I ordered mutton briyani and non veg joybox both dish was delicious... While eating their briyani feels like out of world just so tasty and their mayonnaise is 😋 My fav place for briyani... I have ordered n no of times and will keep doing it... Worth for money place

A small yet spacious outlet located on the first floor . Mr . Ajith was my waiter for the day . Polite and humble , he was everything you expect . 10/10 for the service .
I ordered their trademark Thalappakatti Chicken Biriyani and Mutton Chukka . The food was an absolute delight . The chicken and the mutton were cooked perfectly . They were spicy and juicy just the way I like . The gravy and raita that came as sides elevated the flavour of the meal to another level .
Finally , a tall glass of salty lime soda to beat the heat .
Verdict : 4/5 . Sunday lunch done right .

Dindigul Thalappakatti is famous for non veg, but I usually for veg. Food is tasty, but service is bit slow. Menu list is depending on availability as this branch is dependent on Annasalai branch. If dedicated cook is available here service would be more fast. Clean and neat place located in first floor. At a time 80 to 100 guest can take food here. Some people understand our situation and provide priority and fast service for take away. In all branches they use seeragasamba rice so healthy, tasty and yummy. Rate is moderate for two persons 500 main course alone, if with side dishes it will cost 800 to 1000.
Dindigul Thalappakatti Biriyani has its own following💙, and I am one of them.

Food was good and tasty as like any Dindigul Thalappakatti. The place gets crowded as it is opposite to high court mostly filled with lawyers and police. Getting a parking is also nearly impossible.
Overall, it was good, we been to this restaurant with lots of expectations (especially for Mutton Biryani), but yes, it was OK. Service can be improved. We have been to the first floor, and it seems to be a little crowded.

Difference between the gravy served for briyani at same time. First one was good and second one not upto the mark. Fried items very oily especially more moru stick chicken.

Signature place of Chennai. Don't just miss this if you are in Chennai. Focused more on traditional taste rather than texture show off . I personally suggest to go with Mutton biryani than chicken biryani. But in the end it's upto you. Good ambience and air conditioned too in warm chennai. Enjoy :):):)
