Amazing the word to say !! Travelled 15 kilometers to reach this place from my location but I would say it's worth every mile .. Taste and service is spot on
Food and Service were awesome. All Chicken Starters were delicious. Dessert was killer. Service guy was so polite.
Ambience and service were good... will definitely come again for the taste of food.. all safety measures were followed.
Would recommend Jyothi. A personal chaffeured experience. Love it. Keep up the good work. Food is very good.
Ambience was really pleasant and peaceful. The place was not too crowded and well ventilated given the pandemic. The food service was done with all the necessary precautions . A safe place to try out. Overall the food was good especially the fish fingers.
Was nice to get back to yummy food and great dining experience with all safety precautions in place.
Excellent service by mr.joythikannan.........foood was very nice.......... service was exceptional...
Pizza was amazing and the dessert was so delicious. Overall the vibe of the place is so cozy. Worth to visit.
Fantastic atmosphere, clean and sanitized place even good for a family to visit, foods are tasty and awesome
This was our first dine-out since the lockdown that began in March 2020. And I'm happy we chose Broken Bridge. I've been fond of their decor. Their safety and security regulations now are more than reassuring, and their service today was fantastic! Our attendant Jothi and the restaurant manager ensured only 25% occupancy at any point in time. Tables were sanitized as soon as the guests left.
If you're looking to dine out at a safe restaurant, The Broken Bridge Cafe is a recommended choice.
The perfect place to visit during pandemic. It's hygiene the staffs are friendly and food was awesome. Loved the place
Such a good ambience. They Outdoor dine in was very pleasant. Due to corona pandemic we wanted to go to a open space restaurant so we chose broken bridge cafe and it was awesome.
All the tables were well sanitized. They dint make any contact with us and also the food. They put food in a trolley near us and we should serve it by ourselves which is a good thing to maintain social distancing. They even check and register the customers temperature and oxygen level to make sure we dont have any symptoms.
To say about the food we are not that much satisfied. Small portion but costlier. Margherita pizza was not upto the mark.
Sea salt fudge cake was yummy.
Me and my friends were fed up with soo much cheese from fromage that we wanted something spicy and we came here.
Ordered saffron rice and spicy braised country chicken ,. The rice was mild with delicate aroma of the saffron and it was well complimented by the pepper packed chicken gravy.
Next for dessert we ordered filter coffee pudding and Nutella pudding with malkova crumble. Both were very well presented and the portion size was just right for a single person. The Nutella custard requires special mention as the combination of the smooth velvetty texture of the custard and the grainy crumble is an experience not to miss.
Good ambience. Music wasn't that great.
Overall ,A must try place for their perfectly delectable food.
Food was amazingly good.! Kakinada chicken was the best .
Amazing service and excellent response!!!beautiful ambience!!
Amazing food. Very good service. One by the name of Ravi was the one who took our order and he made us feel very comfortable. The makhani biryani is a must try.
Restaurant service by Mani was exceptional. Was a very pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend
Those who dint visit the Broken Bridge Cafe do visit it guys. The hotel ambience was nice & calm..Their food quality was nice & very tasty..There are different varieties of platters & mocktails which I tasted where Awesome.. Do try there Lamb parmesan cheese kebab, burnt garlic cheese Chicken tikka, cilantro pesto panner, podi Idli, chickentikka makhani pizza & if ur a beef lover try there beef kali Mirchi. Special mention do try there spicy mutton soup which is outstanding. At last do taste their filter coffee caramel pudding which is delicious.
The food is amazing we loved it n I will definitely come again, their thayir sadam fritters are to die for. Also their kakinada chicken n cutlets. Yum yum yum. We wanted to eat the dessert outside coz my son wanted to play in the play area n they agreed to serve us out. Jyothi kannan was very kind 😊

Yummy food with amazing ambience!! Must try!!
Decided to visit this restaurant for dinner yesterday.
For starters ordered Thayeer sadam fritters with pickled mayo,Peri peri chicken tikka,Galouti kabab on saffron roti,Parmesan mutton seekh kabab,Raw Mango n cashewnut shrimp, Burnt garlic and cheese chicken tikka.
All the starters were good but my favorites were the Burnt garlic and cheese chicken tikka, Galouti kabab and Raw Mango n Cashewnut Shrimp. Coming to the Chicken Tikka it was very unique since the usual chicken tikka tends to be a bit on the spicier side but over here with the addition of cheese and burnt garlic brought a different taste and there was a hit of lots of flavours in it. The Galouti kabab was good but what was unique here was that it was soo soft that it literally melted in my mouth along with the Saffron roti served, in bite sized portions was good.
