Great food , very courteous staff , would like to mention Mr Naresh who took great care of us . Items in food I liked- methi murg, crispy corns , tangri kabab and mutton seekh . Addionally Shahi tudka and kulfi in sweets were great.

Barbecue nation rarely disappoints. But somehow I feel after absolute barbecue has entered the original guy has failed to live up to expectations. The items are still good. The buffet is an after thought though and even desserts are so so. The highlight would be starters and live counter. Service needs improvement.

This place exceeded my expectations . The dishes were pretty delicious from starters to desserts. Both Veg and Non-veg were equally good and ambience was pretty good. Shahi Tudka and Gulfi dipped in rabriย hits the sweet spot. Though the dosas from counters could have been made better, the place is must to try.ย The service was pretty good and the complementary drinks (especially 'Lovely Mojitto') were really good.
It's a nice place for get-together. Nice ambience. Place is very clean. Non veg Starters are good, however no variety on veg starters only paneer is good. Honeydip pineapple is awesome don't miss that. Fish and Prawn in good quality. Table incharge Prakash done a great job. Buffet spread is very normal. Live dosa counter is awesome. Live Gulfi counter is yummy. Dessert spread needs to be imprve, only jamun and one cake is good. Brownie quality needs to be improve. End with cake cutting for get together is good. Live music make the place very pleasant. Her voice is too good. Parking is good however it very steep.

Undoubtedly the best service I've received in the recent times. Right from time we entered till the time we finished, the waiters and the managers were very friendly and accommodating and kept checking on the food. I'd give a 5 star rating for the food. Alas, I couldn't say the same for the food though. Apart from the excellent starters, the buffet food was average. The dosas in the live counter were very dry. However, the desserts very terrific and the kulfi counter was good too.
P.S.- I was so impressed with the service that we tipped them 100 bucks, but as a policy, they don't accept tips it seems and returned the money.
Overall, it was a lovely experience.

Coming to parking its comfortable and spacious...next the ambience of the reataurant is spacious and comfy....first thing I would like to appreciate is their hospitality towards their customers...manager and every service person was too hospitable and they too utmost care of each and every customer who steps in....I thank Mr joy who helped us and was too kind...chef Mr sardar came inbetween and asked about the dishes and also asked any dish require any improvement....every single individual in the restaurant was too caring and before you ask for anything it will be placed in front of you on the table....service was too good more than a star category hotel...keep up the good work guys.....
Now coming to food all were too good and delicious....they served chicken, fish,prawn, potatoes,panneer, mushrooms,corn,chicken leg piece, mutton sheekh kebabs, corn fries on the table...then welcome drink which was limited also served on the table...live counters different dosa varities,chat items,omlete were prepared....salads chick peas,onions,sprouts etc..more i couldn't remember much....in maincourse kashmiri pulao,dhal makhni, luck now veg biryani ,some gravies, kofta curry,luck now mutton dum biryani, chicken biryani which is made out of siraga samba rice,boiled egg gravy,mutton gravy,chicken gravy and some more were there...coming to desserts every sweet was too good brownie, different types of pastries, gulab jamoons, kheer, five to six different types of kulfis,falooda and 4 different flavours of ice creams...
Coming to price it's nominal....on the whole it was a wonderful experience and worth every penny we spend.....dont miss their hospitality it was a motherly feel....best place to visit with your family friends and colleagues.....

The only differentiator at these restaurants should be the taste of the main course and variety of dishes available
Barbeque nation offered us a wide range of dishes being ramadan season Haleem,raan and veg seekh kebab on the live counter all these were authentic in flavour but the taste was average
Two types of Biryani were served the thalapakatti style(seeraga samba rice)and the usual basmati rice style both biryanis tasted very bad the Indian breads were hot and crispy the Gravies were average
The starters served on the live grill were just exceptional and we customised the starters according to Our wish like we wanted the prawns to be a bit spicier

Barbeque nation Nungambakkam has amazing food, service and ambience. The starters are excellent. The main course and desserts are also delicious. Itโs a great place to visit as family, friends etc. It is vegetarian friendly and is easy to locate in Nungambakkam. Mr. Bibhs provided excellent service and was very friendly.

