We went for a family lunch. The spread was decent. Nothing to complain 😊

Loved the food and ambience, staff are super friendly and kind..loved my stay here and enjoyed their dinner buffet and morning buffet...They had a lot of variety and the taste was also good..highly recommend this place when in Chennai 😋🙂
Awesum experience..good place for foodie and wide range of breakfast spread and staffs are friendly
Had a breakfast buffet from a coupon from nearby. Amazing and mouth watering food, lived the starters - kachori, dahi somosa and South Indian pongal poori was too notch. If you go there ask for a hot pancake freshly made than the ones in the buffet, trust me the best pancakes . This pancake can easily beat the words best IHOP from US. We loved it with the whipped cream and chocolate chips. Such good food I have never had from any of the star buffets. Accord is the best for food .
Checked in with the team for dinner. Nice place but mostly family crowd. Buffet area is in the middle and sitting area covers all the side. Chicken wings and fish are a must try in starters. Meen(fish) curry was exceptional reminds you the taste of southern districts in Tamil Nadu. Pineapple chutney is a must try. Staff were attentive all you have to do is ask. Surprisingly, different varieties of cakes in dessert station.
No dessert spoons at the dessert station and all plates are kept below.
Overall Experience - Good
We went here for buffet breakfast, the spread is just amazing for the price charged. There’s every possible dish from the indian as well as english breakfast. Taste was really good, especially sausages were so good, dosas were so perfectly done. Donuts were a tad bit rough. The live counters include, eggs to order, fresh juice, dosa etc. We ordered masala omelette which was average since it was less in salt and pepper. The other dishes were cereals with skimmed and normal milk, hot chocolate, egg masala, grilled chicken, chicken masala, pongal, poha, poori, dahi vada, noodles, pesarattu, paneer paratha, varieties of cheese, salads etc. Coming to thé desserts it included different varieties of donuts, muffins, waffles etc. The service and hospitality was really good. Ambience could’ve been better considering it’s a 4/5star hotel. It’s a bit small. Overall experience was great. 👍🏻

This beautifully designed restaurant is at the ground floor of accord. They provide buffet option and they have a huge spread of items on the menu. There is a live kitchen at the centre of the restaurant and everything they serve is always hot and yummy. Excellent service!
During my stay at Accord, We experienced a whole new level of South Indian breakfast. Arguably the best breakfast buffet at Chennai !!
They have wide variety of south india with English breakfast well. Ambience is marvellous. Trust me after having breakfast at The Brick Oven, Anyother restaurant at Chennai is NO match for them. Not to forget the ambience, Feedback they take from you and offer best in class service.
I've always loved breakfast buffets, probably a huge incentive to getting myself off bed in the morning.
The breakfast buffet here was one such example!
The spread was huge, fresh and tasted good. Unlike most other 5 star restaurants I've been to, the Continental spread also seemed freshly made. And they had waffles and a few options for toppings 🤩
Again, the Indian options also were cooked to perfection. I ended up feeling stuffed but this one was definitely worth the buck.
The only thing it missed was fresh cream. Please do make it a part of the menu. Helps for topping with muffins and waffles.
Went for Breakfast buffet, loved the South Indian dishes, tried to taste everything but unfortunately couldn't, the pongal was remarkably good. The western and English style had sausages, croissants, baked beans, eggs to order, baked fish, etc unfortunately couldn't find any dishes with beef or pork, they had a few Japanese dishes like Konjee and so, but didn't try those.
The Brick Oven, Accord Metropolitan’s all day diner has an interactive live kitchen. Chef Arjun & Chef Dinesh interacted with us and explained the details of cooking & presentation. The burgers were attractively and creatively curated, attention to detail being evident. After a sumptuous meal, we were also treated to a tour of the property. Kudos !
Service is very good..starters are so good.. ambience is good...the best place for friends meet ups..when you get your friends there u have a great time..
The buffet spread was wide and presented well. The taste and quality of the food was good. Service was excellent. Over all, a really good experience.
I landed during lunch time at a client’s who had also stepped out for lunch. It was too late for me to head back to office and again come back in time, so I headed to the brick oven
I ordered the prawn bisque! One of the best soups i would order again for sure
I didn’t quite enjoy the Greek salad, I guess I shoukd have ordered the usual salad which I have!
