Went in the evening for small snacks and coffee. Ended up ordering 9” visparo pizza and cappuccino

They do have a great collection of ice cream and pastries. But the quantity is less and the price is very high.
@amelieschennai has a great and pleasing ambience. From the food to the dessert section everything was very delicious.In the mains, We had the grilled chicken breast, and it was way too delicious.It was tossed in some veggies and mushroom sauce and served along with mashed potatoes.
Wouldn't recommend going here as a group, cozy little place for catch up with that friend you're meeting after a long time or a date. Above average food with below average presentation especially on the desserts.

Missippi mud pie- I have never tasted anything like this before.Eventhough it was freezing as hell i really love the mud pie.It is my favourite from amelies ❤️

Amelie’s!!! One of the finest restaurants in the city with great ambience! I had tasted PENNE ARABIATA ,chicken quesadilla and the most delicious and yummiest RASPBERRY ICECREAM ! Pasta was bit upto the taste, and the starter quesadilla was the best..RASPBERRY ICECREAM WAS THE MAN OF THE MATCH !!!! Amelie’s is one of the places to enjoy the desserts!! Check out soon amigos !

Amelie's Cafe & Creamery is one of the best places in Chennai to get the best Italian cuisine along with the variety of dessert. My friend-circle enjoyed this place to the fullest. The ambience is really good too. About food, the dishes served by this restaurant contain special spices which are generally absent in fake Italian restaurants, which clearly shows the genuineness of this restaurant. I'm a food critique as well as food blogger, I've visited lots of places all around the world. And what surprised me, was that Chennai has such an amazing Italian cuisine restaurant. One should definitely visit this place. You would not regret.

Great ambience, choice of songs played is really really good, Ordered veg spaghetti basil pasta , veg pizza and hummus n pita and coffee..
well the pasta was the tastiest pasta I’ve had in Chennai so far! Perfect sauce, cooked to the correct amount and ingredients to the right proportions.. thin crust pizza was also good.
Hummus was really fresh and tasted good.
Only minus was the pita bread , it was little hard ..
The machiato latte turned out to be too high on coffee for my milk loving friend, but their courteous barista , a young lad was generous enough to make her a new latte with creame on top and more of milk...

1. Aglio olio - This simple Italian pasta always stays close to my heart. It was so fresh and flavourful. Perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection.
2. Lasanga verte - Classic lasanga was served. However we felt the sauce was excess. It had a perfect punch of tanginess to it.
3. Raspberry Madagascar vanilla - Ordered because of the name and I totally don't regret my choice. Fresh raspberry cream sandwiched between vanilla. Easily one the tasty ice cream pastry I've ever tried my hands on.
4. Pan cakes with caramelized banana and whipped cream - Fluffy pancakes with amazing caramel sauce topped with fresh banana slices was served with whipped cream. It was so filling and can't be finished by a single person after a meal.

Our bill amount was ₹992. Despite the cost, the ambience and food is what needs to be enjoyed here. Treat yourself for an amazing Italian cuisine and best ice cream pastries in town and you will not feel cheated. Compared to other established continental cuisines the budget was quite reasonable here. Will definitely dine again 💫
Such a pretty place. All marks to the ambiance. The place is a 5/5 for desserts. and starters. We ordered ice cream, Mississippi mud pie, and in starters, we ordered some french fries and baked spinach and corn balls. All of them were great. I would not recommend this place for a meal. The mains menu is very limited.
Very Nice place for date and Hangouts. Service and Ambience are really cool. Coming to Food, yes it was delicious.

1. Nachos - Was really yummy with sour cream and cheddar cheese
2. Verde Pizza - Loved the Perfectly Crisp base with Crunchy Veggies and Oozing out cheese.
3. Spaghetti Genova - Delicious
4. Mississipi Mudpie - 5 layered Dessert, loved the whipped cream, Madagascar Vanilla ice cream but I hated the dark chocolate flavoured ice cream and the cookie crumbs were too good because of that am reducing one star.
Overall a must visit place for food and Ambience.

