Wonderful ambience, great music and the food is simply divine! Spoilt for choice really, with the variety of pizzas and sandwiches on offer. And at the end of the day, when you come to dessert... The Theobroma is out of this world!

Traditional way of cooking pizzas here! Cheesy garlic bread with blue cheese is must try in here! Pizza base can be bit soft! Actually the corners of pizza is harder!
Fat Boy pizzas are one of my favorites in the city. They made our lockdown nights quite delicious and maintained quality every time. Our favorites include the pesto pizza with delicious artichokes and the margherita. Apps are probably not the best here, so I’d give them a skip. Pricier when compared to other pizza places that are just as good, but definitely not a deal-breaker.
I was craving for the perfect pizza for about a month. Tried Domino's and Pizza Hut and it just didn't go. Finally The Fat Boy delivered the perfect pizza I was craving. The base and the crust was perfectly cooked and for the lack of the lack of a better word, soft and tender. The topping was perfectly on point. Definitely my go to pizza place in Chennai 🍕.
I tried paneer pizza , garlic bread and cheese fries.
Fries - yum and good.
Pizza - I loved it.
Garlic bread - was okayish and a little hard. Should be because we got it delivered. But personally not my favourite.

Fat Boy - The immense open-fire grill and wood-burning ovens churn out inventive takes on traditional pizzas making it one of the best places in Chennai
1)We started with the Star boy pizza which is a loaded veggie variant with almost everything incl zucchini ,bell pepper , onion , olives, jalapeños, tomato , feta . It was excellent
2)Lover Boy pizza which is a spinach variant with capsicum ,ricotta &garlic which was my personal favorite , the slices vanish instantly
3)The Fat boy pizza is a simple four cheese pizza which melts in your mouth esp if you love loaded cheese (mozzarella, yellow cheddar , Parmesan , ricotta)
4)For starters we had Panko crumb chicken and cheesy fries which is a great engine heater for your meal , the fries is a must during every visit ❤️

Price around ₹500 each pizza but I’d recommend you to take a Zomato Gold friend.
One pizza is enough for two people to have 2-3 slices. The service needs some serious improvement , definitely a let down for a place serving such good pizzas

One of my favorite iItalian cuisine. Especially nachos and french fries are must try dishes. Pizza Crust and Cheese flavors are is the special mentions. Also visit with family or friends both will comfortable for this restaurant.
One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Theobroma was the highlight, a dessert to die for, loved it. The place is nice too, with good natural lighting as well.

We gang of four went for dinner on weekday so finding a table was not that much a issue, simple n warm ambience...
Ordered
1. Cheese garlic bread- was good, hand made bread with good share of cheese. Found portion to be bit High for short eat.. fills stomach a bit. 4/5
2. Hot boy(non veg) nice hand made pizza base, base was flat and pizza tasted good with nice amount of mushroom and chicken, spice level was good but not tat hot 4/5
3. Piggy boy- for bacon love, crispy bacon strips and caramelized onion took tiz pizza to a another level, only draw back was pizza base found it to bit think at edges (unlike hot boy) 4/5
4. Fat boy(veg)- for cheese love, basically a Margherita with four kinds of cheese, sauce used was too good.. star dish of the day 5/5
5. Theobroma - dint live up to the hype created.. was good but not worth d price we pay 3/5

The Fat Boy definitely know their pizzas well ! Hands down this is the best pizza parlor in Chennai currently.
There are three things I never fail to order here :
1. The Stud boy pizza - pepperoni
2. The Fat Boy sandwich - with bacon, caramelized onions and mushrooms
3. The peach ice tea
Points to improve : the base sauce taste is different in every visit. It needs to be consistent.
They have opened a new branch in Shenoy Nagar, Chennai, which i cant wait to try !
Tip for pizza lovers: add blue cheese with your pizza for that extra zing !

A popular place for pizza and a good place to hangout with friends. I have been here a couple of times and it was appealing everytime. I tried the cheesy fries here and they are just yummy! Service is good as well. Overall, a great place.

