Bayleaf is an authentic Bengali resturant in midst of namma Singara Chennai! Bengalis Are sweet toothed from birth. So let me start with desserts - Gulab Jamun = Yumm, Mishti Doi = Yumm Yumm!

I would say it's definitely one of the good restaurants that serves Bengali food and to my surprise I could barely taste the mustard oil! I think that's because they have fine-tuned the food for the people of Chennai. The food tasted good and service was okay. I definitely had a good time :)

Authentic bengali good in chennai with good ambience. Must visit with families . Space is small and difficult to get seats , so book in advance . Parking is difficult due to narrow road, but sometimes they do have valley parking to help with. Go for it and savour your taste buds.

An awesome restaurants in Chennai that gives you a taste of authentic Bengali cuisine. The ambience of the restaurant feels even more homely with nice staff behaviour.
They have Bengali, North Indian, Tandoor and Chinese Cuisines. It was very tasty and fresh. Pricing is slightly higher than what it is supposed to be. Hygiene and quality of food was really good. Service is excellent. For one adult it would cost 700 INR.

As a Bangladesh I can tell It's not pure Bengali but they have done a good job for sure. Tried the mutton jhol curry, it was so delicious. Staff's were amazing.
