The ambience was really great. The food was nice I really enjoyed the chicken skewer😍. The pizza & chicken tikka was good. The drinks was really extraordinary 🔥.Cuban will be my first order whenever I visit this place.
The food and drinks were absolutely amazing here. Must try is the grilled fruit chaat. It went so well with the peach schnapps and passionera! The music took me down a trip to all kinds of memory lanes. Super trippy! 😁

The best part about the place is this place also has all sorts of games such as Uno, Zinga, ludo etc to play with. A must go place in chennai and the crowd is very lively. It would have been better if they had a dance floor to enjoy the awsome bollywood tracks they were playing
A bit on the pricey side, but the chic ambience and good food and alcohol makes up for the same. Food could arrive faster and it was very difficult to book a table online or through phone, but otherwise very courteous staff and a great place to chill with friends.
Along with Chamiers, this is another place I'd 12/10 recommend to anyone looking for a terrific place in terms of location, ambience and food. Oh, and there's booze toooooo! Couldn't get more perfect.
Let's see, my favourites are the cheese pierogies (one of the only places in Chennai that serve them I think?), the Lebanese potatoes and the pita pockets. The others are great, but these are the ones that fondly spring to mind.
We usually do a starters + drinks thing here, and I don't recall going for main courses except on one occasion.
Cool place to hang out with Friends. Nice ambience. Good food. Good location though parking could be an issue at times. Staff can be more proactive in getting refills.
Loved the place and what they have done with it. The food was also awesome, went in the noon so it was surprisingly free but tends to get crowded by the evening. Surely recommend to visit this place if you are in the vicinity.
Really loved the place and enjoyed my time , it was one of kind. The food was excellent and left me no room for complaints. My top favorite dish was the BBQ Pork Ribs , Beaten Beef and Grilled Chicken ❤️. The cocktails were amazing 👅 especially the Gin based and Vodka based ones are a must try for any cocktail fanatics. If you love non veg ( Beef Or Pork ) and cocktails. I would personally suggest this as one of my favorite places for others and would love to come here frequently.

Visited this place with a group of friends last week. I loved the ambience and the choice of music in here.
The Blue Cheese Chicken Tikka was one of my favourites from the starters that we ordered. I loved how the cheese was infused with the chicken. It tasted absolutely delicious.
Malvani Mutton Seekh was done well too and I couldn’t stop with one. It would be great with a drink or two!
Cheese Burst Tandoori Cauliflower would have been perfect if the cauliflower didn’t taste stale. The cheese sauce was pretty yummy though.
The sauce was a bit too overpowering in Thai Chilli Chicken. It was definitely not the best and can be improved.
We also tried a couple of Mocktails alongside our starters and felt that these can be improved greatly.
The Pizza with Roast Chicken,
Sun-dried Tomatoes and Jalapeños was baked beautifully. It was loaded with these delicious ingredients. It also came with a thin-crust and was flavoursome.
When I saw the words Hot and Chocolate in the menu, I was pretty curious to try it. The Hot Chocolate was hot and soothing but lacked the perfect chocolate flavour. It could have been slightly thicker.
The Caramel Cheesecake stole the show with its lavish appearance, moist texture and sweet flavour. Loved this to bits.
The Vanilla Panna Cotta was light, silky and rich. It was a classic!
The Tiramisu was absolutely gorgeous. It was light and spongy with a beautiful texture to it.
The four stars are for their desserts 🔥

Location - this resto bar is located in 2nd Main Road, RA puram in close proximity to a lot of restaurants.
Parking - they have a valet parking available.
Ambience - perfect pub atmosphere. You will love the entrance decorated with a huge amount of bottles. Inside area is very darkly lit and perfect for a drink session 😊😊
Service - slooow but what's the deal 😁😁😁we got to enjoy the music and ambience.
Food -
The food menu here is soo vast and we filled our tummy just with the starters. We didn't even order main course.
The must try starters here are blue cheese chicken tikka, Thai chilli chicken, chettinadu rib chukka. The BBQ pork ribs tasted good but the meat quantity was so less.
And the cheese burst tandoori cauliflower was a disaster. The cauliflower was too raw.
Otherwise we loved the starters.
Coming to desserts we loved the cheese cake and pannacotta 😍😍 so yummy.
Drinks
they have a really big cocktail list but coming to mocktails its very limited. But even those mocktails tasted very diluted and we lost interest on the drinks.

