I placed an order for a home party on 10th March and their service was top class, not to mention the food quality. Mr. Lakshmi Narayanan coordinated the delivery part so well that it was seamless and on time. The gentlemen who came for delivery were very courteous and helpful so much so they brought just 5 portions of additional noodles all the way from Anna Nagar to Thiruverkadu in less an hour. Now that’s what I call customer delight.

To be honest it wasn't that spicy but the taste was really good. Would have been better if there was a little bit more spice to it.

Food at Kim Ling is always fit for a king. My all time favourite is the hakka noodles. Hakka noodles anyway, veg, non-veg, mix.
I always end up having a scrumptious meal at Kim Ling. Take away or dining, the service is amazing.
They also customise your dish according to your liking, which seldom happens in any other restaurant.
I also never forget to order the enchanting crab meat soup. Yum yum all the way !

I have been dining in this restaurant for many years now. They serve one of the best and authentic Chinese food. Yesterday I ordered prawn exotic noodles. A combination of normal and glass noodles, the taste was heavenly. Moreover the chilli vinegar and sauces they serve enhances taste any noodles or rice that you eat.
Also their customer service and attention is top notch. Very polite and friendly staff.

About ten days ago, we decided to go out for a late dinner with a couple of friends. We actually thought about going to another restaurant but that was closed so we came here.
Our friends are regulars here and my husband said he had eaten at Kim Ling over a decade ago but it was my first time — though we’ve driven cross it an innumerable number of times.
It was late so parking was pretty easy to find.
The restaurant is in the basement so we walked down a flight of stairs. At the end of the staircase, the first thing that caught our sight was the aquarium— or I should say the sight of the kids. You can just imagine how excited they were !
We were ushered and seated inside. It was pretty quiet, low lighting, not bad — not great. But comfortable enough.
I don’t remember the exact names of everything ordered but we ordered:
A soup - which was pretty good.
Steamed dumplings — again no complaint.
Some chicken starter — okay.
For the main course we ordered some noodles, some fried rice and a shrimp side. I don’t eat shrimps so I can’t comment on that but I enjoyed the noodles more than the rice.
Overall, the food was decent enough. A place one can go back to.
The service was quick enough and waiters were friendly.
Best of all, the company was great!

Veg dumplings were amazing. Loved the Thai yellow curry one of my ever favourites. The Kim ling fried rice was at its best. Loved the shady cozy ambiance and the food.

Can’t recommend this restaurant enough. My childhood memories are with this restaurant as well. Their taste is consistent for years. I have been dining at this place for more than a decade and their taste hasn’t changed even once. Very friendly staffs as well.

Kim Ling needs to introduction for those residing in Anna Nagar. For us, Kim Ling has always been a go-to place for any family dinners, especially for their non-veg and momos. I have no count of how many meals and memories we have had here in the last 10-12 years. This is based on another random dinner visit to satisfy some sudden chinese cravings.

The menu offers a great variety of choices for both veg and non-veg. They have a vast collection of soups, starters and mains. For non-veg, they serve chicken, lamb, beef, fish, shrimps and crab. We have never checked out the veg side of the menu here as we go to feast on non-veg. Apart from the usual schezwan, tomyum and manchurian recipes of any pan-asian restaurant, they also have many signature dishes and unique flavors.

This restaurant is located in the basement right next to Louis Philippe showroom and bang opposite Starbucks. The signage is small and is very easy to miss for first timers. The ambience is simple and minimal. It is decked up with some red Chinese lanterns and few Chinese pictures and figurines. The dim lighting that was so typical of this place has now become much brighter.

The Fish starter was good. It was usual fried fish chunks tossed with capsicum, lots of pepper and spring onions. It was soft and spicy – just the way I like. The fried rice was great!! It was full of veggies, chicken, shrimps and loaded with flavours. The devils chicken gravy was spicy and loaded with juicy boneless chunks of chicken. This perfectly accompanied the fried rice. Overall, this was a delicious wholesome meal.

