At last found a good place for vegetarian food. Has the veg biryani and paneer tikka. The tikka was the best I’ve had in a while. Biryani was also decent made with ghee and mild spices

Firstly I've been wanting to try this restaurant from a long long time. Happy that I finally got an opportunity to experience it. I have ordered home delivery (thali) from here and loved the experience.
I feel the dining experience has been a pleasant one and it's definitely in the list of must visit restaurants.
Ambiance:
The ambiance is super calm, quiet and looks super elegant. Looks classy. The room is well lit and it looks bright and attractive. This place has a classy vibe.
Service:
The service is fine. When we visited it was not that crowded. The staff were polite and took our orders and guided us correctly regarding quantity, etc.
Food:
I lovveeeeeed the food here. Being a Mumbaikar, getting good North Indian food matters. The taste is up to the mark. We tried tomato dhani shorba. That was disappointing but others were really good. Phulka and sabzi were amazing. Loved the grilled veg sandwich. Dal khichdi was the 🌟 of that night. It was amazing. Yummmy!!!
Definitely, will come here to try more stuff for the taste and ambiance.
Cost factor : It is little costly but definitely worth your money if you want to come for a fancy dinner with your family and friends.
Highly Recommended ✔️
This is an excellent place for the vegetarians. There are various options available. platter in starters is very good and the quantity is fulfilling for 2 people. Main course and dessert are also nice. Cost is bit high though.
Have been visiting this place in recent times and must admit is a good choice for vegetarians who love authentic North Indian cuisine. Had very recently visited (11 Oct 2019) with my family of 8 people. Right from booking the table (had a nice cosy place to ourselves for a small family get together), ambience, service and attitude of staff was all very professional. We started off with Makkai Shorba and Tomato Dhaniya Shorba and both were quite appetising. Our starters including a combo of Cheese Corn tikki, Chilli Milli Kebab which were very good. But Bhatti Da Paneer was outstanding and pick of the lot that we ended up ordering one more! Main course included combo of Rotis, Garlic Naans , Pahadi Paneer tikka and Punjabi dum aloo which were lickable till the last bit! We finished with plain rabdi ( give it a try if you are a basundhi fan) and Jalebi which were yummilicious.
Definitely a very good choice for exclusive veg fine dining, if you are in the vicinity of Manapakkam/Mugalivakkam, DLF IT Park.
Although close to my office, was on my bookmarked list for a very long time. Finally made it today with office colleagues.
It is primarily located near to Ramapuram signal, very easy to find out.
The ambience is simple, elegant and bright.
Service was quick and waiters were knowing about the dishes and were able to explain the dishes.
Pricing is decent and worth the taste.
We ordered
Kebab platter - five varieties of kebab , made perfectly. Good in taste.
Tandoori platter - again five varieties of tandoori dishes which were good and baked well.
North indian thali - This thali is really vfm. They gave tomato shorba, roasted papad, 2 roti or nan, one dal, one paneer gravy, one aloo palak gravy, khaman dhokla, dahi balla, raita, veg biriyani, white rice, then to end either gulab jamun or strawberry ice cream. All this at ₹240.
Tomato shorba was super in taste
Paneer sabzi was also good
Aloo palak was okish only
Khaman dhokla was smooth
Dali balla was okish in taste
Veg biriyani was very good
Dal also good.
Strawberry was good but it the quantity was less.
So many items at ₹ 240 is really vfm.
Would remommmended everyone to try.

