Always great to be here to Starbucks, it's a nice chill place. This time I had the chicken and ham sandwich.. the bread was a brioche one and it was lovely!
Love their cakes. this carrot cake suggested by them was very very good. Vanilla sauce accompanied it and it was quite good. 👍🏻 wasnt too sweet as well..

The ambience was'nt really great at this Starbucks outlet as it was super crowded and really noisy.
And on the day I had gone , packaging was apparently not available , hence, the glass cup and no straws were given as well.

Whenever I enter Express Avenue I have always seen this particular outlet of Starbucks brimming with people sipping on their coffees after shopping. Recently after a tired shopping experience, I decided to have coffee here with a bunch of friends.
I had their mocha and it was a perfect blend of coffee and chocolate. Really elevated my tired senses. My friends also loved their respective coffees.
On the whole this is the cafe to refresh ourselves after a shopping spree in EA!
Jus wondering do we really need to pay too high for a coffee or any other side orders but then comes to cost of the interiors included in the bill but being from a middle class family and getting into a coffee shop for a most expensive coffee and enjoying it because of the interiors . Our group felt it too high for prices are may be because of the brand
The location, the setup of Starbucks is always overwhelming. The coffees are good too. We need such models of cafe in city. The pricing is ofcourse high due to brand value. The quality is matchable.
Starbucks is my favorite place any day for either a hot cup of rich hot chocolate or a cool frappucino. Love the ambience too , haven't tried much of their snacks/deserts and ice teas though will give them a try next time definitely

One of my favourite place for coffee and place meetings. Was in Chennai for office work and was glad to visit this place. I like the expresso and cappuccino a lot .
Great place ideally located in the mall. The service is quick and the staff are friendly. The food and beverages are good, aptly maintaining the usual Starbucks standard. My only issue is the seating arrangement which is pretty haphazard and makes it difficult to move from one side to another especially which is crowded.
Starbucks needs no introduction!
But what I'd like to tell is that they've got some AMAZINGLY good butter croissants- so soft, so flaky and so buttery. Definitely some of the best I've had in Chennai.

Went to Express Avenue yesterday for shopping and by 4 O Clock stepped into Star Bucks for a coffee. I am not a coffee person and this is the first visit to Starbucks.
Order was for two Latte.It was different from the other coffee places and was refreshing as well. I lost sleep and was feeling energetic. Spending 200+ for a coffee was something which I thought I won't be doing but it was worth it.
Giving a five star as I loved there Coffee....

I’d ordered a chicken wellington and a skinny iced latte for a light brunch. The latte was as expected- low sugar (hence skinny) with the flavour of a regular iced latte. However, the chicken wellington wasn’t that great.
On the side note, my order was brought pretty quick which was a plus point.
As obvious as it is, this big-league coffee chain is the best of it's kind. If you're looking for that place to catch a quick coffee, a relaxed date or a quick study/work place or just a general hang out, then this is the place for you. It even draws in non-coffee drinkers like myself with their variety of pastries, chocolate drinks and savoury dishes.
The prices are honestly ridiculously overpriced for just coffee but considering this is also an American chain, it's unavoidable. Either way, 10/10 the perfect place for relaxation.

One of the premium coffee shop chain located right inside the entrance of the mall......plus points of this place is brand, menu and service......but price is expensive......a small kiosk like shop in the one side of the mall.....at times too congested especially during weekends.......can look out for some were more spacious location......within the mall.......else this might be a strategic location as no one can miss the view of it........leave the call to them......
Believe me .. first time paid over 200 bucks for coffee .. was it worth it ? Yes I loved the taste .. will I do it again ? Yes if someone treats me to it ;) .. blue berry muffin .. not to my liking .. the egg was a bit over powering .. but yes .. ok for a change
The Starbucks situated at Express Avenue Mall seems to be a busy place catering to the shoppers. Ambiance is reasonably good as it is an open cafe and service quite prompt. I wanted to order Alphonso Mango but it was not available, so ordered Midnight Mocha which turned out to be really delicious. It worked out to around Rs. 300 plus which is on the expensive side for this drink but overall a good experience.

The service at this outlet was prompt and swift. I ordered the seasons special red mocha frappe. It was a yummmy thirst quencher. The other drinks were strawberry, vanilla frappes. They tasted great too. This place is a good stopover if you need a starbucks break from all the shop-hopping at EA.
Having a hot chocolate here is a pleasure and may be the only thing that is worth the money. Had a red velvet cheese cake the only difference between the normal cheese cake and the one you get in Starbucks is the customs duty.

This my second visit to a Starbucks, somehow Starbucks has never been attractive to me. Ordered a caramel crunch frappe. The drink arrived after 10mins. Visually it's very appealing and taste wise also it was good liked the slight bitterness of coffee I was happy that the sweetness was balanced perfectly. It was a decent coffee except the price. Paid 360/- for a small cup.

