food, cozy ambience, discrete and cordial staff
Amazing vegetarian Italian food ever had
I had ordered Pizza Napoli it was really very good the base was very crispy and flavours came out very well
Red pasta was also really very good
Desserts and mock tail was also really good
Not to forget about the staff they were really very good and courteous
As the name suggests the place has a variety of Italian dishes.
The Ambience and service were good. Food was great.
A nice place to take your family out for a dinner.
Delicious food and nice ambience.
Service was good.
This restaurant serves wide variety of pizzas. There are lot of options to try out.
Truly Italy!!
I have been here for many times now and everytime I am awed by the tastiest of Italian cusines in Chennai.
The lunch buffet, especially, is a must try.
With varieties in soup, best cheesy garlic bread in the city to the custom made pizzas it was a package!!
Calm Ambience for quality time,
Friendly staff,
Delicious food!

I've been a fan of Little Italy and their sister concern La Pizzeria and have had the opportunity to relish a meal at several of their outlets in various cities including Pune, Bangalore, indore, New Delhi, Mumbai etc... So when we moved to Chennai earlier this year, it was absolutely refreshing to see a Little Italy in our neighborhood...We have been here several times with family/friends and each time has been absolutely enjoyable. The food is awesome, the staff very friendly, the flavors just burst in your mouth.,.. Strongly recommend for folks who want to check out Italian for the first time . Trust me, you'll want to come here again and again...
I have been to this place by last week for a dinner. The warm welcome of the staffs n the atmosphere makes us comfortable to dine in freely. The staffs were very courteous n they helped in choosing the menus..The pastas were so yummy with white sauce and pizza crust is very thin n feels good to have those mouth watering dishes...overall an awesome experience...my NEW addiction
I would give this place a 5 star for the nice interiors, creative choices of menu, and finally for the food being actually pretty good.the service was great and the management were very attentive. Again I really want to love being here
Great place for Italian foods.they have some Mexican options added.they always have same consistent quality. Value for money.
Super cool Vegans , this place is for you.
Nachos were good , Brocolli soup is not Broccoli floating if that is what you expect.

I had gone with my family to celebrate my birthday. Such a wonderful experience. The food was amazing! I had ordered off of their summer menu - the baked mushrooms were a table favourite. The pizza tartufi was heavenly. It was full of flavour. The basil complimented the truffle oil so perfectly. And the Panna Cotta was a perfect end to the meal. I could have done without the mango sauce that accompanied it but that's just a personal preference. It was a good meal and was a nice way to end my birthday.
I personally love Little Italy, it's an amazing place with authentic Italian food. Everything is just yummy and it's a pure vegetarian restaurant.
Good place to eat some nice Italian cuisine. The menu could be a little confusing for a common man (without much knowledge of Italian cuisine), but, with the right choices of food, the food is tasty with decent staff.
Ordered for a home Delivery. I ordered Bruschetta Al Pomodoro, crocchette patate e funghi and quattro pepperoncino pizza. The package was done perfectly.
Bruschetta was crispy and juicy with tomotoes and spices. It was 4 pieces. For Crochette i chose to make it with potatoes. The last one Pizza was fantastic. All the dishes were chosen to be made in Jain preparation.
👌A fantastic dinner
Nice place if you’re interested in having cheese based food. We had huge group of 40+ and the staff were polite enough to make sure everyone was taken care off. The ambience is also pretty good.
Beautiful house located in street of Besant Nagar near spencer daily was converted into a simple and neat restaurant...
Service was good since I prefer being left alone with friends but some persons likes waiters at quick response may think service is little down...
I have been here couple of times itching to try their ala carte menu but ended up having buffet so this review is only based on the buffet...
Started of with welcome drink lime and watermelon both tasted fantastic and Starters bruschetta, nachos and cheese sauce, onion rings where served at the table ... Nacho's was crisp topped by cheese with salsa sauce was a perfect snack and bruschetta was superb...
Spread was decent it had bread basket, dips, cheese platter and salads.... Pizza, lasagna, basil rice and Thai curry was the main course.. Thin crust pizza was superb and lasagna was good otherwise all the other main course was decent...
Live pasta counter having penne, fusilli and sphagetti ,wide spread of veggies to choose and two varieties of sauce cream and red sauce where cream sauce was bland and red sauce was better than white but not that great...
Dessert was ok nothing great except red velvet cake..
This place never disappoints !
Love the food ! The presentation is on point ! And the flavours are mind boggling. !
Worth a visit !
Cozy ambience !