This place was suggested by my best friend who had this in his bucket for a long time !! Wow !! The ambience was good, in shades of green. The seating was comfortable. The food was yummy in my tummy.
We ordered Garlic bread with cheese. The bread was so soft and it just melts in your mouth. The cheese was rich.
The nachos was my personal favourite. The best nachos I've had in a really long time.
The Lasagna Verde was too good to be true. The bean tacos was ok. It wasn't a "out of the world" dish.
The thin crust BBQ cottage cheese pizza tasted yum too. It was so light yet tasty.
Coming to Amelie's and not tasting their desserts is a crime. We had the Ferrero pastry and Coffee and Peanut pastry. The former took us straight to heaven. The latter has a strong coffee bitterness but once we got used to it, we were ok. The ice creams were a delight. The bubble gum ice cream have me a strong 90s kids vibe.
Go for this place when you want a cozy ambience with good food and awesome desserts and kind of pocket friendly.
Simply wow 🤩 like there simple menu and portion they serve that make you too finish off and not to waste food, specially their ice cream I just loved their taste, waiting to see more flavours. Amelies kat & ferro roacher it’s a true bliss, simply wow and feels more royal to have those in your hanging out with your friends & family.
Amazing ambiance and courteous staff. Food is great here especially for cheese and chocolate lovers. A good place for a nice chat with friends.

Lovely and calm environment. Very affordable when compared to other Italian places. Choco Brownie is a must try. That was literally the best brownie I ever had. Grilled chicken breast with mashed potatoes is my personal favourite.
Its been 18 months I have eaten there. Went there with friends and ambience is too good. If you love Italian food then this place is for you, the taste is good. Prices are low but they will provide less quantity. I didn't go that side again so didn't eat but definitely will go with friends again.
Well this place was on my bookmark's for quite a while and finally I made it today. The ambience is very attractive which can be notice once we enter inside. The feel is really pleasant and the music playing there gives a good vibe.
The food is really good considering the quality and the quantity. The food is really satisfying for the price paid and the rates are reasonable compared to many other cafes.
I really loved the peanuts and coffee pastry, it was one of a kind and tasted really good. The pop-sticks they have on display are really catchy and colourful which will make anyone go for it without much thinking.
The staff are really courteous and generous, the service provided is really so good. This place is easy to spot without much difficulty and they have a very good parking facility. Overall I really enjoyed my experience here and I look forward for another visit soon.
The Banana Carmel IceCream was just out of this world! Love the ambiance, the soups and of course the IceCream bowls. One of the my favourite cafes in the city!
Amelie's, a cozy dessert bar is how I would define. Ambience is vintage n classy. Staffs are great. Free ice cream taste test before you choose from. The Belgian chocolate and Raspberry sorbet was a smashing combination. Pairing it up with the Swiss chocolate is just eternal. The mud pie was good too, but we waited for almost half an hour for it, which was disappointing.

Crowded and buzzing with the younger generation hanging out in a cool place. Good choice of ice creams particularly of the chocolate kind. Raspberry was good. Service isn’t that quick but expected when really crowded. Parking isn’t a problem. The old house that houses this restaurant is really really spacious in a very very exclusive neighbourhood.

A five star cafe with a rich crowd. The cafe is crowded at weekends because of the place which is located. A professional and high crowd. It has a variety of ice-creams and pastries located at the entrance which can be viewed. The service is a bit slow at weekends.

I wanted to visit this place for a long time, I finally had a chance to go today for lunch. The place was cosy and the waitress was courteous.
I went with my friend and we ordered corn and cheddar quesadilla, cornflakes crusted chicken for appetizers, a berry berry smoothies and for the main course I ordered chicken parmigiano while my friend ordered flammkuchen. The food was delicious and if you love chicken, then cornflakes crusted chicken is a must try. I expected the bill amount to be ₹2000 or something but to my surprise it was only ₹1200.
Although car parking might be an issue during peak hours, this is one of the best cafés I’ve been to in a long time!!!
This place is so good , they deliver for what they charge and I totally love this place cause it's delicious and amazing to the core. The ambience is perfect people working there are super good and the food and the ice creams are the best 💓

