I loved the ambiance and i recommend this place if you wanna go for a date with your girl/boy. Such a quite and peace place. The lights over there just give u a experience of "Candle night dinner". I loved monster shakes. I highly recommend this Place. :)
It's a chic place, love some of their starters like cackling potatoes, chilli corn. Their veg pizzas were good too. Lovely ambience to hang out with friends. It's a tad expensive

Well, this is such an fantastic place to visit. The ambience is simply amazing, calm and quiet. Their arrangements are really so good and captivating. The interiors as well as outdoor dining areas are really pleasant and cozy.
The food is good but the best part are the ice creams. The ice creams are really delicious and they have natural flavours with no harmful substances. I almost tried 7 varieties of them and each flavour gave me a unique experience. The monster Shake is must try here. My favourite will be the dragon Paneer and the Schezwan chicken pizza.
Though I had an amazing experience, I was really surprised to see the kids having a fun time here. Since the place is quite spacy and calm surrounded with trees and plants it makes kids to roam and run around having a happy time.
Overall, one of the best places in the city with such a cool and calm ambience to spend some quality time with friends and family, of course with good food as well.

We visited this place pretty early in the morning on a weekend thus the ambience wasn’t set but it’s a very cozy bright place to hangout.
Both the dishes we ordered was delicious
1. Cheese omelette with toast was perfectly cooked
2. The egg salad was a hit as it was saucy and all the ingredients were in right proportion.
The price is average and affordable compared to it other bistro.
Would I visit again? Yes

Love the food here; so consistent in quality. That's really hard to find in any eatery except maybe Sangeeta's. Also, love that they have board games, and a cute little momo kiosk on the outside. The momos taste great, but recently the portions have reduced lots. Been coming here since I was a kid in school.

Best place to take your date or evening dinner with your friends.. I have visited this place twice and I wouldd like to mention specifically about my visit on Valentine's week.. They had three course menu for the Valentine's week and I ordered monster shake as an extra (I always wanted to try it!!).. It's the best pampering meal I had and the monster shake was out of the world..

Went here solely for the Monster shake after having our dinner. The ambience is really wow! Especially at night with all the fairy lights, its a really cute and romantic ambience. They have both indoor and outdoor seating of which we chose the outdoors.
We ordered the Posh Nosh Caramel and Fudge. Definitely can be devoured by two to three people. DONOT ORDER THIS IF YOU ARE ALONE. Definitely cant be finished by one person.
The shake was filled with brownies, biscuits, marshmallows, pretzels, chocolates, wafers, icecream, wipped cream and caramel sauce! What more can you ask for!

To start with this place has an awesome ambience. The momos were so soft and never before I had such amazing momos. They have 3 typed of spicy orange, green and red. Orange less spicy and red maximum spicy. We ordered fried rice with curry. The rice served will also be plain a cury can be chosen. The chicken curry was loathed in coconut oil but i had an very nice aroma, texture and taste to it. The place is famous for milkshakes or monster shakes. Yup u can call this shake a monster for sure. Nice ambiance, spacious feel when you sit outside. Went there for lunch with colleagues. Their Thai curry and rice was tasty. I had the green Thai whereas my colleagues had sandwiches and red curry. Tables and chairs are not very comfy. They have a small souvenir shop and seating inside. All in all, a nice casual and calm place to visit.

The place is located in a calm street of alwarpet where they promote eco-friendly products. A small talk on house gardening was going on when we reached the place. The ambience is very calm. Waiters were very polite. Ordered for chicken fillet sandwiches, mixed veg momo, and cheese fries toast. One of the best places for momos in town and was served with three different dips. The sandwich and toast were also served with dips and potato wedges. The wedges were fried properly with a thin coating of flour. The portion was worth the money and filling. A main attraction was the newspaper bags used for packing the left over food. Overall amazing food and experience.
A small disappointment was the parking as it doesn't have proper parking for 4 wheelers. Except for that, everything else was really good and proper hangout place with books/games like chess, Jenga, etc for entertainment

