Wire Room is a Bar cum Restaurant situated inside Phoenix Marketcity Velachery. We stumbled upon this place on a Friday and we were pleasantly surprised. The service by the staff was top notch, where they knew which to recommend and which dishes to pair along. They were attentive and our time there was well spent and enjoyable. Definitely a place I would recommend. A must visit.

This is not an elaborate review, because all we did was have a few beers and drinks before proceeding to a movie. Wire Room is perhaps the only place inside Phoenix Market City that serves liquor, something which even Hard Rock Cafe couldn’t manage during those days! That’s a big plus to have a place like that.
Ambience was great. Staff were so friendly helped in choosing the menu from a variety of options. Ordered honey garlic fries, chicken tacos, pizza Indiana, chicken teriyaki and beef forgot the name. Pizza was okayish kinda blank, loved every other food we ordered. Worth trying this place for a friend's meet up. If u guys wanna go to resteraunt rather than using the bar they are separate. I would deffinately recommend this place

Located inside one of the busiest malls in Chennai!!..After much thought checked in Wire Room and the ambience was great!!!!..They also have a fine dining located on the 3rd floor, the executives there will guide if you're looking for a fine dining because the one you go will have a resto setup!!!..Staffs were courteous and the service was great!!..Ordered Beef chilly, t bone steak and Pork ribs..all 3 were great, delicious and filling.. Especially the main course, too good..no complaints on that..but if you're looking for Chettinad or south indian cuisine you can't find it in the menu..It's exclusive continental american.
The downside was the price,even though it's located inside a mall they could reduce the price a bit. A steak inclusive of taxes costs you a grand!!..and when it comes to liquor any drink be it rum, whisky,gin or vodka, a large costs around 600 bucks..So only if they could reduce the pricing, probably the crowd will double!!!.besides that it's one of the best resto's in the city..great place and if you're thinking to check in then it's a 👍 from my end 😎😎

Great ambience !!! The service is exceptional and once you walk into this place you forget that you are still in a mall . The pork ribs are delicious and alfredo pasta is rich and creamy . The only downside was the dessert .
Bar is okay. Seating arrangements are comfortable but everything is a bit high priced compared to other bars.
Plus, there seems to be nothing special for the premium you pay. Ambience is okay, DJ and music are just about okay.

Portion sizes of the food were amazing and totally worth the price, but the sliders a a bit misleading, it’s actually just a burger, but taste was still amazing.

Great ambience and very neat and tidy. The reddish aura gives a naturally tipsy feel. Drinks prices' are given on the menu after the inclusion of taxes so you get to pay exactly what you see. We had a martini on the rocks although mixing it with a bit of soda might not be such a bad idea. I suppose the taste and its appreciation depends on the palette of the taster completely.

Cozy seats , soothing lighting , absolutely crave-worthy cocktails and crazy decors. The ritzy interiors gives the whole experience a royal touch and the food is pretty good . Their magizchi , taki takes a tuk tuk , and less old fashioned were our personal favourite cocktails. Located in phoenix , it's a prime attraction for a huge crowd. It's worth the experience . ❤️

What I like about this place is the location, ambience and food.
The mocktails are interesting with local flavour and concept. The finger food were amazing Kebabs to dimsums to quinoa salad the right subtle flavour and taste. The desserts were nice too!

Went to this place with not much of expectations. But I am glad that I tried this place. Very good started especially galouti kabab. One of the best Risotto I have had. The moctail was very innovative. The desert did not have much option so we tried Strawberry cheese cake which was very good. Would recommend everyone.

One of the bars and pubs with great ambience and food. Phoenix is getting it's beauty with this. Their cocktails and food were great with amazing presentation and service. They had a very quick service. All the dishes had it's South Indian touch enhancing it's beauty and taste. Out of all the starters we had, the crystal dumplings, paneer Tikka and beetroot kebab were my favorites. They had the perfect consistency and stuffings. In the cocktails, less old fashioned was a bomb, marine mule was lit, and to the gin lovers and thalaivar fans - magizhchi is absolute happiness! The only feedback I would like to give is to add a few vegetarian main course as there were hardly two or three. Otherwise, we had a great time. Thank you for hosting us 😊

Sunday night i been there waiting for resturant staff to come take a order but no one to take care. after 10 mint .i call to manager come to take order i order bufflao wings i told make it spicy but wings come honey Sweet it's ok again i order tenderloin beef with pepper sauce thats also ok after. Half hour service is good .try to improve Service manis staff good Service .

Made my day and we all pigged out on the steak, ribs and fish. A different take on meat and 3 veg with lovely salads and grilled apples. Everything tied together very well and we had a lot of fun. The mash was nice and creamy and the apricot jelly served in those small cookers was a definite conversation piece. Great food.

