We ordered from here on two consecutive days. Their pastries and cheesecake are really good. However, we were disappointed with the quality of the cheesecake that comes in a glass. The cheesecake had bits of paper in it. That was a sad lapse in quality. Having said that I’d still give them another try.
I've ordered the tiny cake which is an obvious irony because the slice is so large! The taste was impeccable and the quality of ingredients was rich. While the taste was great. The packaging was not tamper proof and it really looked the place or the delivery person couldn't be bothered with it. The other little cake I ordered was completely smudged and I chose not to eat it. If not for the packaging, it would've been a perfect 10.

Carbonara- yummy, perfectly balanced very nice flavour and super filling. The sandwiches and desserts are good too. But you cannot leave this place without having the really tiny chocolate cake. (Do not be deceived by the name) it's delicious and a must try for all the chocolate lovers.

I ordered for a steak with pepper sauce. I requested for vegetables instead of potatoes. The presentation was nice and the food was good. Except my meat had become a bit cold. I would have preferred it to be piping hot. Guess the food stayed in the kitchen counter much longer than it should have.
The clientale is a bit iffy. Loud patrons, bawling kids, unkempt, obese Swiggy deliver personnel sauntering in and out of the guest areas. Sandy could have a separate window for their delivery partners, it would greatly improve the visual hygiene, I felt.
Having said the above, food was superlative and I would forgive them for not compromising on quality. Kudos to the Chef.

Indulge your sweet desires at Sandy's.... We tried the Dark decadance and blueberry cheesecake which were fantastic... They also had a special of the day carried rainbow cake which was so so... Nonetheless it is a must visit place if you are into desserts

Indoor seating is cramped and gets too noisy because of echo. A/C is not adequate. Outdoor is Very nice but can get inconvenient if there are smokers. The chocolate desserts are one of the best, particularly the spicy chocolate drink.
Big philly cheesecake very rich and quite good.. good service. Nutella shot good.. nutella mousse cake good as well.. the tiny chocolate cake was not as great.. but still a really good bakery.. kudos!

Sandy's is one of the places in the city where you know you can eat to your heart's content and satisfy your sweet cravings. I've been to the Nungambakam branch very often so I wanted to give this branch a try once. I must say I was not disappointed with the place even one bit. I'm a bit apprehensive when visiting branches of a popular restaurant in the city because most of the times the branch restaurant ends up being a let down.
Here I felt like I was at the Nungambakam branch. The waiters were good and their service was prompt. We didn't have to wait for a long time to get our orders placed. The taste of the dishes were good. The fluffy pancakes, mac and cheese, fries everything were delicious. I even bought a jar of red velvet cake as a takeaway. Their alfredo pasta is one of the best in the city.
Sandy's is ways a must visit for any foodie!
I might have not been to the place, but I strongly, very strongly recommend you to order this "That really tiny chocolate cake 3.0". OMFG. To all those a bit of dark chocolate lovers? DO NOT WAIT. It might seem a bit expensive but worth it. Let me know if you can finish off this piece at one go as to justify the part "tiny".

I had to visit this place only because of my daughters who are real passionate about their chocolate needs. They literally love anything which is chocolaty and I had to take them to this place Sandy’s. Though I had not been to their Nungambakkam branch which has more positive reviews and has larger selection base, but this branch looks decently decor’d with eco friendly ambience. You will be welcomed with collection of books where you can pick one or donate a book of your choice (as per the disclaimer message). Then you enter the chocolate den which has good seating space for a typical crowd who engage in hotchy-potchy conversations. Since I had to go for a quick take away option, so I had immediately selected my options and came out in 20 min. They have limited parking space for cars and bikes. If it is full, then you will have to literally scratch your heads to find a place outside. Price wise it is little on higher side, but worth paying for the unique chocolaty taste you get here. This outlet should increase their selection base as compared to their Pilot branch.
Though this place is on the pricier side, it's completely worth it with its ambiance, taste and service. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is beautiful, the perfect setting for date nights. The service is exemplary in terms of speed, courtesy, knowledge and behaviour.
I prefer this branch more than their first branch in Nungambakkam, they have a nice quiet earthy vibe with the outdoor seating here. They also have a few tables inside. The menu remains the same. You have to try the tiny cake and the Mac and cheese with bacon. Really professional crew as well.
Was here yesterday for a few quick deserts . The white hot chocolate was surprisingly very good, way better than I had imagined !! The Nutella chocolate was average while the millionaires cheese cake was quite good .
Overall was a good experience !!!
A cozy place. Went with family. Ambience is good but if you sit inside then it may get noisy if it's crowded. Bruschetta, mezze as a starter were good. I loved the Thai yellow curry. Kids ordered Mac and cheese which was also good. Ordered 'Something chocolate' - dark and milk chocolate, which was yummy. Will definitely recommend.