If you're bored of the typical pizza choices, definitely give this place a try. The ambience is on point and simple with lively music selection. You don't see a lot of transparent kitchens in the city and that is a cool addition to the theme and the ambience. If you have gold this is a no brainer to visit.
The Fat Boy in Alwarpet is one of the few good places in Chennai that offers good wood fired pizzas. The chicken and paneer tikka pizzas are both good and have good Leoparding on the crust. The crust is what makes the pizza a normal oven or a good wood fired pizza. This place does just that. Toppings are not extraordinary or out of the box, just simple yet good. Nice place for a Sunday lunch with friends. Check it out!

We stopped here one afternoon to eat the wood fired pizzas we had heard so much about.. The plus point was having Gold work at this place...
We ordered a Four Cheese Pizza and a Hot Boy... The four cheese as usual came with 4 varieties of cheese on it...
The Hot Boy was a spicy pizza that came with a fire sauce amd jalapeño... It was really spicy but in a nice way... For people who don’t eat spicy food, they should stay away...
Both the pizza cake with a crisp thin crust and generous toppings, especially of cheese....
Both the pizzas tasted amazing, especially the 4 cheese one...
Will definitely visit again... Service is prompt and the food arrived piping hot from a kitchen that is spotless clean and one that can seen from the dining area....
SARDAR BOY Veg Pizza!!!! Definitely a treat to your taste buds! The Cheese just melts in your mouth! Heard from quite a few friends as well that their Brownies and Brownie shakes are heavenly! Musttttttt try for the Pizza!
We were not sure on where to go to eat.. browsing zomato and found this place .. italian types pizzas with thin crust was too good .. after tuscana pizzeria i oved these pizzas and cheesy garlic bread was super . Tandoori aalo was spicy and lip smacking.. totally worth the price.
One of my favorite places in Chennai, Theobroma Cake and starters were great with a ton a cheese. The only issue i have they take too much time to serve pizza which honestly isn't that great
The best pizza in South India is served here. Try the sardar boy and the cool kid from this place and the best part of fat boy is the cheesy garlic bread. I have uploaded the pics of sardar boy and cheesy garlic bread. Pls do check out the rest of the menu. The price is reasonable for the portion of the food that you are ordering and two can share one pizza. They do offer zomato gold so its very reasonable and the ambience is ok.
The fat boy has one of the original wood-fire oven pizzas and they do a great job at it. It also do justice to the origin of Italian cuisine with the thin crust and cheese types. The Oh Boy! pizza was yum and their berry ice tea was unique by itself. The Ambience could be much better.
The fat boy is a cozy place with extremely courteous staff. I love how they've made the kitchen table transparent and I feel that this makes the entire dining experience very personal especially if you hit it during late nights. It offers a decent variety of cheese (buffalo mozzarella and blue cheese are my absolute favorite!) and toppings, although the quantity can be a bit insufficient at times.

Absolutely my favourite place out there for their delicious thin crust pan pizzas.
They make their pizzas in wood fire with the thin crust pizza bread topped with different cheese varieties which is a treat. They infact have a four cheese pizza exclusively for the pizza lovers. I also love the touch of goat cheese over some of their pizzas. That touch really stands out in the delicacy standards.
The ambience is pretty decent with a really great and quick service. I felt there could have been more choices for appetizers though.
But if I wanna have some good pizzas without a hole in the pocket it's always fatboy for saviour.
Wonderful experience. The pizza and their names are just smashing. Absolutely love it. I am almost a regular here. They also have a very good collection of exotic beverages.

What an awesome place tucked away in Sriram nagar. Pizzas were bursting with flavor and most importantly made fresh and wholly satisfying on the palate.
Being vegetarians, we were a bit skeptical about the options and kids were there too. But the variety was simple yet tasteful across all ages.

