Best place for chats in Annanagar. Thier kachori is to die for along with mint chutney and sweet chutney. Not too pricy and pocket friendly
Want a perfect evening snack? Then you have to visit Shree mithai. They have a huge variety of quick munchies ranging from dhokla to spring rolls at super affordable prices!
I visited and ordered Punjabi thali for lunch. It was served with 4 naans which was delicious. Along with that panner butter masala atste was awesome. Addition to that one mixed veggies sides and veg salad- cabbage, cucumber salad with mild chilli powder mixed with that. One papad which was asusal.
Veg Pulav which was served with cashewnut tastes good. For that dhal sabji sides served also nice. Overall food taste was good .
Sreemithai is my favourite place since childhood. They have amazing varieties of sweets n savouries. My fav is there motichoor laddo and cheese pizza that's completely worth the money. Very very cheap for 110 🤑😱. Yet very very tasty ghats overloaded with cheese. Just so damn perfect!
Pizza - 5/5
Laddoo 5/5
.
Overall 5/5
I love their pani poori ♥️
Few days back we went for a dinner with family (6 persons). Valet parking available. We had Paneer Labadar, Veg Mugali, Nan, kulcha & butter roti with green salad. Taste was very good & all were happy. Will visit again after some time.
Visited this restaurant (3rd floor, fine-dining one) today with my family (4) for dinner. Valet car parking and lift available.
Since we went early, we got the road facing table. We ordered veg spring roll, panner manchurian, some breads, aloo-gobi and paneer gravy, veg fried rice, ending with a badam kheer and vannila shakes.
Everything was delicious. The starters alone were little oily, Otherwise 💯
Will recommend this place to my friends.
Love their battura and basundi but difficult to get space during the weekends
Chole Bhatura
Shree Mithai's chole Bhatura is one of the best I've had and the poori is soo huge... It's served with a little onion, pickel and channa... The taste is also soo good and makes you to get seconds.... The cost of 1 plate is Rs 95/- and I would say its totally worth it.
This is my go to place in Chennai, whenever I crave for North Indian food. And this place gives me the feeling like I am in North India. It is located at Shanthi colony, Annanagar (Chennai).
This place serves vegetarian food only and has 3 floors, 1st one is for Indian sweets, Indian dry snacks and bakery items. 2nd floor is a food court where you get juices, ice creams, street food varieties, South Indian, Italian, Chinese and North Indian food. And 3rd floor is a restaurant. We always end up going to the food court.
Staff here can speak Hindi, and are very friendly. Food is reasonable and they maintain good hygiene standards.
At Shree Mithai I always end up eating my all time favourite Chole Bhature, pav bhaji, veg grilled sandwich and mixed veg paratha.
I have also tried their sweets like motichur laddoos, moong dal halwa, Ras malai and Mysore pak; and they all are so delicious.
Last weekend I visited this place, had a delicious mutter mushroom and tandoori roti and chai. Roti and sidedish was delectable, chai was way too expensive.
Love the food.
Love everything about this place.
Dining out has almost always been about eating non-vegetarian food, but given a choice between this and non-veg, my vote is certainly for this
Busy eatery! We went on a Sunday evening! Ordered veg grill sandwich and a Corn Augratin. Though the sandwich was not upto the expectation the corn augratin was top class! Cooked to perfection! Must try! I m still drooling

Saturday evening crowd was crazy... nice ambiance but parking was a slight issue.
Bhatura was tasty and so was the rest of the food.
A place to vist ... try it, feel it and taste it..
Ordered chole bhature and it was friggin amaze. ♥️♥️♥️ Absolutely loved the chole and bhature. What a mouth watering experience. 11/10 for the taste and packaging.
My fav sweets destination.. Im a die hard fan of Ter kaju kathli and cashew crunch biscuit.. but Ter resto has always been a hit n miss affair.. today tried Ter aloo paratha and chole bathuda... both tasted good and great VFM...
Best north Indian dishes. Quite costly but worth the taste. #cholapoori #naan #paneerbuttermasala #dosa #gheeroast #paanipoori Here self service available
Perfect family restaurant... Usually crowded on weekends.. been visiting this place from the time it's opened... Veg Hyderabad BIRIYANI is best... And baked lasagne is just the way I want ... They have good service and maintain the standards throughout...