Sandy's has been my go-to place. Love their desserts and milkshakes. My favourites are the tiny little chocolate cake, red velvet shake, chocolate marshmallow tart. The food is decent. Love their Mac and cheese. And if you go as a group do try the OMG! Little pricey but worth it.
My WiFe took me here and it was a peaceful setup.
The place is rightly named as Laboratory because evey juice, sauce or dip was a served in Borosil measuring jars. Very neat and clean and of course well thought.
Food was done really well and Pasta sauce was excellent.
Service was prompt and relaxed.
Pricing is on the higher side and God knows why a 600 pasta isn't served with Garlic bread as sides. It's chargeable despite a bomb for pasta
There is no doubt that I haven't eaten a better cheesecake than the one you get here. It's creamy, with an appropriate layer of blueberry on top, dense and leaves a lingering taste of cheese in your mouth. If you haven't tried it yet, PLEASE DO!!! The other piece of cake that we ordered was the Nutella Chocobar. I won't call it exceptional, but it was great too. Somewhere it tastes like black forest :)

There is nothing new or extra that I can add to the reviews of this place. I have been hearing about it for ages and this was my first visit to Sandys. Definitely worth the hype. We had a brownie, the nutella cheesecake I guess and a signature Hot Chocolate. All the items were amazing. Will be visiting this spot more often in the future.
Each and every restaurant is unique from one another. With this in mind, the most important factors such as soothing music, the decorative and structural representation could've been much better. But other than that, the overall experience was pretty decent. The desserts are the best in here. Special Mention are the tiny little chocolate cake and the triple chocolate brownie. The starters are not upto the mark, the garlic bread was not satisfying. The fries are average but the cheese which is spread over is extremely good.The cost of the restaurant is high and the ambience gives us a vintage feeling.

Visited this place on the recommendation of a colleague. Lunch on a Tuesday and the tables were almost all occupied. The ambiance of the place is strictly okay. Just a bunch of tables and chairs with no theme or personality.
The service is slow but the food was great. We tried the pesto grilled fish, the Cajun chicken and the peri peri prawns. The flavors were great with all and the food is well plated. Would definitely recommend trying it out!
The pastry is rightfully called 'Cant make up my mind'. For when in doubt and you can't decide between Cheesecake, chocolate brownie, and cookie, this pastry has layers of all three topped with tiny square chips of butter cookies.

Ambience - house converted into a restaurant / cafe. Outdoor seating is nice in the evening and better for bigger group. Indoor seating has about 4-5 tables. Restroom is neat enough.
Parking is not a big problem. 5 cars can be parked inside and remaining outside the establishment.
Service - kind and attentive staff.
Food - If you like continental breakfast, pasta, burger for your meal then you won't be disappointed. The desserts are really good. The tiny chocolate cake (sarcasm) tastes good and is enough for 2 people. Jars are good too. Bit pricey but if you like the kind of food you see on their menu then you should definitely try the place.
Cakes - I have ordered birthday cake from them twice and they don't disappoint. Red velvet, strawberry, chocolate flavor cakes are the best.
I am a frequent visiter to this outlet. Big time fan of chicken lasagna , triple chocolate brownie, sweet and salt fizzy lemonade. All three are awesome and must haves.

So on that particular day, I was craving for desserts, nil egg ( Pure Vegetarian here 🙋🏿♀️ but I assure you that there are limitless food options to explore in Veg itself and I'll put up really good ones 😉😄😁 ). I wanted to check out this place as I'd ordered previously from Sandy's, Nungambakkam during Christmas time.
Ambience - It was nice and more relaxing as I'd choosen outdoor dining.
Architecture and Interior - Mylapore Vintage and cool from the outside, the indoor dining area was not so good, reasons being bad lighting and not good choice of paints ( they can work on this ) but the cleanliness is maintained well in indoor and outdoor dining area. Outdoor dining area is for smoking as well, so kindly note it. Another point is that the outdoor dining area had a cute garden like spot where you can take amazing pics with your group of friends and family. Outdoor area was like a cute beach side setup with gold lights and flowers too! ❤️🌼

As you see in the pictures, from the sinful experiments - I chose Caramel Fudge Brownie ( beware of ordering this for home delivery though, I don't think they provide the fresh pieces. I don't mean to hurt but seriously this shop in this branch has to consider both the folks equally, that is, the home delivery folks = the folks who dine in. Just because a person orders it from home doesn't mean you give him or her the leftovers or expired ones. I had a bad experience twice with that and I hope they work on this issue ). In my dining experience, THIS WAS REALLY TASTY! ❤️❤️❤️ After that I had tried Funky Monkey from chocolate concoctions which was Super Yum! 🤩🤘🏿
Finally, with the grand awesome desserts done, I was happily drinking Sandy's iced indulgent mocha and again, bonus points for it( hot mocha also available ). 😄
So, it was evening twilight time that was chill with definitely the right kind of dessert choices and it was a good experience!