Good Ambience. Authentic and Tasty Food. Good choice for family casual dine out. Loved all starters and desert items. Highly recommended. ...
Great food, I ordered paneer pasanda, aloo mirchi, paneer dum biriyani, subzi dum biriyani, garlic naan, butter phulka, carrot halwa, dry rabdi. The word is YUM. It was delicious. Lil pricey but was up to the mark. It was not oily, too much masala, not too heavy. Loved it completely. The delivery was super quick and the packing was great as well! 😊
It’s a veg resturant which doesn’t serve buffet but the food is damn good. Especially people who love north indian food. Parking could be a challenge for cars but overall a very good experience with food.
Great food and greater service. A jewel for veg food. Totally worth every penny spent. Has good melody playing as well. Best for all kind of groups.
Had lunch with family at Santrupti. Great food with awesome service. Their Dum Briyani was the pick of the lot.. Above all their ambience and service is top notch. Like to mention about Mr.Prasad. His service and customer care is extraordinary. We really enjoyed our time here. Thank you so much Mr.Prasad and entire crew for your food and service.

Very calm and quite place. It's got a very peaceful vibe to it. We went on a Thursday afternoon and there were more servers than visitors. It's actually good so that you can have your food in peace.
They advertise their thali well and we too fell for it and it was a good choice and it was extremely filling. Although the zing and the X factor was missing but it was well covered by the rasam shorba and their creamy strawberry ice cream. I generally don't like strawberry but this one was quite pleasing. All other items in the thali were not extraordinary.

A very nice place with a very nice ambience. We wer not so hungry and decided to have a light dose of food. We order cream of mushroom soup, tandoori mushroom and to beat the heat we had a glass of butter milk. Every was tasted good and no complaints.
Visited on 7th July 2018 for the first time. Loved the ambiance and food. Friendly staff. A little expensive but worth it. Yummy food. I recommend this if you are looking for a good vegetarian restaurant
Actually I say this is a great North Indian cuisine restaurant. Service is great and the people are great. I had a great food with different options like platter, lababdar and fantastic dessert options
Been here several times. This place is a hidden gem amongst restaurants in this area. Service is great on weekdays and sucks donkeyballs on Weekends and Holidays. Food is out of the world. I am quite finicky about restaurants (as you'd have seen from my past reviews) and won't give a great review until i've seen consistency. This place lives upto my standards. 😂
Been here like 10 times now and 10/10 food was great. 7/10 service was good.
I went here on a Sunday afternoon and to my surprise it wasn’t crowded and was very calm and pleasant.
Menu:
It has a range of North Indian dishes. I felt the price was on a higher side.
Food:
I ordered the thali . It had dhokla which was tasty with the green chutney. Didn’t like the dahi Bhalla though. Roti was soft along with some delicious paneer and veg sabzi. Veg biriyani was tasty with the raitha . I also liked the dal. Soup was spicy and good to have . Last was the ice cream.
Mom ordered kadai veg which was too oily. Oil was floating on the top. Her phulka wasn’t soft.
Masala chaas was so refreshing for this scorching heat.
As a whole it was a filling meal.
Service:
It was fast and efficient.
A good place for a family outing with a very lam ambience .