The food is just amazing. This place is a vegetarian paradise. I love all the pizzas and spaghetti with red sauce is a must try. A go to place for Foodies who love Italian and are vegetarian ❤️
I absolutely love the food here. The best Italian you can have around the area. Been here numerous times and I love the pastas here. Pizza is good too! Only drawback for me is that it's veg 😉 but nevertheless I go here often because I love vegetarian food too! My bff loves the Nachos here.
The pastas are good here. This restaurant is famous for its pizzas and their are chessy.I have tried hot and sour soup which is yum to taste and gave me a warmth feeling in my mouth. After that I also ate corn chess balls which is one more dish to try here and they have my heart. The chocolate bomb ,chocolate mousse and chocolate sizzles is yum to taste I feel like heaven on the earth.overall I can give 5/5 and when compared to other hotels it's costly here.
Food 5/5
ambience 4/5
service 5/5
overall 4/5
I had the lunch buffet on a weekday. I really liked the starters and the pizzas a lot. The flavors were absolutely amazing. I liked the main course a lot too. The pastas were also made really well. The mix of few Mexican dishes and Italian dishes went well on the whole. I recommend the pizzas and the pink sauce make-your-own pasta. I liked the choice of desserts as well although I felt like they could’ve had more flavors in ice cream.
The ambience and service of this place was great! I also liked the location of the restaurant. It’s not too spacious but cozy for a nice buffet lunch. On the whole, I felt like the place is pricy but the food was definitely worth a try.
It was my first time in little Italy and I had an amazing experience. Loved the ambience and the food was simply amazing. Since it was my first time I didn't have an idea as to what to order and a kind gentleman there suggested what I could have. Overall it was a very nice experience and I had a great evening. Thank you zomato and thank you little Italy :)
I've already been to little Italy many times and everything it's been an amazing experience. The quality of food is very good. I would recommend this restaurant for having great Italian Cuisines. There's also a buffet option which I tried here and it was amazing. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to new people and foodies. Give it a try and you'll definitely like it. I rate Little Italy a 5 on 5.
Keep up the good work!!!!
Kudos to the restaurant.
One among the very few restaurants I would love to suggest without a second thought. Great food, good ambience and courteous staff. Amazing place to dine with your loved ones.
An excellent Vegetarian outlet in Besant Nagar. A very creative menu with a wide variety of options to consider. The ambience is cozy, but a bit too cold for our liking. However, most Chennaiites seem to prefer the cold air conditioning. In the past, there was outdoor seating available, but this is sadly not anymore the case. However, this does not take away anything from this wonderful place, which is also not too harsh on the pocket.
Very good option for good veg food.
We opted for the buffet and loved the food. Excellent starters. Awesome made to order pasta. Nice cooling mocktails. Good choice of deserts.
Will visit again when my veggie friends visit. :)
I was totally in awe with the food . The place was calm and we had lot of privacy . If you are meeting your friends after a long time , you want to enjoy their company and enjoy the food as well means you can opt for Little Italy
.
I've been here twice and they are too good. I like their crispy thin crust Pizza. Their starters are a treat.
Onion Rings are a treat. Reminds me of Hard Rock Cafe.
Great italian cuisine. The pastas were rich and the pizza had a crunchy crust which made it perfect. I really don't know how people like the rubber they serve at dominos, when you can have authentic pizzas at places like this.
One of the best vegetarian italian buffet spread.
Totally worth trying the pizza, pasta and bruschetta.
Good service.
Good ambience.
Cordial staffs.
A home turned restaurant... beautifully arranged.. Food was great.. the best part being each of the dish was freshly prepared.. though that took a little extra time.. each of the dishes we tasted was worth waiting for..
Zucca Di Ravioli which was a pumpkin based soup with a ravioli stuffed with cottage cheese and walnuts... By far the best pumpkin soup i have ever had... i relished every sip of it..
Pappa Di Pomodori was also amazing ... It was a roasted tomato and bell pepper soup...
Garlic Bread could have a little more garlic flavour and made them better...
Spanakopita Marinati had samosa like pocket fries with charcoal infused spagetti and salsa cream.. the dish for me was okish...
They offer you the option of combining 2 different pizzas in one (half of each)... We had combined Sicilia and Pizza Napoli . ... Both were great with freshly baked pizza base, the perfect amount of cheese and topping.
Tiramisu Italiano... A must try...the authentic tiramisu...
Coffe Pannacotta was good.
Overall it was worth it and satisfying...

Great food, fresh and presentable.
It's taking me a lot of effort to write this review. Very rarely it happens that I'm at a loss of words to describe a food experience. Generally it's because the food doesn't deserve to be talked about.
But this time, it's the exact opposite. The food left me simply SPEECHLESS.
The food, the decor, the service and the whole experience was just impeccable.