I had a wonderful evening at The Velveteen Rabbit. The interiors were chilled out and the service was good. The waiters were polite and on the dot, I appreciate their friendliness. The food was great, I loved the Rosemary Steak, and the Blue Cheese Chicken was to die for. The architecture on the outside will remind you of a bar in Manhattan. Will drop by again very soon.
Small and cozy are collectively the best words to describe this place. Light and interior makes the ambience great. Staff is very good.
They have a lot of options if drink and cocktails are great though for non drinkers the options are bit limited.
We had two staters, Tandoori blue cheese chicken tikka (must have) and pan fry thai chilli chicken. The chicken tikka is very well cooked and the smokiness of tandoor made it haven.
We also had tandoori chicken tikka naanza (which is basically the fussion of naan and pizza), at one point we thought it was a thin crust pizza only but it is awesome.
The quality and taste of food is good but the quantity is not matching with the price. It's lacking a dance floor though.

You will enter a Pub with Beautiful, eclectic decor that's artsy and unique, yet comfortable serving delicious mocktails and top notch bar food .
The cocktails have been specially curated by an internationally renowned mixologist and the food menu has a delicious mix of Italian, Mediterranean and French finger foods.
The Bar is named after a book of the same name . The whole point of the book is to just be yourself and not change for anyone else, which is exactly what happens when you’re drunk.

1)Wedge with edge : Bravia potatoes, garlic aioli and spices tomato . The sauces used was so good . MOST RECOMMENDED
2)Cheese burst Tandoori cauliflower : this was plain and cheesy . Not a Chinese manchurian type dish .
3)Pita bread with Greek dip platter : soft and chewy pita bread with three dips-Hummus, Spicy Larissa and Baba ganoush
4)Chicken tikka Naanza: Pizza with Butter Naan as the base .Some restos serving pizza with chapathi base and how badly they flopped it but this was perfect and probably the best I’ve had ❤️
5)For the chicken lovers there’s a lot of varieties like Skewered Chicken ,Tandoori Blue cheese, chicken tikka , Chicken Seekh Kebab- All of them were favorites 👌🏻
6)Fish N Chips - The Classic side which served along with fries and dip
7)Pesto Chicken & fried egg wrap - served with potato wedges
8)Kheema samosa and their mint chutney which was a good munching snack 👌🏻
9)Fruit platter : If you’re one diet-o-holic or like having fruits with drinks
10)Tiramisu : A classic dessert which they definitely did Justice 👌🏻

