There are very few cafes this fine in Chennai. Everything about this place is excellent - the ambiance, the items, the "Just Ask" policy, the polite and courteous staff, the way they prepare the food and don't pester you... Had a great time!

We had ordered a customised cake for our son’s first birthday from Nicky’s. Oh boy! What a lovely piece of treat that was, exactly as envisaged. The freshness, taste, finishing - every was just too good. Unfortunately I’m unable to add a pic. We were very happy with the cake!!!!
God sent they are! Just stumbled upon the store otw and I must tell them 'great job guys'. Super smart employees and the choices of food is brilliant and so is the taste! 'marrocino' was out of the world and so was their sandwich counter. Best part is, i got my remaining food parceled and the boxes were labelled on top, which came as a complete surprise to me when I opened them at home. That was something I always wished for! You guys touched my soul with that neat hand written label�
Has The Best Collection of Cakes. We had the Tiramisu Cake with French Lady Fingers ( Biscuits ) surrounding the cake with a cute Ribbon holding them . It Looked Beautiful and Tasted as good as it looks like. Looking Forward to Order other Varieties of Cake in the Future.

I am a big fan of Nicky's! Everything from the pastries to the cakes to the service is very good and relaxed. You have well mannered staff and caring owners. The only negative I can say is that it's very hard to get some space cos of the very few tables that are available.
Best place and trust me, you will never get disappointed.

Visited this place with friends a while back. Had their Paneer and Veggie sandwich with chatpata mayo, a Nutella shake and a What the Ferrero shake. Yum flavours ! The quantities are vfm. Their cookies and home-made chocolate are a must try too.
Amazing food and amazing pastries. The tiramisu was wonderful and I would definitely love to come here again! The omelette and pasta was very well done and this place is definitely a place you would love to revisit.
Toastie pizza is a must try. Amazingly soft but crisp bread with perfect toppings.
The hazelnut cold coffee was also very good. Pastries looked amazing, didn't get a chance to try :)
A beautifully done place with fine pastries and quick bites options as well. I had ordered a chocolate truffle their one of the supposedly signature dish. The best part about it is that they don't serve cold like other places just from the rack. They slightly warm it, bake it in oven and served in a melted form of chocolate truffle. One of the best I ever had. At 95/- a pc it's worth it. Finished it in under a minute. Would visit again to try there other delicacies. Cherry cheesecake is in mind. Cya.

I would give a 5 star just for the amazing service. They are a group of super enthusiastic and pleasant ladies running a great show. Right from explaining about the menu to serving them on time all are exceeding expectations. While I couldn't complete the fries served as part of the paneer sandwich platter, they were warm enough to pack it up for me perfectly.

One of the best strawberry cake I have eaten. It was soft,creamy and not too sweet with fresh strawberries in between the layers. They made the cake as per the design I gave them. Very good job.

A fine place to satisfy one's sweet cravings. It makes one drool looking at the yummy pastries! The first piece of cake I tried here was the chocolate fudge and boy was it perfect! It had the right amount of chocolate and sweetness in it. I'm pretty sure that even people who don't prefer chocolate will like this because my mom liked it (she says chocolate is too rich and the cakes are too sweet).
All of the pastries here are a must try specially red velvet and Tiramisu.
Soon I'll be back to Nicky's to try out their breakfast menu and the savoury dishes! I'm pretty sure I won't be disappointed :D

..to my bad luck the red velvet cake was not in stock do I tried the rainbow cake(152rs)... Choco truffle(90rs) ....the rainbow was yummy.. But I didn't like the truffle coz it was made up of dark chocolate😵😵....red velvet which was priced at 130 rs was horrible..it was comoletely dried.
Margherita pizza which costs 160 bucks was tooo small but the taste was ok when compared to dominos margherita which is larger and cheaper than this.

Meeting at the famous cafe which has an exquisite ambiance and pocket friendly for friends to meet.
Started off with the Belgian Pistachio cake. Had 3 layers of different creams which was really good to have a small gulp! Was really perfect. We had macaroons from live counter. We had 2 flavors, kind of tasted the same. But no major flaws. Had Cafe Latte and Hot Chocolate! Hot Chocolate was damn perfect. It was neither too thick nor too thin. It was just perfect the way it was! Definitely I'd suggest you this. For shakes, we had Batman's secret portion, Mmm Oreo and snow white. Batman's secret portion was damn good in taste and the flavor of chocolate was high here and this has high VFM. Mmm Oreo was all the bit same but with less flavors of Oreo, just couldn't find the difference. Snow white was a beauty in it's own way. The amazing thing about this Cafe's milkshake menu is that it is not dominated by chocolate based drink. So many other flavors are there including vanilla, pista, strawberry. Hardly we could find 4 chocolate milkshakes in a menu of 12-15 shakes. That is a good thing for the balance. Finally we had Vietnamese iced coffee. Worth the money! Few people won't prefer Vietnamese iced coffee, but if they do this is the place for them! Also we had a lemon tea! We had chocolate centered french toast with whipped cream. It was also a good try! Chocolate oozing out of the toast was the drooling part! Totally it was 1400 for 7 persons.