This is my go-to momo place in Chennai. Apart from that, I've tried their white sauce bacon pasta, BBQ Chicken pizza and banana pancakes. Very filling and tasty as well. The chocolate pastry (don't remember the name) was so good that my friend got 'chocolate high'. They have both outdoor and indoor seating. Pleasant ambience.
I love this place. Something so laid-back and quiet about it. The decor, the natural light and green surroundings makes it a perfect location to catch up with a friend for coffee or sit by yourself to think and work on something creative. Free WiFi is a big plus of course. Love their Thai curry and rice and the momos from their kiosk outside are great too.
Love the regular food pop ups they do and we get to experience some interesting international cuisines in the heart of the city. I am definitely a regular there and will keep going back.
We went to Ashvita to sample their pop up dining experience- new concept to me. Chef Esha has curated a 3 course Tibetian set menu - home cooking being her forte. Tibetian bring an exotic cuisine, the preparations were delicious and Esha explains every dish in detail. The bistro has a contemporary hangout look with friendly staff assisting with orders. A hidden gem, away from the city’s hustle!
I love this place due to many reasons. First one being the outdoor seating which really lightens your mood. Second being the lovely food and third being the fact that it's so pocket friendly.
We had 3 different pizzas & Thai curry which were all very tasty. Would definitely recommend to try out their brunch buffet.
This place was always been on my to-go-place list. We ordered chilli corn for starters. It tasted absolutely yummy and its a must try for all corn lovers. The smoky paneer was equally tasty, both the paneer and the gravy. The pizzas were overloaded with toppings, making us completely full and happy :)

The outdoor seating arrangement is good and looks simple and different. However they do have seating arrangement at various places like outdoor, indoor and outdoor under roof It was around 4 o clock in the evening. The restaurant was not so cool. Light warming which make discomfort. But pretty sure, it will be fantastic and lovely place to hang out with your loved one.
Limited parking facility especially for cars.
Entertainment
I was very surprised to see entertainment games. You can play handy board games with your partner to kill the idle time until the food is being served.
Completely different experience.
Service:
The service somewhat not okay. No one is nearby when you need the service.

One of the first names that pop in your head when you think about hanging out in Alwarpet, been around for a while, serving their legendary Monster Shake ( me personally thinks its overrated, but well, its just me ) and other signature dishes that people actually drop by for !
What I personally like about this space - they are constantly bringing something new to the city - be it through the curated store in the front or through their curated food pop ups - from different cuisines or events hosted - game nights/talks - that way you're bound to have newer experiences everytime you're here!

Having bookmarked this cafe for a long time, finally got to visit this place on busy weekday evening. No doubt this is truly a "hidden gem" in the city, as mentioned in many reviews. The bistro has both indoor and outdoor seating and we chose the outdoor one. Quaint, calm, comfortable seating surrounded by potted plants, neither stuffy nor chill with ceilinng fans, these exactly create an old-world charm.
Coming to food,sadly it was a disappointment!
Orders were: Corn & cheese momos, Veg Pasta and Lemon iced tea. We have to find where the cheese was in momos. Pasta was ok. All were just the average. We loved to try their French vanilla coffee, but to vein it was not available.
This place is perfect if you want to have your "me" time or catch up with your loved one for that "couple" time or old friends to have a great chit chat.

Among the beautifully designed cafes/visits in Chennai, Ashvita is one of the top bistro. I tried both the indoor and outdoor dining areas. Even during summer the outdoor dining area doesn't feel too stuffy or hot. Surrounded by lots of plants, this place doesn't make you think twice to opt for a table outside.
One can come here with a bunch of friends or even alone and unwind with a book and some delicious food. Yes! They have a good collection of books on display where one can spend time reading a book along with a nice hot cuppa.
The service was a bit on the slower side, nevertheless, it was a lovely visit to the place.

