Very tasty food! Neat ambience and hygienic. Variety of food is great, though no South Indian is available. Jain option available for most items. Their 'Malai Broccoli' is not to be missed! Friendly, accommodating staff. Place tends to get noisy if crowded, but if you are taking a large group, you can avail of the private dining room. I go there often with family and friends, who also love this place! Slightly pricey, but worth it!
Taste - 10 out of 5!
Dedicated authentic cooking!
We had peri peri paneer and cajaun spicy potatoes for starters, mexican spicy baked pasta, Schezwan fried rice and Nirvana special biriyani for main course. We had jaljeera and water melon mojito. Peri peri paneer was very okayish and wasn't worth the price. Fried rice could have been spicier and was strictly okay. All other dishes were fantastic. The bill came up to 1500,so definitely worth the price. A good place for vegetarians with many options!!
Quick service. Delectable food. Would definitely recommend.

Went as a large group (15 pax) yesterday to Food Nirvana for dinner. Overall the experience was good.
Had ordered the following and I have included the corresponding rating.
Curried Creme Soup - 5/5
Dragon Paneer - 5/5
Malai Broccoli - 5/5
Ricotta and Spinach Cannellonie - 3/5
Exotic Fusion Sizzler - 4.5/5
Crème Garlic Parmesan - 4.5/5
Moroccan Roast Cottage Cheese Steak - 5/5
Sizzling Brownie - 4/5
What stole the show for us was the Curried Creme Soup, Dragon Paneer and Malai Broccoli.
Curried Creme Soup was very distinct. Dragon Paneer (as was all Paneer items) was succulent and melted in the mouth. Malai Broccoli was perfect with both Pudhina Chutney and Mayo. Moroccan Roast Cottage Cheese Steak was just outstanding - with the paneer steak tasting way too good.
Ricotta Spinach Cannellonie didn't have much of crème (white sauce) and the lasagne sheets were also hard at the edges.
Exotic Fusion Sizzler was very good but the quantity didn't justify the price. Wish the portion was larger.
Accompanying Garlic Breads need to be more fresh and crispy - they were NOT melting in the mouth.
Service was very good and the staff were very courteous.

Limited parking available.
Peri peri panner, malai brocolli as starters and panna cotta in desserts.
Taste-3.5/5
Peri peri panner and malai brocolli were good but can be improved a bit, taste wise
Panna cotta was really delicious.
Add to the very many restaurants that are purely vegetarian popping up in Chennai. The menu is fairly mixed with a few preset combos on offer. The service though needs to be looked at with the waiters not really paying attention to what is being said and also what they are offering.
Great place to have Pure Vegetarian Cuisine with family and friends. Do not miss their Malai Broccoli!!!
Real treat with affrodable prices . the portion size is sufficient to fulfill two people quite cozy nice place to dine . The place lack in hot beverages thats it rest ol is thumps up nice great vegetarian food liked it immenesly
I had tried malai broccoli and zafrani baby corn.. It was tasty and presentation was good.. Ambience and service is good too.. Price is slight high which is ok considering all other positive aspects..
This place is amazing. Have gone a million times with family. Anniversary's/Birthday's and a lot of other occasions. Have had a variety of things here. My go to is the Dragon Paneer and the Spanish and mushroom pasta, instead of mushroom I have broccoli, with extra garlic bread(always). Would go here a million more times.
Been wanting to visit this place for a while and got a chance today.
Dishes ordered
1. Zafrani baby corn touted to be a moughali dish served with chutney and mustard Mayo. The dish was perfectly blended and i loved it the most.
2. Ricotta and spinach triangles.. A puff like dish stuffed with ricotta cheese and spinach. Another tick mark for the dish as it was tasty and oil free.
3. For the main course ordered masala kulcha and garlic naan which was loaded with butter.
4 . Paneer tikka butter masala was the gravy ordered. Generally panner tikka masala will be very spicy but this one was mildly spicy and garnished with cheese.
5 . vegetable kaju pulav . a perfect pulav with rice and vegetables sauted in ghee and mixed with spices to perfection. This dish was woowww❤
6 . for the desserts ordered the sizziling brownie and triple chocolate mousse cake. Both were amazing.
Overall a classy place to enjoy with your family for perfect lunch or dinner.
Quick service, attentive staff. Good food.
Just one hiccup lost them a point, the Panneer tikka had no salt in it, I sent the dish back, but the one that came back was still salt less.
Otherwise great place to visit. Wicked milkshakes by the way.
This is the best vegetarian restaurant which serves best vegetarian dishes in the city it’s a must try for everyone, me being a non vegetarian loved their veg varieties 👍🏼
Excellent dining experience. Platter was really good, especially the malai broccoli. Apple celery twist is really good. Helpful staff and a real family joint touch. Do not miss this place.
