My most favorite food is biriyani ,taste and quality is best for me and my family is one and only this restuarant and all the dishes are super I Am Loving It..
A best hotel interms of quality, quantity and taste. Atleast once in two days I order for biryani. I'm fond of Salem RR Biryani. Their ingredients are awesome that spices are less and taste is best. Even u would be satisfied with normal plain biryani. Velachery branch is best for taste and quantity. I had been to Medavakkam branch, but quantity is less, also taste not that much great like Velachery. A best hotel I would recommend for Biryani lovers.
Biriyani lovers ku best place salem RR briyani unavagam,,,i almost tired 7branches velachery ramapuram,arumbakkam, gindy, valasaravakkam,virukambakam, maduravoyal, all are same quality nd taste. Nxt soon we plan 2 go medavakkam branch π, velachery branch is my favorite

one of my best briyani. good taste with lot of rice. The good thing is, they pack in banana leaf. other restaurants packing parcel briyani is in plastic box is wrost thing, but salem rr is doing good particularly parcel.

Wholesome amount biriyaani rice in one plate whenever we visit this place. One drawback is that they serve just one chicken piece for a plate sometimes. The taste is good period. But their ambiance is their major drawback. Too hot to dine in.
Had biryani on this place 3 times which is good tasty and rice is more too much for single person to have but one with hungry stomach can fill entire Biryani side dishes brinjal onion raitha are good
quantity and quality of briyani at one place. Briyani lovers should step in here atleast once. Taste of chicken 65 is vera level. Must try.

Except for one time on my last order when I felt the rice was overcooked, have always been satisfied with Biryani from Salem RR, Velachery. Ordered via Uber Eats, there was some confusion and one biryani was missed. The delivery guy went back and brought it.
2 Boneless Chicken 65 Biryani, 1 Egg Biryani, 1 Chicken Masala and 1 Chicken Pepper Fry.
Biryani was very tasty, chicken 65 pieces in it were good. Chicken Masala was tasty though it had a lot of oil floating on the top. Had to scoop out some of it, just to feel better :) Chicken Pepper Fry was very ordinary, it wasn't a dry dish in the first place, and not very appealing too!
I would definitely order from here again, but stick to Biryani only !

One of the best Biryanis in Chennai.
The FOOD here, apart from being absolutely delicious, is almost always fresh and appetising. The Chicken 65 here is one of the best I had. The Biryani is slightly on the spicy side but it retains it's essence. The spice complements the flavour instead of covering up for the lack thereof. The mutton was cooked quite well, it was meaty and succulent but not one of my favorites.
The AMBIENCE is not what Salem RR Biryani is known for, having said that, all the tables were clean, the kitchen was clean too, everyone followed a strict uniform in the kitchen to maintain hygiene. Personally, places like this, despite their lack of fancy decorations and whatnot, have their own stylistic appeal which I prefer over the fancy decorations of fancier restaurants.
The SERVICE was as you'd expect from any good restaurant. There's nothing noteworthy to mention but there are no complains either. Everyone were polite in spite of being busy.
One has to try Salem RR Biryani at least once when in Chennai.

This place is one of the places to get the best mutton biriyanies in chennai. That biriyani was so delicious that you just cant stop eating there, the quantity is very generous and the the quality is top notch as said.
I ordered for chicken biriyani and chicken fried rice.
Chicken biriyani was good with good packing for curries.
Chicken fried rice was good too with fried egg.
Overall okay experience
This is a good place for persons who can eat a lot. They serve good quantity byriyani and the byriyani has good level of masala . Also tried there lappa. A good restaurant to close Ur hunger
Ordered mutton briyani via Uber eats ....food came on time....packing was good, wrapped in banana leaf... quantity was huge and mutton pieces were juicy and sufficient nos...taste was good,but rice was sticky...they should take care of it... otherwise it's good...
I had ordered for chicken briyani and the quantity and quality is good.this hotel is much suitable for hungers. Good job guys, keep it up. Good work.....................
A different type of Biryani, taste good but quantity has to be improved for money charged. Service is good but need to speed up, wait time for take away as to be reduced.
Mutton Biryani is unique with a boiled egg and raita. Chicken 65 was prepared fresh and good spice gives a nice taste. Would recommend for food lovers.
1 time I have tried RR BIRIYANI, Taste was Delicious, Unique taste , RR BIRIYANI has made my day. It's Quantity for that price two persons can eat one plate. Raitha & kathirikka thokku also had fantastic taste.
Chicken 65 Biryani was really good and loved it till the last bite. Ginger chicken was crispy and delicious. Overall quantity is worth the price and packaging is great.
I ordered Egg biryani with Tandoori piece using Uber Eats. They provided more rice with egg and two tandoori pieces along with raitha and curry. Taste of rice with pieces is delicious ππ. Coming to packaging they packaged using banana leaf with plastic cover with quality paper, so we can eat without plate also, package was average.
The taste of the briyani was not that much good , I had before. They have to reintroduce the briyani taste .
It is your best destination to taste the hot and spicy biriyani. The rice quantity will definitely satisfy you. The shop may be crowded with lots of biryani lovers so plan accordingly to get fast serve π