We went there for their Sunday brunch with costs around 750 per person. And despite it being vegetarian, it justifies each and every rupee of its cost.
You get a complete Italian experience sitting in India itself. The food options and quality on offer is remarkable.
It starts with two of their drinks followed by two soups of the day. The starters follow suite and don't disappoint at all. The bruschetta is the best thing among all along with the homemade nachos with cheese and salsa.
Everything seems to be created carefully just as to increase your appetite for the more scrumptious main courses on offer.
You get a lavish buffet spread complete with various breads, salads, hummus and ofcourse some Italian twist to everything.
The lasagna and the enchiladas were generously flavorful and full of awesome goodness. You have a live pasta counter through which you can order literally any possible flavour you wish to acquire.
The dessert counter, or I should say the dessert extravaganza is the highlight of the meal. You get various options from a brownie to a cheesecake as well as a red velvet pastry.
The ambience of the place adds a certain plus point to the whole experience.
Definitely a must visit if you're in the area and crave some Italian. Or just go there for a Sunday date.! You won't be disappointed at all.
Little Italy, serving some fine italian “vegetarian “ delicacies for decades!!
So finally i had a chance to try this with two of my friends for a weekday dinner.
Since many of you (who knows me personally) already knew that I’m a diehard NON-VEG veriyan, i just went to this place with less expectations ‘because to me NON-VEG is like elixir 😅’
but to my surprise i was completely blown away by some dishes (Infact after i returned home i was raving about this place and their dishes to my fellow friends!! 🔥)
Now coming to the ambience and spacing- it was a well lit up place with ample amount of seating options, well ventilated. everything from the furniture to the cutlery was top notch! U won’t find any difficulty in parking your vehicles too., since it’s located in a very calm and spacious street of besant nagar.
The staffs were very courteous and helpful and the orders we placed were on time (tbh. Before time!!🙌🏻🙌🏻) we didn’t even felt that we were waiting even for a single minute and yet the dishes were perfectly made no, no , CRAFTED with utmost perfection!!❤️
Ohh! Forgot to say we came here to their contemporary menu..
So starting of with soups or zuppe as they call it:
Creame de zucca: Just like the name says it so creamy and by far the best VEGETARIAN SOUP I EVER TASTED(all 3 of us felt the same!!) a pumpkin based cream soup with a mild taste. MUST TRY from their menu.
Pappa di pamodoro: a bread and tomato soup with roasted garlic and bell pepper in it! Tasted yum.
Mocktails:
The Mocktails i had in this place is totally different and unique from other places
Right from presentation to the taste!
Mango passion fruit mojito: a mixture of Mango and passion fruit pulps, this is my least favourite out of the three drinks we tried at this place.
Orange and basil Mojito: basil leaves , lime soda and some sprinkles of orange juice on it. Blended well and my 2nd favo. From their shop.
Charcoal lemonade: A MUST MUST TRY from this place... Not ur average mocktail u’ll get at every other place.
STARTERS:
RAVIOLI CROCANTE: Ravioli stuffed with cheese , deep fried and served with two dips of tomato and garlic sauce dips.
ARANCINI NOCII: oatmeal walnut arancini served with tomato and pesto sauce in a charcoal smoked dome! Tasted yum and the presentation was on point! MUST TRY!!
SPANAKOPITA MARINATI: Another charcoal based dish from their menu, this time infused with flat-ribbon pasta served along with spinach puffs.
FONDUTA: Veg skewers served with garlic bread and with a bowl of melted cheese (best cheese I’ve tried till date period!!) ALL THEIR CHEESE BASED DISHES ARE MUST TRY 💯!!
PIZZAS:
PIZZA BIANCA NERO: MUST TRY! This a charcoal based thin crust pizza with four different cheese toppings
MOZZARELLA, PARMESAN, RICOTTA and CHEDDAR tossed with veggies like corn and capsicum.
PIDE CONTADINO: shaped like a boat with thick crust this pizza is loaded with mozzarella cheese, cherry tomatoes and fried potatoes along with thyme.
PASTAS: we absolutely loved both the pastas.each had a unique flavour and was too good on it’s own.
RIGATONI FINNOCHIO: Rigatoni pasta tossed in truffle porcini sauce and saffron the taste was on the mild side, creamy and rich in flavour. MUST TRY!
GNOCCHI DE SPINACHI QUATTRO FROMAGGI: spinach dumplings dipped in a well of cheese- 4 different cheese!!
DESSERTS: Desserts from this place are a MUST TRY! Choose whatever you want in their menu, you are in for a surprise.
BLUBBERY CHEESECAKE: Absolute delicacy! It was so soft and fluffy and one can feel the actual blueberries presence in it!