Had around 30 minutes to kill - happened to be right outside this place and decided to go in.
Ambience is nice and pricing on par with the numerous cafe type joints that are springing up all over the city.
I was planning on just having a cup of tea and ordered their ginger tea. I was pleasantly surprised to see the helper take out raw ginger and grind it manually with a pestle as opposed to using a prefab powder mix for flavour. The tea was quite excellent and I decided to try the chocolate nougat on sale by the counter which was quite yummy.
Next was the blueberry cheesecake also on display - probably amongst the best cheesecakes I have had in the city. The other item that tempted me was the rum ball - this was good chocolate but the rum factor was a bit lacking.

It's at a prime location near to ethiraj college . It has a good ambience and food. We ordered classic veg burger , pink pasta , chocolate truffle and chocolate tart. The dessert was to die for . I absolutely loved the pasta and burger was average .
The food quality and taste is really good. Their service is okayish. The best part about this cafe (only next to the delicious food) is the student offers. Students can post their food pictures and tag Nicky's Cafe in Instagram to avail a 15% off on the bill. Yayyy 😊
We were looking for a good breakfast before a meeting and happened to see this quaint little place. As we entered, we noticed the well done interiors that give a cozy diner vibe.
Menu provided a pleasant array of breakfast options to choose from, we opted for a chai, mint mojito (no picture clicked), Spanish omelette and waffles(pictures attached). The drinks were good, and food amazing! Waffles could match European waffles.
We decided to take a chance and stuck gold with Nicky’s!
Ordered the Ferrero Rocher cake for a birthday surprise. Mr. Savio ensured that it was delivered on time and was very helpful. The cake was moist and decadent and everybody enjoyed it. Great stuff!
Really amazing food. The ambience was really good but the service was quite slow. Friends and I had creamy béchamel, spicy arabiatta and classic pesto. We also had a pizza dish, bianca pizza with mushrooms. The pasta was really good! And the pizza tasted heavenly even though it was a bit too cheesy. I had a red velvet cake and a pistachio macaroon. The red velvet cake was amazing but the macaroon sucked. Such a disappointment. It wasn't chewy on the inside at all and just cracked in my mouth. Wouldn't recommend it. Would definitely visit this place again.

Wow Chennai... A recommendation by my niece and nephew.. so I found out that this a great omelete place . And the Arabatia sauce Pasta was good . Overall , I felt the place is tastefully maintained . So next time you are in Chennai ..do not forget a quick visit to Nicky's .

Nickys has re-launched their Egmore store this weekend with a brand new menu and extended seating space. I have always loved this cozy cafe...feel so much at home here. What caught my eye was the mock meat in their veg n egg only menu. Ordered the mock chicken club sandwich & Cajun spiced fried mozzarella sticks. The club sandwich was super yum, mock chicken was super moist and had to really look twice to check if it was mock indeed. Sandwich was one of best I had eaten in a long time. Then came the bullet shaped fried beauties...OMG..bursting with gooey cheese..the satisfaction of pulling them apart to witness the stretchy mozzarella..a little cajun seasoning...once again a clear winner. Washed this down with a good cup of cappucinno. And the bell rings for churros...brown fried beauties..dusted with cinnamon sugar n drizzled with chocolate sauce. The churros here were fatter than the contemperory ones which I have always had...tasted okay I would still prefer the original thinner ones. Coming back to have the glazed mock chicken, neighbouring table was all gaga about it. I was too full to indulge. Overall happy me.Refreshing menu, extended seating, smart crew, smarter in their new outfits, wider smiles...this place is a clear winner.

I loved the MACAROONS over here. They were so soft and yum. I tasted the Nutella macaroons and chocolate macaroon.

Headed here for a late breakfast. Tried the choco chip pancakes. It was delicious especially the caramel sauce accompanying it. The Mexican waffles were decent. Didn't like the cinnamon flavour much though. Pita bread with hummus was good. And surprisingly the hummus portion was quite big. The peach iced tea was decent too. Good value for money.