Wire's rooms ambience is the best ine I've come across lately, and there's no wonder why the word spread like a wild fire among public. And also finding a bar in a shopping mall is a rare scenario in Chennai. But this place have broke such barriers in the best way possible. Incredible ambience, spacious interior, brilliant drinks and amazing food all together makes this one of the must visit bar in chennai. Courteous staffs are another add one. And not even by mistake can anyone miss out the legendary drink 'maghizhchi' named after the beloved indian actor 'rajinikanth' because the drink has a stencil art of our thalaivar. My favorite drink has to be covelong just the perfect sum up of vodka and others.
Great ambience and choice in terms of food although I found it to be a little towards the experience side. It definitely has a nice feel to it. Great and courteous service.

I passed by this restaurant while shopping in phoenix mall. After eating crabs for most of my trip, I was orderd a good steak and T-Bone which definitely delivered at time. The meat was perfectly cooked, the service was fast and the price was reasonable. I would recommend this restaurant to any steak-lover and the best part is their Ambience..just loved it.

The place looks lit, with good music on the background it definitely gives one all the reasons to get on the dance floor. The ambience is really good. Interiors with south Indian touch the place is just perfect for hang outs. The service was great ,the staffs were polite and friendly at the same time.
I was here with a few foodies for dinner. So we started with some cocktails for drinks.
Drinks we had-
Cosmopolitan - This was a drink I am fond of. A perfect mix of vodka and cranberry felt just perfect for the evening.
Kaapi - This was on the stronger side. A perfect mix of whiskey and coffee was great. A combination that would be a favorite for most of them.
Magizhchi- This is a must try cocktail. A signature cocktail of wire room which has Thalaivar's face on it. This one is a mix of gin and lemon with a dash of cinnamon.
Covelong- This was again on the stronger side. One can feel the strong alcohol in the drink.
Marina mule - Another cocktail which is on the lighter side. A combination of apple and nanari sherbet.
She proposed- The mildest cocktail in the menu which looked so colorful.
Food -
Started off the dinner with some yummy starters.
Tikka Taster - Chicken cooked four ways. All the four marination had distinct flavors. Loved the dish. The meat was cooked to perfection as well.
Galouti shots - One of the best I have had so far. This was served on a Ulta paratha. The flavour was on point. The dish was cooked to perfection. The meat literally melts in the mouth. It is spicy as well. Loved it.
Baked Mushrooms- Button Mushrooms with some yummy stuffing baked to perfection. The dip that came along was just so yum. A mayo dip with olives and jalapenos was just perfect.
Crystal Dumplings- A vegetarian dumpling with carrots, cabbage along with the soya dip was good.
Harrisa & cilantro pesto prawn- I am super happy to have tasted one of the perfectly cooked prawns after a very long time. These were just perfect. The harissa is on the spicy side and the pesto both were so yum.
Dahi kebab - Kebab made of yougurt has a slight sweet flavor to it but along with the dip this is just perfect.
Beef chili - This had good flavour but the meat was slightly hard.
Main course-
Wild Risotto Mushroom- The Italian dish felt a little bland. Lacked flavours. The salt was slightly lesser. Loved the way the dish was presented.
Mutter kulcha- Once again loved the presentation. The stuffed kulchas were along with the side dish tasted good .
Desserts -
For desserts we had the red velvet cake which looked good and tasted good as well.
Definitely recommending the place. If you are looking for good ambience ,good music and food you know where to go. The food that we tasted and the drinks as in the cocktails we had were great. For a bar I was surprised to see the efforts they put for the presentation. Appreciate that. Perfect place to hang out with your gang. The best part is they give you free parking passes.