Good food! We ordered the Happy Boy (I think) and the parmesan stuffed mushrooms. Both were extremely well made and scrumptious! I forget the drink, but that was pretty good too.
One of the best places in city for pan pizzas! Loved the Theobroma cake and starters were also too good. Felt there were less options for veg starters. But a must visit place for all pizza lovers.

So I had ordered two veg pizzas-The Fat Boy(Four Cheese) and Happy Boy ,one veg starter - Jalapeno Cheese poppers and one non-veg starter - BBQ chicken wings. And finishing it off with a dessert - Theobroma.
The four cheese goes with the name ,so cheesy and yummy. For a person who loves olives,Happy Boy is a must try. Quite disappointed with the quantity of the starters ,but tasted good. Chicken wings were so juicy and tasty. Last but not the least,the winner,Theobroma,must must try. So tasty.
Parking service is available. Ambience is very nice. Loved the Polaroid frames wall.

The ambience was perfect for a couple of friends to enjoy the pizza. The both veg and non veg pizza taste wise was really good, the restaurant owner was kind enough to clear our doubt whether the meat was HALAL, indeed it was. But the base of the pizza is like the ones we get on dominos and not like the thin crust wood fire ones. But the cheesy garlic bread was to die for. Overall it was an amazing lovely experience. The staff were very courteous and comfortable.
Overall, a pleasant experience at their outlet in Alwarpet. It’s a functional eatery with a reasonably nice ambience. Didn’t have an appetite for a pizza and ordered their spinach sandwich (think it was called the Good Boy). It was a very well-made sandwich - two slices of bread with some yummy spinach and mushrooms and all the goodness that goes into a good sandwich. It does get soggy by the time you finish the first half of the sandwich, but I like soggy! Though some people may have a problem with that. Will go back for their pizzas for sure!
PS- they need to fix some of their stuff in the restaurant- the main door kept banging every time the kitchen door was opened (due to cross ventilation) - it was a disturbance to the diners - I could see people look at the door every time it banged. My table shook a lot and despite placing a paper napkin - it still kept shaking.
I simply loved this place.. we ordered the sardar boy and fat boy and the boys didn’t disappoint.. the menu was funky and I loved all the names they have come up with.. the dessert was to die for.. theobroma. Will be back soon to try out other dishes on the menu.. the ambience and the staff were really nice.. definitely a must try place

To start off, the best pizza place in Chennai. My friend and I love this place and always visit here whenever we need pizza.
We ordered the stud boy and the other spicy pepperoni pizzas (zomato gold is a blessing) the pizza dough is amazing and well cooked, not up to the Italian mark but it's good. The sauce was a bit too much on the pizza for me and him. They have to make sure the amount of sauce is a bit reduced. The cheese and pepperoni are heavenly.
Sometimes you don't have place to sit here, and it's very busy during the weekends. The ambience is okay. The service was a bit slow, because they took a while to even give us water. The pizza I understand, but the water too?

As we entered the pizza restaurant, I was pretty much excited cause' the name suggests fat boy and of course that was quite different so that was the first impression about this pizza restaurant. We ordered cheesy nachos jalapeno. Woo, obviously that was deliciously cheesy and yummy to have a bite over it. Since it is a pizza restaurant we were ought to order for 'hey boy' pizza grabbing a bite over it, that was mild, I felt. Moreover, it was quite large in quantity. However, it is hard to eat them whole by a single person.
Amazing food. Amazing ambience. Amazing everything. The cheese garlic bread is just so delicious. Known for its pizza, does justice to each and every dish served.

One of the few places in Chennai to get authentic good pizza. Quality and quantity are good for the price. Quick service. Lot of variety of pizzas to choose from, so thats great. Serves bacon so unfortunately I've been limited to trying only the veg options which I must say are very tasty. Garlic bread is sub par.
The place is nice specially the food is super. Worth trying a weekend. The pizza's are the best one to try. It's not cheap but it's with for the amount spend.