Wanted to visit the place from a long time. Finally got an opportunity to visit it today for brunch. We ordered Crispy Potatoes and Garlic Bread for the starters and it was tasty. There were plenty of choices for the main course, but we decided to go with a pasta and a pizza. The pasta was good but the pizza was on a drier side. The Monster Shake was too monstrous and we ordered 2 for 5 people, which we weren't able to complete. Overall, such a nice and cozy place to have a quick catch-up with friends, since most of the times the place will be less crowded and finding a place is hassle free.

TBK offers a 6 course mouthwatering meal, meant for 5-6 ppl/serving (costs 1799/head) I would suggest to drop in for a lunch with a bunch of your feasty-foodie-friends with large appetites !! 😁

THE MEAL :
The tradition is to serve food on a THAL ( a round metal plate) around which the family/friends and feast upon course by course. Its considered to be a symbol of unity, equality and sharing. A square cloth called SAFRA is placed on the carpet, and raised metal or wooden round called KUNDALI is placed on which the thal is kept.
If a dish has been placed on the thal, there must be at least one person seated before it as food must not be ignored and while the other person eats, one can't get up when done.
1. Every BHORA meal starts with a pinch of SALT , which activates the secretions of the taste buds.
2. Unlike the common norm, the meal starts with dessert instead of ending with dessert. We were served the BEETROOT HALWA, which was mava based, shredded beetroot immersed in a pool of ghee ! ( MY FAVOURITE- SAVE IT FOR THE LAST)
3. The dessert is followed by a savories: MUTTON KHEEMA SAMOSA/PATTICE: heavenly tasting minced meat samosa/pattice with pudhina chutney for dips 😍and chicken cutlets.
4. This was followed by the PINEAPPLE & BHOONDI RAITA, the perfect summer condiment made with curd, chunks of pineapple and crispy bhoondis
KOKUM AAAALO- a salad made with potatoes and a kokum based masala and DRY FRUIT & KHAJUR CHUTNEY, a date based chutney made with jaggery and dry fruits & spiced with chilli powder.
The PRE-JAMAN & JAMAN Pre main is followed next. We were served RAAN IN RED MASALA, lamb leg marinated for 18 hours in the masalas and cook for over 3 hours. Garnished with Salli wafers and coriander, topped with French flies for a twist 😋 This was the most tender mutton i had ever tasted in my entire life, you could dig into this until you get into a food coma and see the lamb's whole leg bone 😅😂 followed by the trademark dish, MUTTON DHUM BIRYANI - It was pretty much near to perfection, that you get lost into it till you realize the spices kicking in you and unleash a turmoil on your taste buds 😂 (BEWARE- ONE HELLA SPICED UP BIRYANI) :
And the management was kind enough to provide us a free GUAVA and MANGO GELATO to finish it off !! ☺️

The rating goes a lot to the ambiance and the set-up. We got to encounter the Stand-up comic show they have on Tuesday and Thursday. The whole place was neatly decorated, A Good food plus a decent Stand-up show made me feel so happy. Jackpot for the money i paid for the amazing food and the Show.
Ordered Pasta with Red sauce. Quantity wise it was very good. Taste is so good compared to lots of other Italians outlets we have in Chennai. Definitely the rate was not at the higher side.

We ordered Smoked Paneer sticks, Mixed Veg Momos and Cafe Mocha.
Taste was flawless, service was courteous, prompt and friendly. Being a coffee lover, I loved the Mocha that was served.
We found the cost little on the higher side for the quantity served. Though the place has been beautifully set, since it was an open air cafe there were a lot of mosquitoes and it ruined the evening abit, I'd say. Otherwise this place is a must visit. No complaints as far as the quality of food and service is concerned.

Tossed fries basically french fries with dipping was average. BBQ chicken salad was served with wheat bread was pretty good pick. Thai green curry with rice was best of the lot.
Finally finished off with monster shake-peanut butter. Size was gud-could have tasted better. can improve.
It's a cozy place serving variety food. Very quite atmosphere...pretty away from city traffic.
Their monster shakes are a must try. The Appearance of the monster shake is remarkable.

Have mostly gone here for their amazing crispy chilly corn . But had their monster shake once and it was freaking scary Shake . The looks itself will scare you . It was difficult to finish one full on my own . Had perks munch kit Kat twisters gems etc popping out of it along with a chunk of brownie inside the shake . Loved it to the core . Super chocolaty .