We celebrated a professors birthday here and tasted the best barbecues ever . It was the first ever time that I have been to this place and felt the rate of the grills are really good . Earlier to any hotel I went , it felt all over cooked and burnt but this was the first ever time smoked food seemed extremely delicious . The buffet was a great deal though . So many option my tumm couldn't fit in all the dishes but will surely visit the next time to eat the other desserts etc .
Been here twice now and I love the food and fast service! The staff always have a smile on their face and are quick to keep serving the barbeque items. Their buffet items pale in comparison but their live kulfi station makes up for it!ย

I visited BBQ today afternoon and had a grand lunch. Staff Palash Sekh has shown at most care and concerns during the entire time that we spent in BBQ. He advised us to take all tasty items and in fact we felt that as if we have come to family member house. Very good hospitality and service. Nice ambience and all staffs are service oriented and friendly. With this of kind of staffs and tasty food there is no doubt that BBQ is a unique place to eat.
Palashsekh service was really great and was up to the best satisfaction level. All the restaurant staff was friendly and was active on their best part.

Had the best evening in a long time. Lovely courteous and well trained staff. We were very well taken care of. They offered us customised food and we loved it. Our go to place any time. Mr. Palesh Sekh did an amazing job. We enjoyed our kulfi that Naresh prepares for us. Sam was the manager who also added to our lovely experience. We are so much that we couldnโt move let alone walk. We sat after the place almost closed. Very few places that give this feel good experience with such prices. Hoping that the chef and the people working here reach heights.

Though we hadn't reserved the table, they were able to accommodate us when we walked-in today. Being fans of BBQ nation, all of us were happy. The grills were as usual good. Fish grill and mutton shekh kebab needs a special mention. Paneer grill was good too. Briyani had a perfect blend of spice and salt. Dessert spread was nice and pan kulfi tasted nice too. Overall, nice experience and good service.
If it's BBQ, the default choice is always Barbeque Nation for me. I tried their recent Last Blast Food Festival, with a year end special. The spread included some additional items like chats, Dahi Papdi Chat, Pani Poori, Fried Rice, Noodles among others.
The starters included Chatkari Paneer, Spice Grilled Veg, Honey Chilli Potato, Crispy corn. Service was 5/5 and I even got a dish completely remade when I said it was not spicy enough. Definitely one of their highlights is the service.
The Last Blast festival is till Jan 6th. So give it a try before that.

We were at Barbecue nation to experience the The Last Blast 2018 festival which runs until 6th of Jan where Bbq nation has added a few live counters for the fest. Like Live Wok , chaat and mocktail counters.
The service needs a mention here as they were quick in getting the grills and orders to the table. Repeatedly asked for customisations if need be to the dishes according to our spice threshold.
Starters on the grill were delicious as usual. Pineapple was my favourite and not paneer this time.
Appetisers from the kitchen were Cajun spiced potato , chilli cheese fingers , crispy corn and kebab. Cajun spiced potato and corn were the best of the lot and called for another round.
They have live starter section as well. We had Paneer 65 and chilly paneer were from the new menu.
My favourite counters were the live wok and chaat counter. We had the pani puris and Dahi puri. Puris were ready to cook ones and melted in my mouth. Pani was so fresh and spicy, no complaints on the dahi puri as well.
Wok counter has veg and non veg fried and noodles. We tried the veggie fried rice which was flavourful and yum.
Also most barbecue concept restaurants fail terribly in the main course. But I was pretty impressed here with the main course.
Dal makhni and paneer tikka masala with garlic naan had to be my favourite.
Malai Kulfi with toppings to finish off the meal.
The fest goes on until 6th Jan.
Must pay a visit for the elaborate spread and delicious food!