The service was remarkable, as always. Most of the staff are old timers and are completely professional. They are very accommodative and welcoming. They are always attentive to any requests, ensure every dish is personally served and keep checking on your comforts every now and then. Also, the service is very quick when you order.
Value for money: 4/5
For the full order including taxes, the bill summed up to Rs. 1008 for two people. We were completely tummy full by the end of our dinner. This is good value for money, considering the service, taste and quantity.
My take:
One of my all-time favourites and a must try for some good Chinese. I strongly recommend this place if you like momos and schezwan recipes – one of the best you get in town. This place is a hidden jewel in Anna Nagar!

Best Pad Thai I ever had in Chennai. The locality is filled with many so called Asian cuisine restaurants but this is the authentic Asian food I had over a long time. I wonder how I missed this for so long.
The Chicken was well cooked and spices added at correct proportion. It was not too spicy with a tinge of sweet inbetween from peanuts, which was just perfect.
It costed 199 with 20 for Zomato delivery. The portions are so huge that easily 2 people can share. One recommendation would be to sell half portions at lesser price point. I wouldn't order If I am the only eater as half it will be wasted.
A nice and comfortable place for families. I ve been frequenting this place for a long time. The management and staff are very kind. The service is good. We ordered manchow soup to be delivered at 12.30 a.m. on new year's day. Though the restaurant closes at 11.30 p.m., they made it a point to deliver the soup as requested around 12.2 0 a.m.
A very nice place for some good Chinese food. These are some pictures I took last weekend when we went to this place for dinner. Chicken Manchurian semi-gravy and chicken lollipop are my personal favorites.
Ordered their Chicken momos and the Exotic Chicken noodles... delivered superfast, hot and steaming!
Chicken momos were A+ juicy, well cooked and good enough for 2-3 people (Total Qty ard 12pcs packed neatly in 2 takeaway boxes). These were accompanied by a chilli paste sauce and peanut sauce.
The noodles were really soft and nice but needed bit more seasoning. Maybe they can put a bit more veggies to it! It came packed in a heat sealed foil pouch. There were sweet chilli sauce, tomato sauce, chilli vinegar dip, etc with this package. Qty is huge!
Try Chicken schezwan noodles and chicken momos here, good ambience and serving is good. Overall good restaurant, price is also reasonable. *Never order schezwan chicken fried rice here*.

I went to this place only for its Chinese ambience and authentic momos. Wow, the place is quiet calm and peaceful! The whole place is decored in bright red wall papers and Chinese bgm. You may feel like you have been transfered into a Chinese city i.e. kung fu panda movie! Momos, soup and bamboo rice was yummy and you must try their signature dish made out of fish which was both spicy and tasty to the core.
Wonderful flavours and I keep ordering it. Flat noodles and dragon chicken are perfect. Love to see them serving with same quality and tasty food.

One of the better Chinese restaurants out there. The ambiance is on point and the menu is reasonably priced with respect to quantity. The rice and noodles are the best dishes this place has to offer, however, the main courses don’t lack taste either. The service has always been good and the waiters have always been polite (I say this as a regular since 2010). Overall, a very good place to dine with friends or for a quick meal during your lunch break.

One of the best Chinese cuisine is guaranteed here. After reading the reviews from other foodies I thought to get an experience by myself. And so the hunt for Kimling began one night for dinner. Didn't had difficulties to locate it. Just in the main road with parking space. From the entrance itself it gives a feel of Chinese ambiance. It was pretty crowded and even people reserve their table as well. Not a single table I found to be free. If customers leaving means another lot coming. So it proves it's popularity.
Lots of menus to chose from.
● Crab soup. It was little spicy but the consistency and the taste was perfect.
Moving on to the main course.
● Chinese chopsuey. That was delicious. Crispy noodles with chicken and veggies. White sauce. You should try this dish. Yummy!!!
● Kimling fried rice. Quality and quantity was maintained. Taste wise no space to criticise 👌
● Peaking chicken. Something different in taste. Chicken tender pieces in not so spicy gravy. Light in stomach. Delicious!! 🤘
The bill for two including gst came for 932 rupees which was reasonable I suppose. We nicely enjoyed the dinner. Service was quick and staffs were courteous. Definitely will be coming back soon ☺
Like this place in Annanagar budget Chinese food. Few of their dishes are outstanding and the service is good as well. Their chilly roast beef is outstanding as is their mixed thuppa.
Another Sunday lunch. Some qurik of fate led me to dine at Kim Ling. This is a place from where I have had many a takeaways. Never have dined inthere all these years. The Mandarin chicken soup was light, spicy and at the same time full of flavour from the lemongrass and mushrooms. A fair portion considering we ordered it 1 by 2. For mains we had Chinese Chopsuey and fish in black bean sauce. One of the few times where we had food without adding any condiments. The portions were also ample. A nice price point, absolute VFM.
I also like the way the staff service the customers. They keep moving around checking on the tables. There seems to be no rule that a specific staff will serve only specific tables. What results is that there is always someone attending to you. Excellent.
I came to know about this place through their deal in Nearbuy. One day during dinner time, I was going that way, went for it. This place is easy to locate. Parking need to be managed in roadside. Restaurant is located in basement.