The ambiance is good.Taste of the food is pretty awesome! A good place for a vegetarian food.An ideal place for family outings.Car parking is available.
Decent ambience. The waiters are very courteous. The food is very good. We have had the opportunity to eat here multiple times. The first time, we ordered pastas and came away very happy. The second time we ordered North Indian and it was great too. I am not usually a fan of multi cuisine restaurants but Food Nirvana is an exception.
Went for a brunch with family and ordered Roasted Tomato Basil soup, Crispy Fried Corn Niblets, Malai Broccoli, Maharaja Thalis, Butter Naans and Phool Makhana Mutter along with Tropical Sunrise, Jaljeera and Apple Celery Twist. The highlight was the Malai Broccoli- it was delicious! Not a big fan of the Phool Makhana Mutter but that's more to do with my individual taste than the actual dish. Slightly on the expensive side but a very good place to eat with family, and for big outings in general. They also have a continental side where they serve Italian and other cuisines so you have quite a bit of choice. Ambience is pleasant and the furnishings and decor add to the coziness of the place. The staff are extremely polite and courteous as well. Keep the good service up!
Friendly staff and good service. The food is delicious and the ambience is great. Thoroughly enjoyed the desserts, especially gajar ka halwa. Although a little expensive, do visit this place for a good experience.
Visited for lunch. Good ambience. A great place for a leisure lunch. Staff were friendly courteous and attentive. Had malabar parota which was very very nice. Phool makhana and peas gravy a different variety. Tasted good. Tandoori momos was bland. Curry creme soup was good. Everyrhing was fine. No lift tat s the only one disadvantage. The name board can b more bold and big so will b easy to locate and identify.
Totally was a great experience
Very fine dining. We went for a dinner to taste some North Indian cuisine. We had Curried Cremè soup which was their signature. Bharwani aloo, exactly like stuffed aloo with some good flavour. Malai broccoli which was chef’s finest. Paneer tikka butter masala which was also too good. We finished off with hot carrot halwa which was delicious too. Ambience which was also finest. A must try once.
Pure Veg Restaurant. Price Little Costly But Worth it. Must Try Creamy Garlic Pasta (White Sauce) & Malai Broccoli. Very Good Ambiance. Very Friendly Staff.
Back on my food hunt and this time it was food nirvana .
Location and ambience : It’s very easy to locate as its on the main road and google does provide with the right direction . It’s well decorated with golden lights. The best thing is they have valet parking . The restaurant is on the first floor and while you climb the stairs there a beautiful picture of a peacock (selfie spot) . As you enter you can see a beautiful , well lite place that’s very calm and good for a peaceful dinner or lunch . The interiors was very simple but elegant .
Menu: I had planned on eating maharaja thali but to my disappointment it wasn’t for dinner but only for lunch (should go back and have it for lunch ) . So then we ordered
Chaas (butter milk) - It was served in a glass . The flavour of coriander seeds and coriander leaves in that chaas was too good and it being so chill . That chillness and flavour is a must try with any sort of food .
Masala papad- The best thing about it is that you don’t have to break the papad. They provide you with small size papads and the masala is given separate . Just the right amount of masala and papad for having the right taste .
Dal makhani - So creamy !!! Just loved it . Rajma and dal were well cooked . I was eating it even without the roti . It was that good .
Roti - Nothing special about it though. Perfect softness and everything about it was good .
Schezwan noodles - Hotness and crunchiness !!! It had the right amount of spiciness and the vegetables were crunchy just the way it tastes good . The noodles weren’t thick actually it was pretty thinner than the usual noodles we find . As a whole it was just delicious .
Service : Very friendly customer service . Maybe the order took sometime but the food was good so that doesn’t matter .
A place that can be visited again and again for sure !
1) CREME GARLIC PENNE
2)CASHEW MASALA
3)PUNIDHA STUFFED NAAN AND GARLIC BUTTER NAAN
4)DRAGON PANNER FRY (THE BEST STARTER)
5) TOMATO SOUP
6)MALLAI BROCCOLI (I HAVEN'T TASTED SUCH AN AMAZING BROCCOLI)
DON'T MISS TO EAT BROCCOLI HERE
Went in for having dinner at this place on a Sunday evening.... I would recommend you to reserve a table before going in... Had creamy soup which was their signature dish... Then we had tandoori paneer, chilly crispy baby corn and tandoori momos... To be honest never expected such a good food here... Then their rotis and subzis were again far beyond my expectation.... I would have a given a 5 star but I had to wait for 20 mins despite booking table
Where can I start ....I had an excellent experience today at this restaurant,no wonder they call it a family restaurant cos they treat you like a family.
Mr.Gandhi the manager took care of us so so well
Food was Soo soo good pipping hot and came in prompt time, and we had no time wasted...