PANNA COTTA: Classic panna cotta all the way from italy. We found ever dessert to be in a classic way as it is without any infusions. Kudos to that.
And i fell in love with their desserts which made me try their ANNA NAGAR branch just for desserts alone 😅 Will highly recommend this place all the dishes we tried were very good, orders were on time , staffs were friendly throughout.
Ambience - Nothing appealing. I must say that. Only thing I liked is motor operated small bore well at the front. It’s basically a home converted to a restaurant.
Food - The salsa they serve was yummy 🤤. We ordered Cheese corn balls, Bla bla pasta (basically tomato sause pasta) and garlic breads. All three are top notch. No complaints about the food. Both in taste and quantity, it will satisfy you. I never know this is a complete veg restaurant. Else wouldn’t have went 😜
Service - Exceptional. Right from greetings and till the end they took good care and very polite.
Verdict - Must try if you luv Italian, Mexican cuisines. Little Pricy. Considering the quality and quantity you will not mind.
Everything about this place is awesome..food, ambience.a must try...the variety they provide is good..taste will be too good..buffet will be fulfilling..both to heart and stomach
Best place for vegetarian Italian course
I've been to many other places but none of them beat little Italy
The Ambience is simple and well done
The staffs are super friendly and the service is quick
Little Italy has improved a lot from the last time we visited which was around 2 months back
They have added many new items in the menu
We ordered archini , triangle spanakopita and chimichangas for starters , the covering was crisp and the red sauce given along with it ( not salsa) went along with the them , chimichangas was a bit on the spicier end but we loved them
Coming to the mains we ordered sour-dough pizza which was a new addition to its menu and it did live up to it's name . The idea of bread being sour totally grosses me out ,I was skeptical about the order but still I thought of trying it out just then I realised the spicyness of the pizza and the dough being a bit sour went along so well , didn't expect it
We had ordered mexican mash potatoes as well which was in the menu
For deserts we had ordered pannacotta and chocolate bomb
they had really upped their case in Pannacotta the platting , taste everything was better than the last time we came
Chocolate bomb was on a sweeter side
Over ally little Italy is an amazing place and must visit for all Italian course lovers
Ambience: 4.5
Food : 5
Service : 5
Price : 3.5
Authentic Italian cuisine restaurant since 1989. The Besant nagar outlet is located in nearby to spencers daily, 17th cross street.
To start with we had these soups:-
Creama Di zucca Zuppe: Butternut squash, roasted garlic and rosemary bisque filed thick soup. So creamy and yummy.

For refreshers we had these:-
Charcoal lemonade: Charcoal based lemonade filled with ice and mint leaves. Refreshing enough.
Orange basil mojito: Thick orange juice filled with basil leaves and lemon squashed in a mild proportion. Tangy a bit and sweet enough.
Mango passion fruit mojito: It was tangy mango juice filled with passion fruit pulps.
Fruit punch: mix of fruits served thick enough. Sweet fruits alone without sugar that’s the best one in this.
For starters:-
Ravioli Crocante: fried ravioli stuffed with roasted pepper and cheese fillings served with spicy tomato and roasted garlic salsa dip.
Fonduta: It’s a cheese fondue served with skewers of carrot, broccoli, baby corn, potatoes, plum and tomatoes. They serve a mix of three varieties of cheese which makes the dish so perfect.

For desserts had these:
Tiramisu italiano: The best tiramisu in Chennai which is authentic Italian one. Loved it
Blueberry Cheesecake: Soooo cheesy and the compote they used were perfect either.
Panna cotta: The best Italian panna cota with fruits.
Chocolate bomb: My another favorite here, chocolate gooey filled inside a chocolate cake served with ice cream.
Red wine and white wine: My fav non-alcoholic wines in this place a must try at a nominal price.
Ambiance: 5/5
Service: 5/5
Food, taste: 5/5
Cost: 4/5
"Be a Roman when you're in a Rome", this tagline which perfectly suits this place. This is the best of Italian cuisine in the city. As I'm Non Veg Lover, but I love this place for Vegetarians Italian food. Mostly all the food items are best comfort.
They didn't keep us waiting for too long and kept the dishes coming. Waiters knows the menu well, they made good suggestions. Their staffing is great and promising. The seating arrangements are quite comfortable and place is maintained properly. Visited this restaurant along with 2 of my friends for Weekday dinner.
It's a bit costly but it worth each penny.
Little Italy made little improvisation in the menu. They came up with contemporary menu that includes starters, mocktails, pizzas, pastas and dessert. Amazing selection from Soups to desserts.
We started with Zuppe(Soup),
Pappa Di Pomodori:- This zuppe is mixing of roasted tomato and Bell pepper, where bell pepper is little bit dominating the taste of the soup.