Pure Vegetarian super tasty food! No matter what food you order it tastes amazing and the north Indian dishes are also so well plated and served ! This place is mostly crowded on weekends and peak hours and also the range of sweets and savouries are so much to choose from
P.s; those are veg lolipops they looked just like chicken haha

Shree Mithai is an old and famous brand for chennaiites .
They maintain high standards and quality which is their USP !
Restaurant has three floors
1. Bakery , Sweets , Snacks and Savouries
2. Self service - North and South indian foods and chats
3. Fine Dining - Same menu obviously not the same price.
.
Must Try in Chats :
1. Bhel puri , Sev Puri, Dahi Papdi Chat - One of the best in city . The chutney , sauces , Bhel and Papdi is definetly unique and different from other chat places :)
2. Chola Batura - The Big oily soft bhature with the channa is heavenly
3. Indian breads like Butter Naan and Roti is top notch and combines well with Chilly Paneer
4. Fried Rice and noodles - Good yet a little bit dry .
The chef and people there are from North India so Don't be an idiot going there to eat dosa and idly because they don't specialize in that.
Must Visit !!!
Best place ever 💯 must try everything there one of best place to try chats, paneer tikka, veg fingers raj kachori Sandwich everything is awsome
Be it chole bhature, pani puri, any type of naan, malai kofta, daal makhani, noodles or manchurian, it is one of the best pure veg restaurant. But the place is heavily crowded on weekends.
Authentic taste from north India food is super good and of quality every penny paid is worth it. There are two separate dinings one for self service in which food is good but getting a table takes time and there's divine restarunt whose ambience and food is super good
My family and I go to shree mithai atleast once a week. Tasty vegetarian dishes... friendly staff and good taste is what this place is all about. Love their Kulfi and badam milk the most.
Ordered Samosa Chat with Extra Chenna topping , Samosa Chat with Extra dahi topping and dahi papdi chat. Delivery was quick and items were steaming hot and very tasty. The Quantity was very good, we didn't feel like having dinner after this.Definitely a must-try place for Chats.

I have been to this restaurant nearly 50 times. So I have tried nearly every single item. There are 2 floors. The second floor is a self service which has all types of cuisines, ranging from North Indian to Italian. Every thing is really good and the price is reasonable. The only drawback is the South Indian. Especially the sambar. It changes every time I come. Sometimes it is too spicy or sometimes it is very bland.
Moving up to the 3rd floor, Divine Restaurant. It is a North Indian restaurant. It’s s tad bit expensive than the 2nd floor.
Definitely hygienic and a very good quality of food
Well maintained restaurant. A bit expensive, but tasty north indian food. Try his chat items, it's just awesome. It's pav Baji is just awesome, bit expensive but too tasty...............!
Shree mithai is more like a bliss for vegetarians.
They have too many good choices.
I went there with two of my friends and ordered channa batura, Bombay sandwich, Dahi poori, kachori chaat and coffee.
Channa batura : It was good but channa was lil salty but my friends felt nothing so it was my personal taste pref I guess.
Bombay sandwich : I ordered this cuz I wanted to eat something light. People who prefer grilled sandwich or don't prefer half cooked veggies might skip ordering this. For me it was absolutely delicious
Dahi poori : curd was so gud with right amount of sweetness and if u want to have something less spicy it is one gud choice in Chaat
Kachori Chaat : This was very nice and tasty. Their chaats Neve disappoints me
Also we had a nice filter coffee 👌 ( Basically I love filter kapi so this was one of the best coffees) We were so full.
Since it was mother's day I got a mixed sweet of milk sweets for my mom along with paneer jamoon. I am not a big fan of milk sweets but I liked few of their choices.
My friend got a Choco truffle cake jus cuz she was so attracted by it's texture
Overall I would give a perfect score :) I will visit again cuz there r too many dishes to try.
I order very regularly from shree mithai. One thing that needs to be applauded is that the standard has not reduced a tad bit. The amritsari paneer tikka is to die for. It has the perfect blend of spices and the capsicum and onions are perfectly grilled with the paneer.
Another regular order is the brownie shake and the badam milk. Though both lack a bit in quantity, they more than make it up in quality. I think their brownie shake is much better than that of these shake companies which some how find a way to ruin the taste of brownie. Badam milk!!! I dont think anyone has to say anything about it. THE BEST!
Best Place to have high quality chats and food.
Badam milk: Tasted awesome with badam and nuts toppings. Rasamalai was toooo good.