All in all I really enjoyed lunch!!
The starter and Laal Maans were delicious. Ram Kalidas, the person who served the food, was very polite! :) All other staff were also brilliant!
Had lunch buffet with my family of 3kids and 7 adults.
Food
The food was really good. The spread was also sufficient. It had South Indian, North Indian, Thai and Continental courses with live Pizza and Pasta counter.
The veg starters were average. The Veg momo was undercooked. In the Non veg starters Chicken hara Kebab was very tasty. The fish fry was very good. The momos were a let down. The Country chicken curry was also average with lot of avoidable masala.
The Soups were very good.
Pizza was very tasty.
The salads had a good spread and was tasty.
In the main course, the lemon rice, Jeera pulao and Egg fried rice were good. The Indian bread counter was good. Methi malai, Thai curry and noodles, Egg masala were really good.
Didn't try much of continental and the Andhra chapa pulusu though.
The curd rice was excellent.
Deserts were also very good. The Umm Ali was the best.
Ambience
The eating place is very cozy but crowded. We went at 2pm and had to finish by 3pm. Thought should have gone atleast an hour earlier. Bit of background music could have added some effect.
Service
Surprisingly not a very good service.
The reception was good. But the service at the table for soups and starters were a bit of let down. Had to ask 2-3 times to get it served. The menu of starters were not told to us and few starters came. Then we found later that some more were there. Kids friendly menu was not there and preferences for them were not taken.
The Live chat counter had no personnel. Had to serve that ourselves. The plates were not also taken immediately.
Though a board was kept in the entrance that service charges are not mandatory it was added in the bill without asking. We paid though
Overall the food was good but for the brand the service should be better.
Whether will I visit again? Probably Yes but not as a first choice
Brick oven -Accord metropolitan
Being the first time to Accord which is well known for its standards and country's renowned chefs it was really exciting which turned out to be an awful one since the food and service was not as expected.Ambience was really gud with ovens made out of bricks as it went through the name of the place "Brick oven". Starters were served fresh and hot since they were made according to our demand which was really a good aspect instead of having it preprocessed, but the variety of starters were less in number which didn't fell under our expectations.Really loved the live woodfire pizza and pasta counter. We had lots of choices in desserts which were really attractive but turned to be the other way around coz only few of them were worth trying. It might not a be the place for a bunch of hungry diners but would be a nice experience if you are not interested in varieties.

Well where to begin, Accord has it own standards and their are working had to maintain them, food has always been a craving part which attracts us to experience the rich taste from top chefs. I guess they have kept up to their standard and the dishes where to the point and they are freshly made and no pre-processed food which is a very good reason to dine in. The starters can be restructured since many enjoys starters when compared to their main courses and few more items would add punch to the whole experience. The desserts are very attractive by their looks compared to the taste which is a little let down. It is very difficult to satisfy a large group of hungry diners and they are trying their best to deliver their output in a most polite way which shows how well they have learned that customer satisfaction is the ultimate key to embrace their standards. Good place to dine in with friend and family.
Recently been for late night dinner, it was awesome experience , Praveen was very much attentive and hospitable. Love the Fresh garden pizaa and Lamb biryani. Kudos to Chef and Praveen. Keep it up.
The quality and service was immense. The degree of customer service and food quality was top notch. Slightly on the higher end for price but definitely a decent place to visit.
Bought some nearbuy coupons and visited The Brick Oven for buffet. Loved the live counter woodfire pasta and pizzas. They have a real brick oven where they make the naans and you literally see the fluffy rotis rising in the oven. Loved the mango Pannacotta, kiwi pavlova and cheesecakes in the dessert section. Real value for money.
Came for a buffet here ..... Very good ambiance and the open kitchen concept. There was nattu-kolzhi soup which was great and pumpkin soup was also good.Starters were served at table... there were 5 starters and all were good. The main course were briyani , naan, some streamed fish and there was sushi as well. For desert there were 3 verities of ice cream but there were lots of verities of cakes and sweets and fruits. There was this traditional item palada pradhamam which tastes great.overall this place is realy good
Nice place with an awesome décor, and delicious food. We went for the buffet and ended up having one of the most filling multi course meals in Chennai.