WT we ordered: mint n lemon grass cooler, masala butter milk 5/5*
Starter: ricotta triangle,Malai broccoli 5/5*
Main: tequila pasta and Maharaja thali to 4/5*
Delight:pan ice cream 5/5*
Total price : 1701.... worth a shot for the good food and experience
Surprise: The chef, when is the owner you see how everything works on dot...
Mr.srivatsan the owner and sue chef was very sweet and extremely friendly....
Thank you for a lovely lunch and will be visiting you soon😍
A family vegetarian restaurant with adequate ambience offering multiple cuisines to suit everyone’s taste.
Quantity may be just adequate for a foodie but quality is not compromised. For the price charged, quantity can be increased.
If you want to dine leaving back the usual ones we eat every other day, then you will surely like the spread.
Car parking space is less and the restaurant is in the first floor.
I read a lot of reviews about the food, before deciding to host a dinner at Food Nirvana, and I am glad to say that I was not disappointed. It's a long time since I had some food that was so perfect in taste. We started with Broccoli and Spinach soup, which was light and had no added flavours. Everyone loved it. We ordered dragon paneer, ricotta cheese and spinach triangles, and baby corn zafrani. They were all served with dips, which were particularly good. Of the main dishes we ordered, onion kulcha, dal methi chaman, phool makhana matar and aloo gobhi dry were excellent, as has been mentioned in several reviews. Sizzling brownies and paan ice cream were delicious.
I would visit again and again!
It's great being there.... Awesome ambiance.... Great service.... Worth for each every penny ur paying..... Must try at least once..... Every food out there is light... You'll not feel heavy after completing your dining
A must try place for veg lovers. Crowd of mama maami's will define the location already. Its not theme based, though a decent and more like any other good restaurants. The food is good. Fair service. Malai broccoli- will come for you again.
Very courteous staff with a pleasant atmosphere. The peri peri paneer and bharwani aloo are the some of the best starters followed by paneer Lifafa kulcha, kaju paneer pepper fry and ratatouille with herb rice as main course. A must visit place for all veg lovers.
One of the best places in Chennai to have authentic north Indian food. It is easy to locate. It is reasonably priced as well. This is the go to place when you feel like having good amazing north indian food!
After a huge discussion with friends we ended up here. The ambience so friendly and calm it's as if we are at home. Loved the ambience.
We ordered tomato soup. A nice texture and taste along with the traditional stick bread... Loved it.
For starters we ordered Cream broccoli and tandoori momos... The cream broccoli was something new and different and I have mixed reviews about it. The let down was the tandoori momos. They tasted like Mysore masala dosa. Absolutely disappointed.
For mains we ordered kadai paneer and 4 tandoori rotis. The kadai paneer had huge portions. 4 of us had are belly full. The tandoori rotis were nice and warm and they had huge portions.
And 2 glasses of buttermilk. Big glass and it tasted amazing.
For 1,512 this was an absolute delight
This restaurant was a discovery we made by fluke. The ambience and seating is good and well kept. Hygienic.
Now comes the best part. It is very hard for me to articulate the beauty of food. It is like the chef speaks to the tastes and ingredients and they listen to him providing a perfect blend of base taste with dash of other flavours perfectly balanced like a ballad. No ingredient tries to steal the taste alone. It is very polite on the palate. And no matter what cuisine you order, you are in for a surprise, tandoori, continental, Chinese etc. recently I learnt that the chef is the son of the owner himself. Hence the same consistency despite my second visit after a year’s gap.
Must go place for veg lovers. Normal parlance otherwise is that veg lovers don’t have much variety. This restaurant will change that.
Good job and keep it up.
A friend recommended Food Nirvana and after a quick check on zomato we decided to try it out on a Saturday night. The ambience was quite ordinary, nothing unusual or quirky to attract your attention. Located on the first floor and has valet parking facility but climbing the stairs maybe a little strenuous for the aged. The place doesnt accept reservations so we had to walk in directly and wait for a couple of minutes before we were seated. We were a family of seven and ordered tomato basil and curried cream soups. The curried cream manchow was delicious .For starters we went ahead with their most reputed dish the malai brocolli and we werent disappointed. Brocolli never tasted this good. We followed it with a tandoori platter that was an assortment of all the other starters on menu like aloo bharwan, corn on toast and dragon paneer. They have a Jain version for most dishes so feel free to explicitly request for one. The menu is pretty detailed so you can also be aware of dishes that take a long time to prepare before you place your order. Our main course was aglio olio peperoncino pasta with just the right amount of spice .For desserts we went ahead with paan ice creams, Mali kulfi and fruit fanda(faluda). Everything tasted good but my favourite was the malai kulfi. Staff were quick and adept in their duties and inspite of the crowd were composed and were efficient with most orders. We had a hearty meal and would definitely recommend the place
Great little place for pure veggies. Perfect ambience for friends' gathering. Food is great. Only three options are available for soup, we ordered 2 of it which were great. For starters we ordered Malai Broccoli ( a must try for broccoli lovers) & Zafrani Babycorn ( not so impressive). For main course, we ordered different kinds of pasta dishes , spicy mexican pasta bake (which was not that spicy though) and mama rossa( which was normal only). Atlast, we had sizzling brownie which was amazing. Overall, great place to hangout without burning your pockets much. We did not try north indian food but I am sure it must be good. Overall service was good. Must visit once.
