This is my 5th time,I really love service and music,this time in try the flam tower it was really good.
Overall good,the way to approaching the guest it was superb cocktail was really good taste I will order pina colada it was a good garnished and color also awesome,we will try few foods only this time but I really come back Diff 42 again.

I love its ambience. You can have a gala time with friends drinking and grooving to music . It’s not highly priced and is a budget bar . So you should definitely go and see how you actually feel about the bar because I definitely had a good experience.

As i m from. Mumbai so i like to do party on Saturday night..
So i was near by this place.. I went..
They were not allowing after 10pm to enter inside the lounge..
It was strange to me.. Like i thought it will be full or more crowded thats why..
And somehow after discusing with bouncers and manager they allow me to have some dinner..
And the moment i entered music was loud.. I was excited.. But almost half of the place was empty..
Songs and music was good..
So i have just ordered pizza and coke.. I was expecting good crowd..
The food was also good..
But i was in mood of party so i didnt liked much..

Mangolian hot pepper chicken wings: Good: Chicken wings infused with nice marination, tasted yum.
French Cheese Sticks: Average: Was good in taste, Cheese were not melted, was quite hard.
Chicken Romaneo: Good: This particular was under diff 42 steak, chicken was good to taste succulent, pasta were cooked perfect, grilled veggies were good except French beans they were old n chewy. Was good plate of stake thought could not figure it out were the prawn stuff was.

Well it was lunch with my gals after movie in PVR, and this place was near we dint wanted to travel needed some drinks so thought of trying out the place. Ambiance was good dark well interior best for couple dine out. Yup it was afternoon so I guess the crowd was less( we were the first one) we ordered our drinks three of them and food together, it was servered but they missed on one drink completely later we let it go and cutlery were not provided properly needed to ask them, steak was not served with knife n fork. We just let it go again as we were hungry. Point is it was afternoon the crowd was almost zero and they actually tend to forget basic things. Would really want them to check on it.. Rest staff were friendly and food was good.

Parking space is there. The location is pretty ok. It's a decent place with decent crowd. Very loud good music. The snacks are good. Drinks are good. Overall a decent place to spend Saturday night at.
Very nice experience and it's completely dark thar gives a cozy feeling! Definitely yummy food and special mention about the presentation of food the anesthetics blends well with the food!

Located near Vijaya Nagar Bus stand, reaching here would be a challenge because of the traffic.. Coming to the place, they have a nice setup in the basement, the interiors are nice but little more light would be more nice cause Its quite dark.. We ordered
1.Hot & Sour Chicken soup
2. Garlic Bread
3.Chicken tikka
4.Nasi Goreng
Coming to the soup, I personally didn't liked it much, it was watery and the taste was not so great.. Garlic bread they served 3pieces with some cheese and seasoning was tasting good.. Chicken Tikka was a hit with all the right flavors.. Nasi goreng an Indonesian dish at the rate of 400inr was worth the money, they serve seasoned rice(something like a fried rice), salad, bulls eye omlette, prawns in skewers.. It had all the right flavors, saluted in coconut oil and a ping of dry fish taste(they say its because of the seasoning).. At last I would give a 4star to this place..

It was unplanned visit. I am quite surprise to see this in Velachery . Starting valet parking to separate smoking area , all were good.

Place is perfect for hanging especially because you get a tower beer and the non veg platter was laid out good as well I only gave a 4 because music was kinda boring since they only had old collection but the beats and ambience is nice.
This place is just apt for stress busters..! The food is delicious which makes you grab couple of more drinks. I love their food & ambience, when I talk about food I must tell you about their service. Their service is kick ass, they are very polite and ever ready including the bartenders..! Last but not least their manager Vinod is the king of all. He knows how to gather people with good reputation and keep the trouble at bay. This is truly a best & safest place for friends & couples, who could throw their hands in the air for fun and frolic.

The drinks are good, but the food is great! I can visit this place again and again just for their starters. A little costly though. So check out their cocktails during the happy hours - go for Long island and Bull frog. In starters, Chilly loose prawns is highly recommended!