Kid friendly place. Relaxed ambience. The staff is very helpful and have managed to create an enjoyable atmosphere that goes well with great food they serve. Overall great hospitality.
We had two buffet lunches and a buffet breakfast, and had good experience each time. My favourite of the lot was Mutton curry, the super soft and moist idlies in breakfast, Babycorn salad, chicken satay and red sauce pasta.
Best food I ever had, but the Customer Service Hospitality is bit Bad due to Few Waiters were cracking jokes to the chef. Their ambience and Food is Very Awesome.
had a buffet lunch tdy spread was excellent and decors as well given feel good factor warm welcome by staffs issue is the parking space north indian cuisine was fantastic..
Good buffet, delicious food with a wide range of choices. Starters were plentiful and delivered to you by the excellent and attentive staff. My partner particularly liked the wide choice of sweets. We came away very full and happy.
Me and my family stayed in hotel accord metropolitan for 3days and 2 nights. We were served complimentary breakfast for 2 mornings.
It has a large spread for its breakfast buffet. The food tastes delicious. Cakes and breads were soft and delicious. Only important thing which lacks in this restaurant and the hotel is the service. Service is slow and response to any query is very sluggish.
Otherwise it's good but certainly not the best. There are better options available in the city
Ate several times here during our stay in Chennai. And the experience really stood out. Whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner, buffet or a la carte, it was consistently so good! Obviously, this place is one of the most underrated places in the city. In fact I'd rate it higher than a lot of coffee shops and all day fine diners at places across the country.
The fried fish is outstanding. The spaghetti in carbonara sauce was better than many I've had across the world. There was a off menu version of fried idlis served up especially by Chef Arjun Bhat that was unique and better than I've had at any fine dining South Indian restaurant. And a Chennai style Meen Kozhambu that was fabulous. I've has fish curries up abd down both coasts, but this one was simply put, the best.
Make a bee line here, Chennai!
Had lunch buffet here on 28th Oct, 2016. Used Groupon coupon for the same. The starters were good. Main course was good. The deserts was colorful but disappointing. The service to start off was good. When we started we had a person who took care of the table. In 90 minutes we had 3 people to take care of us. The last person did not know I was on the Groupon deal and asked me if he can get the bill.
Overall, I liked the food and experience. I did get the feel they wanted us out of the place the second we finished our desert. I had people come and ask us , if we r waiting for anyone. !!! Would be an excellent spread if the desserts complimented the main course.
Excellent service; the food is good since the recipes are prepared by chef Venkat Bhatt. Manager Adithya provided a first class service by attending to our needs for example he managed to get a lamb soup for my dad which was not even part of the menu..Other staff like Mages, Sunanda, Boopathy and Praveen have provided good service as well...thank you so much!!!
Dined here with my family and few friends. really the food and service was great. the buffet has a very good spread comparing to other hotels and the rate that they offer for brunch is pretty nominal which also includes unlimited of brought beer and soft drinks. The waiters were friendly and attentive they served soup and starters and chat items from the buffet on the table. Honestly speaking me and my family and other friends had a wonderful time.
the food was great all the staff was friendly... ambiance was awesome loved the music played by the pianist.. will visit again had a great time..
The space is small and it's seemed crowded being a Sunday but the staff are seamlessly efficient in making the experience worthwhile. Quick to replace the plates and rendering to our requests.. From assorted platter of appetizers and a choice of juices, breads, pizzas, made to order chaat and pastas, North Indian, and a full South Indian meal, over 15 desserts. It was a wide spread. Taste wise it was above average. The highlight included live music by a pianist Wesley who gladly played our song requests.
I was staying at the Accord Metropolitan Hotel, in T-Nagar, so happened to have the breakfast in this restaurant located on the ground floor of the hotel. The variety and spread was not very impressive. There was no live cooking for the Dosas and Omelettes, you have to request them for it. I asked for a crisp plain dosa, the waiter came with a cold soggy dosa, it looked like they had pre-cooked the dosa and kept it in the kitchen. So on my objection, the restaurant supervisor personally went to the kitchen and got a hot crispy dosa made. I am sure that a hotel of their stature can do better.