Located on the lobby level / ground floor, this isn't a standard alone store but is on the passway. It's a very small place which can hardly accommodate 25 people at a time. Post their 100 stores celebration disaster, we were a little sceptical going back there but then, since we were there shopping and wanted to quench our coffee thirst and since had our eyes on the red velvet cake, we ordered a couple of red velvet 🍰 and their new creation Golden Sparkle Frappuccino (GSP). Initially what they brought in the name of GSP, was a little too diluted and the Manager Mr. Karthik was more than happy to modify the drink to our preference. The second drink what he brought was a little better than the initial one but somehow, I didn't like it much. We also did a take away of a strawberry drink and a chocolate Java drink. The strawberry drink was far better than their new GSP creation. What Starbucks need to do is to customise their drinks to Indian pallette. We usually don't like our coffee to be too diluted.

A decent coffee shop on ground floor of Express Avenue. All snacks and coffee are just like any Starbucks around the world but it is still a bliss in place like Express Avenue mall where options are slightly restricted.

My first ever visit to any of the star bucks branches in chennai .
After heavy shopping at the mall we landed here for quick small bites .
My buddy had hot chocolate being fav .
And I ordered for blueberry delight pastry and murgh tikka wrap .
The portion of wrap was normal size , just as one tibs frankie and the filing was fresh and spicy withmayo loaded . I liked it a lot and it was priced around 250 .
Blueberry delight had whipped cream more than cake slice in between , it was filled with over cream , I being not a sweet tooth din feel like craving but for real dressertholic:p (I kept this name ) would hav surely loved it very much .and it was priced at 175 .
Hot chocolate was too yummy and served at right temperature.
Total bill was about 760 and I liked my first visit a lot . As it's in middle of mall , it doesn't need any publicity , easily noticeable

My first ever visit to any of their branches , star bucks is one cafe that created a whole lot difference from the rest , and stands out unique .
Small cafe in the centre of mall wit French , Italian and a lil desi twist ,
We ordered three dishes
Hot chocolate- tall Valencia cocoa orange cap , yummy hot milk with chocolate , much needed for my throat . Like the cute idea of writing names on cups n callin out for order .
Murgh tandoori wrap - very small portion , with lots of spices and chicken shreds .
Blueberry delight cake - out of this world. , I usually prefer only chocolate or anything related to it but as my friend wanted to try something different I went with idea as it looked so freaking yum .as you can see in the image .
Lots of whipped Cream under layers of blueberry syrup and cream .
Just loved it to bits
I would rate this place -4/5 may be if I go to separate branch my rating may change .

This one goes out to be a very late review. Visited this place on the New Year's Eve. The place was so crowded but the service was so quick. I really loved their seating.
This is my first outing with Starbucks!!! This outlet is located in bustling Express Avenue mall in its entrance.
It has minimal seats and it's crowded mostly. Better to go for a takeaway. I was bowled over by their service, it was top notch.
Went for a slice of Red Velvet and a large Hazelnut Latte!
The cake was ok, now regarding the latte it was out of the world. Man!! It's the best latte I have ever had!

It has become a ritual to visit starbucks whenever we visit express avenue mall.love their cappucino and red velvet cake.The place is lil bit overcowded during weekends.
This Starbucks is more of a 'takeaway' place. It's situated in the ground floor of Express Avenue. As mall is mostly crowded, there is rush in Starbucks as well. Quality of food and service is very good as usual. However, the place is not great to sit and chat.
Starbucks in Express avenue is at ground floor, it's almost full all the day. The menu is really good and the quality is equally good. Cold coffee with hazelnut syrup topped with cream is my favourite here. Good place for some good quick bites.

The pastries and desserts at this place are amazing. I always order the java chip chocolate muffin, which is a sinful chocolate muffin, has bits of gooey dark chocolate and is dusted with cocoa powder. The chocolate brownie is also yum. Their chilli cheese toast is a must try. And of course their double shot cappuccinos. :)
Starbucks! name has it all, its one of the best coffee outlets, the ambiance itself make you happy. its in the ground floor of Express Avenue Mall, its not that big one. Coming to the taste, all products at Starbucks have its own flavor & taste . I tried out white mocha really creamy with cold coffee, nice after taste then I tired red velvet cheese cake, soft & melts in mouth on the whole its a beautiful experience at Starbucks.

Walked in for few desserts and it was good, the brownie, muffin and a drink. All of them turned out to be tasty and took some more home for my daughters. The ambience is noisy because its in the crowded walkway in a mall. Service was exemplary, the staff were courteous, patient and friendly.

Starbucks is one brand that has been a saviour in many foreign countries for me. Amongst the cafes in India, ofcourse this brand holds a special place. There are a few mixed feedback, with complaints about consistency, some blends not being as cool as how we get at other countries etc. Yet, it stands tall.
After a heavy day of shopping, we decided to settle in for the Evening coffee and snack.
Location and Ambience :
Located at the ground level of the EA. A small kiosk type with limited seating, little congested.
Food:
Had a signature hot coffee which is basically a hot chocolate drink with whipped cream and chocolate syrup as topping along with chocolate chip muffin.
One of my favourite coffee shop across the globe.