Food - Ordered Tandoor veg platter (includes tandoor aloo, baby corn, paneer tikka, mushroom and gobi), basmati plain rice with veg kohlapuri sabzi. All the dishes were delicious, the coolers like Jal jeera and Masala chaas were also equally good. Finished lunch with a double sundae (mango-strawberry) ice cream. End result - Yummy Tummy. Thank you for the delicious meal.
Visited this restaurant after seeing great reviews in zomato. It is located right opposite to MIOT hospitals in second floor of building which houses reliance trends, so had no trouble in finding it. Plenty of parking space. The Restaurant is located on the second floor of the premises.
Good thing is that it opens at 630 PM itself. We reached there at 630 and they were gracious enough to let us in even when kitchen was just getting ready. The restaurant is nicely decorated and well lit. Has a couple of tables of private dining too. The restaurant was empty on Saturday night at 630 but was filled to brim when we came out after eating.
In few minites we were given menucards. Given that it is a northindian restaurant it had a very vast spread of items. It was a challenge for us to choose things.
Given that we were 2 people with a kid, we were given a choice of combo starter where we can choose 2 varieties of tikka and 4 peices of each will be served. We ordered tomato shorba and combo platter with a choice of aloo and Malai paneer tikka.
We were served in quick time. Tomato shorba was average. I Always prefer thick creamy tomato soups. But we were told at the start itself that it was not a cream of tomato soup but tomato shorba and it would be watery like rasam and little spicy. And it was what it was. So full marks to them for giving us a prior information.
The combo platter with malai paneer tikka and aloo tikka was awesome. So hot, well cooked and aptly flavourful . My 3 year old son who hed never has aloo tikka till yesterday gobbled up 2 of the aloo tikka and wanted more too that we ended up ordering one more plate. And again all 4 aloo tikkas went to his plate... It was served with kachumber which was good too.
Main course orders were for 1 cheese naan, 1 stuffed kulcha, 1 veg dum biriyani and 1 cheese balls rasswalle.
We wanyed to order Cheese balls rasswalle as it was cheese balls cooked in onion cashew gravy and it sounded yummy. It not only sounded yummy but it tasted yummy too. Loved every bite of it as it was mildly spiced and cheese balls were out of the world. It was served in good quantity too. It turned out to be one of the dish of the evening. It was perfect... Just perfect.
Cheese nan came in 3 pieces and kulcha in 2 pieces. Both were nicely cooked and tasted great too.
Veg dum biriyani was piping hit when served. Loved the texture of the perfectly cooked and spiced single single grain of rice. It was a bit spicy though but went well with the gravy and was another dish of the evening. It was in good quantity too that we could barely finish the whole meal.
Desserts were Gulabjamoon and Plain Rabdi. When we ordered gulabjamoon we asked it how many and we were told 3 small pieces but what came out was hot freshly made 3 big pieces. Sweetened aptly it was something we couldn't finish. So we packed 2 of them back home.
Rabdi was just average. I have had better rabdi at pind which is ny benchmark for best rabdi. This was watery and just average.
The waiters were proactive in serving each dish when it came to table and was cordial too
The bill was 1612 rs
Pros:
Every dish in taste and quantity
Cons:
1. My 3 year old kid was running around as he does always. I believe it was not to their liking even though they didnt say anything, we could see from their faces.
2. A tad expensive but when the food is good it compensates the price. So all good there.
Rating : 4.5/5
Will i visit again?. Definitely yes.
1. Parking was awesome so 5/5
2. Staff was awesome so 5/5
3. Food was good still they can improve 4/5