I am ordering after more than 7 years. Truly great food. I ordered non-veg exotic noodles and aromatic chilli beef (300 rs.) salt n heat all normal. The quantity was huge. Total cost with taxes rs 580. Ideally three persons will be economical as the average cost can come down to rs 400 and then u can order soup/starter to average about rs550. Which is very good deal for this top quality meals. I have dined at several locations in chennai chinese such as Dynasty, Mainland china, wangs kitchen, Taj lounge bar ( bogo offer on premium liqour so i went there ) and several more. Kim Ling tops the list. They have built a very good fan base here.
I strongly recommend. Disclosure: i am yet to try the cascade they opened shop nearby. But I dont them a chance to hold a candle to kim ling they are mahadevan's chain- Expensive and not chefs all meghalaya cooks. Even wangs has descended into a commonplace kitchen -they retain the style, luxury etc...but food not that good. Some years ago he had (The Wangs near to icici bank ,shanti colony) a singapore chef i used often order or dine in there. now it has descended into a commonplace kitchen-about 3 star. One of the finest Chinese restaurants in Anna Nagar where the food tastes so good. Dragon chicken, governor chicken and Phuket fish are the best starters you get there. And for the main course I got killing chicken fried rice and chicken chilly oyester gravy yes off course it was good. Their service was pretty quick ...

I had American choupsey and Chinese choupsey here. Chinese choupsey was good worthy. But American choupsey was not up to the mark it actually had bland taste was not so tasty as expected. Kim Ling! Been and being a customer to this place from childhood, one of the best place for delicious chinese food in anna nagar.
Our order was #sweet_corn_chicken_soup and #manchow_soup for the appetizers, and #crunchy_lamb for starters which was really very very crunchy and dry. And our main courses were #chicken_fried_rice , #American_chicken_choupsey which a perfect blend of the flavours, and #Devils_chicken - which was chinese styled chicken gravy not too spicy but equally flavoured.
And #lemon_soda for beverage- which was a terrible disaster, because it seemed liked the lemon used was bit rotten.
And finally the dessert #Fried_IceCream🍦, but that also ended up to be a bit disappointing this time. As jt was not upto the mark like the last time. The outer crispy covering was too chewy and taste was it was like a dried bread filled with milk, I felt the quality of the ice cream used should be improved.
Apart from these drawbacks.. The ambience was really calm and silent and service was normal.
Overall 4/5 rating, and a good decent place for chinese cuisine dinner. ✌

A restaurant where you get yummy Chinese food for reasonable prices. You won't be have any problem for parking because there is sufficient space in front of the restaurant to park four wheelers and two wheelers. Kim Ling has been one of the successful Chinese restaurant in AnnaNagar from such a long time. It's located in the basement where you can find a reception and an aquarium as u enter in and the restaurant is to the left.
The ambience was cool with Chinese antiques and photo frames. It's quite dark down there and gives a perfect feel for a calm and quiet lunch or dinner. We checked in for lunch at around 1.00 pm, the restaurant was completely empty and we were the only customers. Light music was played in the background which added a touch to our moods. The servers responded very well to our queries and they were pretty quick in serving the food.
We ordered a plate of phuket fish, Hong-Kong chicken, Schezwan chicken fried rice and a egg fried rice. The phuket fish is a must try in this restaurant and I order it everytime I check in here. The fish is nicely tossed and served. It looks really beautiful and tastes great. The Hong Kong chicken is basically spicy which made me go for it. The quantity served was reasonable and the gravy was juicy with tender boneless chicken pieces. You get one of the best fried rices in this restaurant. I can't call it as a perfect Chinese fried rice but a desi one.
VFM - The bill was 1200 for 3 people which is quite reasonable nowadays. Foodies who are looking for Chinese restaurants in annanagar can try out this one without any second thought about it. The prices are not that expensive when compared to its competitors like wangs kitchen and cascade.