The baristas follow directions. Will do just as said. Place seems a bit crowded as it's located near entry of a mall. However, it doesn't matter as the coffee is well made. Can go to other place if you've gone with someone and need a lil silent or calmer ambiance.
Cafe mocha was my favourite post lunch drink in Los Angeles. I was missing it in India as Starbucks didn't have any outlet in Calcutta.
I was delighted to see the outlet in Express Avenue mall, Chennai and wasted no time to order the same drink.
Taste was perfect, exactly the same that you get in the USA. I sprinkled some chocolate powder on top and it was even better.
Comfortable sitting arrangements and catchy music added to the cool casual vibe of the place.
Price, however, seemed on the higher side as just one small Cafe Mocha costed Rs.199 (all inclusive).
A little noisy . there is no privacy. But their coffee is as always good. So prefer a take away. This time I tried a pesto sandwich and it was yummm!! For people who love Indian makeover for every cuisine should try their spicy potato puff.

This is the first time I am being to a Starbucks outlet.
Ambiance: It is an open outlet. The interior was bright and pleasant.
Food: A Java chip frappucino and a Vanille Latte where in, the frappucino was cold and delicious.
Service: It was polite and extremely pleasing. The order was provided quick.
Damn, this place reminds me of satiating my coffee cravings at the Starbucks joints in Dubai. But I haven't been to one for the past five years, after coming back from Sweden.
It was so refreshing to order (my usual) a piping hot Grande Caramel Macchiato with caramel drizzle and an extra espresso shot, I love my coffee with a tinge of bitterness. It was a nice break from the packaged Starbucks drinks I had to endure in Scandinavia!
The wooden interior was nicely furnished which was comfortable and inviting, makes you want to curl up in a corner with a cup of coffee and a novel.

Absolutely in love with this place and their coffees. They have the best coffee ever. Don't know why people find it overpriced whereas it's the same as any other reputed cafes. I wish to try all their coffees soon. Don't miss their hazelnut latte.
The caffeine behemoth hit town long back and has made considerable inroads since, with outlets in over 5 prime locations Starbucks is making great bucks.
The Express Avenue outlet is a bomb, beautifully done wooden panels and seating arrangements. Be warned though this is nowhere near quaint, its loud and chaotic and obviously so in regard to the overall milieu at the mall.
The Hot Chocolate Grande that I ordered had the creamy texture required and was a tad more on chocolate than usual. Justice was served on it overall, although I wouldn't say its worth the ₹180 plus taxes paid.
A joint to spend out those hard earned penny.. I felt it was costly but being branded I think we shouldn't question the authenticity.
But make sure u reserve a place before u order

This Starbucks is within the Express Avenue mall. It's a welcome site for mall rats like me and it's not all that big but it's cozy with 25 seats approximately. The staff are just as attentive and helpful as any other Starbucks outlet. This store is quiet open and transparent enough to let the people walking into the mall to catch a glance into the store. I've been to this place thrice, kinda ran into a couple of friends at this place.

I had waited for Starbucks to open for a long time! First branch was in Phoenix mall and second was in EA.
It's undoubtedly one of the best cafés in Chennai offering a wide range of hot and cold coffees and a variety of desserts, sandwiches, etc. The red velvet cake is so delicious! Their cold chocolate coffees are also awesome! And the pasta is good too!

This Starbucks branch is more like a take-away kiosk located in EA mall. The place is too open for a dine-in but if you want to have a quick take away then nothing can beat starbuck's when it comes to cold coffees and iced mochas.

Tried Starbucks coffee in Chennai for the first time after tasting it abroad quite a few times. The taste of both the cappuccino and iced caramel macchiato was really good. I feel that the price was on the higher side compared to other coffee shops around but can definitely give it a try once a while.

I really appreciate a girl rekha for exceptional customer service. She gave a brief explanation about the difference between latte and Capuchino. At last she told me to try chocolate latte( double mocha latte) and that was delicious.

Ordered a Cappuccino with Caramel flavour added to it. It was a good coffee, but the additional caramel flavour was great. Definitely as we know Starbucks to be known for its pricey coffees, it was good to try it out. What I liked most in Starbucks was the additional flavour choices, which comes with extra price and sugar choices. They had sugar free, brown and white sugar options. So it's a great option if you're on a sugar free diet.
Best team, we tasted caramel frappe at EA starbucks for the first time and we fell for it.. after that we have tried caramel frappe in starbucks everywhere in Chennai and no one, I say no one has ever made the frappe in the same taste or even better than the guys at EA starbucks.

One of the busiest starbucks around , It's not like others where you can sit and chill because of the rush . The coffee is like any other standard Starbucks

Starbucks required no review I believe. This branch has a good location and sitting arrangement. Service is very good.
Carrot cake is highly recommended.