Although it's a bit pricey compared to the average restaurants, the amazing food, great ambience and very courteous service more than makes up for the higher price.
Bharwani aloo has a mild yet rich filling of mixed vegetables, cashews and rasins and is perfectly grilled.
Nirvana special biriyani is a must try. With every spoonful you eat, there's an amazing aroma of ghee and the blissful taste of fried onions. The raita blends with this combination to create on your palate, a symphony so beautiful that you fall in love with the taste with every spoon you have.
Mexican pasta bake is spicy as promised and equally cheesy and creamy. The mix of pastas gives it a fun turn although the bread accompaniment could have been more toasted.
Finally, the Kiwi cooler gives a very soothing effect with it's mild flavours and a twist of lemonade.
The staff is very courteous and the ambience very pleasant. It's definitely worth a visit.
Excellent food, all the dishes that we ordered were top-notch . Food was served on time despite the crowd at the restaurant which I otherwise see lacking in a lot of restaurants. Courteous and polite staff who made sure we had a great dining experience.

Must eats - paneer lafifa kulcha, tandoori platter, sizzling chocolate brownie, pan ice cream.
Polite staff, clean atmosphere, nice ambience.
I strongly recommend this place to all.. enjoy ❤️
We went to this place for dinner on a weekend and ordered tomato soup, spinach & ricotta triangles, peri peri paneer, veg lasagna, nirvana spl biryani, breads, & phool makhana mutter. All the items were spot on and were served hot. Staff were courteous. Overall, a good experience!! 🙂
Excellent food. Especially dragon paneer and malai broccoli .. had a good experience. Would definitely recommend ppl to eat here . Even the servers were kind
Easy to locate. Small and humble joint with different and tasty dishes. We had the
- Malai broccoli - never tasted anything like this before. Very tasty. Grilled to perfection with flavoured Malai.
- Peri Peri paneer - not so Peri Peri
- creme garlic parmesan pasta
-red paprika with sundried tomato cream - little misguiding cuz we thought the pasta sauce was tomato cream but was actually white with bits of sundried tomato. Nevertheless, it was tasty.
- Tequila cream - very subtle flavor running through. Gave a good balance for the white sause
- spicy Mexican pasta bake - lovely Tomo cream sause with exotic veggies. Yum!
- Truffle oil with sundried tomato - this was a star. Have it with fusilli pasta.
- Ricotta and spinach cannelloni - lovely cheese filled pasta tubes with a rich tomato sauce.
.
.
Their Indian food is great too. Def try their phool-makhana mutter.
Happy dining

1. Dragon Paneer – INR 210/-
Ya you guessed it right. Time to complete the year with some paneer. The final round of 2017 for paneer. I had it with tears in my eyes that I can eat paneer only next year, that was a week away. I missed him after the plate got empty. Oh My God! Great dish recommended by cousins and completed by cousins. Worth it!
2. Cauliflower Manchurian – INR 180/-
Look what they have done here. They don’t even call it Gobi Manchurian. #GobiRacists these people are. Leaving aside the scandal thingy, this would always be on my list no matter wherever I dine. This is like that one chair that has all the clothes. Though doesn’t serve the purpose, it has to be there no matter what. Recommended but costly.
3. Nirvana Special Biryani – INR 260/-
What else does a vegetarian explore with the rice masalas and vegetables. It’s biryani again. True to its name, it stood for the taste and I would highly recommend this here. Something is special in it and you can experience it here. Price is engineering guy’s arrears high.
4. Masala Kulcha – INR 90/-
The best ever Masala Kulcha I have ever had. Period! It had all the items to fully pack itself comfortably into your tummy, but I had to make space for the other dishes and I ate it all by myself. Totally worth it but pricey though.
5. Malabar Paratha – INR 60/-
Trying this for the first time. I was sceptical about it initially because Malabar has a coconut flavour to it. This was good and I had it with the side dishes we ordered. Recommended.
6. Paneer Tikka Butter Masala – INR 290/-
Another paneer side dish for the kulcha and the biryani. We were on a roll and started eating everything that came to us from any side of the table. This was the best one to get along with kulcha, biryani, paratha and the pulao (I just tasted it but the guys on the other end ordered it). Highly recommended here. Please see the picture below to find myself taking a click with the to-be-sent-to-my-heart thing.
