I ordered Thai crispy chicken, burnt garlic and spring onion chicken fried rice, mixed vegetable shashlik, Tom Yum soup, tender coconut souffle. Everything was excellent ,however it was mentioned spicy below the thai crispy chicken but it tasted sweet. But overall the food was awesome, especially the fried rice. Everyone enjoyed the fried rice a lot. The delivery was also good and the packaging was also good.
Found this place under the suggestions tab!! So decided to give it a try !!

Tried both continental and pan Asian food here and definitely not disappointed with either. The Sirloin steak was good with sufficient sauce for the portion served. I don't like spicy food at all however the beef rendang was sooo good although it was way too hot for me, I couldn't stop eating it as it was amazing. The meat and spices all cooked to perfection. The ingredients used in almost all the dishes( except seafood) I can say is of very good quality for instance the cuts of beef and the chocolate sauce. I've never ordered take away from here.
But have been here for a few lunches and definitely experienced soul food at the dining here.

One of the first late night takeaway spots in Chennai. Lost count on the number of early morning Iâve got take away or my food delivered! They are open till 4 am. And serve pretty decent food at that hour. The Godfather pizza quality has gone down over the years. What I would definitely recommend is the hot and crispy beef and the golden fried prawns is a must try. Ambience is pretty basic.
I havent been to this place yet. But I have ordered food from home through zomato. Food taste is excellent! But the only thing I got disappointed was the way it was delivered... steaming hot tenderloin in a PLASTIC container! Kindly switch over to any health- friendly and eco friendly substitutes such as paper or bamboo containers. I dont want to buy deadly diseases like Cancer by buying your food! Thank you!

A fortnight ago, my friends and I got out on a night out. At 2.30 a.m, we started to feel hunger pangs. Hence, we decided to eat something spicy to treat our taste buds. We then landed at the "Shaack Restaurant".
Ambience:
The restaurant is not clearly visible from the road, as it is situated on the first floor of "Lenskart" showroom. Initially, I was skeptical about the ambience. To my surprise, the restaurant is comfortably decorated and cozy.
Food:
We planned to eat in the restaurant, but the hotel in-charge politely refused quoting they will not serve food beyond 2 a.m., and the only option left out was to take away. I was snooping through the menu card and baffled by a plethora of items. They serve various cuisines. The average cost of each item is priced close to Rs. 250.
After so much discussion among us, we finally concluded to order Chilli Beef, Chicken Schezwan fried rice and Veg. Schezwan fried rice.
Taste:
After 30 minutes of waiting, our food parcel arrived. We fled to our car to gorge our food. It is not uncommon to find chilli beef in the city, but I was stunned by the crispiness and taste. Within a matter of minutes, we ransacked our food. In the middle, we gulped coke a few times to dislodge the food stuck in the throat and also to quench the thirst. All the dishes were impeccable.
You can also try a good old "Goli Soda" which is revamped and branded by "Kozzmo".
Verdict:
Perfect spot for delicious late night food.
One of the best pizza is this al Pacino pizza. That name itself attractive. This pizza was too made with good, soft bread. And then that chilli chicken flavour. This is the first time Iâm tasting this flavour topped on pizza.
Would suggest this place for their tender coconut soufflé... The best soufflé I've ever had... Honey chicken and crispy was really good and was cooked to perfection...
Good service and tasty food
On a lazy Sunday afternoon, I ended up here with my family for lunch. As I walked in, I found this place to be very clean, small and compact. Good ambience. Very pleasant.
As we settled down and placed the order, we were very disappointed that most of the items were unavailable.
Nevertheless, we ordered Golden-fried Baby-corn, Chicken Parmigiana, Grilled Fillet of Fish and Mushroom Alfredo Pasta.
The Baby-corn, served hot and spicy, was a really good starter option. Loved the flavours.
The Pasta was one of the cheesiest and creamiest that I have eaten. It was brilliant with a generous amount of mushrooms.
The Fish was also fantastic with a very rich, and creamy sauce. Very juicy and delectable in deed. It was the best of all dishes.
The Chicken Parmigiana was good. Nothing extraordinary in it. Good flavours and was grilled to perfection.
Also, though they have very few waiters, their service is very noteworthy.
Overall, this seems to be br a very underrated place.

Good food, had a good time with nice ambience. Can really improve on food presentation. Most of dishes I had from here had a bad presentation.
Went at 1 am in the morning with my gang. Food was decent. The Andhra chicken was awesome. The grilled chicken with gravy and mashed potatoes was good. The pizza was average. The lasagne wasn't good. Chicken fried rice was okayish. Overall if one needs a decent restaurant past midnight this can be a choice for good food. But beware... one may run outa cash cos the food is pricey here!
One of the decent late night restaurants in the city. The beef dishes they serve here are really good. The Godfather Pizza goes great with alcohol. The starters like Mongolian beef and beef rendang are equally good. Definitely, a satisfying experience in Shaack.
If you have a gang of friends who crave some good beef in the middle of the night or if youâre drunk and want some nice Thai green curry, this is the place to Thulp at!
I have been eating here for several years and am amazed at their consistency, because they serve great food every time I order delivery or visit! Try their chicken pho, chilli basil fried rice, pineapple rice and prawns olivetti. Actually I have tried most of their menu and they all are good. This is a place to go when you are hankering for some nice asian or continental food in the middle of the night
A quite place where you can have loads and loads of conversation. Nothing much to complain about the food. Pretty decent quantity for one. Service was good and price was reasonable too..
Been to the restaurant and have ordered online a couple of times and it's amazing. So yummy pizzas.
next time add more chocolate sauce in the brownie!

My friend suggested we go here for lunch . First look wasnât too inviting. feeling bit skeptic we sat down and went thru the menu. Looked interesting and different. We ordered tom yum prawn soup, mango fish ,chilli basil rice , crispy fried thai prawns and the sodas. have tried tom yum in many places in Chennai and this flavour was closest to one we have had at Thailand itself. mango fish was beautifully cooked although flavour of mango could have been a lil more. the sodas in bottles were yum and lot of fun to open and have along with food. The prawns were beautifully fried and crispy with a side of sweet sauce. Finally chill basil rice was light and yummy. They get big thumbs up on food . But they can improve interiors a small bit, in our view was a huge table filled with dirty plates. And wasnât pleasant view to see while eating.
The food was good ... the godfather pizza was amazing n so cheesy ...the lasagne was just ok ...n cheese cake was yum too. Will be ordering the pizzas again.

A decent lance thatâs open till 3am and does door delivery also. Their continental is good. The thin crust pizzas are delicious. The good thing about this place is that the chef is ready to listen to you and customise the dishes for you... thumbs up!