5. Location 4/5
6. Env 3/5 env can be improved.
Table was not smooth so juice fell down and staff immediately cleaned it and said don't worry I will change it and give you new. Small thing but matters alot. For a family place it's quite good. People more than five should get some discount :-)
Hi
I am glad to share my experience with Santrupti here. Every time we plan a party, get-together, guest dinner / lunch for PURE VEGETARIAN restaurant in our locality the first place to strike our mind is Santrupti. The ambience is very good here. The parking is always available and it is easily accessible.
A couple of months back we planned for our brother's Silver Jubilee Anniversary inviting a crowd of around 50 members. As soon as we contacted Mr. Sasi Kumar, the banquet manager is always happy to help us. He customised our menu and stood with us throughout the function with arranging hall, decorations and of course the food. The taste of the food has never disappointed us in santrupthi. I strongly recommend Santrupti restaurant for all vegetarians. The food is pocket-friendly.
A good north indian in chennai. Good taste. Good service. Car parking facility. Good veg restaurant for family.... you can try it. A variety of food choice available

Best place if you wanted to try good north indian food especially they serve really good kulcha. The meals for lunch is a good combo with really good choices of food. Aloo, hyderabadi paneer, dhal ka thadka gravies are what we tried and everything came out really well. Waiting time is more, but the service is good. Ambience is neat and clean. Kulcha, naan, roti s are amazing. Masala Stuffed kulcha is must to try. Overall good food, but bit costly when it comes to pricing.
Its a nice place for family, friends get together. Neat, quiet and nice ambience. Good service. Food stuffs are quality, variety and taste wise good.
This is a fine dining space food quality is good .a better place for children . Intermediate service.polite attenders .a good place for fine dinning. Pure veg . Value for money
On a good Sunday afternoon, we decided to stay home and order food. That’s when I ordered from santrupti veg restaurant, I ordered wheat roti, butter naan along with paneer makanwala and pineapple raitha. The gravy was so delicious And paneer was cooked so well along with pineapple raitha which had a sweet and sour taste at the same time. One of the best place in ramapuram for non Indian cuisine vegetarian. I would love to visit the place some time to try other dishes too. 👍
Been there for 2 times.. nice food.. seek kabab is very good.. try paneer mirch ka salan it was really very good. Hospitality is good nice ambience
Fantastic food. lovely and calm ambience. Amazingly courteous staff. Neat cutlery and a very hygienic restaurant.
But the bummer is the cost. Ultra expensive and not for regular visits. Only for select occasions. The costs hit the roof and go beyond. Looks really unnecessary to be priced this high.
If only the costs go down by at least Rs.50 per dish, I’d gladly order over and over again!
Had been there this October for the first time and till now been there four times now😊 and introduced my friends and families. The service is excellent and the way they keep replenishing water, feels great as I am welcomed well in home. Enough parking space. I would recommend to visit on weekday as you can enjoy with peace.
There are very few vegetarian restaurants which serves the best food and this is one of them. A great place to have your veg food. Ambience is pretty ok. I ordered North Indian meals. It was too good that I took a parcel of it to my home. A must place to visit if you live around porur.
Like my hunger pangs that used to specifically be directed at Pan Asian food a few months back, the priority has turned to some good North Indian food recently. Since we wanted to have vegetarian food, and did not want to venture into the heavy Saturday evening traffic, we chose this place as it was also close by. The place is right on the main road with two other restaurants in the same complex. There’s ample parking space, so that’s another worry off your heads.
Thank god for quick eats that this restaurant serves. Pocket friendly too. Service was little slow though. The bhaji was very very tasty , perfect proportion of the ingredients , salt , spice and cheese.
A lemon ginger mint soda and pav bhaji is a combination to try
Wonderful lunch, Simple, Crispy and Calm Ambience, Superb Service.
I wish to try every varieties, they are offering, but I can't do as my stomach is not allowing🤐
Loved it 💚💚💚💚
My favourite here is preplated thali which is available only during lunch along with the regular menu.. the food tastes good and neatly served. The pricing is also reasonable.
Ordered a North Indian limited meals.
The tomato soup served was the best I've had so far. The naan however was too dry and the dal was not good. Also the kaju panner curry we had ordered was absolutely delicious.
I found the food to be a tad too spicy. Otherwise good quantities, great ambience and superb service.
tried their paneer kochmari paneer. it was unique and I would say it's a must try
From today's lunch at Santrupti.
Located right opposite to Miot Hospital, Chennai , Santrupti is a perfect destination for Vegetarians with a pleasing ambience.
On my plate:
1) Corn Palak Shorba
2) Tandoor Platter: Babycorn Peshawari, Paneer Tikka, Malabar Gobi, Tandoor Kumbh (Mushrooms) and Tandoor Aloo
3) Kaju Mutter Pulav
4) Subzi Dum Biryani
5) Sweet Lassi

Something you need to add to your bucket list if you are veg foodie. The food, Ambience and Service is all good.
The space apparently also has private dining which seems like a good idea since there are not much restaurants offering it.
After reading the reviews on zomato we tried this restaurant. Ambience was good but the AC was not working properly and it was very hot inside the restaurant. Food was nice ordered veg thali . Quantity was good and taste was nice too.overall a nice vegetarian restaurant.