When I visited them for the class it was a huge surprise that every bit of bread making was taught and now I am good in baking bread :). Amongst the busy streets in nungambakkam it was a pretty and cozy place for having delicious cakes and other lip smacking bakes. The pizzas and pastas were yummy too. As it was Christmas time the place looked semma bootiful! Faces served us were very friendly and polite. It would be bustling with customers at this time. I have lovely memories associated with Nicky's - my first visit was an early morning visit when I was waiting for my Visa Interview and the second time around was on the day my little one was born. the desserts here are totally yum and what came as a surprise was the absolutely lovely freshly baked thin crust pizza. Went to this cute and compact little cafe for an evening dose of coffee which I had been craving for and ended up having an utterly delicious lipsmacking baked cheescake. A place that I've read a lot of good reviews about and been for quite a long time on my wishlist. Visited on a rainy afternoon. The place was full and we had to wait for around 5-10 minutes for a seat.
Location - It's located in a complex near Ethiraj. Thanks to the huge signboard, it was pretty easy to spot even without the help of Google maps.
Parking - There's ample space for parking cars and bikes inside the complex. It's free too. There is security also assigned to help us park. We didn't have any issues in this area.
Ambience - Neat and attractive. Not too innovative, but decent. Since it was raining that day, the floor was dirty. The air-conditioning and lighting was good. There were 3-4 long tables. The display in the counter was filled with attractive pastries. We were confused which to order. The preparation area was also maintained well.
Service - Place the order at the counter, the items will be delivered at our table. The service was quick, decent and professional.
Food - There is a menu card and items that are not listed in the menu card are also available in the display. We were so confused as there were too many options available in the display. Our orders were:
👉 Mushroom Puff - Pricing it at ₹50 did seem a bit high. However, the quality was really good. It was fresh and crispy. There was reasonable amount of filling in it as well.
👉 Brownie (with hot chocolate sauce) - This was the disaster of the day. The brownie didn't taste good and it was obvious that it wasn't fresh. It was old and hard. We wasted half of it as we couldn't even cut it, it was that hard.
👉 Chocolate Mousse - This was the hit of the day! This looked attractive and each bite just melted in my mouth! It was so soft and the chocolate taste was perfect. I just loved it!
👉 Dark Chocolate Milkshake - This had a pinch of a bitter taste. Didn't taste exactly like chocolate milkshake. Even though chocolate taste was good, the mint like taste that appeared now and then in the drink, spoiled it. Not worth the money.
👉 Blackcurrant Soda - This was good. The quantity was reasonable and the taste was initially very good. However, just like many other places, this had too many ice cubes which ruined the taste towards the end.
Paid ₹590/- which seemed reasonable considering the number of items we had. However, wasn't reasonable considering the quality of certain products. Wasn't completely bowled over by the experience. Can visit once in a while for the Chocolate Mousse.

Nicky's has been in my bookmarks almost for a year now, I specifically chose Egmore branch since it's spacious & they have pizzas & pastas, unlike the mylapore branch.
Visited the place on a weekday along with my two friends, our order was "chili organo fries" , " "creamy bechamel" & "Greek pizza". Everything was so good & I might visit them again for their creamy bechamel alone, it was so creamy & seasoning was perfect!
For drinks we had ordered cold chocolate, raspberry soda & caramel milkshake! If you have a sweet tooth, you will definitely love caramel milkshake! Since the place is all about pastries we couldn't miss it, so we ordered white chocolate & raspberry cake, chocolate mousse & tiramisu. All were good!
Nothing to complain about service, pricing was reasonable! Definitely worth visiting the place.

This cafe is located near the ethiraj college. Finding this cafe won't be so tough but finding a space for parking is sure is . Wanted to order a birthday cake for my mom so I decided to go with Nicky's this time . I must say it's a bit pricy but completely worth the taste . I ordered a 1kg red velvet egg less cake a choco chip cookie.
Red velvet egg less cake - one of the most moist red velvet cakes I've ever had (don't judge me )
The fresh cream had the right amount of sweetness . The price was 1200₹ as it was an egg less cake
Choco chip cookie - this was a let down for me cuz choco chip cookies are my favorites and where ever I order them I want it to be chewy but this was a bit like the packed biscuits .Crisp and not at all chewy .

Yes. One of the best places in Chennai to opt for pastries. I've always wanted to try rainbow cake and thought I'd hit Nicky's for that. The cake was so fresh and tasted as yummy as it looks. I also ordered for Raspberry macroons which was a true delight to my tummy. Everyone was served with a smile. They are so approachable and customer friendly. The only drawback is the space. Other than that Nicky's is a must try place for pastries :D
Bought a combo from nearbuy and reached this place. Pastry and coffee. Hazelnut coffee was really good. Initially it was served not so hot and we had to ask them to bring it hot. Unfortunately this place is tooo small and noisy.

Ordered all these. But the macaroons were the yummmmiest. Omg, they were yummy!! Order a macaroon which costed 50/- , a Black Forest cake 85/- , Oreo milkshake 190/- and a sandwich 100/- . There are no separate taxes!
Nickys was on a wishlist for a real long time , especially keeping in mind for their mouthwatering dessert options.