And down we went the rabbit hole....The ambience great, the food amazing and the service was good.I have only a few pics because then the lights were dimmed for setting the mood...but I wouldn’t complain that.I would have given 5 stars but the low tables were really hard to sit and make a conversation and we missed out the high chairs.Next time you are booking ask for the normal tables 😬. Must try the curry in jar -Mutton chettinadu was amazing.The roasted chicken pizza was great and the staff was amazing enough to get us a Alfredo penne pasta even though it was not there in the menu.
Absolutely loved the place - the ambience, music and everything else! Easy to spot, has valet parking as well. We had Chicken Naanza (which happens to be a fusion of Naan and Pizza), Fish Fingers and Cheese Nachos. The Fish Fingers tasted really good, the Naanza tasted like a thin crust pizza (we even thought if they’d given us a pizza instead) but tasted great and Cheese Nachos was good too. But most importantly, the quality of alcohol they serve needs a special mention. I’ve been to most of the pubs and bars in the city and I think this is one of those few places that serves alcohol unadulterated. FTW! 👍🏼
We had a Passionera and Elderflower Martini....Not the best but it was potent enough for a Wednesday nite... they were playing English songs and then switched to hindi songs. The Mezze platter is nice and the Schezwan hara bhara kababs strictly okay...
The place looks great but it's not that awesome... everything is priced higher than most places in the same league...but a good experience and great service too...once in a lifetime hop to this rabbit!!
If you are looking for a cozy place to enjoy some good food, booze and good time you will surely like this place. This place has an amazing vibe and real good music. We ordered for mocktails which were nice (sorry forgot the name). Their Chicken cheese rings are just mouth watering something you should definitely try. The drinks are a bit over prized but overall you wont regret visiting.
Nice place to chill and relax with friends. We wanted to just chill so went on a weekend. Had couple of drinks and ordered their Tandoori chicken etc. Was really yummy. Won't mind visiting again.
On a lazy Sunday decided to visit this restaurant for a leisure lunch with my friends. Decided to go for the IMFL Cocktail Brunch.
For the starters I had the Nachos and Salsa, Aloo Corn Tikki and Chilly Paneer in the veg section. Everything was pretty good and the Corn Tikki was my favorite. In the non veg I had the Achari Fish Tikka,Chettinad Chicken Varuval and Jalapeno Spiced Lamb. Also decided to have an Omelette along with it.
For the mains I started off with the Chicken Chettinad Gravy with Rice. In between decided to try the Chicken Tikka Nanzza which was quite unheard of.
Time for desserts now. Had the Walnut brownie and Eggless Hazelnut Torte.
Overall a nice Brunch which was value for money.
Firstly food is daam good, liked all the dishes we tried. Especially "chicken cheese onion ring" was so good that we couldn't refrain from re ordering it multiple times. Among the drinks we tried "The LIIT" stands top. I felt the drinks were highly priced when compared to other pubs in Chennai but it differs from person to person.
DJ was also playing really good Hindi songs, unfortunately there is no dance floor or may be it's not there since we visited on a weekday.
Staff were kind and the person who served us - 'Raj Kumar' was courteous and patient though we got confused on what to order and he helped by suggesting really good dishes. Kudos to him 👍.
Really cool place to hangout. I was in awe right from the entrance, it was such a splendid array of colours and I really enjoyed my time relishing good food.
A very pretty setup with lovely interiors. It gets us a feel of how the bars are in the US. Tried their long island iced tea and what a hit it gives! It's a special place for me considering that's where I welcomed my birthday! ❤ yet to try out the food but a fun place to be with friends!

Went there for the Sunday brunch. The brunch is open between 12-4 which gives ample time for a person to have a leisurely brunch and taste all the goodies on offer.
I had the IMFL Cocktail brunch which is priced at Rs1499 plus service charge.
For the starters I had the Chilly Paneer, Aloo Corn Tikki and Nachos and Salsa in the veg section. The Nachos were nice and crispy and the Salsa was just out of the world. The Chilly Paneer was one of the best I've ever tasted. The Paneer was nice and soft. The Aloo Corn Tikki was also quite delicious.
For the non veg I had the Jalapeno Spiced Lamb Skewers, Chettinad Chicken Varuval and Achari Fish Tikka. The Lamb Skewers were quite nice and I had to have another plate too. The Achari Fish Tikka was also yummy.
In between I felt the need for an Omelette and so ordered the Chicken Ham Omelette served with hash brown and grilled tomato. It was very yummy.
We had the Pizza and the Nanzza. We ordered the Mixed Seafood Pizza and Chicken Tikka Nanzza. Both were loaded with cheese and full of the yummy goodies.I loved both those dishes.
For the Main Course I chose the Penne Arabiatta Pasta and Chicken Chettinad gravy with rice. I loved the pasta, it was nice and yummy.
For the dessert I had the Eggless Hazelnut Torte and the Walnut Brownie. Both were delicious.
Overall a more than above value for money brunch but do go there early to pace yourself to have all these goodies.