Hangouts for breakfast is the happening thing now, and it's great at Sandy's..... In the morning pleasing climate we ended up at teynampet Sandy's around 8 am, the food was so nice and fresh. We ordered a farm and English breakfast , pasta and some fries... The breakfast was so yummy and too filling with omelette , bread toast,hot beverage of our choice. We also got a fizzy lemonade which was given in goli soda bottle, it was so fancy.
Would surely recommend ppl the place for breakfast.

One of my all time favourite restaurants in the city! So much is said about their desserts- and they totally deserve it but their food is equally amazing! Whether its their breakfast options or their mains-every single dish is yumm! Do try their omelettes for breakfast - they are beautifully made! And of course, you can't leave the place without a dessert! I recently tried the flourless chocolate cake and it was insanely good! A must visit in Chennai!

So, I was here on a Saturday evening recently. First things first, I loved their outdoor seating area, but equally disliked the inside seating. It feels gloomy and dull. I wish they change it or make the place a bit cheerful or colorful !!
Now to the food...
Between me and my partner, we had a coffee, grilled cajun spice fish with roasted potatoes and the infamous tiny chocolate cake.
The coffee was good, though a tad too strong for my tastes. The winner was clearly the grilled fish, which had a perfect amount of seasoning, soft and perfectly grilled. It was served with a portion of roasted baby potatoes, greens and a garlic based dip.
That Tiny Chocolate Cake is not so tiny (for the newbies here) ;) It's quite the opposite and purposely named like that! Though, it was quite nice, I would have preferred less of the dark chocolate influence in it. Also, if you are calorie conscious, then suggest you go as a group of 4 inorder to enjoy it guiltlessly! Any less and it's gonna be too heavy on your stomach! ;)

The outdoor setting is beautiful with the lightings and table so perfectly arranged, it give a scenic view to the whole cafe. The food taste was awesome and I would personally recommend the Cheesecake. It was so good that we ordered it again after asking for the bill :D !!
(The outdoor setting lets people smoke if they wish, which might put off some people).
It's quite difficult to dine at Sandy's and leave without a feeling of divine satisfaction. Almost everything on the menu is tempting and makes me spend more than I usually intend to.
They offer both indoor as well as outdoor seating. The staff are very welcoming and friendly.
My usual choice is the steak and potatoes which they never go wrong with. One of the best places to get steak in this city. If you're in the mood to splurge, I would also recommend the pork belly. I also really loved their Mac and cheese. Simple but packed with flavour.
It is also impossible to leave without trying their tiny chocolate cake. You won't regret it.

One place that's consistent over the years. The food here had never disappointed me. If not great it's always been at least good. Anyone with a sweet tooth would love this place. As cliche as it may be, I love the tiny cake.

This is the perfect place for a dessert lover. I've been there a number of times . Their 'everything but' Is a must try. 'that really tiny chocolate cake' is also awesome. I have also tried their hot chocolate , aglio oglio , Mac and cheese , tiramasu and caramel shake. overall had a good experience . it's a perfect place to go and chill there on a weekend. The place is not so crowded .
Breakfast at Sandy's is one great way to start your day. Indoor and outdoor seating is available and I always choose outdoor seating here.
We chose the full English breakfast which includes toasts, 3 eggs cooked the way you prefer, one hash brown, chicken sausage/bacon (we chose sausage) and your choice of hot beverage. Toasts we're perfectly toasted, scrambled egg was perfection too! Hash browns were crispy and soft in the center we went ahead and ordered 3 more. Sausage was the best on the plate! Hot chocolate was creamy and super chocolaty - definitely only for hard core chocoholics!
Service was quick and the waiters here are always polite. I like the calm ambiance here especially in the outdoor seating. On the whole, VFM - 100%

