Boats Based On A True Story - Chennai (Madras) - Photo album

Sea food is great, but let down on atmosphere. I had Long beach ice tea and I loved it.
Good spot to chillout with friends, food ambience are quite good. They provide liquor well with limited varieties
I've always loved going to BOATS. It's a calm, soothing spot that offers every delicious food and drink you might want to have after a good day at the beach. Me and my friends visited the place around evening on New Year, and I'm so glad I went there. Of, plus, the Beach view would be splendid if y
Been there twice. One of the best pubs in Chennai. šŸ’Æ
Absolutely loved the quirky decor, friendly staff and the delicious food šŸ”„ If you love mocktails definitely try Login to Bessy. It's the most refreshing drink I've ever had. The chicken tandoori platter was exquisite as was the Oreo caramelized apple crumble with ice cream. I'd literally go back jus
Amazing place with beach view and good quality food. The restaurant was clean and service was super fast. The beef steak served with grilled veggies and mashed potato should deserve āļø credit. The meat tenderness and taste was really awesome. We also had BOATS platter and chicken burger but werenā€™t
Beautiful place and amazing food! We went for a friendā€™s birthday on an afternoon so the place was quiet with just three tables filled. I loved the ambience and they have a smoking area which is separated. I wonder why they donā€™t have a vent for the smoke to get out because it gets suffocating in t
Highly recommend!! 5star overall, 5star+ for service alone. I wanted to arrange a nice lunch for my mom on her birthday. I reached out to the restaurant through Google chat option, honestly I wasn't too hopeful to receive a response but I got a response quite quickly from Raghu, I continued to chat
Polite and very good service. The cocktails and shooters are amazing. Pacific Blue and Classic Margarita's were very good. Tried the Vardha Out shooters and it was great as well. The food was excellent as well, must tries are the Bacon wrapped sausages and Fried Calamari. The most exciting dish tha
Boats is a nice bar towards the end of Besant Nagar Beach. A very popular joint in this area, it's thronged by people even as early as 5 PM. The prices are slightly on the higher side and the bill would range to 2k with food and drinks together for two people. I'd recommend it though. The service, a
An amazing place with great interior. It's in Besant Nagar. The place isn't too big but anyone will definitely love it. The designer has put a lot of thought while designing the place for sure. Just as the name BOATS it has painting and wall decor of sea or water or boats. Food is deliciously amazin
Reserve space and go. They have a set menu and Ala carte. The food was nothing great to rave about though. The staff are very friendly and courteous. I like the multiple seating arrangements suitable to accommodate whatever number of groups. They have a good range for vegetarians as well. A cozy pla
Great place to chill with your friends in the evenings. It's recommended to book a table in advance during weekends as the place is quite crowded and full. There is a huge menu for drinks and they have a wide variety of drinks compared to the food menu. Food was great although prices are too steep.
It has an amazing view and sometimes they'll have open mic shows as well. If you are a sports fan you can be audience to a match on a big screen.. Foodwise it's good but a bit costly. Overall it was recommendable.