I heard about this place from my colleagues and visited for the first time today. This place offers a vast number of diverse options in North Indian cuisine covering Thalis, Starters, Main Course, Deserts, Juices etc, is very calm and nice place for fine dining, though I kind of felt people aren’t so welcoming - may be because of the time I visited which is when the restaurant was still being made ready for the day.
Ordered North Indian Thali which had a cup of Tomato Shorba with Masala Papad, followed by A Thali with two Roti/Kulcha/Naan (your choice), a portion each of Veg Biryani and Rice/Curd Rice, Daji Vada, Snack of the day (Dhokla), Sweet of the day (Gulabjamoon), Dal and Two Sabji (Paneer and Bhandi). Cost of Thali was about 253/- including taxes and is so little expensive. Food was fresh and yummy, Ambience was good but the place isn’t so welcoming which is what they might work on a bit.
Overall food was good, veg biryani was very good.
And also they followed the special instructions about food.Neatly packaged and delivered on time.
Paratha/Roti should be better! Rest everything is good!
Wanted to try this place as it looks elegant on the menu and went for lunch.. well, I was not disappointed. The North India meal was lush and it tasted really well.. might want to try other dishes sometime too.. not to forget the lovely ambience.. so vibrant and fresh with lots of colours. It makes you feel pleasant
Looked perfectly calm and welcoming when entered the place. The staff and service were a delight. This place an experience for veg food lovers especially there delicacies of paneer which are cooked in apt amount of slices good you to cherish the taste (recommended to try paneer handi) and if the food experience wasn't enough there sweet dish (gajar ka halwa) are a taste savouring experience for ones taste buds.
Ordered paneer tikka lababdar online.
The packing is where these guys made a mistake.
It comes with a box of onion and beetroot and another box with the paneer dish.
The water from the onion and beetroot had leaked throughout the packing and all the tissues were soaked in it.
The lababdar tasted good.It was a really thick masala. The paneer pieces were so tender and excellent.
If not for the poor packing I would have given a 4 or 4.5
subzi dum biriyani... a veg treat!
Had subzi dum biriyani. Its of good taste and also enough of quantity. Worth the money. Place also calm and nice. Service is ok. Its a good choice for vegetarian.

FlavorFolk was started in 2005 by like-minded restauranteurs to provide memorable and value-for-money culinary experiences to the discerning guest.
Even though the food was delivered late by 15 minutes...the taste was exceptional...ordered kaju mattar pulao and it was delicious. North India lunch...roti, rice and other sides were very good...considering the price...this quality is expected and they have met the expectation. Cuts rice could have been made slightly better. Also, order dry fruit lassi and sweet lassi...taste, price and the quantity was good...maybe if they can add basundhi...it might even taste more delicious!!!
Delivery was quick.. Food was awesome.

Expensive in comparison with similar restaurants
North Indian Thali is a good pick having variety at decent price
This restaurant is located near a busy junction but that doesnt affect the calm and perfectly lit ambience of it.
Must try :
* Baby Corn Peshawari
I have never tasted such juicy and yummy baby corn elsewhere. Perfectly cooked and it was too good with the green chutney.
* Masala Pappad
Why would i miss having a pappad when am at a North Indian restaurant. Loaded with tomato, onion and sev this was second best to the baby corn.
* Sabzi Dum Biriyani
The best ever Biriyani. Period.
*Rabdi with Jalebi
Saving the best for the last. The jalebi was coated with ghee and the jeera was oozing all over. Rabdi is no exception, not too sweet and it was perfect.
Will surely be visiting them again. :)
Awesome food. Really loved it. Yummy.
Ambience is also awesome.
The pickle n small onions they give additionally are also delicious.
Must try for all.
I would honestly rate the food here as 4/5.
The food was so yumm that its a MUST TRY place for all those in hunt for Vegetarian Thali.
The thali has Tomaro Shorba, Dhokla (Chat Item), lenthil's, sabji, veg biryani, curd rice, papad, roti/khulcha & desert (which can be either Gulab Jamun/Ice Cream/Carrot halwa).
We've been here quite a few times. Great place to dine in. Much needed one for the particular locality. Lovely ambience overlooking the busy roads. Food & service was good, especially loved their tandoori babycorn and lassi. They might consider bringing in few more varieties in their menu. Highly recommended!
Food - 4/5
Service - 4/5
Ambience - 4/5
what started as an adventure to a new place ended up with one of the few authentic north India dinning in Chennai.
* Ambience - 4/5 (cosy but little noisy; if you get to the seats by the road, be ready for glares coming from high power lights at the parking; it could help to frost the lower end of glasses to stop the glare without blocking the view)
* Food taste - 4/5
* Quality of food - 4/5 (low oil and a judicious use of spices make it appealing to taste buds but light to digestive tract)
* Cost - 3/5 (cost of two would be 1200-1500)
Excellent Vegetarian restaurant option in Ramapuram. Good ambience, friendly staff, decent food. Veg Thali, Pav Bhaji, Veg starters platter were all good. Veg thali is not to be missed !