The Arabiatta pasta was perfectly cooked with a sumptuous amount of delicious sauce. The tiny chocolate cake is a must-have and is a great dessert to complete a great meal.
C Ho Co La Te Ru S H is what you get when you are at Sandy's Chocolate Lab. A new menu has been introduced and it certainly has the capacity to delight every Chocoholic. The sweets are delightful and certify will want us wanting for more. Our favorite is the petit fours which are proof that great things come in small packages.
There is also an assortment of Pastas, Burgers, Sandwiches and other food items that are of good value.
Sandy's in Teynampet also has the added attraction of outdoor seating, which is really nice on a good day. However those who invite mosquitos a lot may find this a bit of a challenge in the evening time.
If you are celebrating someone's birthday you can either order a cake for delivery or book their party room and enjoy a good time.
Highly recommended.
Came here because I was leaving Chennai and it was a part of the bucket list. Took recommendations from a friend. Had the infamous cheesecake for like 350 bucks a piece and deemed it worth the money. Yeah there you go. We had the pista tart which was real nice with all the salted caramel. We had a spiced cocoa, best thing I've ever had. We had a mug dessert which was chocolate pudding, which was the most lack luster thing we ordered. Sandy's has a very old cottage cafe vibe. If it's not raining I recommend spending some time in the garden.
This place is one of my Favourite place in the town. There is this ♡ Tiny Chocolate cake 🍰 here which can make your day happier as it does mine 😉. Pasta and other quick bites are good too. This place secures top position in my recommendations.

I've heard about Sandys from my friends, colleagues and my fellow foodies, but I've never had the chance to visit them in the past. Fortunately, I was near by and so i visited sandys for lunch.
The ambiance is great, the menu is limited in terms of dishes but the desserts are what that matters. I ordered a Smoked chicken Burger and a Chocolate overdose.
The order took nearly 30 mins to reach the table but that wait was totally worth it. Smocked chicken burger was made of smocked chicken patty, tomatoes, onions, cabbage and bell peppers, served along with chilli French fries and coleslaw. The fries were amazing and the burger was really good. Chicken was cooked to perfection and the quality of the bun was good. Chocolate overdose was indeed a Chocolate overdose. Chocolate cake in it's purest form served along with a scoop of vanilla icecream and some cake crumbs, was a delight to feast. Every bite was something to cherish.
VISIT #2: Order a Chicken lasagna and A Chocolate Decadence. Chicken lasagna was great but needed tomato puree, not that Ketchup which they served in bottles. Chocolate decadence was chocolate brownie with white chocolate and icecream topped with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. It was amazing, all the dishes are soo heavy that completing a 3 course meal will lead to a full stomach.
The pricing is a bit on the higher side but the portions are generous. Lot of desserts to try and I'm really looking forward to my next visit. I recommend Sandys to everyone and i rate it 4.5/5

Sandy's located on Cenotaph Road, looks like an old house from the outside. This used to be a regular haunt of mine during my college days. I visited with a friend a couple of days back and honestly, the place has not lost its charm.
They have outdoor seating also which is great for bringing a date. The ambiance inside the restaurant is kept simple and the chairs are of different colors. So there is nothing fancy here, just a minimalistic design keeping to the basics.
The cuisine is Continental and Italian and the dessert scene is amazing. We ordered two portions of fish finger, and later, grilled fish with lemon butter sauce, cajun spiced grilled chicken and chicken lasagna.The service was quick and I would like to thank Mr. Paul who waited on us. The fish finger tasted great as usual, perfect with tangy tartar sauce and drizzled in olive oil.
We then went for Dark Decadence, which was outstanding in taste. It was served with vanilla bean ice cream and dark chocolate. The Nutella Tiramisu, being our favorite was the final dessert of the evening. It was made to perfection with a great balance of the two stark flavors and the combination came out well.
The pricing is justified, and the experience was excellent. This is one of the best restaurants in the city for great conversations and appetizing food.

It was an amazing experience with my friends! The ambience was great! The mac and cheese pasta was too good! So were the other dishes we ordered! The deserts the shakes were mind blowing! Good service also!
Will definitely visit more and will recommend it to many!
I was here for a morning breakfast. My choice of food was the full English breakfast. I ordered brown bread, baked beans, chicken sausage, hash brown and hot chocolate. Apart from baked beans the rest all tasted and cooked well. The place was very quiet and calm since it was a weekday and morning. They have both outdoor and indoor dining but I wouldn’t recommend the outdoor dining as I had a bad experience with the flies and the mosquitoes lined up around me. The staffs were friendly and service was cool. This is a house turned to a cafe and located in the residential area.