7. Bhindi Do Pyaza – INR 230/-
The form of bhindi that I had not tried so many times and here it was. Cool dish that’s dry and goes well with the biryani and pulao. The quantity seemed little for us, but we managed to get through. Price is on the higher side.
8. Carrot Halwa – INR 95/-
Totally in love with this sweet and as recommended by my cousin, I had this. This is the ultimate bliss to end your dinner. It just glides into your throat as the cherry that’s on the Mango Italian Fiesta Ice-Cream cake from the Ibaco does. Quantity is less for the price. Damn!
We had a lot more than this. I shall attach the pictures of it and also the bill with GST(5%) Had all this with Ram Bhavesh
I went here on a sunny afternoon, really hungry. I ordered a kulcha combo. It had 2 kulchas cut into half, served hot with raita and a delicious subji. The service was very quick, as the staff had assured me, as I was in a hurry. Relished the food!
I had visited this restaurant after seeing the reviews on Zomato and this experience did not fail me .The best restaurant I had visited in Chennai with unique blend of spices and choices .
One of the best flavors of North Indian delicacy yummy natural no flavoring and artificial colors .
Basil tomato soup was thin and the best I had tasted in the years .
A must try place with family
Ambiance is very decent
Waiters are so polite
Food is amazing
Loved everything about this place
Will try again very soon 😍👍🏻
Neat ambience, good food. We liked the tandoor momos and the Moroccan dish. The pasta Alfredo was simple yet very tasty. The brownie sizzler is a must eat for dessert
Very nice food and great staff!!
I say “great staff” because we were a group of 10 people and went for dinner there around 30 mins before closing time. We expected very curt responses from the staff but instead they were very accommodating and served us well after the closing time as well! Very friendly people!
And the food is absolutely great! You can see from the attached photos! Good portions as well! I in particular loved the Mexican spicy pasta. Very very nice and hot and perfect amount of spice! The bread on the side was nice and crispy. The mixed platter has a huge variety of starters on it including spiced baby corn!
This restaurant in short was a pleasant surprise for us.
Great food and greater staff!
Have been to this place many times and never become dissatisfied . Yummy food and pastas here are amazing . Especially the pink sauce and the white sauce are amazing . Great place to visit with family.

Very good choice for north Indian veggie food. Their Maharaja Thali was sumptuous and quantity was just about enough. Not too little it or not too much. However they found it a bit difficult to manage crowd as people swarmed the place for lunch. The floor manager was courteous enough on keeping tabs on whats needed while managing the waiting crowd as well. Overall good experience. Total bill around 700 for 2 ppl.

Coming from a vegetarian family , I was looking for a vegetarian restaurant to celebrate my brother’s birthday. After looking at few , one of our family friend suggested Food Nirvana in RA Puram. We all went there with no expectation as such. We reached at 7 in the evening (restaurant opens at 7PM) and we were led to our table right away without any delay. After settling down we ordered our soups and starters with some help from the waiter who helped in chosing the same. The soups didnt disappoint especially the Curried Crime - just the right taste to start the dinner with. We ordered the Malai Brocolli starter which was really good - a different twist to eating Brocolli. Then we ordered our main course which included the Veg Lasagna , Creme Garlic Parmesan, Spinach Mushroom Creme and Aglio Olio Peperocino(dry pasta without the excess pasta sauce). All 4 dishes were unique and tasted good. The lasagna was a surprise because to someone who doesnt eat meat and wants a lasagna this is really good. The indian section was nice as well eapecially the Kashmiri Naan. We finished our dinner with a tropical Sunrise mocktail and a watermelon thyme juice both tasty indeed and a fruit fundae and chocolate fudge icecream - simply yummy.
If your a veggie and a foodie who likes to taste italian and mexican styles then you should check this out. The price was not all expensive when you compare it with other restaurants which serves similar dishes . A big Thumbs Up
The serving was equally good , there was no delay as such . People were really frendly and would help you out in case you have special requirements like only eating jain food. The food did not feel heavy which is all the more important.
I have visited Food Nirvana with my family many times. This restaurant is located very near to Cream Centre, R.A. Puram.
Favorites: Garlic bread, Food Nirvana Special Briyani Cashew gravy and their Punch drink.
I wish to meet their Chef one day and thank him/her personally. Whatever he makes, it tastes authentically. (But it takes more time to get your dishes when compared with other restaurants :P ) Don’t change - don’t change :)
Areas of improvement: Waiting time to get your table and lift (if possible)
This place is just a perfect one for vegetarians who want to have different shades of colour and taste with those like spices. Being a full time non vegetarian got bored with foods. So I got my mom here to try new dishes in veg. Really loved the food and ambience. It was a real treat to my mom. Happiness is that she liked it.