Went for Sunday lunch buffet. Was a value for money considering we were moderate eaters. The starters had 4 veg and 4 non veg items including mutton chapli kebab, nethili fish fry and 2 chicken dishes. Mains consisted of Paya and idiyappam (very odd for lunch) but tasted good. Beef, chicken and fish mains with noodles Indian breads, pulao. It had veg biriyani, mutton biriyani and chicken biriyani. Deserts included 10 varieties of Indian as well continental sweet and puddings with 4 ice creams. Biriyanis were very average in taste. Good service.
Food is super... kolkata mutton briyani is not tat much good. Other than that all items are amazing...
Overall ambience and taste of the food is nice. The price is little high for buffet dinner but can be considered if these improvements are taken care of 1) Could see mosquitos here and there 2) No Live station to order south/north special dishes 3) Coverage of continental items is very less
Went with family for dinner.
Soup- chicken tom yum soup and veg peas soup
Starters
Non- veg chicken kebab, batter fried sausage and nethili fry
Veg cauliflower batter fry, masala Vada, paneer tikka
Main course
I had mutton biryani and some noodles and cauliflower Manchurian, kung pao chicken, pulav and paneer lababdar , kozhi varutha Kari and butter naan
All the dishes I had tasted 👍
Desserts and juices
There was watermelon , strawberry milk and lemon juice everything tasted good
And for desserts there was hot malpua , blueberry panna cotta, vatalapam, orange mousse, different varieties of cakes, baked yogurt and four flavours of ice cream ( mango, strawberry, pista and butterscotch) with toppings.
Soups, starter and breads were served at table
Tea , coffee and green tea was also available
Had filter coffee which was 👍
Overall had a satisfactory experience would rate 3.5/5
The service was very slow, could have been a little prompt

The location, ambience and food was all good. We enjoyed the ambience and delicious food. Dessert varieties are lot to try. It will be good if they provide starters on time without delay. Overall satisfied.
Good place to have food with your family!!! Rich and tasty food at almost affordable price
Most of the item are good in tast my favourite are the following
Cold cofee
Chicken salad
Pudding
Chicken slice
Mutton gravey
Noodles
Awesome buffet. All the items were good. Nice ambience and good customer service. Non Veg dishes were not as I expected. Expecting a better quality on my next visit.
Good ambiance and service
Food veg is good and non veg we can give 3 /5
How can i not do the dakshin route, specially when i have been in search for some good non vegetarian food in Tamilnadu!
The story starts with the Dakshin Routes the food festival at Spice Jar!
Must say i am not a buffet person at all! But this one is totally curated keeping in mind their regular guest as well as the festival. Me like always, opted for only the festival specials.
Must say the best that i had in recent days! Chef Vellaisamy Ganesh and team have done a fantastic job. The spices and flavours are something very unique and full of flavour!
Special mention to the massi gose bonda (dry Tuna ) balls, it was unique.
The valliyur zamin erachi curry ( mutton curry) had some subtle yet amazing flavour.
The fish curry and biryani totally bowled us!
The savouries and sweets were authentic and totally yummy! Please note the dessert counter has other items too!
Since the appam festival is on too. We got to try this awesome appam combo. Mallipoo appam (Jasmine flavoured appam) was soft and ful of flavour this was served with kheema and sweet coconut milk! One of the best and least expensive!
The festival is on till 17th November for lunch and dinner!
We had a great time and food 😁.All the dishes are too good and the ambience is very pleasant.we got good service from Princy and she guided us in a friendly manner
I would like to sincerely thank Nisha from the restaurant (Pavilion) she went beyond and above in making a positive change on turning a lunch to special moments to my family.
My family was there for the lunch buffet today celebrating a special occasion. The food is really amazing and had a quality buffet setup with good choices. I will recommend this restaurant for everyone. I had called Nisha and requested if she can organize a surprise cake to celebrate the moment while dining. Without any hesitant she said that she will try her best to accommodate after speaking to chef. She promptly responded back to my request and said Yes I Can (positive attitude)
@The Residency - She is an asset for your org. My spl thanks to chef who made the cake in no time :)
Good ambience. But they have very limited variety. They could try some special dishes which is not prepared at home. Overall its good.