Creama Di Zucca: I will strongly recommended this soup before you start the meal, it's a combination of butternut squash and roasted garlic. Best Vegetarian soup I had till date. MUST TRY
Mocktails:-
Orange and Basil Mojito: This is not going to be regular Mojito.Orange , fresh basil, lime juice and soda are blended well it's gives you a pakka refreshing moment. MUST TRY
Mango Passion fruit Mojito: Contains mango juice, passion fruit syrup, lime juice , mint and soda. Tasted good but not close to my heart.
Charcoal Lemonade : Interesting Right??..Yes , If you are bored with the usual Mojito, you can go with this.
Starters:-
Arancini Nocci: Oatmeal Walnut Arancini is served in smoky bowl and came along with Tomato Chipotle cream and pesto cream.
Ravioli Crocante:- Fried Ravioli is stuffed with roasted peppers and cheese, it's like stuffed rice balls served with roasted chicken garlic salsa and spicy tomato dip.
Spanakopita Marinati:- This one is crispy puff served along with long -flat ribbon pasta that is infused with charcoal.
Fonduta: Italian veggies skewers with bowl of Italian melted cheese along with garlic Bread.
Salad:-
Insalata Con pere e Noci: Truly the best italian chopped salad. This Salad has a pleasing mix of poached pears, caramelized nuts , parmesan and citrus .
Pizza :-
Pizza Bianca E Nero: If you are cheese lover, this will be good choice for you. This pizza is based on charcoal thin crust pizza with chilli tossed Vegetables, 4 types of Cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, ricottaa nd parmesan ) and Alfredo sauce.MUST TRY
Pide Contadino Pizza: This boat shaped pizza with Spicy tomato, cherry tomatoes, minted potatoes, mozzarella, feta, thyme.
Pasta:-
Gnocchi Di Spinachi Quattro Fromaggi: A spinach dumplings is came with four cheese in roasted garlic sauce.
Rigatoni Finnochio: Rigatoni tossed with truffle porcini cream, roasted fennel and Saffron. MUST TRY
Coming to the Desserts, all of them are my favourite.
Tiramisu Italiano: It's a classic Italian Tiramisu , soft sponge cake soaked in coffee, As I am a coffee lover, this is one I'm looking for.
Blueberry Cheesecake: Best blueberry Cheesecake I had till date. Cheesecake is too soft & creamy , flavoured with blueberries.
Panna Cotta: Panna cotta, a molded chilled dessert popular throughout Italy. This is the best classic panna cotta. It's rich and silky and makes a perfectly light treat that takes only minutes to destroy..!!
Fruit Punch: This is suggested by my friend, seems to be like mocktail but it tasted really good. It contains Pineapple , black grapes, apple , Pomegranate, orange and lemon.
Chocolate Bomb:- Baked Chocolate cake filled with gooey Chocolate. This is one for Chocolate lovers
Overall nice ambience, friendly staff , prompt service and good hospitality. I will recommend this restaurant to my fellow veggie friends.
Little Italy
One of the best vegetarian restaurant in Chennai which serves Italian and Mexican veg dishes.
The ambience was quite eye catchy and pleasant..
Coming to the dishes.. I started off with the cream di zucca soup and papa di pomodori soup.. then I tasted many dishes like ravioli crocante , insalta con pere e noci , insalta di fromagio di capra , fonduta , sapnakopita marinati , pizza bianca e Nero , rigatoni finnochio , tortellini Al pesto liquido , pizza la sorpessa which is actually a dome pizza...
Every dishes which i tasted was really good in which my best pick is the fonduta which is a toasted breads with cheese dips the cheese dip was really delicious as I licked even the last drop from the plate... And then the rigatoni finnochio which is a cheesy pasta topped with saffrons and pine nuts..
Coming to the mocktails I had orange and basil mojito and charcoal lemonade..where both tasted good and I tasted the real pulp taste..
Then the desserts... I had chocolate mousse , blueberry cheesecake, tiramisu Italiano and mango Cheesecake.. in which my best pick is the chocolate mousse cake which was delicious and I could feel the taste of dark chocolate in every bite..
The overall experience was good so the veg foodies out there try this place for multiple food varieties and share your experience..

If you are a person who loves Italian and is a pure vegetarian , Little Italy is the place you should head to. This place has been serving authentic , yummy Italian food for years 😀 The Ambience looks great with service done on the ground as well as the first floor. It is basically a beautiful house that has been converted into a restaurant. They have vallet parking so parking issues sorted.