Easily one of my favourite spots in Chennai for dessert. We had the Sandy's Signature Hot Chocolate (Classic), Milkshake (Milk chocolate) and Brownie Shocker between 3 people and it was heavenly. Special mention to the hot chocolate which is one of the best I've ever had, and is close to an Italian hot chocolate in consistency with a taste combining milk chocolate and Biscotti. Very nice atmosphere inside and the valet parking service was appreciated since this is located on a busy road. Definitely will come back!
My daughter found this restaurant from Google and ordered chicken wings, hot dogs and a beef burger. However, the beef had changed its taste. Perhaps it was due to storage issues that caused the beef to be stale, so we did not eat it. I hope the store can guarantee the quality of the meat.
Food was yummm.. Had the ravioli which was smash outta the world, Peri peri wings of the wings fest were good but too heavy, chicken samosa, hot chocolate, milo tiramisu n tiny choc cake shake were okay. Cool ambience with valet parking

One of the low-key spots in Chennai which serves amazing meat over the years. I'm chained to their consistency owing to their meat's taste, be it chicken or beef. WOW!!
Garlic bread - Buttery french baguette bread which went well with the gravy of beef 😊
Chef's chili beef - One of the best beef I've ever tried in town; saucy, and crispy on the outside while juicy and succulent on the inside, SO SMOOTH!! 🤩🤩
Thai yellow chicken curry - Mild spiced coconut milk curry with baby potatoes and tender chicken; the meat was perfectly cooked and with the fragrant rice, this is a perfect gravy 😚😚
Louisiana fried chicken burger - Crispy chicken tossed in local style with spicy sauce, lettuce, and a side of fries; perfect size which aided in equal distribution of flavors across the mouth along a single bite, OH WOW!! 😍😍
Bacon, egg, croissant - Layered croissant with smoked bacon and eggs; that crispy yet sweet meat with the pastry layers, OH SO GOOD!! 😊
Sandy's indulgent hot chocolate - SO THICK and rich from the chocolate, damn sweet, and keeps on a high; MUST TRY when it's hot!! 🥰🥰
Aussie latte - Dark espresso with a thin layer of foam on top, a strong blend on the whole, GOOD!! 😇
All fluffy - The best hot chocolate ever!! Damn sweet, thick, fluffy from the torched marshmallows on top, WOW!!! 😚😚
They have enough parking space but valet parking is also available. Ample seating space in their indoor seating and soothing decor make it convenient based on any weather.
Their service is always commendable with suggestions based on one's mood, KUDOS to that. Not much of a waiting time but their prices have always made me rethink, could be a tad bit economical.
Love this Sandy’s. Perfect to sit outside on a cooler day, do work, read and enjoy a delicious meal. Love their steak the most. Sandwiches are great too!
I had only a type of chocolat fondant they call dit DIPme. It was served with a scoop of ice-cream. Also had a properly made cortado. All served in beautiful cutlery.

Went here to try their Full English Breakfast set and it was very hearty. Loved their Coffee. The Waffles weren't quite fluffy as I expected them to be but it went along very well with the choco syrup. Their Crispy Jalapenos and Cheesy Ravioli served with the Tomato Salsa was top notch.

We walked in for dinner on a Sunday night and were able to get seating immediately. We chose to sit in the outdoor area as the ambience was very inviting. Soft lights, pleasant colours , good music. However we got bitten by mosquitoes. The staff tried to make us comfortable by lighting incense sticks to keep away the mosquitoes. That didn’t help and we moved to the a/c restaurant.
We ordered a farm fresh all day breakfast and a Louislana fried chicken burger. The farm fresh breakfast came with eggs , toast , mushroom spinach , hash brown ,baked beans and a beverage. The omelette was extremely soft and delicious. The mushroom and spinach was perfectly seasoned and the bread was their in house special . I opted for hot chocolate . It is the best hot chocolate that I’ve had till date !!!
The Louisiana fried chicken burger was very good, it had a pickle on the top and lettuce with sauce in the middle, I did not opt for the add on served with fries. It is what you consider a perfect burger.
Parking facilities are available in front of the restaurant. Valet take care of parking the vehicle if the parking in front is full.
What an awesome morning experience, such kind pleasant staff. The food was mind blowing and everything we ordered was excellent… we will definitely visit every time we get a chance. Very well organized place and thanks for giving us a great experience
Sandy’s - been to their Nungabakkam branch. This outlet has open ambience for relaxed meeting with friends. The food was delicious. I really love their dessert and cakes. The Sandy’s indulgence hot chocolate & tiny little chocolate cake is must try here. We also ordered their buffalo wings, Panko chicken,Cajun spiced grilled chicken for main & nutella chocobar. Few dishes were bit overpriced for the quantity provided but trust me you wont be disappointed.
