Layalee is the one of the best Global Multi cuisine Restaurant in Chennai. I have been to their almost 7 times in the last two years and each time i've had the Al faham BBQ Arabian starter and Sizzling Brownie with hot chocolate dessert. Those are the bestest dishes that makes me to feel sumpteous everytime without fail.
And they also make amazing desserts like "Royal falooda and Layalee Special falooda exclusively which everyone should try.

Layalee special chicken barbeque is a must try. Staff was courteous, and they served water melon juice as a welcome drink.

I had a nice lunch here few days back. The service was top notch, kitchen looked hygienic and a decent ambience. I ate briyani, a panneer based gravy and mint juice. The smoke alarm appeared to go off whenever someone ordered a sizzler, something all restaurants need to tackle with their brains. The pricing is definitely on the higher side. Overall it's a nice place for lunches provided you're okay leaving with a lighter pocket.

Loved foods served in this restaurant. We celebrated the birthday party of my son Shivsharan with close family members. Many thanks to Mr. Manit of layalee team for the best service and taking care of us. I would recommend this place for food lovers and for family gathering events. They don't serve the cake. However, they allowed bringing cake from outside and celebrate. Thanks to Layalee team.
After going through Zomato and seeing 4+ rating wanted to give it a try for Friday Team lunch. They have ample parking space assisted by security . The ambiance is very good and they have ample seating arrangement with proper space . They have displayed the BBQ and other fish items in the counter which is easy for people to decide. They staff is courteous and they were quick in taking orders. They provided watermelon juice as complimentary. The food was of good quality and taste specially laylee special BBQ and Egyptian BBQ . Their mini falooda was tasty and worth the price. Overall a good place which definitely deserve good rating. Good place to dine with family and friends.

I had Paneer Tikka, butter naan, and Veg Kohlapuri. All the items were delicious especially the Paneer Tikka is a must try in Veg. I also heard from my non Veg loving friends that their non veg items were good as well. Ambience of the restaurant is appreciable. The rates are reasonable for what they serve. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves to explore many food options.

They have a really vast menu. Started with two soups, Crab meat soup was good, cream of chicken soup was bit too sweet. Ordered five starters bbq fish, squid 65 and prawn was really good. Chicken pallipalayam and mutton tikka were okay. Chicken and mutton dum briyani was just ordinary. Ordered Avacado fruit cream and sizzling brownie with ice cream both were awesome.

The manager in charge, is very courteous and makes it a point to meticulously attend to each n every customer's needs. I was there recently for a first birthday party. The food was excellent. My favourites were the mutton biriyani, barbecue chicken with tahini sauce and the fish gravy.
Food apart, I wish the place was more accessible to the elderly and the disabled. The steps leading up to the lobby are steep and there is no railing to hold on to for support. Hope they will fix this soon. They do however say that they are disabled friendly.

I live in USA and looked for a party hall for my daughter during a short trip in Chennai . I & my father enquired several hotels and only Layalee met the expected budget with a grand party hall. The manager Mr. Nagesh was very helpful. His hospitality and guidance helped me to arrange the party from USA and to my surprise the hall was beautiful, buffet(with 34 items)for the party is excellent and the staffs are very helpful. My friends and relatives loved the food & ambience and we had a wonderful memories to cherish. Kudos to the hotel, manager & staffs!!!!

I have tried their Cream of Mushroom soup, Veg Thai Fried Noodles, Tandoori Rotis, Subz Nizami Handi, Paneer 65 and Gobi 65. The vegetarian food here is good.
Overall, would definitely visit once again to try out their other offerings.

Highly recommend this place for banquet hall. Very Good ambiance and very spacious and food is great. I want to thank Shajahan (Manager) for the cooperation he provided throughout the function(Birthday party) and the decorator Dinesh sir who is very polite and listen to your suggestions and execute it well and budget friendly.

One of the best restaurants to try out the arabian cuisine. Been there for Haleem which was really delicious and could not stop ordering again and again. Did try the main course as well and all of them tasted really good. The food quality, service, ambience everything was great. Mr. Nagesh did make sure that the service was upto the mark. Mr. Nagesh, Mr. Shajil and Mr. Iqbal made our experience to this place a really good one. Will visit this place regularly!!👍🏻
To begin with, two wheeler can be comfortably parked here.
Starters (both veg and non veg) were damn good.. Normal soup was a bit spicy... Main course was average... Maybe my selection of dish might be wrong... But the service was very quick ( i think they are the quickest in this category). Waiters were very couteous...
Dessert and juices were above expectations..But make sure you are ordering dessert and juices while you are having your main dish itself, coz they take hell of a time to bring these alone..

Very good veg food and a decent ambience make this place with a funny name a fine option for dining.
We were a group of 10 people with 4 veg and 6 non veg eaters. This is the first time when I felt the veg was better than the non veg by the looks of the People in my group. The non veg also took much time to be served. When the veggies were having desserts the nvs were yet to get their mains. This was only disappointing aspect.
The ambience was very poorly lit and there was not much light and we couldn't fully make out all aspects of the food.
The veg platter was the highlight, it was exceptional and very well priced.
The mini falooda was below average.