Little Italy has come up with a revamped menu and I along with a few foodie friends were here to try out their new menu 😀 The name of the dishes are in Italian but worry not you have the explanation of the dish in English that comes to your rescue 😀
We started with some refreshing Mocktails
Mocktails-
Orange and basil Mojito , charcoal lemonade, Mango passion fruit Mojito all the Mocktails tasted decent. The charcoal lemonade is something one should try.
Soups , salads and starters-
Loved the soups and starters that were served. I don't have anything to complain about this part of the meal. Every single starter that was served tasted yum. And I loved both the soups that were served as well , the flavor and consistency of the soup was perfect. I am not a salad person so not really commenting about it.
Soups -
Cream di zucca , Pappa di pomodori both are a must try . I truly enjoyed both😍 basically pumpkin and tomato soup were served and tasted delicious.
Starters-
Arancini Noci - stuffed rice balls deep fried served with some yummy dip tasted yum.
Ravioli Crocante - This was so good, nice and crispy Ravioli served with pesto based dip tasted amazing 😀
Fonduta - True Cheese lovers must try this, cheese fondue was super duper creamy and Cheesy 😍 breads and veggies served in skewer.
Spanakopita marinati- Crispy puff pastries served with a charcoal infused pasta was yum 😀
Main course-
Pizza and pasta-
I was not really impressed with the pizza that were served. Most of them were too bland , the pasta's were good comparatively Rigatoni Finnochio was super creamy and yum ( white sauce), I personally liked the gnocchi di spinach pasta, the lasagna was super good .
Desserts-
Again no complaints about the finishing part of the meal. Loved all the desserts. The Chocolate mousse and mango cheesecake is mandatory when you visit little Italy. Both tasted delicious 😍 The tiramisu cake was yummylicious if you love coffee you will love this , especially the Chocolate ganache that came along with the dessert tasted heavenly 😀 The pana cotta looked colorful and tasted good.
A perfect place to hang out with family and friends. The place is slightly on the higher end. The quantity and quality is good and the place already has set a brand image. The service was super good , the waiters were super attentive. The food was served on time. Loved the way the dishes were presented, right from the soups being served to the desserts. Beautiful plating and presentation. The pizza needs some improvement. I hope the management looks into it.

Classic Italian Gourmet food in Chennai, Little Italy stands apart for others in many ways. Great Pasta, Great Pizza, other yum and cheesy delights on offer. Its a bit heavy on the wallet, but you sure do get a worthy experience for the bucks you pay. Mind you it will be all the more pleasurable experience on special occasions like birthday or anniversary! Go and have a great time.
😍 Never thought there would be so many dishes to try in a Italian veg restaurant. They have many branches in chennai. Yet we went to the besantnagar branch.
It's located very near to beach and besant Nagar bus stand so easy to reach.
They have valet parking. So no worries about parking.
The restaurant is functioning in a huge villa size building with excellent ambience and lightings
Their service is topnotch, they explain every dishes and help us to select the best suited ones as per our expectations
Best part of their food is the presentation skills. They will make us crave for their food just by their presentations.
We had the mocktails first to start on a sweet note.. Charcoal lemonade was the odd flavour out there but It failed to satisfy our tastes. But the orange and mango mocktails were refreshing.
Next we tried cappuccino Al funghi selvatici - best creamy soup I ever tasted.. They mix the foam from cappuccino coffee and mix with mushroom syrup. Must try here
We had four starters
Ravioli crocanti - a crunchy starter - most beautiful starter 😍😍😍😍😍
Arancini noci - an oatmeal dish tastes best with their dips
Fonduta - their signature dish with grilled vegetables and melted cheese as side
Spanakopita marinati - samosa like dishes but with a cheesy touch.
We tried two salads
Insalata con pere e noci - citrus dressed salad - not my taste
Insalata di formaggio di capra - orange honey dressing salad - tastes sweet and yummy
Then we moved to main dishes
Pizza bianca e Nero - a thin crust pizza crispy and tasty with charcoal base
Margherita rustico - a sourdough based pizza - didn't attract me much
Torta Di luigi - my favourite pasta here. Pls try this here for a excellent taste
Other main dishes we tried are pide solletico, cappelletti duo formaggi, piatto giardino. Among these piatto giardino is a good pizza here made of hummus and vegetables on a flat bread
In desserts we tried blueberry cheese cake, tiramisu italiano, chocolate bomb and pannacotta.
Pannacotta - my favourite here. It just melts in our mouth. 😍😍😍
Must tries here - pannacotta, torta Di luigi (pasta) , pizza bianca a Nero, insalata Di formaggio di capra (salad), arancini noci, cappuccino Al funghi selvatici (soup)
If you wanna treat your family with a five star service and tasty food - don't miss this place. The. Prices are worth the service
Love Italian food?? Looking for one stop for all your cravings? Well well, you've just found the place you need to be whenever you crave.