Don't miss the aloo bharwani
Located near Mandaveli Railway Station, Food Nirvana boasts of a simple yet Serene ambience. The Bharwani Aloo is a must try. The Pastas were good but slightly overpriced.
The Kashmiri Naan is a blissful combination of Sweet and Salt. The kadai paneer gravy was top notch. The Szechuan Fried Rice tasted Blant and kind of nullified the Kashmiri Naan taste.
Carrot Halwa was very good and the Paan Ice cream was delicious.
For a group of 6, the bill came to ₹2283. A few hundred bucks higher than the other Vegetarian Outlets.
Thank you, Team Food Nirvana.
We went there after Mezze was closed. So it was a last minute plan to go here. I have been previously to Twisty tails and Mexicano griller and I decided this place was one of those kinds after looking at the menu card. Kashmiri Naan and Paan Ice Cream were absolutely brilliant. One of my friends duly noted that "Machan romba naal ku aprom ipo than da different flavour le Ice cream saapdren" . Coincidentally both of this dishes were 'Chef recommended' on the menu. The price was little high and we thought it should have been 100 Rs. less for each person.
One of the best North Indian restaurant i have tried! Food was really yummy!
But on the day i went, there was a family of around 30ppl celebrating som function.. So it was noisy and there were no enough waiters! But i hope its just a one day problm!
Very peaceful ambience! The peacock wall post in the entrance is an immediate attraction.
Food : We ordered the
1)Maharaja thali - which had soup and the items shown in the picture...it was filling in quantity...we didn't like the soup thou...other items were good!
2) Paratha combo- this was value for money and real stomach filling! They provide the side dish of the day with our choice of stuffed parathas or kulchas.
Food was delicious ..
We ordered crispy corn & kadai paneer
Both yum

Overall good restro for vegetarians
Was here on a Saturday evening a bit early so that we can avoid the wait time in case there was a rush.. But the service was so fast and good that there was literally either no wait or very less wait time..!!
Had 3 awesome starters of Mushroom Salt & Pepper, Dragon Paneer and Cottage Cheese Aglio Olio.. For the main course, we had the regular breads like Naan and Roti to with 2 amazing gravies.. Dal Methi Chaman (very unique and would suggest it as a must try here) and Bhindi Do Pyaza..!!
For dessert we had Bubble Gum Shake and Malai Kulfi.. None of the dishes disappointed us..!! Awesome time, awesome food, awesome service (courteous staff) to wrap it up..!!
One my best find for a veg restaurant..!! Will definitely visit again..!!

Food Nirvana, a place that has a promising standard of food but is yet to reach the destination for Nirvana. It's not about being biased but the expectations that a person's taste buds has these days out of the enormous options that were strewn over with.
The restaurant is not a difficult task to locate. You have one more option beside the restaurant which nine other than 'Cream Center' and also Velveteen Rabbit' which is one of the pubs that you'd find which has been raising expectations.
I had the opportunity to visit the restaurant on a weekend and I was told that I may not be able to get a place to sit immediately. As advised, that's exactly the situation that I came across. Looking at the intensity of the crowd, my expectations bar was on a high level. Crowd management wasn't professional and it was absolute chaos. Staffs were way too busy buzzing around wherein they couldn't give attention for a few people wanting to know some information with regards to their menu choices. I noticed that a few waiters were rushing around with the menu choices though it ain't a difficult task to rectify. I had to wait for quite sometime until I was given a place to sit with two other people who accompanied me.
Being a full house the restaurant was way too noisy but still bearable to an extent. There's was nothing we could do about it since there were lot of groups in large numbers and a lot of kids as well which in turn gives the reason being noisy. The decibel level eventually settled down by the time we had ordered our dishes. The food reached us on time and there's nothing to crib about that. The food was very good tantalizing your taste buds but when it comes to portioning I felt it wasn't up to the mark. Can be improved. A specific mention is about the dish that I had ordered with a lot of expectations that ended being a disappointment. I had ordered a dish called 'Ratatouille', a French vegetable dish that has ingredients like tomatoes, onions, zucchini, eggplant, bell peppers, etc. What made me wonder is, the dish isn't served with rice generally, atleast a few places where I have eaten it hadn't served it with rice. Upon receiving it, I decided to give it try and it was disappointing. It wasn't what I had expected and international dishes like these should definitely be improvised.
Apart from the French cuisine being a disappointment the other dishes were absolutely fine. The ambience could be improvised, crowd management should be looked upon and dishes with international flavors can maintain it's originality and authencity. With all these taken into consideration the road to Nirvana is not far away. Would definitely visit once again but with an expectation that doesn't end up making it a last choice when given other options for a restaurant.
The ambience and service is very good. A must try starter is the dragon paneer. Overall the food is delicious and lives to the expectation..