One of the best vegetarian place in Manapakkam..
Went here with parents for dinner as they are vegetarian on Saturdays..
this place definitely gets crowded.. we waited for 10-15min and got a decently placed table..
Ambience is good and service fast...
Food is great.... tasty and piping hot!! All the dishes were yum and in decent portions !!
The mixed platter was worth a try..
Not much a veggie so not sure if we would frequent often.. but will surely recommend for vegetarian foodies!!
Great food, nice presentation and courteous staff. All in all a nice try and go to for veggie lovers. You definitely will see first of it's kinda items in menu. Give it a try, the quantity will not be too much, so do not expect yourself to share with other halfs unless your appetite :-). worth a try, bit costier on pocket for veggie though..
nice food, good quantity. timely delivered

Excellent food and ambience. There's always a rush but you're never made to hurry up. Palak chaat, pineapple raita, briyani, paneer mirchi Hyderabad curry are excellent.

Perfect restaurant for pure veg lovers. They offer varieties of veg dishes with delicious taste. We had thali and panneer bhatti, both are good in taste. Ambience is cool and the service is good. Parking is also available for 4 wheelers.
Recommended by a doctor at MIOT, and for good reason! Utterly delightful North Indian veg meals: paneer gravy, bhindi curry, dal, rice, pulao, FRESH raita, dahi puri, dhokla, papad, and a tomato/dania broth starter that was perfect for my sore throat that day. Choice of naan or paratha (served hot and flaky). All this plus a choice of sweet or ice cream for dessert at a reasonable 250. Even the mukhwa was in nice quantities. Didn’t feel heavy after eating a lot! Gets my full recommendation.
One of the best North Indian Restaurants near SRM Ramapuram and DLF Ramapuram. Thali during Lunch time is must try and is priced at ₹250/- only totally worth it 💯💯 Service is Fast .
The food is very tasty and healthy.
Good natured staff. Parking available . Neat and clean wash room . The price is also genuine. Highly recommended!!

Located conveniently on the Mount Poonamallee road, on 3rd floor. Has ample parking space. Very courteous staff. Busy restaurant has a waiting time of 20-30mins.
Very tasty food, they serve very delicious North Indian meal. Price is reasonable for the quantity and quality served.
Great place for good North Indian cuisine. Though a bit on the pricier side I enjoyed all the food.
A very good place to satiate your vegetarian food cravings. Pleasant ambience, responsive staffs, decent serve times and delicious dishes made it a great experience altogether. Ample parking space but spotting the place could be a little difficult.
Great restaurant. Food tastes lip smacking good, offers a respectable quantity for the price, selection of spices for the dishes are amazing, great ambience, parking space at the basement, offers for corporate dining too.
We keep visiting Santrupti often and have never been disappointed. If you’re located close to Ramapuram and are looking for a good, fine dining vegetarian restaurant, do try this restaurant. Cheers!