Veg Coleslaw Sandwich- I generally like my sandwiches cold ;) and the filling in it was creamy, but with too much of carrot ,i found it a bit sweet . Portion wise it was average and for Rs.130 i expect some chips along.
Husband ordered a cold coffee which we both felt was liquidy, but he throughly enjoyed the capsicum puff .
Desserts for once didnt excite FitandFood , but i didnt wanna leave the place without ordering something sweet., so got our hands on the choclate tart, with generous chocolate shavings and a cracking biscuity base. NICKY marks its stamp as being on of the best dessert bar of the city.
Bill- Rs.450, the tart and puff were priced right, rest two i found were not worth it.

Verdict - Just order desserts from them .
Very friendly staff. Have had their black forest pastry, chocolate pyramid and their rainbow cake. They're yum although could be softer. Even their pizza swirls are nice.

Before visiting this place, I had twice ordered food from here. My first impression of the sandwich was - The sauce seem to be made at home. The food felt like it was made with a lot of thinking and care. I was quite intrigued by the choice of ingredients. It was not at all made the way it is usually made at most places - Readymade sauce, readymade ingredients, pack and present. The Nicky's Club is one of my favourites now. The last time I visited the place, I finally got to see the people who run the show and I was quite touched by one incident. One of the workers wasn't feeling her best. The gentleman, who I guess owns the place, told her: "Go home. Take rest. It's okay if you feel tired. You have the right to be tired. I want you to be strong. Come back tomorrow." He spoke politely and with compassion - a rare quality these days. A place is known for the people who lives there and in this case, the people who runs this place. A wonderful bunch of people. I will surely visit the cafe again. If not for the food, for the warm and cozy atmosphere 🙂 Cheers, Su.
Amazing place to hang out with friends. The pastries and the snack item all are scrumptious. Living in the neighborhood gives a great opportunity to order delicious cakes for any petit fete. The ambience gives me the feel of London. It's pleasant and chillax. I love the place totally.

This was my first visit here... plan was to get a birthday cake for my friend meanwhile I grabbed a nearbuy voucher for the same.. with the voucher I checked in the shop and ordered my cake and thy don have any clue about the voucher neither thy accept nor deny..then he/she called up someone and checked about the voucher after the telephonic conversation with that person he/she accepted my order... I requested for a receipt to confirm my order but I dint get any thy just confirmed verbally ... just after reaching home I got a cal from the shop and thy said my voucher is already redeemed and again I explained it was just redeemed in the shop in front of you just check the timing and date when it got redeemed... finally after 5 mins that person called me and confirmed my order for the second time... next morning I went to collect the cake and I guess that was the person in charge or manager who was sitting in the counter don have any clue about my order when I enquired but he was very polite and friendly,asked me to wait for 2 mins. Then he went inside and brought the cake,oooohhh again one more time thy asked me to show the voucher becos I don get any receipt last evening.
taste wise the cake was exceptional and highly economical.
Packing was perfect
To be highlighted: Person who is sitting in the counter must be well aware of the deals /offers/ voucher.
Receipt must be given to avoid discomfort to customers .

Ordered hazelnut coffee, Irish coffee and Choco mouse
Typically the Irish coffee consisted of black coffee, sugar, whipped cream, and Irish 🥃... Except Irish 🥃 all blended with perfection ✌🏻.
Hazelnut coffee was good .. was slightly bitter after taste as it has to be.. 👍🏽
Choco mousee was delicious 😋 it was not refrigerated .. felt it ll be at its best if I refregirate so took 2 mousse home😛 and refrigerated for 30 mins.
Result was 🤤 yummy.

Loved the ambience!!! My day got a perfect kick start with their masala tea and Egg cheese sandwich. Wana try their pastries too. However, I was running out of time and had to rush to office. But will be back to try their pastries!!!!
Its the best Pastry Cafe can find in Chennai. A must try. Italian torrone nougat was also good. Its a must visit place for bakery lovers .
It's a famous, happening cafe at Egmore. I've always loved the bakes here. Sadly, all the drinks we had this day were disappointing to say the least. The emptied the hot chocolate just for the sake of it. I don't pay to drink an instant mix hot choc at a place which has an elite following. The other drinks lacked intent too! And I'm a huge fan of the ambience.
Cozy and quaint little cafe that offers you affordable and delectable treats - what's not to love? I've been to the cafe several times, and have ordered in several times. Each experience was excellent. Fancy desserts get even better here because they're not expensive. Their cakes are wonderful, I've ordered at least 3 cakes from here, my favorite is the coffee one. I remember I was waiting for someone one time, and they showed up late and the tea that I'd ordered became cold... but to my delight, the owner replaced it with a fresh cup on the house. I found that extremely kind. :) Dough Nut