Had gone to this place last sunday for dinner. Had called them before and was told that there was no reservation. But luckily got a place after wait. Ordered soups, panerr tikka, crispy corn, bharwan aloo, garlic nan, butternan, paneer Makhani and veg kofta curry. Every single dish was lipsmacking. Worth the waiting time. Will visit again
We were looking for a new place to go out for lunch and came across this restaurant in Zomato. The restaurant had a nice ambience and very courteous staff. The food was also an absolute delicacy esp. the tandoori platter, Paneer Tikka and their special Nirvana Veg. Biriyani. For desserts we had ordered Choco Fudge Sundae and Fruit Funda with a special long handled spoon-cum-fork. Both the desserts were really good and worth the price. And when we wanted to take a photograph, they switched on the lights and created the right ambience to take the perfect photograph. Overall we were completely satisfied with the restaurant.

Everything was really good and had an awesome time. Would recommend it to everyone. This can be another spot for veggie lovers along with Cream centre
Spotted this restaurant pretty easily and just decided to pay a visit. First of all, friendly and courteous staff. One of the good vegetarian restaurants I've tried so far.
Taste and quality - 4/5
Cost 3/5 (I found it slightly on the higher side)
Staff - 4.5/5
Ambience - 3/5 (Gets a little noisy when it's crowded)
Overall, it was a positive experience that I recommended to my friends and I visited twice afterward too.
After a long time dinner with mom... Located just before mandaveli station this restaurant is easily locatable. To be precise a very few mins drive straight from Cream center, RA puram.
We ordered only starters and main course.
Sweet corn nibbles : Shallow fried sweet corn kernel and tossed with spices. An average dish nothing really to rave. But the quantity is good for two. 2.5/5
Tandoori platter: I wanted to try varieties of starters. So decided to go with the platter. The platter has Paneer tikka, baby corn, malai broccoli, grilled pineapple, bharwan Aloo.
Except baby corn every thing tasted really awesome. Baby corn got its raw smell and it has to cook for some good time. The stand out was malai broccoli and grilled pine apple. After ABs this grilled pineapple is the best I have ever had. Malai broccoli boiled to perfection and was coated with a very tasty malai sauce. Such a nice well made platter to start with. 4.5/5
Tequila creme pasta : I went for penne(you can opt for fussili and spaghetti also) and added broccoli as enhancement. This dish came salt less.. Tabasco and chilli flakes elevated this dish to superb to awesome. They have also customised the proportion to my taste. I asked for more veggies and less pasta and it was done as I said. 4.5/5
Madeley grilled veggies with herb rice : The stand out dish of the day. Exotic veggies grilled with perfect blend of spices and the herb rice was really stand out with their honey chilli sauce. Wow!! Must try. 5/5
Chilli burnt garlic fried rice: A well garlic flavoured fried rice . It was super spicy (I love spicy) and I felt it had more oil. An above average dish 3.5/5
The service was friendly and polite. But they take their sweet time to bring the food. Since I went on Sunday it is acceptable. Not sure about other days.
Ambience kept it very simple and elegant. Spacious too. Large groups can be easily accommodated.
Four wheeler parking could be an issue.
Total damage is 1600 for 2 which is bit expensive but the food and quantity matched it up. A very good place for family outing.
Over all a very happy dinner with #mom and I will definitely visit their place again.
#happy #eating
For that price point and that taste this place will surely give creme centre a run for their money. Given creme center has gone down hill this place is surely a must visit.
The soup could be a bit more thicker. But the taste was good. The lasagna was very good.
Less than 700 for 2 for lunch is a very good price!
Keep up the good work.
I went with others review and thought of trying this long pending restaurant, well the reviews seem to be true it’s really a very good restaurant though being Sunday the place was over crowded but we somehow managed to find a table. Right from the starters to the main course everything was tasty. If you go by the atmosphere you’ll get confused but the taste is defo worth it. Amazing food we had to wait for a long time for the food to come as there was so management issues but no doubt we weren’t disappointed and it was worth the wait.

Good Vegetarian food. 3rd time I went and it didn't disappoint me.
Liked Panneer Tikka, Tandoori platter, Spicy fried baby corn and Pana Cotta.
Parking is available for 2 cars. Valet Parking is also available. Menu is all veg.
The average per head cost would be 500 to 600.
The ambience is good.
Have been to this place twice and it has been absolutely amazing both times. One of the best vegetarian only restaurants in Chennai. Whatever we ordered turned out delicious. There will be waiting time during the weekends but worth it. Good place for family gatherings. Valet parking available.

Food: Got pizza roti, phulkas and garlic Naan. The pizza roti was a bit weird, unsure what Indian curry to pair it with. Garlic naan, nice and roasted garlic, must try.
