Simply the best, not to mention the most affordable, vegetarian buffet restaurant in Chennai. Very helpful and polite staff and manager, and the selection of food is incredible with lots of choice of salads and sweets. The restaurant is always packed so advance reservations are recommended. No alcohol is served. Special menu for specific festival days is always popular
We went to this restaurant during a weekend. There was no crowd. Staffs were very polite, and food served were of great taste. We went for a family dinner consisting of 25 members. It was a great and memorable experience for everyone.
Regenta Deccan Central is one of the only two star rated hotels as of today in Chennai which offers pure vegetarian food.
I had been to Olives last month when they were conducting Kerala Food Festival where Chef Saras Viswam flew all the way from Kerala to prepare the food. It was a real value for money(those pics will be shared later).
Today, we as a family had been there to enjoy the buffet lunch. It was top class. As you could see, there is a wide variety of food items beginning from
Starters. They also have LIVE counter. Desserts are very many.
Staffs are real friendly. The ambiance is really good in the restaurant. Restaurant Manager Aditya Prakash Singh is a real gentleman who caters to your needs.
Do not miss it 😊
Went there on Onam day asking specifically if there was no onam fest going on for which their team said no. There were no posters on Onam fest as well. However, once I reached, I was surprised to see the menu: Ada pradhaman, olan, thoran, aviyal. Food was tasty but felt slightly let down as I didn't want that flavour of food. Thankfully Veg briyani was excellent and the North Indian side dishes saved my day.
Service people were courteous. As they didn't have a bakery, they allowed me to cut a cake brought from outside because we planned this as a bday outing.

Weekend veg buffet costs 1500 plus.
But misleading advertisement. On all other day buffet is 777.
On weekends buffet costs 1554 and offers (1 free on 1 buffet).
Approximately 25 items served.