Love their music and food. I liked their garlic bread. You could also order a large pint for your table. The service is quick even though it is hugely crowded. Best to see a cricket match, the energy is good. Do keep in mind that their is a dress code for the guys, so no slippers. Wear shoes if you do want in
This is my 6th or 7th visit here , time for a review .For a craft beer lover like me from Bangalore Diff 42 works! Been drinking beer all the over the world and the only place that sucks is Chennai. But Diff 42 changed that for me . The choice of beer on tap is awesome! Heineken, Edelweiss, Kf , BE, Hoegaarden (bottle) Sol n Corona (bottle) the list goes on. Staff were helpful, special mention to Vinod the manager very professional and courteous. The Decor was a little dull , food was ok , chicken tikka was good . Definitely a gr8 spot for beer lovers who r starved in Chennai for good beer on tap! Hope you guys keep the beer taps running on full !!! Would have given 5 stars if the food and decor were better.

1.Indo Mexican BBQ chicken - this was so good. My fav
2. Schezwan chilly fish - good one
3. Crispy lamb chilly pepper - this was okay I felt lamb was little hard
4. Herby prawns - this was very different deeply oil cooked with mild sweetish flavour and too much bread crumbs to hold on meat. Can try this out.
Drinks :

3. absolute vodka
4. Barcardi
For cocktails, I felt that base alcohol percent was less so more tasted like fruit juice

Me and my friend visited Diff 42 yesterday , the place was easy to find and the staffs were courteous , we had cocktails and few beers , they were good and price is nominal , no big names in the menu , contemporary drinks . We ordered the following1.Crispy chilly baby corn , which was good would rate 4/5 2.Thai BBQ honey pepper chicken - Most of the pieces were bone , which i wouldnt prefer to be a good accompaniment while having a drink , the plating was good . However missed the Thai flavour in it . Had a good amount of BBQ sauce which i liked , but the bones made it a bad choice of my order Would rate 2/53.Szechwan chicken fried rice - Dint taste good , would say bad .Would rate 1/5The food came quick and on time . Plating was decent .Suggestion :1. It would be good if the chicken are boneless in the dishes 2. Certainly improvise the Fried rice - Qty is fine , Qlty and taste needs serious improvement 3. Food was great. All the veg and non veg starters are so good. The dance floor weren't that great. They just showed a corner when asked for dance floor and dj wasn't good as well.
One of the good hangout place for the girls' gang for decent food with awesome drinks at a very affordable rate..Thumps up to the location as well where we get the public transport and the cabs at any point of time....

Me being a “not so party” type person diff 42 was at its best. It is located at the Velachery junction, easy to find but difficult to park as it is exactly located at the signal itself. Looks like a usual pub but with a way better organised seatings that gives better privacy between tables. I went on their 3rd anniversary on a free invite from the DJ, otherwise they follow strict reservation policies. Always book for a table an hour before. Coming to food, they have good choices of finger foods and a very less options on sizzler(precisely 2) and other continental food. Pricing of Cocktails and mocktails were reasonably lesser than few other resto-lounges. A good place for a budget party.
Food tastes good but they can improve on the quantity as per the value. Drinks are affordable and there is a wide variety of booze available. DJ is good too and ambience is correct for a pub.

Visited this place with friend for lunch after we came to know about the Combo Meal. Ordered oriental and continental combo with few mock tails like lychee and pine. The Food was simply great. It had a small portion of rice, cooked vegetables and a big portion of meat with gravy on it. One side the food was good and different other side the mock tail was well mixed(I am a mock tail lover) also to our surprise they provided brownie and cake. Must try food combo for a nominal price(350/-) We had good time watching tv and chatting.

This place gives you the best in terms of ambience. The music is outstanding. The only problem here is the dance floor. The place is too congested to accomodate a huge crowd.

Pre-Booking is very much recommended.Nice Place.They have sitting partition for stags and couples.Small dance floor is there but only couples are allowed to dance. DJ was playing some good mixes. It's bar counter is very attractive.Large Projector are there for live streaming matches or Playing music.This places attracts crowd on weekends.Bar menu and food menu both was awesome.Food tasted really good. We took Kulcha,butter nan,butter paneer,dal makhni and chikcen 65 with draught beer.Staff were courteous.When DJ starts tuning , atmosphere becomes very live.Enjoy food , liquor and music in DIff 42.Thanks.

An excellent neighborhood restobar at Vijaya Nagar, Velachery this one is boon to office goers & IT employees. Despite noisy /busy traffic just outside the premises, this basement restobar provides a very calm/serene ambience with excellent choice of liquor and wide resturant menu including cocktail snacks / main course.

Good place with great food and reasonable price . We didn’t have a reservation. The manager made us wait to check to see if there are tables available and called us in . Guess what , half the tables were unoccupied. They should avoid such behaviour. Rating 5 stars in spite of this for the food and price