Hyderabad panneer: Honesty we were expecting a spicy orange gravy but it was a refreshing, spicy dish. Green gravy had a lot of coriander. So if you are into that you might be into this. 6.5/10
The veg gravy was better, creamy (some sabzi with yellow gravy). It does help that the menu has a brief description of the food.
Ambience was good, very neat. Familt and kids friendly. I went at 8, wait time was approx 30 mins. They dont take reservations.
Service was fast but they didn't give us plates, there were no tissues.
Would definitely visit again to try more dishes; eager to find out what their 'star dish' could be because most that were highlighted, in the menu, as chef recommended were panneer dishes.
The unique style of the food was really eye opening. Food tasted really good. The service was quick and nice even during rush hour. Seating should be improved, the chairs are very uncomfortable. The variety of options in the menu is a pleasant change. Pricing is expensive. Good for going on occasions. I recommended you to try this place. You will enjoy it.

Have wide range of choices. Serving tasty food but have to wait for nearly an hour to get seat.
The service is not good and taking more time to serve the food.
Not recommending this place during weekends.
Good ambiance. Delicious food. Well behaved staff. If you are in Chennai & searching for a pure veg restaurant, this will be a great choice.
Good fine dining veg restaurant. Have been here multiple times. Have always had a great time with family. Some of the dishes we ordered took time. Since we all were chatting and we were a bit early we didn't mind the delay. The staff were courteous and menu clearly mentions items that would take longer time.
They don't do reservations over the weekends. If you don't want to wait it's better you be there before 7.30 pm especially if you are big group.
No complaints with any of the items we had ordered. Everything tasted nice. The accompanying mustard sauce that came along with Malai Broccoli was different and tasted awesome.
Would gladly recommend if you are looking for a good vegetarian family fine dining place.
This is such a lovely place, the quality & taste of every food item was top notch. We have been here a couple of times, tried a variety of dishes and everything was great and prepared to the best level.
Their paan ice-cream is a must have! It's their signature dessert.
We also got to meet the chef Mr Shrivatsan, who's a very humble person, spoke well and told us about their protocol in terms of cooking etc.
10/10 without a doubt.
Located in RA puram, small entrance next to yes bank with parking for a couple of cars and the rest street parking with valet. As you go up the narrow stairs it opens into a big area with seating capacity close to 75.. We were recommended to go early for lunch because it is purely first come basis, and right it was, half an hour into our lunch the place got so crowded with people waiting and the noise levels would allow a conversation. Food is good, decent portions not great, service is ok, taste really good 👍, . Wasn't happy with their chef recommended grilled vegetables platter which comes with rice, as cabbage made most of the vegetable portion. These are a few areas they need to address as the expectations are high
Come across this restaurant in the recent past and tried for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. No reservations and strictly on first come first serve basis. Reached before 12:30PM and got the seats quickly. Soup and starters came in fairly quick but main course took lot of time. We got the seat near the entrance and due to the waiting crowd it was bit uncomfortable over there. Tried their signature Malai Broccoli and it was outstanding. Every one of us tried different items and all tasted great. It was worth the wait time. Items are delivered as and when they're done instead of waiting for the completion of all the ordered items. In case of sharing it might be bit difficult among the guests. Overall good food in a reasonable cost. Rated one notch below due to long wait time for the main course and also seating arrangement closer to the waiting guests.
Loved the food here. It was really flavourful but not very spicy. The malai broccoli is really yummy and the paan ice-cream was amazing. The tandoori momos were very good as well. Service was friendly and prompt.
Well maintained ambient. Food quality is good. Variety of dishes. Service is good. There is a private room available for advance booking which can accommodate 15-18 people.

Most of the items we ordered we yummy. Pan ice cream & broccoli kabab were too good. Lotus stem chilli garlic was also pretty good. A North Indian styled kofta call shyam savery was unique and tasted good. Rotis were soft. Paneer biryani was average. The simple Curd rice was out of the world! Can be crowded over weekends but worth the wait
Food is good, service need to be improved.
Too much attitude.
Great vegetarian food. We went as a family of 5.
No need to reserve tables they had adequate tables on a weekday afternoon.
The service was fast and efficient. We ordered few breads and three curries. To me, the best was phul makkna curry (Lotus seed) and dhal makhni.
The paneer stiffed bread was really appetizing too.
Under desserts, we ordered the sizzling brownie it was amazing. A brownie with vanilla ice cream on top and on a hot pan. Wow 🤩
The hype around malai broccoli 🥦🥦 is real along with the sauce accompaniment!!!!... ordered aloo parantha and Nirvana special biryani. Didn't like parantha much and biryani was okayish... ordered panacotta in dessert which was simply amazing.... portion size for all dishes are good....place gets crowded on weekends pretty fast so plan accordingly.... service can be better and faster.....note that maharaja thali and tandoori platter are available only during weekdays... recommended for veg foodies...starters and desserts won't disappoint for sure....