We had an amazing experience at Barbeque Nation, Nungambakkam yesterday as we celebrated Christmas with dinner here.ย
They have special addition to menu as well as very special timings for the festive season.โจWe learnt that Barbeque Nation will celebrate โThe Last Blast 2018โ - a food extravaganza from 11 am to midnight from 28th Dec to Jan1st.
Special mention to the awesome hospitality, wherein they took extra care to make sure it was a special dinner, with so many of the staff members approaching and checking with us what we want, sharing information about the food and making sure we were comfortable. One of the USPs here is the flexibility and eagerness to provide customised food, just share how you would like your grilled food or the other dishes, and they are more than happy to serve the same. The team reiterates this and stands true on it.ย
We started with some Pain Puris from the Live chat counter. I have to say that I hadn't expected the Pain puris to be this good. The tiny puris were too yummy.ย
From the Live counter, we also enjoyed the Kotthu Parotthas, made street style.ย
The starters, and especially the grills were brilliant. It was indeed a great dinner with tasty food and perfect hospitality, no exaggeration there. The veg as well as non food were great. I would be partial towards the non veg as I loved all the chicken starters, especially the Punjabi Tandoori Tangdi Kebab. In veg the crispy corns were awesome.ย
Amongst grills, I tried only non veg and I loved the fish and peri peri chicken the most. The prawns were ok.ย
You can add garnish from the three options there, for that extra flavour or ask them to get a customised marinating or heat level. Thereโs soup too, which was good. I had the egg drop chicken soup. Liked the spice levels here.ย
ย We were quite full with all these. Took a tiny break, attended the Chirstmas cake cutting ceremony and then went on the maincourse buffet. Thereโs salads, papad pickles and an array of veg and non veg dishes. I stuck to non veg and tried the two types of biryanis. The butter naan was quite good. The non veg curries were quite varied and rich.ย
Coming to desserts, again quite a few options, from gajar ka halwa, mini gulab jamuns to quite a few colourful pastries. There were brownies with chocolate sauce and that XโMas cake was nice. But what took my heart was the Paan Kulfi, which was the perfect end to a fabulous meal. The thin shaped, well frozen kulfis, which are chopped into even smaller pieces taste absolutely of paan. This is topped with real gulkand and Bombay paan masala. Everything together is just like have a chilled paan.ย
The mocktails too were on point.ย
Only feedback that I always to any grills place is, please go slow whileserving the starters and rills. Pls do not serve all at once. I understand the motive is to get the diner to taste everything, so we can share what we want customised to repeat. โจOverall, an amazing festive dinner for us.
This is the second time I was here, but the 1st time with my family.
To begin with the service is very amazing, the people serving you there is polite, takes in your feedback and gets it fixed in your next serving. There was a situation where my brother wanted Tawa Roti and they weren't serving it there, so the manager gets upto to the chef and gets the Tawa Roti done especially for us, would like to thank him (Kundu) for that.
It's worth the money you pay!

Having dined at Barbeque Nation earlier, the food tastes pretty much the same at all outlets, but this one at Nungambakkam has something special about it. The waiters here are AMAZING. Ask for - Giresh, Sajjad Ali & Pradibtio they are the best guys in town serving food. We have never dined at a restaurant which has taken care of us like 'Baraties'! I had a very good experience here. I got the table without any reservations since I visited on a weekday. The food was good. Loved the starters over everything. The service was very good The staff were very welcoming and responded very well. Just a bit disappointed with the dessert section as the quality was very less compared to other unlimited buffets. It costs 680 including taxes per person on a weekday.
A quiet lunch during weekday. Plenty of varieties in starters. Main course is simple and to the point. It's optimized. Overall good ambience and service.

After briefly stopping at Bombay Brasserie and checking out the menu, we ended up at BBQ Nation. We were seated immediately upon arrival and they proceeded to take orders, give clarification on what is available etc. Soon after the hot charcoal firebox was placed on the table and food started arriving. The potatoes fritters as starters was a different experience, some liked it and some didn't. The chicken on the skewers were tiny bits and so are the fish. The shrimps are smaller but not tiny and the chicken kebabs are cut up and brought to the table. They had a hardly discernable taste.
As the 4 of us continued to wolf down the proteins with hardly any carbs or veggies, we decided to check out the salad bar and the rest of the buffet. They also have curd rice to finish off the main course as is the tradition in South. Then there is the desserts section with several Indian sweets and fresh fruits. For the diet conscious, this is certainly a big temptation. In the drinks menu they have several mocktails and I had the Pina colada which is very good.
The waiters are a very patient and tolerant bunch as they withstood the constant and omnipresent criticism from my friends. The only reason I am giving one less is for the lack of variety in taste of the various foods as the same spices and taste is common between fish, chicken and shrimps. Also there is no red meat like goat or lamb.
Their malai kulfi is good as are some of the other desserts items.
Very friendly staff and the service was amazing. Delicious foods, and constantly refilled. Biriyani, cripsy corn is a must try apart from all the starters.
Another decent barbecue spot. Nice ambience, polite staff and quality food. It has a good parking facility, which is a must on that road๐. Kind of felt a delay on serving the starters and that is a point of improvement.