All of the dishes were a visual as well as a oral treat.
The presentation definitely deserves a heads-up .
Starters were a bomb followed by salads which were a bit bland as Italian salads are.
Spanakopita marinati tasted the best and was last night's winner.(looks like samosa). Fused with cheese and veggies the stuffing really teases your taste buds along with tomato Chipotle.
Ravioli crocante is also a must try here.
@littleitalybessi which has been serving the same for a long time have actually tried to revamp the entire menu and the way they go about things.
This is really nice to see in a restaurant taking such efforts to increase the customer's satisfaction.
The ambience was really good and is worth every penny paid for the dining experience you get.
They serve the traditional four course meal and Sunday brunches as well.
Buffet is served across the week.
Doesn't matter if you aren't a foodie just visit and enjoy the hospitality on offer and the aesthetics of the place.
By far the best customer service I've received till now. And thank you @littleitalygrp for maintaining such high standards.
Price :₹1500 for two.
It's worth every penny paid.

little italy, one of the popular restaurants that serve lip smacking vegetarian italian food in chennai has come up with a new contemporary menu that includes some must try starters and maincourse. one of the highlights of this fine dining place is its signature thin crust pizzas and pastas. the range of antipasti includes arancini noci and ravioli crocante. for cheese pizza lovers, pizza bianca e nero which has a combination of four types of cheese and chilli vegetables topped on a black based crust is said to be a mouthful of heaven. the new menu promises to hold many surprise flavours for italian food lovers. this resraurant which has four branches in city also offers pocket friendly lunch buffet with a wide spread. the service was top notch with the person explaining each item and its ingredients. the staff were courteous and attentive. i personally enjoyed their creamy soups, starters, pastas and desserts. iam not a fan of their pizzas though. the show stopper of the dinner was capellete duo formaggi which is a pasta. definitely recommend this place to friends and family.
And all my favourites from this veg italian heaven😍😍😍 now i dont want to talk about pizzas they were normal but their starters, soups and pastas are the best😋😋😍 service was topnotch😍

A chain that has never disappointed irrespective of where we go! I have been here multiple times for years now.
Their soups, bruschetta, pizzas and pastas are very tasty. I love their Sicilia pizza and rustic pizza in particular. My picks for pasta would be Pesto speghetti and bechamel penne pasta.. special mention to the lasagna.
This place is an extremely safe bet - in any part of the country ! Go for it
Great Italian restaurant.....
Ambience was good... But it's slightly costly...
We had asked for some spicy starter and they suggested for pale di potato... it is nothing but deep fried potato skin... It was not actually spicy... This one dish had disappointed us...
Pasta and pizzas were really great and
crema di Funghi was awesome...
Best place for anyone who wants to have the best of Italian cuisine!! Their pizzas and pastas are out of the world and are served with a smile! Love this place 👍
Wonderful experience. Had great food. Service is too good. Starting from welcome drink till dessert everything was great. Waiting to visit again.
Nice place for italian food ..Amazing pasta and pizza ❤️ The live pasta counter is gives us a lively experience to customise your own pasta ...nice ambience for friends and family nice place to chill out
Ordered a garden pizza. Thoroughly loved the freshness of cheeze and the crust. One of the very few places which serves genuine italian in Chennai. Love the taste and preparation! Only one recommendation-please allow olive oil separately if asked in home deliveries.
Little Italy never disappoints with the food and quality . I have been there so many times and each experience is way better than last one.now I can say that little Italy is one of my favorite restaurant in Chennai. we went for dinner few weeks ago.
We had 🍄 soup for starter with garlic bread, corn cheese ball and saute mushrooms with bread.starter was great and delicious.
For main course we order lasagna with mojito ,both were amazing.
For dessert we went with trismus and chocolate lava 🍰. everything was so amazing.they will serve in good quality.so end of our meal we were so full.
this is one of the best chocolate lava cake I ever had.this is one of the best palace to eat with family and friends.i will definitely go again.
For service -5/5
Food-4/5(I want to see some creativity too)
Ambience-5/5
Qualify-5/5
Good food, courteous staff. Soft music, a good getaway for couples or family near Elliott’s beach. The mock tails were very well made too from fresh fruits
Amazing Vegeterian Italian dinner, spoilt for choices, the best was left for the finish : Chennai's best Sizzling Walnut Brownie topped w Vanilla and Hot Dark Choc... Amazing, you will come back 100%...
I go to this place 3 to 4 times a year for dinner.
on 19th Aug ‘23 went there after 3 months - not sure if the head chef has changed [even though the waiter said the Chef has not changed]
Quality of food has come down a couple of notches.