Another dish that caught my attention was the Thayeer Sadham Fritters. Basically it is a fried batter which has curd rice stuffed into it along with a small piece of pickle. It came with a sauce which is basically a pickle and this is a must try dish since you don't get this anywhere else.
For the main course ordered the Saffron rice,Stuffed chicken curry,Chicken Makhni Briyani. The stuffed chicken curry had minced chicken stuffed into a piece of chicken and served with gravy. This was something different from the usual gravies we get since there were two types of chicken served in one gravy.
For the desserts ordered Sea salt fudge chocolate cake,Filter coffee caramel pudding. The Sea salt fudge chocolate cake was basically a chocolate cake sprinkled with sea salt on top which gave it a good contrast in flavours and was again a unique dish which I enjoyed a lot.
Overall a good restaurant to try out unique dishes in Chennai.
Excellent service and food , enjoyed the new menu !
Great service by Jothi. Good taste.
Excellent food ... good staff ... excellent ambience
Broken Bridge Cafe drawing inspiration for its name from the iconic bridge nearby has a cool and trendy ambiance
I have been here before and enjoyed the food and didn't need much convincing to go back to try their new menu.
This one has a lot of innovatively presented dishes and though it's a rather concise one ,is filled with numerous choices for accompaniments for drinks.
The drinks we chose were the Cosmo, Watermelon n Basil Mojito,Orange ,Mint n Chilly Mojito and for the kid in the group- Oreo Milkshake which had to be one of the best milkshakes I've tasted yet.
The hors d'oeuvres we tried were the quirky and brilliantly conceptualized Thayir Sadam fritters served with pickle mayo.
The crumb fried balls of goodness gave one the feel of eating the comfort food with a difference.
Parmesan Mutton Sheekh,Galouti on Saffron Rolls,Peri Peri Tikka, Lemongrass n Chilly chicken kabab and finally the Raw Mango and cashewnut Prawns were all really good.
Chicken Makhni Briyani ,Saffron rice which we paired with Stuffed Chicken curry were pur choice of mains.
Loved the rich ,creamy gravy in which the pieces of chicken were stuffed with minced meat and it paired beautifully with the delicate flavoured aromatic rice
Rich chocolate cake garnished with sea salt was a stunner of a dessert, looked good and tasted even better ,the saltiness enhancing the rich chocolate flavour.
Filter coffee Caramel pudding was essentially the caramel custard infused with the essence of coffee .
It was a delicious meal, coupled with smooth and friendly service
This is located in the ground floor of Somerset Hotel and parking is a breeze. Decor is modern and functional and they have come up with a new menu consisting of a lot of fusion dishes.
Started the evening with a Cosmopolitan - a Vodka based drink and my companions had Watermelon and Basil Mojito and Orange and Chilly Mojito. The drinks were fabulous, especially when paired with the starters that we chose.
The menu is dominated with starters and small plates, so we did choose a few to try out- Parmesan Seekh Kabab, Mutton Galouti on saffron Roti, Peri peri Chicken Tikka, Raw mango and Cashewnut Shrimp, Lemongrass and Chilly Chicken Kabab and the piece de resistance Thairsadam Fritters which was served with pickled mayo. The periperi tikka was one of my favourites, the succulent pieces of chicken were marinated in a well amalgamated blend of spices so that the heat was not overwhelming but left a pleasant tingling after taste. The Prawns were delicious and juicy. The Thairsadam fritters- yes you heard me right, it is an innovative dish and the chef deserves all my accolades for coming up with such a dish. I just wished if sides of boiled egg were served with this dish but that is my favourite combo.
From the mains we ordered saffron rice to be paired with stuffed country Chicken and the Murgh Makhni Biriyani. The taste of the saffron rice was very subtle, hence combined well with the rich gravy and the Biriyani was excellent.
Desserts were Filter Coffee Caramel Pudding and Sea salt Chocolate Fudge Cake. The cake was rich and the salt srystals gave a good contrast.
Service by Mr. Kumar was excellent, he was very knowledgeable and guided us through the menu. An excellent meal enjoyed in good ambiance.
Went here to try their new menu and was really impressed with every dish. If a cafe can serve some amazing quality food, it has to be Broken Bridge Cafe. From starters to the main course to desserts, they were simply delicious. Also, the ambience is very classy and neat. The service is quick and the staff is super friendly. Pricing is VFM. Totally worth the quality and quantity.
Mutton soup. This was so simple yet so tasty. Shows how well it was made.-
Galouti on saffron roti - The kebab that melts in your mouth. This along with the roti, chutney and spiced onions were a match made in heaven!
Peri-peri chicken tikka - Perfectly cooked chicken pieces marinated in flavorful masala. Another must-have.