Last week I visited the wire room at Phoenix market city. Here’s an overview of the food and ambience.
Ambience
The restobar is located on the second floor of Phoenix Market City. The place is designed in such a way that it’s lit with natural light on one half, and the other half is fairly lit with beautiful light bulbs. Loved the music as well, but felt some songs were repetitive.
The restobar is a part of the design hotel where you have aesthetically designed rooms available for stay and can be booked directly or through the apps like makemytrip or trip advisor (you have to check out the corridors). You also have Annam, which is an all day dining.
Drinks
This is a place where you should order cocktails, because everything tastes so good.
1. Magizhchi—The drink is Wire Room’s speciality and comes with Thalaivar Rajinikanth’s face on it! Drink up to check what’s in it (loved the hint of cinnamon)
2. Cuban twist—The drink is a combination of pomegranate juice and syrup. Mind the ice that this comes with, but tastes good.
3. Kaapi—They call this the madras martini! The drink is a whiskey based cocktail with a hint of coffee and syrup.
4. Tiki takes a tuk tuk—tequila with passion fruit and watermelon juices and syrup.
Salad
1. Mediterranean Quinoa salad—Greek salad made with fresh cherry tomatoes, peppers, parsley, onion and guacamole. Loved how the guacamole paired with the fresh and crunchy vegetables and the hint of oranges. If you’re looking for something healthy and tasty on the menu, this should be your first pick!
Starters
1. Crystal dumpling—steamed dumpling with mushroom, carrot, broccoli and zucchini served with chilli sauce and soy sauce. The potato starch makes the outer layer translucent and you can see the fresh vegetables subtle flavours. Again a healthy option I would pick from the menu!
2. Chicken tikka—Chicken tikka marinated three ways, with spices and grilled to perfection. These soft and succulent pieces are served with chutney and sour cream.
3. Gulouti kebab—Again a favourite from the menu! Creamy spiced mutton kebabs on a soft flatbread. Enjoyed every bite of it.
Maincourse
1. Penne pasta with white sauce and chicken—I don’t usually eat pasta but they told me that this particular pasta was their specialty. It really lived up to the hype! The white sauce had the right flavours and the boiled chicken pieces complemented it so well.
Dessert
1. Gooey chocolate chip brownie with vanilla ice cream—What could go wrong with chocolate? Just order this :)
2. Baked yogurt with gulab jamun—The luscious wobbly baked yogurt with sweet gulab jamun is a deadly combination. Kinda addictive 🙈
If you are looking for a quiet lunch or dinner with friends and family, then here’s the place to be.

Wire Room, Bar and Kitchen is a resto bar which is located in Design Hotel. To start off the ambiance looks so classy with rugged look. I felt it was so perfect to unwind your day with some wine and dine.
To Note with bar, Interesting part is the names give for the cocktails which easily attracts the South Indian folks. I ordered few cocktails like Kaapi, a coffee based cocktails which had perfect blend of coffee with JD. MAGIZHCHI, there comes the thalaivar, signature drink of wire room. It a Gin and lime base drink topped with stencil art of thalaivar with cinnamon.
Kovalam, sounds so fresh isn’t it?? , it was served in attractive glass with loaded freshness from boozes. Overall, the varities of cocktails was too good and zippy. I would suggest people to try their cocktails before your BAL is high.
Moving on to the food,
Tikka taster, which had five varieties of tikka. I was a completely flattered with the taste, all the 5 tikka had distinct and lip smacking taste. Galouti shot, kebab was perfectly seasoned and it just meltes in mouth. The bite with coin size paratha was a drool. Ajwain fish tikka, suited best for my taste buds, the flavour of ajwain complemented the fish so well. Harrisa and cilantro prawns, the prawn was cooked to perfect and seasonings matched the dish to the notch.
For the mains I had, Seafood paella and penne pasta with arabiata sauce. All tasted yum but I couldn’t eat because I was full and BAL is high. Overall, it was a good experience at Wire room.
I would suggest the restaurant team to do some modification for their toilet alone. The toilet door was too heavy and immediately the complete mirror view make more dizzy than alcohol.

One bar that has a great drinks and food menu. There cocktails are amazing. I loved kaapi - a cocktail with coffee and JD, magizhchi - cocktail of gin and lime and kovalam - mix of Jim Beam and cinnamon.
From their starters menu, i loved their tikka platter and harissa and pesto prawn. Seafood rissotto was sooo good and made the best main course after the amazing cocktails. Brownie with ice cream and fruits tasted yum, but was not the best.
Service was quick and the ambiance was chick. Music was a tad boring.

Finally visited a place called wireroom bar and Kitchen in Phoenix Market city. it has great ambiance delicious food and cocktails. We had tried tikka taster, Mexican nachos, stirfried pork, Chocolate Marquise, surf & turf was really awesome .cocktail was good and we'll prefer to come back again..overall great place for drinks ,food, music ,and staffs are very friendly , great place for party during weekends .

Had been to this place after strolling around in phoenix for shopping.. Ambience is good for a lounge.. very relaxing couches are provided.. we went thr for lunch but this place has an ambience for a relaxed evening with friends.. We ordered Rib steak which i thought was less quantity compared to the proce they charged.. cocktails were good but again cocktails were overpriced..
Music was good and uniqueness of this place is its asymmetry.. u wont find a pattern with tables, couches or the sitting areas..

We were roaming in the mall and wanted to get a quick bite. The Wire Room came to our rescue. Really good ambience and interiors done really well. We went on a Sunday evening, the place wasn't crowded, was very spacious and thankfully the songs playing were not too loud, unlike other bars.
We ordered pan fried tofu, dahi k kebab and regular cocktails. The food and drinks were really good and service was impressive. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Very clean and spacious pub. The interior design is intrinsic and you would understand the reason behind the name once you are in there.
The staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered a classic caesar salad and it turned out to be wonderful. Veggies were fresh and there was ample dressing on it. The meat too was well cooked and tasted delicious. Add some beers snd some jagerbombs into the mix and have a nice time at The Wire Room!