Went on weekday it’s really crowded and loud. Food was yum. Ordered hot boy pizza and masala lemonade, Green apple lemonade only masala lemonade was good.
I’ve been to fat boy 4-5 times and I’ve ordered in a couple of times as well. It is one of my favourite restaurants in Chennai. The pizzas are absolutely amazing, so are the sandwiches. Their signature drinks are also very interesting. My favourite however are their loaded nachos.
Every dish at this place is impeccable, and their service is also very good. Once my friend spilled her whole drink by mistake, and they gave us a second free of charge when we didn’t even ask for one!
A must visit if you’re in Alwarpet!
It is a little pricey, around 600 per person, but worth a try.

As the name suggests.... Trust me the taste is so so good that it can make you fat.. It's heavenly good. The crust is not too thick nor too thin... It has perfect moisture and crunch in every bite. It's actually a wood fired pizza with Smokey flavour... Must try the lemongrass lemonade.Its a game changer.

Each item is made super fresh and the pizzas/garlic breads are made in the oven inside the restaurant - giving you a wonderful view of the making process.
How the dough is stretched by hand
How the pizza (once assembled), is placed inside the oven
How the dough rises inside the oven.
How the pizza is then expertly circled inside the oven and treated with the rising smoke
- it's a treat to watch.
Coming to the taste
Masala Garlic Bread and Mafia Boy took the cake.
Masala Garlic Bread with onions red, yellow and green peppers was a *melt-in-the-mouth* experience .
The Fire Sauce in the Mafia Boy was indeed Fiery. The pizza was *ONE OF THE BEST EVER* and reminded me of my times in Italy - it was that authentic.
Onion Rings were good though were oily.
Both Mayos were finger-licking good.
Cranberry Orange Lemonade was fine.
Service was fast and unobtrusive.
Will I come again? You beg!

I went for lunch since there were good reviews and I recommend everybody who is looking for authentic pizza experience.
I ordered FARM BOY & TOM BOY PIZZA, both were tasty. I do not recommend ordering pizza with paneer tikka and Indian sauces because combinations becomes worst in my experience.
The speciality is that they make pizza on brick oven pizza.
Also, please do not order COLD COFFEE here, it is very thick makes very hard to drink.
On the other note, toilets and wash-basin stinks with very bad odor. Restaurant should look into this.

What I tried:
Panko fried chicken : Very average. It was way too oily & absolutely lacked tasted
Pizza was really good. The dough could've been brushed with olive oil or garlic butter.
I accidentally looked up this place on Google Maps and I was thankful to have spotted it.
The place has a nice ambience, with an open kitchen. The menu was interesting with quirky names for their pizzas.
Their pizza is the best one I've tasted till date. Cheesy fries is mind blowing. The food is worth every rupee.
Cons : When I visited all the roads connecting to the place were guarded by police and I had to take lots of diversions which made it a bit hectic. Parking space is a bit cramped and shared with other businesses at the location.

Been a regular since 2017 (I guess) they started the brand. Now they have 3 branches. Great Pizzas and service. Would’ve loved to see more pepperoni on the Garlic bread but otherwise nothing wrong! Tried the Beach boy for the first time it was pretty good.

Lovely ambience, nothing to complain about that. Very classy place. The starters were great but they were so filling that we had to cut down a bit on the pizzas. Maybe I should visit again just for the pizzas. Beware though, it might be difficult for anyone to order both pizzas and starters so I'd suggest ordering the main course after you're done with the pizzas. Had the peanut butter milk shake, that was totally awesome too. The only gripe I had was with the pricing. I wouldn't categorise this as 'expensive' but it was definitely not pocket friendly as well. Overall, a good experience and I look forward to coming again.
Labelled as Chennai best pizzeria the restaurant holds its title consistently . The pizzas are wood fired , delicious , loaded with real mozzarella , sharp cheddar and were best tasted with garlic bread accompanied with a cold glass of lemonade. But the one thing that upsets me is that their buffalo sauce is on the sweeter side and doesn't go well with a pizza and also the prices are a little bit high so that one pizza will set u back 600rs . Overall an authentic, fine dining experience