When we came to know that The Velvetten Rabbit located in R.A. Puram had started a Sunday Brunch we had no hesitation in opting to spend our Sunday afternoon there.
They have Four options to choose from Non Alcoholic Brunch @ Rs999, IMFL Cocktail Brunch @ Rs 1499 ,Unlimited IMFL and Wine @ Rs 1999, Sparkling Wine @ Rs 1599 ( Limited).
The Food menu includes Choice of Eggs & Assorted Bread Basket, Starters and Appetizers, Pizza or Nanzza by the Slice , Main Course and finished off with Dessert.
I chose the Sparkling Wine Brunch and the wine served was Sula Brut a product of Sula Vineyards located in Maharashtra. It was quite smooth and had no ill effects afterwords.
We started off with the Chicken Ham Omelette, served with Hash Brown and Grilled Tomato. The ham in the omelette gave it a nice taste. Followed with the Chilly Panneer and Aloo Corn Tikki in the Veg section and Jalapeno Spiced Lamb Skewer, Chettinad Chicken Varuval and the Achari Fish Tikka. I loved the Fish Tikka and the Lamb Skewers which were just too good with the dip provided. The chicken varuval on the bone provided an authentic south Indian feel.
Followed by Pizza and Nanzza which is a cross between the Pizza and our very own Naan. The Naan was topped with Chicken Tikka and loaded with cheese and was just too good. The main course I had was the Rice and Chicken Chettinad which was quite delicious with the right amount of spice just the way I like it.
Finished off with the taste of the Eggless Hazel Nut Torte and the Walnut Brownie. Both didn't disappoint. The service was attentive but unobtrusive and the burrow provided a fantastic atmosphere to spend time relaxing with great wine and food on a Sunday afternoon.

The Velveteen Rabbit has introduced a Sparkling Wine brunch which includes a bottle of Sula Brut,6 unlimited starters,mains and dessert.
The exteriors of the pub reflect an European facade and the interiors especially the first floor mimic the Boho chic feel.
The ground floor is dominated by the well stocked bar and high,bar stool type of seating.
We wanted to relax so headed up to the comfy armchairs.
Since Iam a teetotaler ,opted for the non alcoholic brunch which is priced at Rs 999/_
The starters of the day were Chettinad Chicken Varuval,Jalapeño spiced Lamb Skewers,Nachos with a superb Salsa dip,Corn Aloo Tikkis,Fish Tikka and a very tasty Chilli Paneer.
Next we opted for the Ham stuffed Omelette served with Hash Browns and Grilled tomatoThis is a standard crowd pleaser at any brunch
Pizza choices included a sea food thin crust pizza and Nanzza ,a fusion of naan base with Pizza toppings.
In addition to these the main course choices included Pasta and Rice/Roti with curry.
I tried the Spaghetti Arrabiata which was very tasty and I sampled he Chettinad Chicken with rice which was delicious.
The dessert options were Walnut Brownie and Almond Choco Torte which was the eggless choice.
This decadent Choco mousse type dessert rounded off the delicious brunch nicely.
The service was very efficient and friendly.
I would definitely recommend the " Burrow" as it is fondly referred to for the competitively priced drinks,delicious food and great service.
Great setup, wished the DJ started lill early... Nice beats tho... Ask the bartender for recommendations.. I was offered a off the menu Bourbon n it was great being it was my first time.
Only complain, food served in room temp gets real cold soon.

The inside has a Irish feel but with the modern fusion...had a great playlist...great food and drinks!

We visited on a Friday night and the place was pumping and lit. We ordered baked nachos and tenderloin skewers. Loved both the dishes. This place is definitely my new favorite. Overall good music, great crowd and tasty food. Visiting again for sure.

Approx one year before, I’ve been the Velveteen Rabbit. It’s ambience was quite good and that time the people was enjoying Karaoke night. When I come to Chennai, I’m sure to go here.
Small and cosy place. Very good food and service. The music was totally my type, club songs from a few years ago. A nice place to relax and have a conversation with friends.

Lovely ambience. Kinda like a G+1 seating. Has a small outdoor seating too. A bit on the expensive side. we used zomato gold for food. The food portions are smaller than usual although very tasty.