Lasagne was very average – was cooked like mashed potatoes. Bruschette was just tomato’s toasted bread no cheese.
Pizza as usual was good. My daughter says not to visit again – not sure may be I will visit one more time – is not improved, strike out another restaurant
Earlier gave a 5 star rating – changing to 4 star now
Absolutely worth trying.
Didn’t feel any item was less in taste or Authenticity.
Ordered Brocalli broth from soups - Pure extract of Brocalli with no additional cream or flavours added . Felt refreshing .
Caesar Salad- fresh Vegetables dipped in Mayonnaise was a very good try. Felt the freshness in the vegetables.
Lot of options in the main course and every thing was worth exploring and trying :)
Felt the money worth.
Impeccable service provided by all the staffs and by the Manager Mr.Minajhul . Additionally the Ambiance was great as well. Important of all since every ingredient was in correct proportion and quality, didn’t feel the heaviness of eating Italian food loaded with cheese.!
Happy Eating.
Posh restaurant. Buffet costs 800+ gst and stuff. Didn't feel stuffed or bloated.
Had a great dining experience. The food, service by Mr. Vikram and the ambience of the restaurant everything was great.
The Gnocco especially was a delight to our taste buds.
Great food, excellent service special mentions to manager mr kiyanaand for the making us comfortable and happy, definitely a revisit to here. Loved the pasta barbaresa and nachos ❤️
We celebrated our daughter’s 10 birthday at Little Italy. This restaurant has left the best impression on us and on our guest. The ambience was great and the service we received was so amazing😊. We felt welcomed.
From the starter to the dessert the quality and tastes of everything was outstanding.
But the special attention care and friendliness from the manager Mr. Kiyanand Patra made us feel right at home. He personally came to tables to check if we had everything we wanted and if everything was up to mark. Loved his genuine touch of hospitality.
I highly recommend this place and we would love to come back here again.
We had dinner. It was Saturday. The place was crowded. It is close to Basant Nagar Beach so always crowded. Food is good. We had garlic bread and pizza. It was tasty and was served in expected time. The servers and ambience is good. A great place for Italian food. It is only for vegetarians.

Crazy food, amazing options.. vegan food was crazy..
Thanks Bikram for the amazing service... blasting 💣
Little Italy hasn’t changed much over the years be it the ambience or flavours 😝
This time it was GIRF rates so got some discount . Rates are marginally on a higher scale.
The Risotto was bit disappointing one else it was nice meal.
This was one exceptionally good restaurant. The service was great, the food was excellent and the delivery was quick. A special mention to the bread used in the garlic bread dish. It is by far the best I have tasted so far. Anyone visiting this restaurant has to try the garlic bread. The spread is amazing too. One small gripe I have with this place is that it could get a little expensive for a full course meal. Other than that, it is definitely worth opting for this place as you are guaranteed a good meal.
Great Italian veg food and wonderful ambience. Street parking only. Their pizzas are the best in town. The ambience is also good. Set inna big house. Staff are very helpful and friendly.
Vikram and Nitesh were our hosts for dinner. They were wonderful. I’ve been a patron of Little Italy across Mumbai, Bangalore and Pune, but this branch takes the cake (pun intended). Lovely staff, amazing food and even better service.
Good option if you want to try some different food in vegitarian. Price wise slightly on higher side
Easily the best place in Besant Nagar area for mind blowing Italian food. The garlic bread is enough to satisfy your taste buds but you know you can't stop. Their desserts don't have a wide range but they are all yum. Mango cheesecake and Tiramisu are my personal recommendations
Street parking.
No Valet parking.
Clean restrooms.
Very good food. Excellent taste. Just the right amount for the us.
The staff were very courteous and helpful.
I by mistake paid more than the bill through gpay and left. They came back and informed me I paid more and returned the money thru cash mode. I was surprised. I mean...I did not expect it.
Our recent dining experience was a mix of highs and lows. While the pasta we ordered was delicious and the staff's attentiveness was noteworthy, the same couldn't be said for the salad, which left much to be desired. Despite only a few occupied tables, we were seated closely to others, making it difficult to ignore neighboring conversations and resulting in an unexpectedly noisy environment. It would have been more enjoyable if there had been a bit more space between tables to ensure a more private and comfortable dining atmosphere.
Was exploring dinner options little late around 10 with family and found them through search, fantastic food and hospitality.Loved the place overall n visit more often.Nearby eden was our option but they do not let you dine post 9:45 pm which was a surprise to us on a weekend Saturday.
Italian food... mushroom Pizza with More cheese topping 😋 loved it