A nice cafe with the decent food and amazingggg desserts & icecream. The service by waiters is really good, they are polite and suggests food for people with no idea what to order (I didn't ask any, the next table stranger getting help😜)
There are a lot of mirrors in the restaurant, good for selfie person.
Zucchini and mushroom Bao(₹168)- it's average, not much amazed me !! The quantity must be improved. The buns are perfect with mild sweetness. The filling must be made well , I can't distinguish the zucchini and mushroom.
Margherita flat bread(₹138)- it's a simple dish, the cheese is yummy and worth taking a cheese pull video 😍. Decent spread of tomato, I topped it with the oregano, chilli flakes. A good serving portion.
Swiss chocolate pastry(₹165)- it's a delicious cake with rich flavour of chocolate. But it's small though !! , One of the best cake I ever had 😋😋🥰
Icecream with the cone (₹160)- I chose, chocolate brownie fudge, tiramisu (topped with something). Brownie icecream is bitter and unique, tiramisu icecream is delicious and I'm trying for first time.
I'm gonna come again just for their dessert 😉
The restaurant looked beautiful. The service was good. The Thai green curry was unforgettably delicious. The veg trio slider (the mini burgers) were Absolutely Amazing; extremely delicious.
The OG Mac and cheese was also good.
A shared soup, two starters and two main courses cost ₹1800 so it's quite pricey, though. But overall , no complaints about the food and service.
The place is happening. Food had no complaints. But I just have one issue I'm sure at least a couple of them can relate to this. Any food for that matter should be appetizing. The sandwich is so big and stuffed it makes it really difficult to get it to your mouth and I had to ask them to cut it into further pieces. Maybe they can come up with smaller portions (4 instead of 2). The pastries look and taste just fine. The service was great.
We booked via zomato (got 30%of bill :) )for a Sunday afternoon and were pleased to get table at said time without delay. Valet parking was available.
The ambience inside was really artistic and gave pleasing vibes . The had a wide variety of both veg and non veg dishes.
We tried chicken tacos , threaded chicken for starters, was very yum , had watermelon mock tail, Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk and an American mud pie . Apart from the watermelon drink all other dishes were bang on and tantalised our taste buds .
Main course we tried pepperoni pizza , noodle pasta (forgot dish name 😅) and Asian chilli chicken burger . Of the lot burger was really good , amazing bun and patty . Most dishes came with a side of refreshing salad to cleanse the palate . The service was good as well

Loved the fries with three dips, the thin crust pizza localised with cottage cheese and makhni melted in the mouth, the penne with white sauce was thick and delicious and the crowning glory was the Belgian chocolate ice cream.
The service was impeccable and the staff well groomed.
The upholstery is fraying in some places and in general the interiors look tired. Maybe a touch up or a slight colour change will do the trick.
Parking isn’t an issue. Every service crew member is a star. They serve to please the customer. And this is rare to see in Chennai.
Ambience was pleasant on a green theme but restrooms weren’t neat. Food was tasty no complaints on that. It was served with minimal waiting. Price was reasonable in par with other cafes. Definitely will try once again to try other dishes.

A very beautiful place, tucked away in the city. Dainty and straight out of story books.....Food was excellent. The corn chowder was warm and velvety....just a tad heavy. The fries were fresh. The OG Mac N Cheese was cheesy and rich. The Thai red curry was rich and creamy. The desserts are what sets this place apart. The icecreams, brownie and tiramisu were spot on. The hot chocolate was smooth and warm. Our table in charge was excellent, and served us really well!
I had chicken lasagna and tiramisu. The lasagna was good the cheese was good but something made it less tasty and for tiramisu not the best I would say . Good club sandwich and sliders . jackfruit ice cream was surprisingly tasty.
The ambience theme is so pretty - pista colored walls and the showpieces decorated on the wall look pretty. Food is also good. Courteous staff

We had our friends meeting at Amelie’s recently on a Saturday evening. We booked the place at a last moment so we have to wait for few minutes. Initially the place where we sat had an air conditioning issue. It lasted till end of our meal. Amelie’s has been my default hang spot since 2018. Cute ambiance. Perfect for date and friends meeting. Regarding their service, they have been serving wrong dishes twice. Customer service could be better. We ordered the following items

My all time favourite cafe in chennai! This place has a very cozy and warm vibe. The tacos, pastas, pizzas and burgers are so good!! Special mention to their ice cream flavours and cakes😋 Do not miss to try out their Newyork cheesecake ice cream and Swiss chocolate cake!❤️
The place has a beautiful ambience and good food. The dessert is must have thing there. I ordered double cheat chicken burger, fries with dips, Tomato soup, carrot cake with ice-cream (personal recommendation), chocolate pastry double loaded(personal recommendation), veg loaded pizza, and jalapeno cheddar poppers (personal recommendation)