It was a good evening spent there with my wife. Mr. Durga is a PRO and suggested us with good Cocktail options as per our need and was very upfront if something we requested was not available. He also went on to suggest main dishes and pointed out few ones which he felt is not up to the mark. REMARKABLE. We had JD, and Passion Fruit Cocktail (dont remember the name) with Chicken Tikka with Blue Cheese. Also had a Ch. Pizza on NAAN which was really good and crust was thin.
The DJ music can be improved as it felt missing something or it was not fitting whatever been played (most probably)-or Probably the music system- I am not sure. Not able to link up to the music at all. Also the Classic Portion of the Cocktail menu can be added up or improved- there is not enough. I did not find Manhattan, Moscow Mule etc.
Overall it is a good restobar with good service (Durga- he was on first floor) and a enjoyable evening with no disappointment
The food was brilliant especially penne arrabiata in mixed sauce. The ambience was fun and their beer cocktails were a fresh and new twist to the alcohol.

A great ambience and really a good looking place. Very polite staff.
They have an impressively wide range of drinks and food. And a great collection of cocktails though they're more expensive than most places around. But they do know how to mix!
Golden Globe : The peach puree was unavailable so it got changed to passion fruit, but no complaints there. It was strong with a good taste of passion fruit. And was quite tall. A must try.
Porn star Martini was also a good drink.
Thai chilli chicken, Garlic Prawns with spiced butter and Mutton kababs for food. They were all great especially the mutton kebabs. Spicy and full of flavour.
Overall a great place to visit and have fun!
Pyrus on my mind..it’s a great place to hang out with friends. In house DJ is awesome and food is great too specially the lamb skewers. It’s slightly heavy on the pocket but worth it! Due to its limited seating you might have to wait for a table. It would be great if they opened up the basement or lower deck space on weekends at least. They usually give it for private parties.

Been here many times and it doesn’t disappoint. It is total of 2 levels and bar counter is in the 1st floor. The staffs are friendly. Food and the cocktail menus are a thumbs up. Finger food and the appetiser are a must try.

After a long week, I decided to visit this place which was nearby to my home. When I entered the place I fell in love with what they have done. The ambience is so nice, calm and one can have such a good time.
The place was deserted when we entered and slowly the crowd started to increase. The staffs are so friendly and gives a nice suggestions about the drink. Started with a few beers and ended up with a nice food! I would recommend this place to be in your list of must to visit for a good weekend!

I've been to many Resto bars in and out in chennai But this hold some special place it's crowdy place well and I've been here on Saturday night obviously the place was it's above level of thinking
Im allergy of crowd but here there is no issues good spacious management well the service is too good and Ambience well the sounds are too good even they can make it Good.
An excellent place for cocktails! The collection of liquor is especially good. It's not so spacious, so don't expect to host a big gathering but would be lovely for your reunions and catching up. It's slightly overpriced, but offers a lot of value; especially for the city it is in.

They more than made up for their previous customers handling. A very few service providers can handle disappointed customers and bring them back to rate them so well.. 👍🏻
Absolutely an impromptu visit cause the place looked good from outside. But, to my surprise, I really liked the place. Lovely ambience and good service. Yes it is a calm place before 7, but don’t we all need that calm!! The best part is that they have some rare liquor collection like absenthe or even Singha(I’ve been searching everywhere for this) Do check out the place 🙂
A perfect place to wind down with a bunch of friends on a weekend. Get those beer mugs brimming and those cocktails coming one after another, with some great groovy music setting the ambience just right. The Arabian platter is to die for !

Have been to this place many times and I must say their courtesy towards customers never went down. Their weightage on ambience, food, service quality and staff courtesy(most importantly) never shattered me and my frnds any of the time and I can strongly say they will never let us down.. And so they deserve 5/5