My favourite chat Dahi papdi was best. The quality of curd in the chat was awesome.
Best place to have snack!!!
Thank you Shree Mithai for serving quality food!
Superb...North indian taste in south india...Along with good quality and reasonable price...Try atleast once in shree mithai and you can check the reality
Strongly recommended place for wide array of sweets and chats. You cannot go wrong with any sweet at this chain. Ambience overall is good.
Their kesar pedas are phenomenal and no other place can even come close to it. The raj kachori and chola batora are a must have here !!!
I wanted to try chaat items. Ordered samosa chaat and sev puri. Tasty and excellent presentation. Stomach filling quantity. Satisfied to the core.
Pocket friendly. Loved the Chinese platter and the Aloo tikki channa. Fast service. Shall visit again to try out the rest of the menu! Paani-puri wasn't much satisfying.
My favorite pick for cholapoori and tokri chat is this place , this place never disappoints you any time. Taste of the badam milk is really good . Will b visiting again and again for sure 🤩🤩🤩
Superb chat items and tastes awesome bought all this items and had the badam drink which was heavy and sweet to the core enjoyed the space bcz it's comfortable
The food was good. The packing is clean. I tried some chat items the taste was awesome and the price was reasonable. Sure will recommend to others.
Best place to quality and quantity, service by Zomato is also too good so order it and enjoy worth for each penny you paid, I enjoyed it fully, I hope you too.
Best Pani Puri and all food are good and tasty.
Milk dishes mind-blowing and North Indian people's like this type foods ... tasty and good quantity
Every auspicious occasion starts with Shree and for sweets it gotta be Shree Mithai. And even thier paneer bonda is a must try. It's awesome.
I like shree mithai food it's pure veg.
And food really tasty n awesome....😋😋😋
Most off all food is very best n sweet very awesome when I ordered I get all hot n tasty
Very good place for North Indian veg food. Can try the south Indian dishes once, too. Self-service floor is a bit crowded from evenings, which shows the fair prices and tasty food that the restaurant delivers.
The divine restaurant ambience is good. Similar dishes to the self-service floor is served, also few different ones are available too. Good for family dining.
Also, a sweets-only floor is present for the best north-Indian sweet spread!
Suits for hangouts with friends and repeated visits!
Good place with great range of sweet, savouries. Guess we need to handle the noise - but that buzz is what makes this place vibrant.
Been to Nungambakkam High Road outlet. Right at heart of Chennai and yes, you get parking :)
It's really a amazing place for chat items.... Me and friends. Hang out here for chat and the milk is very delicious and make our tummy full within fraction of seconds... So everyone must try this if really a chat lover
We always visit shree mithai with our group of friends. The more the merrier suits shree mithai very well. A good place to have chats and north indian dishes. Self delivery and luxury dining both are available. Better to go early on weekends, tends to be too crowdy
Our favourite place for sweets and savouries. Mouth melting taste which stays long, with separate parking for 2 wheeler's and 4 wheeler's...
This place is a blessing to North Indians who are living in Chennai. Recently I tried Triple Schezwan fried rice which was delicious 😋 it's a combo of Manchurian, noodles and fried rice on a sizzler platter. Highly recommended!
If you wanna buy sweets this is the best place in town..
I got a sample of their dharwad peda it's fresh no doubt as this is a famous sweet of Karnataka.. didn't expect the same taste here..
We also tried their chaats it's really great but their system to pay the bills first and dine kinda sucks as if you are hungry to try out something else you gotta pay once again leaving your plates...
Wouldn't recommend vada pav as it's not that great
Apart from that the quality and quality of food is really good...
Like every one says the price of sweets is kinda high...
Parking space needs to be improved

Nicely Renewed! Missing the Token Number calling Voice!
All Foods that we ordered that day was delicious! Except Waffles!
Shree Mithai had been here for quite a while. It still tastes the same which is a big plus.
They were known for their rasmalai during the initial days while they were in Chetpet only which is still true. I still remember the time when we ordere in bulk for our college party back in 90s.
I have tried this shop in Anna nagar a few times never disappointed.
I visited during mid day when its not crowded, found parking easily, not sure about nights or weekends. First floor is the sweets and savoury shop and the second floor is the chat Shop, they had ample space/seats. It was clean and the staff working there were doing their job without being promoted.
We ordered chocolate sundae, Raj kachori, bhel poori and mango milkshake.