Happened to accidentally find this outlet as I was looking for a place to eat after a movie.
It was really busy when I got there, was not sure if it was because of the food or the limited space they have.
The menu is Indo - Chinese and not authentic or whatever it is they claim they at their door front. Having said that, the food is good - not the best or one among the best, but good.
We settled for 3 soups and 2 appetisers,although I managed to take the picture of only one as we were really hungry.
Good flavour but portion size is fairly small, except fr the drums of heaven.
Will recommend the place to friends and foe alike.

Loved the Crispy stuffed garlic potato!! I dont have a sweet tooth, but this was brilliantly cooked and filled with flavours. Service was on time and the noodles/rice quantity for one dish was wholesome!! 😄😄

I was expecting the same quality of taste which i got here. Dish which I ordered were KIM LING FRIED RICE and HONG KONG CHICKEN. An awesome taste with an awesome surrounding.
Covering up, it was a nice experience,a better surrounding than other so called restaurants,well mannered waiters,neat and clean aroma.

One of best Chinese Cuisine in Anna Nagar. I am regular at this place and they make such yummy soup especially Hunan Wonton and their signature " Fuyong". I like exotic noodles and Kim ling Thai Fried rice which are my favourite. All the main course are equally good. Few years ago they used to serve more quantity which got reduced gradually. Their service quality improved a lot... Keep up the good work. It's a "paradise" for Chinese food lovers....

Ordered one wonton soup and sweet corn soup, which was yummy. Veg Fried rice was fresh and hot. Crispy mixed noodles was really crunchy and spicy. Overall rating 4/5. Must visit place.

Enjoyed an amazing Chinese feast at Kim Ling Specialty Chinese Restaurant. We began with the Crab Meat Chili Celery Soup which was flavoursome without being spicy. Next up were the juicy chicken momos and pepper chicken, both of which were excellent. The steamed chicken momos were perfectly soft and their flavours shone through the delicate steaming. The fried chicken momos provided a crunchy contrast but were also very tasty. The Cing Zing fish was another highlight.
We tried the fried ice cream for dessert but unfortunately it did not meet our expectations. Ignore it.
Kim Ling has ornate Chinese decor creating charming ambience. Attentive service ensured our dishes were served hot and fast. Our total bill came to around Rs. 2000 for two persons. We used Zomato to get attractive discounts, bringing down the final amount by 15-20%.
With its genuine Chinese cuisine cooked to perfection, Kim Ling has become our new favorite Chinese restaurant. The extensive range of starters and soups cater to every non-vegetarian craving. We will be back again soon to treat our taste buds to more of their lip-smacking Chinese fare, avoiding the fried ice cream next time.
The starters were really good and Chinese . I had the opportunity of tasting chicken , prawn and beef in starters and they were yum. But the main course was on the down side . We had both noodles and fried rice and both of them were a let down and they didn’t taste anything close to Chinese .

The food was very nice... Everything was very tasty... Must try wonton soup aka dumpling soup... The lighting inside was really dark.. It really gives us that Chinese kinda vibes there..
Nice place to hangout with friends a bit moderately priced. Great food and service only the ambience is dimly lit and reception has some bad odour. Other than that its a great place to hangout and try chinese cuisine
This place is so beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. The ambience is on point and the food was top notch. Even the service was really good. A must go place!
I recommend : Kai lan for appetizers and Kim Ling Special Noodles!
If it is Chinese it is Kim Ling, except for the ambiance. Little too dark place to be.