Awesome place for drinks and food. The name, dangling signboard, French windows, unassuming-yet-stylish ambience, tree-lined avenue - everything about this place gives an European vibe.
Food is fantastic. It's a mixed menu with multiple cuisines. You can order any item randomly from the menu, and it won't disappoint.
Ambience is quite stylish, and tastefully done. There's a mezzanine floor that's opened only when the place is full, and at times restricted to couples.
Pricing is quite premium; service is great. Since its located on a wide, not-so-busy road, parking is not much of a hassle. / Jul-2023.
I recently dined at Velveteen Rabbit, and it was an outstanding experience! The Chicken Tikka Pizza, sweet potato fries, and Paneer Tikka were delightful. The Chicken Tikka Pizza stood out as one of the best. The ambiance was enhanced by perfect music, and the service was top-notch. A must-try for food enthusiasts! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Visited last night and this spot has been on my bucket list for a very long time.
It’s a small place but the ambience and overall service was great. Starters were good but the portions were small for the price. We ordered a pizza for main course and it definitely was value for money. Must visit at-least one if you’re looking to checkout a new place in Chennai.
The decor, space, lighting and food were marvellous! Sunday brunch was spectacular with a wide array of vegetarian and meat-based dishes. My kids and family loved it! The most amazing highlight was listening to the spectacular musician, Shilpa, belt out various songs that we hadn't heard in a long time. Sunday brunch is a MUST, if you want fabulous music, food and ambience to relax and rejuvenate. Thank you all for taking such wonderful care of us.

Located in the heart of the city, small but quiet and pleasant place. The pizza was so good that we ended up ordering the same pizza thrice. The first and second time it was good but the third time, it was a bit salty. My bad, was too hungry and forgot the names of the other dishes 🤣
On the whole, enjoyed the company with my school friends over a drink 🍻
We took the space in the basement for a private event and the space was very classy Food was excellent. The place allowed us to play our own music or connect to the DJ playing upstairs.
Service and drinks were great too and the price to block it in was not bad either for the evening.

Nice upscale bar. Good drinks with massive selection. Food was not that great. Music pretty loud. The close promptly at midnight. They turn out the lights around 11 pm. As midnight gets close, the literally kick you out. Bad when you just got a fresh drink or food!!

A great place to have some casual time with friends. It's small n cozy. There is no dance floor. The overall ambience is dimly lit but a good one. There is a screen which telecasts matches. They have a wide variety of cocktails and drinks. Drinks are quite cheap but the food price is on the higher side. They do have zomato gold.

The moment you step in you will find an absolute place for a perfect drink. This place is very compact and cozy with dull lights, good seating arrangement and good music. They serve a variety of cocktails, wines and beers. The food is good too. They have a separate lounge area for couple and a lower floor for stags(that's my assumption). You will feel that you have just tasted the right taste of the cocktail here. It is priced a bit higher to other outlets but on the other hand you get a good experience for a break. Easily spotted from the road. They have a wallet parking facility and the staff here is really good. I would highly recommend this place.

Location - this resto bar is located in 2nd Main Road, RA puram in close proximity to a lot of restaurants.
Parking - they have a valet parking available.
Ambience - perfect pub atmosphere. You will love the entrance decorated with a huge amount of bottles. Inside area is very darkly lit and perfect for a drink session 😊😊
Service - slooow but what's the deal 😁😁😁we got to enjoy the music and ambience.

The food menu here is soo vast and we filled our tummy just with the starters. We didn't even order main course.
The must try starters here are blue cheese chicken tikka, Thai chilli chicken, chettinadu rib chukka. The BBQ pork ribs tasted good but the meat quantity was so less.
And the cheese burst tandoori cauliflower was a disaster. The cauliflower was too raw.
Otherwise we loved the starters.
Coming to desserts we loved the cheese cake and pannacotta 😍😍 so yummy.
Drinks
they have a really big cocktail list but coming to mocktails its very limited. But even those mocktails tasted very diluted and we lost interest on the drinks.

Went there on a Saturday night with reservation. Took some time to get a place. The service was a bit slow. Staff there tried their best to make it right. Food tasted amazing. Would have tried few more cocktails had the service been faster.
I came here to have a cappuccino, it was dark. The interiors were cozy and beautiful. Although, I arrived in "not to busy hours", but the vibe must be upbeat when in full flow. I like Kathy's suggestion, Velveteen Rabbit is indeed a good one! 😜🤣
