We visited this place during Dineout GIRF Festival. I absolutely loved the ambience. The variety of food was also good. We even tried mocktail and it was amazing. According to me it is a must try place if you are looking for a good themed buffet restaurant.

So we went for the dinner since we were our anniversary and wanted to try out new place and we decided to go black pearl and it turned out to be the best dining. Awesome experience with good service and good food. I will definitely recommend this place.

The food was delicious and the ambience was great. It was fun to bring kids. The concept resembles the barbecue nation. The staffs were little slow, but that gives you time to enjoy your surroundings. It was a great experience with the live music. Pirates Theme is something new in Chennai.
Huge place.. I think it can easily accommodate 100 people dining.. all starters were good.. though the main dishes weren't that engaging.. desserts were limited but tasty.. live grill was okish.. Pirates theme was fantastic.. loved it !! And would definitely recommend

One fine hot afternoon we went to have our buffet meal. Found the place to be crowded but by the time we left it got almost free. First of all the thing that I noticed was it's too big and can accommodate a good number of customers at a time. Secondly the thing that is obvious to attract the attention is the theme. Wow!!
Jack Sparrow fans will be super happy to be in this place and surely the kids would enjoy the most here. Even we became so excited by the decor. So lovely, so nicely arranged everything. They even have live band performances which adds an extra star for them. They even have a separate selfie place, pirate hats and many more to enjoy!!! Starters were awesome and more in varieties. Veggies and nonveg both will be happy with the food and desserts were all yummy.

Super cool place now in Chennai. I was a big fan of zblack pearl Bangalore. This themed restaurant gives a full experience for a laid out team lunch. The line up of food is amazing and the taste is definitely above the notch. Fun place to click funny pictures.
One of the best theme restaurant I would say. Best place to hang out with your friends or family. Ambience is really great. they have done a wonderful job kudos to that👍👍 Coming to food - starters are good not sooo great but you will like it. They also do have rabbit and other sea food counters. You can try all starters. It is different and taste good too. Desserts are also really good they do have many varieties. Please try and don't miss it. It will available on the main road so it's very easy to identify from normal traffic and they so have lot parking structure.
Just go and enjoy. They also do have light music which was really great.
An amazing pirate themed restaurant in OMR Chennai. Loved the ambience totally. From the lightings to the decor.. from the props to the selfie section.. it was amazing. Even the waiters were dressed as pirates. There was a live singing performance when we visited the place. The food is good too. Similar to any other barbeque place. It had few additional items like potato tornado, kuzhi paniyaram etc etc. The service is a bit slow. They weren't able to manage crowd.

Black Pearl it suits the name very well, the environment is like in a pirates ship with all the ropes hanging like ship is sailing. Food is very delicious and kids will love because everyone can wear a pirate hat. I enjoyed it and would suggest for weekend plans ..

It has an ambience of Pirates of Caribbean.
Each table is fitin with live grill one can choose the grill from veg to non veg and it's a buffet cuisine.
It has both Veg and Non-vegetarian varieties.
They have very good Dessert varieties , salads and mocktails too.
They have live singer which brings more life to this place.
Service was good too.
My only dislike was that mutton curry only had bones and there could be more variety on desserts.
If you are a foodie, definitely have this place on your check-list. Lots of varieties and especially the sea food items were too good. I liked the octopus and the prawns more. Starters well okish. And yup the pirate theme is really unique and very eye-catchy. They have a separate space for selfies(very small though). Desserts were also equally good and yeah tons of varieties there as well. The service was on spot and they also had live singing show as well wherein the customers could request their favourite songs to be sung.(kudos for that).Its bang on OMR right at the Sholinganallur signal, so no problems for routing to the restaurant. Overall too many pros for this place to avoid it from your dining wishlist. A huge 👍 from me.
Food is great and ambiance is good but there are many people at single slot. If you are going for office lunch then you can opt this place but if you want a romantic dinner or lunch I won't suggest this place. But the pirate theme is so good. There is selfie zone where we can take selfies with pirate hat.
I am giving 4* only for the ambience. The theme decoration was so pirate based. Especially the selfie booth was very thoughtful.
Coming to the food, it was not different from another barbeque based food joints. Vegetarian options were quiet less. A little more magic to your food spread will make a extra pump to this experience.

Have you ever wanted to have a meal with pirates? (Who doesn't?) You can do just that at The Black Pearl. Spread across a sprawling 12,000 square feet, this restaurant is gargantuan. You are welcomed by Jack Sparrow, Hector Barbossa, and Davy Jones, of course. Skeleton heads, large vintage golden chandeliers, a stage with a huge octopus, what's not to like at this restaurant?
There's a photo corner where you can sit on an electric chair (oh, we are just kidding) and the beheading spot. Coming to the food, their buffet is equally massive and filling. With live counters for - chat, pizza, grills, they have a lot to choose from. This place is a meat lovers haven, other than chicken and meat, they have options like eel, octopus, and rabbit. You read that right!
Their starters are the best. We recommend you to try their Jamaican Crispy Potato and Atishi Aloo as part of the vegetarian starters. Do try their Chef Special Mutton Seekh, Achari Fish and Peri Peri Prawns. They also have a live barbeque grill on each table. Expect mushrooms, gobi, aloo, pineapple, corn for the vegetarians. Non-veg eaters can binge on any meat to be grilled and served. Ask for your choice of bread and pair it with a plethora of sides - Paneer Kurchan (typical Paneer di sabzi - spicy and goes well with the bread), Aloo Gobi Adraki (one of the best of the lot), Dhaba Gosht (the chicken pieces are to die for), and Egg Korma (spicy gravy).
For dessert, they have kheer, jelebi, chocolate cookies, and cakes. The buffet begins from INR 625 onwards. For veg and for non veg imr 725 onwards
We hear an open a rooftop bar with the biggest dance floor in Chennai is opening here soon, yay!

Food and spread for buffet is good. Nice ambience. live counters, good desserts and starters. Incoming Customers need managed well so that it does not seem so crowded. The wait for a table despite reservation, and the crowd is a downside.
Usually we cannot expect good main dishes in buffet. But here, main dishes also taste good.