A very casual cafe with delightful food in a residential area. The area offers numerous options for dining, but Ashvita holds its own ground with its wonderful ambience, good service and very reasonably priced food. Well done!!!
One of the pleasant place to spend time with your family or friends. The Restaurant has an excellent ambiance with soothing background music. I kept hearing a lot about monster shakes fortunately it didn't disappoint me at all. To be specific, it was my favourite. Had even other dishes. Loved it a lot.

Courteous service. Service is slow which is in fact a plus point, allowing us to enjoy the ambience.
We ordered white sauce pasta, paneer pizza, Choco monster shake etc. pasta was awesome. Pizza was average and paneer wasn’t tender and cooked. Monster shake lived upto the expectation.
Suitable for leisure dining if u have all the time in the world. Appropriate pricing for what they deliver.

A great place with a cool ambiance and good food to top it all . The best part is their ambiance very calm and welcoming. Their starters and mains are very good. We had chicken lollipop, chilli cheese toast , pasta and Thai fried noodles. They were descent and we got a complimentary drink thanks to EazyDiner . They have a open space along the greenery and also an air conditioned space inside . They have space in front of the restaurant for parking.👍🏻✌️
This place will remind you of an European eatery. Beautiful lights Cascade the entrance during night, contributing to the most romantic place. They have both indoor and outdoor restaurant options. The place buzzes on a Thursday night because they host open Mics. The open Mics are entertaining and that combined with great food will make your Thursday memorable. The service is good, food is decent but I can tell that they can have more options. Pizza, burger, milkshakes are the classic options available. Interiors are noteworthy, ambience is a big plus. While on my visit, we had to wait for around 15 minutes for the food, I can tell it was yummy and worth the wait. Overall, had an amazing experience.

The taste is good !! I just loved the ambiance here. If you wanna spend a quality time with someone who value to you, this may be the exact place to chill and talk. Other than that you have a limited variety of foods which is a bit costly. I ordered dragon chicken pizza and strawberry banana shake 😋 both are yummy !!! Had a valuable time here.
Came here to taste monster milkshake. It was too heavy for two people. A group of 4 can have monster milkshake. Thai rice with curry was simply delicious. Spaghetti was good. Lot of books and indoor games were there in this restaurant. Ambience was good. Sofa/ seating area was bit dirty.
Such a neat ambience, lovely place to hangout with our loved ones. We can spend ample of time there, even without ordering food. I enjoyed their monster shake as well as the Thai food. We ordered veg Momo's but that was not upto the benchmark. But still would give 5 star rating for their ambience and Thai food. Must try if you wish to spend much time along with ur loved ones

One of the best Cafe's in Chennai. Good ambience not so crowded and has indoor and outdoor dining.Food is a tad expensive but still worth the price nevertheless all Cafe's are expensive. Must try the Pizzas, Momo's and monster shake.Great for a date or casual chat with a friend. They do also have board games which is some good entertainment. A must visit in Chennai. Sad that they have closed down Ashvita Nirvana their other branch in besant nagar.

Nice place to have a causal dinning with friends and family. Food taste really amazing. Must try the food here but most of the menus are available only for online order(Swiggy) or take away. And they have gelato factory for ice creams which is costier but worth tasting them occasionally 😉
To start with this place has an awesome ambience. The momos were so soft and never before I had such amazing momos. They have 3 types of spicy orange, green and red. Orange less spicy and red maximum spicy. We ordered fried rice with curry. The rice served will also be plain a cury can be chosen. The chicken curry was loathed in coconut oil but i had an very nice aroma, texture and taste to it. The place is famous for milkshakes or monster shakes. Yup u can call this shake a monster for sure. I'm contended😁

I love going to this place for such a lovely and calm ambience....the feel we get is so good...classy place to hang out with friends ...they have some board games also there...so that we could have fun as a grp...I liked Dragon paneer,lemon tea and monster shake ...filter coffee was also good....