Lamb parmesan seekh kebab - Taste was good but was a little hard as it became cold.
Raw mango cashew nut shrimp - Prawns dipped in raw mango chutney was a huge hit. they also gave 6 varieties of chutneys and sauces that you can have along.
Grilled beef cutlet pav and chicken tikka pav - The meat and bun used were very soft and tasted excellent. They had used a kind of masala to coat the buns which were absolutely spicy and yum.
Jhinga tikka masala - This prawn masala was so so good. Tasted excellent. Must try!
Egg naan - Three pieces of naan coated with egg and butter. Was soft to eat.
Sea salt fudge cake - this was a clear winner. The sweetness was balanced by the sea salt and the taste was addictive.
Nutella custard and Maltova crumble - Another addiction for sure. The Nutella and crumble together made us lick the jar clean.
Cosmopolitan and Martini - The vodka and gin drinks respectively were very well made. The drinks can go along with your food.
What a gem this place is! ♥️
Went here for lunch today and had a gastronomic experience! Every dish we had tasted out of the world! (No exaggeration 💯)

We really loved the ambience, the food was wonderful and the service was excellent!
Very good service and good ambience.
Taste of the food is great, with good option to choose
The new menu is good. Butter chicken pizza was better than the normal thin crust pizzaa. Keep more coming.
Food and service was good
We were served by Jyothi Kannan. He was very courteous and really assisted us well. Great service
Very good staff and great food!
I was staying at the Sommerset and hence got a chance to eat at the broken bridge. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. The chicken wings and steak were the best!! The restaurant staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!!
Thanks for your great services
We went for a corporate lunch. All the items were well prepared. The buffet was unlimited. The staff were awesome. Special thanks to Kolangi the restaurant manager for making this a wonderful visit. Highly recommended.
Broken Bridge Cafe is my daily haven for breakfast, and it consistently exceeds expectations with its warm atmosphere. Mr. Uday, with his exceptional attention and cheerful demeanor, deserves special mention-I'm truly grateful for his outstanding service. And, oh, Antony, Indigo, and the entire team always greet you with smiles and create a welcoming environment:) Also Pavan's coffee is a taste of Italy right here-absolutely delightful! My mornings are brighter with each visit to this positively charming spot!
Perched in the Somerset hood next to Radio Room, Broken Bridge is a 24-hour bistro that serves some delectable fusion food that basically leave you craving for more. The portion sizes are perfect, the dishes are flavorful and the staff is super attentive. Special mention to Mani, the restaurant manager, who makes you feel at home. Must try their vegetarian starters (the beetroot galauti is my favorite) and the paneer makhani naan pizza! They have some interesting mocktails, their signature lychee with coconut syrup stole my heart. Best to reserve if planning to go over the weekend.
I recently dined at the Broken Bridge Cafe Indian Restaurant and was impressed with the excellent food quality. The flavors were rich and authentic, reflecting a true taste of Indian cuisine. The ambiance added to the overall experience, creating a pleasant and enjoyable atmosphere. Highly recommend for those seeking a delightful dining experience.
Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant I had heard about earlier in the radio room. Intrigued, I decided to give it a try. During my visit, I savored three delightful dishes: the burnt garlic cheese chicken, the thirimasu cake, and the Nan pizza chicken. All three items were truly enjoyable, with their flavors leaving a lasting impression. However, the real standout was the Nan pizza chicken; it was simply out of this world and a definite must-try.
Beyond the delectable dishes, the restaurant's ambience was perfect, creating a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. I believe this place would be an excellent choice for a family outing, making it an ideal destination for all ages to enjoy a delightful meal together.
Pretty good place with insta-worthy ambience. The service is pretty good too with the waiters giving enough space and time to let you order. They suggested the best from the menu and the taste was wholesome.
Special mention to the thayir saadham fritters! Mind-blowing taste and one plate wasn't enough to satisfy the cravings. The mashed mutton on Puree was also too good.
The price was decent, about 400 - 500 per starter. The premium for the taste I guess, but I would definitely say it was worth it!!
Great food. Service was a bit slow but the taste and quality more than made up for it. The spicy pepper soup was perfect for a starter and the variety of tasty dishes from paneer to sheik kebabs was awesome.
There was a bit of a delay but of you order the mains immediately after the starters you won't be disappointed. The mains quality and quantity surprised us and every dish was really value for money.
We were disappointed with the beer or tap and the liqueur available. Not that up to standards. If you only want to go for food though the restaurant is an awesome choice. A good meal with a group of friends without booze will set you back 2k which is real value for money.
The staff is courteous and very helpful. Good options for veg and non veg.