Husband and I had been here along with his cousins on Friday night..I felt the place was dark because I being careful walking around.. but i louved the interiors.. very beautifully done.... so it was a little packed and the service was quite slow. the food was good.. we had a few drinks and something to snack - we didn't have a proper dinner. I had tofu fry and nachos.. being vegetarian. The others ordered something of pork, chicken - they said it was good. The music was good as well. Unfortunately, the lighting wasn't great for me to take pictures. To me, it was an okay place, but it is one place that u can chill and sit down have a few drinks and conversations.

Its located in the 2nd floor in Phoenix mall Velachery. The interior is just amazing and love the idea of making it with ! The staffs are very nice here and service is great. The price is just right for the food and drinks. Smoking zone is just outside the restaurant. The ambience is good but only issue is that the music is kinda loud i could barely hear the staffs while i was ordering. I hope they take this in consideration. I don’t know why people call this place too expensive cause this is the price expected when you u want a classy place to lounge and dine and have drinks in. Love the different kinds of food they have got on their menu like surf and turf and t-bone . The meat here cooked so nice and they even ask us how we wanted it to be cooked. One of the bars and pubs with great ambience and food is @wireroom Phoenix is getting it's beauty with this. Their cocktails and food were great with amazing presentation and service. They had a very quick service. All the dishes had it's South Indian touch enhancing it's beauty and taste.😻😻
Out of all the starters we had, the crystal dumplings, paneer Tikka and beetroot kebab were my favorites. They had the perfect consistency and stuffings.🥰🥰
In the cocktails, less old fashioned was a bomb, marine mule was lit, and to the gin lovers and thalaivar fans - magizhchi is absolute happiness! 🥂🥂

Good place with decent food and drink. The grilled fish was very tasty which was wrapped with banana leaf. And the soupy noodles was authentic and new dish. The prices are a bit high. Otherwise would have given 5 star. But the fish was worth a mention. All types and varieties of drinks are available.
Cost is high otherwise the place is worth a shot with perfect ambience and environment.
Restaurant and bar located inside pheonix mall. They have a really great ambience. Good quality food served at a decent price. Various choices of food are available including Indian, Italian, Mediterranean cuisines. I'm a big fan of the spicy chicken wings here. Various collection of drinks are also available.
Great ambience for those interested in a fine dining experience in Velachery. The food was very well presented, and tasted great. The serving staff were very courteous. The interior decor was enchanting too.

Bar includes Brandy, Gin, Rum, Tequila, Vodka and Whisky.
Non Alcoholic Version of the Signature Cocktails is also available which is an Awesome thing to know for people like me.
Don't forget to try their Signature Drink "Magizhchi" and many more such as Covealong, Madras Mai Tai.
Best thing about food is they have multi cuisine from Indian to Mediterranean to Italian with lots of steak varieties and also Small Bites (Starters), Soups, Salads, Sliders, Grill, Bowl, Sides and Desserts.
I just loved the Spicy Chicken Wings and Tikka Taster along with Broccoli Soup and Garlic Bread.
Mediterranean cuisine lovers, Don't forget to try Quinoa Salad.
Italian cuisine lovers, Don't miss to try Wild Mushroom Risotto and Pasta Arrabiata.
Sea Food lovers, Harissa & Cilantro Pesto Prawns was Heavenly.
Indian cuisine lovers, No worries. Mutton Pepper Fry with Dosa was out of the world.
Walnut Brownie with Ice Cream was Class and Red Velvet Cake flavours were extremely authentic.

Really good place. The staff is really good had a nice time here. Staters are a bit pricey but as long as u go to chennai bars u cannot make complaints. Overall a positive experience.
Amazing ambience and great service on time and amazingly tasty food. There's also bar in the ground floor where you can enjoy your booze. I can recommend this place to go on a date the bar is the place where you can get comfy and close 😉. All in all it's an amazing restaurant cum bar.
The ambience in wire room was really good ! The chef’s hand works magic we totally loved every dish we ordered it was so rich in flavour and very well served . The Mediterranean quinoa salad was awesome and the peri peri fish is something I can keep eating everyday !!! Loved it , will keep going to wire room every now then and suggest you people to also go there . Really good place .

Went to this place with not much of expectations. But I am glad that I tried this place. Very good started especially galouti kabab. One of the best Risotto I have had. The moctail was very innovative. The desert did not have much option so we tried Strawberry cheese cake which was very good. Would recommend everyone.
A very cosy and lively ambience. The starters here were delicious. They have happy hours on certain days which is worth if you are in a group.
A little bit pricier than average but can be visited once in a while for the ambience and experience.