Raj kachori does not have any filling by default, its added while making it. To my surprise I saw only green moong curd and other garnishing added, but was missing channa which i was expecting. Since it had loads of thick dahi/curd i liked it. Again this is customized differently by chat vendors.
Bhel poori was good, nothing to complain.
The hot fudge sundae was also made to order and was well made. The portion was more than what I expected.
My son always orders mango lassi wherever he goes, so we tried here too but to everyones disappointment it was already bottled and kept in iced water, we thought we would return it, but looks like there is no return, he did not like it, but he was carrying it till the end of th day and trashed it.
I would surely visit shree mittai again when I visit Anna nagar
A very good restaurant chain for various Indian cuisines, especially Marwari, Marathi and North Indian items.
On the first floor, fresh made samosa, kachori, khaman dholka etc are popular and gets over very quickly.
It's a treat for your taste buds here... Tried some! Delicious food 😋
Limited and selective 4-wheeler parking , valet parking subjected to availability.
2-wheeler parking is manageable.
Very busy and cramped road on almost all times located on a prime area.
Good traffic management by Shree mithai management.
The snacks, few sweets, North Indian cuisine etc are the best here.
Top class hygiene and cleanliness.
Well trained staff and courteous most of the times.
The chat items and all North Indian cuisines are most preferred here and most people of the locality’s most sought out snacking spot.
Especially the Anna Nagar branch.
The packaging of the items can be improved, but overall good quality and consistency of food overall and good experience most of the times.
Note: It would usually be crowded on every evening and very crowded on weekends and evenings. Plan accordingly for your visit or takeaway.
Had rava dosa, rava masala dosa, North Indian thali, Vada sambar and sweet. All items very tasty 😋
Shree Mithai's - an authentic place that serves best quality food true to its name and legacy over these many years. Situated in 4th Avenue of Anna nagar with ample parking space, this place operates in a 2 storey building with the entire ground floor for parking, first floor is for pastries, sweets and savouries, and the second floor being the food court which serves lip smacking chats, North Indian delicacies, Chinese dishes and South Indian tiffins also. The menu is quite good with lot of options. The taste is really good and quality of the food is also great. A point to note is it is a good court type which has self service. There are no waiters to take your order and serve them. But there'll be some employees to assist you with simple needs like water and cutlery. One important thing to note is that they don't serve any tandoori dishes, Indian breads like naan, roti, gravies and curries between 3 to 6. During this time you'll get other items like chaats, chole bature, Chinese dishes and sandwiches, pizzas etc.
We have ordered Rajma chawal, Vada pav, garlic naan, amritsari paneer tikka, palak paneer etc. Everything tasted really well and worth the money. Go try these out soon!

Food was finger licking. We tried North Indian and Chinese combos. It was very good. Value for money. If you're a vegetarian and looking for a good restaurant to eat in Anna nagar you can stop her. Spread is good. Quantity is adequate. They have stilt parking and valet parking available. The first floor is full of sweets and savouries. You can enjoy all kinds of sweets unless you are diabetic and have a calorie concern. They have fresh ghee, cow's milk and buffalo milk, butter and paneer. Dine in is on the second floor.
I am from uttar Pradesh i visited 1st time and I ordered Pani Puri and chaat pani puri both taste is average I you want taste eat roadside but you want service and ambiance then go Shri mithai
Most food items are worth the price. The tomato soup was not upto mark but redt of the items are awesome.
Easily accessible and deserves a try for their North Indian dishes.
Negatives
Parking is difficult and full in peak hours. Valet parking is not available to park vehicles other than their parking.
Self Service is both + and -.
We went for a quick snacks as usual chat section was quite full and packed so we opt to take some dessert instead and desserts were fresh and very tasty. Donut could have be better , Other sweets we tried was awesome 🤩
Good variety of sweets. I loved their milk cake and dry fruit laddoo. Highly recommend.
Absolutely yummy food and tempting varieties of sweets, bakery items and savouries. Well maintained and I like how the food is served on biodegradable plates. Service was prompt, however, one thing that I strikingly noticed was a LACK OF SMILE on the faces of workers.
The food is good and it's all self service with token system. The total ambience is changed. Now they have more chairs than sofas to accommodate more people. Valet parking is available.
Restrooms are on the ground floor.
Best of the best at its price, most importantly hygienic and quality of food is great.