I have been to Somerset greenways several times and I can’t deny Fromage is my most favorite restaurant in chennai. Yesterday I tried broken bridge cafe for the first time and I took my friend for a dinner out here. It was a lovely ambiance. Definitely a date night spot. Well served. Food was delicious. We ordered the following items.
Creamy chicken soup
Grilled fish
Jacob creek red wine
Tiramisu
I recommend you to try this place for once.
Loved the service provided by Ratan. He was serving us with food continuously without any hesitant and was polite as well. Love the breakfast buffet here , surprisingly had fish here, alongside pasta, pepper chicken , fruits, pastries like melon pastries and etc. really worth it for the price as well, and had a great experience.
Ambience , place and food was excellent..! The waiter who served us, Inigo was very knowledgeable and considerate ! Would definitely recommend this place for casual evening outings!
Broken Bridge had great food and service. The staff was helpful in sharing the cuisine choices. They have star sports in the the background on TV and Music while you dine. We had buffet, Ajay is exceptional remembering what we drink and had this ready for us. I would recommend if you find yourself in South 🇮🇳 India.
Slow service to start with. Definitely can improve service speed.
But top points for the food. Unique menu with some great variety to chose from. Nice place to catch up with friends, preferably a small group so service doesn't take too long.
Nice location too.
Will definitely visit again to try out the rest of their menu.
Very good quality food and the waiter who served us, Ravi, was both considerate, quick and very knowledgable about the menu options.
Ambience, service and food was very good.
Iyyanar was so considerate as it was our aniversary and surprised us with a cake.
Food was recommended by Chef Jeyachandran which would suit my pregnant wife. They were so friendly and made the day special. Place was peaceful and not for quick grab but for relaxed dining with loved ones.
Broken Bridge Cafe and Indian Restaurant is a perfect place for dates or even elaborate lunch/dinner experiences with family and friends. Perfectly adhering to Covid-19 protocols, every table is aptly distanced and the staff is religiously masked at all given times.
It’s a beautifully located cafe/restaurant, nestled in a posh property and locality. The staff is courteous and is quite willing to go that extra mile to serve you better. One such example would be when one of them offered us a “Creamy Chicken Soup” that was not part of the menu. It was delicious to say the least.
With a mix of Indian and other cuisines Broken Bridge Cafe and Indian Restaurant offers you a variety thus giving you a feel of a almost multi-cuisine experience there.
The service is prompt and food arrives at your table hot! What more can you ask for.
We ordered some “Lemon Grass and Cheese Chicken Kebab”, “Lamb Galouti with Saffron Roti” and “Curry leaf Fish Fingers” as appetizers. For me the chicken kebab and fish finger stood out. The lamb galouti could have been better-the texture didn’t define the name.
For the mains we ordered (by now we were full as the appetizers had a good portion size) a white sauce pasta and a “Grilled Chicken Sandwich” both of which were really scrumptious and hearty enough for a great meal.
Though we were stuffed but as they say, there’s always place for desserts, we ordered the “Filter Coffee Caramel Custard” and it was delicious.
Overall a great Christmas dinner it was.
Great food. Service was a bit slow but the taste and quality more than made up for it. The spicy pepper soup was perfect for a starter and the variety of tasty dishes from paneer to sheik kebabs was awesome.
This restaurant is so good it’s almost uncanny.
The homemade shrimp curry and the sea bass are simply the most succulent dishes we could have imagined.
Proof is in the pudding, Ashwin was so attentive and knowing as our waiter, while Chef Satish is so amazing he deserves his name on the marquee, that we had to personally ask their names.
Come in and then come in over and over again. 24 Hours no less!!!!!
Delicious!
The best place to enjoy food with friends and family. The food quality was really awesome the cook after the order is placed.
Must try chicken Makni briyani and all the starters are great here 👍 a huge thumbs up to this restaurant.
The staffs was really friendly and especially prabu one of the staff in this Restaurant was really friendly in explaining about the food and he arranged cake for my sisters birthday we didn’t inform them before but still the cake was fresh and nice.
If any of you guys go to this restaurant in any occasion book a seat and inform them you need a cake 🥳.
We really enjoyed this place 👍👍
Visited this place for Saturday lunch, ambiance was good only the parking was little confusing(no valet parking) .I love soups so every place i try them, here the spicy mutton soup was homestyle and perfect in taste , going on to starters mango cashew prawns was really unique in taste and was so good and made me order it twice, another starter was saffron mutton which was also so good and it just melts into your throat, then cheesy chicken was okay followed by maincourse for which we had ordered pasta and chicken pizza , pasta was normal one but the pizza was best in taste and texture, definitely a must try. Then we had ordered blue colada and chocolate mousse cake both were good, that mousse cake had exactly kinder joy taste😂. So give a try!!