A Nicely located restaurant with enough Cuisine varieties. When i had the first biryani here, it was something unique and differently flavorful. But, the taste is not consistent.
When I had the Biryani last week, it was not up to the mark and to make it worse, the rice was not enough boiled.
But, we can go here to have a good starter for sure. I am giving 4 Stars specifically for their starters.

Let me start off, after a long drive from banglore to chennai we 11 members with 2 cars, just reached at our destination to be a part of college convocation for next light of day. Around at 9:15pm we were so busy in search of having the best dine at town of chennai and after a couple of minutes we come to conclusion to have our dine at Layalee restuarant. While oxygeious period of time we come to know that Layalee is one of the popular global cuisine restuarant at ekkattuthangal in Chennai. They opened one year back, (Not even couple of years). but they really know what they're doing as the restuarant become a sensation with a short of period of time, and it was so wondering entity.We decided to wait until the frenzy died down before heading over to Layalee to try it out and review it anonymously.Let me come to point we ran early to layalee to get a good table, anyhow we reached at layalee doorstep we were rushing to get seats & menu to try wide varities of dishes.
Ekkatuthanghal has truly become a Industrial destination. The area is packed with IT and MNC's and because of these those reasons the seat was very limit on that perticular day, anyway thank God with a short period of time, we got a good table where we could sit together.
The word "Layalee" and its meaning made us more crazy to be there at Night time. Layalee(Night) "Life begins at Night "(without night we'd never see the stars) So thought to dine from here to begin in advance for next day.
The decor was warm, elegent, luxurios and beautiful, we really loved it. We were seated immediatly and waiters handed us an elegent menu (thank god it was n't a tablet); we started browsing and we could tell that this is n't any traditional restuarant. When looking on to the area of washroom its really spruce and snug in simply meant i could give points hundred out of hundred in (neat and tidy) and as well easiest & most convenient valet parking beside the resturant.
I would describe thier menu as modern high and Global. Restuarant managers was going from table to table talking on the patrons, one of them made his way to our table and i shook his hand and asked for recommendations, he started describing each dish enthusiastically, and we ask him to help out with choosing sufficient items for us. So he recommend us to have shawarma, Dragon chicken, Fish in plate, chicken sagoti, Eqyption BBQ, , Layalee special tawa platter, sizzler brownie and Falooda. And at the point I figured that this guy is so nice , he could probably sell us anything at a time. 🤩
While we waited, they bought out the complementory welcome drink, At the point i was slowly falling in love with this place.❤
The Main course was bought out in a short amount of time, Egyptian BBQ was so delicious, Its still melting my mouth, thoum and salad complimented very perfectly. It got extra points too for being so light and Fish in plate deliverd with typical sizzling sound and fumes.🔥😋
Presentation of the Tawa platter was really awsome and made the meal just extra bit special, Dragon chicken, roll shawarma, falooda and sizzlerbrownie too made me to rate you guys very highly. And am giving extra points to your prices on your dishes. Its very reasoble and afforadable.

Excellent place. Very good food. We booked a banquet hall for my husband’s nephew’s first birthday. Right from parking assistance to final settlement everything was smooth. But keep in mind that the banquet hall is in the basement, so don't plan on playing any online videos/audios. Employees were very kind and organized things well.

Good food at reasonable prices with good portion sizes. Being a repeat customer I’ve tried multiple dishes here and I’ve been fairly impressed with consistent quality and good taste.
One suggestion I generally have for restaurant’s near work places, which applies here as well, is to have options on the menu that can be ordered by people who are not necessarily coming with family or friends. ( something like combos enough for 1 person ) .
Nagesh( the manager ) was kind enough to guide me with the option that would suite me.

A thorough fare of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes with a rich Arabian recipies.
The servings were decent. But what put me off was the amount of diced garlic used.
It's ok on a Chinese starters but when you find diced garlic in Paneer tikka masala ( generous amount), then you start doubting the Chef's intentions!
Luckily I didn't order any fresh salads! Wonder what type of garlic loaded dressings it would come with.
But overall, the evening went off well.
Ambience was very nice. Quantity and quality of the dishes were satisfactory. I liked the mixed fried rice and green chilli Barbeque. In Mutton Mandi Rice, mutton was cooked very well, it was tender, juicy and mild flavoured. However I do not like the gravies that comes with it. It was so raw for me. Valet parking facility is available. Service quality is fine, waiting time to get the dishes was little high.

Green chili BBQ - Super good BBQ, which was marinated well with green chilies all around; the skin was dry, but the meat was good; flavors were infused well and were perfect with Mayonnaise 😘
Alfham BBQ - Juiciest meat with even flavor distribution; very tender and went great with Mayonnaise 👍
Kozi Dajaj - Dry Saffron rice with authentic spices here and there; comes with a slice of chicken breast (cooked to perfection); though the rice was meh, the meat and the sides were Fricking good, ain't spicy at all!! 😊
Chicken biryani - One of the best chicken biryani in town; had the most tender meat so soft that the meat easily came out of the bone. It's not spicy at all, so it might not be everyone's plate of biryani; the sides were just okay but on the whole had great spices with aromatic rice, WOW. ❤️
Mutton biryani - Perfect rice, but the meat was inconsistent with some being tender and some were hard/chewy; aromatic spices and perfect masala blend were the plus; mild spiced, GOOD 😚

Nice hotel to stay. Clean & neat. Service was also good. Staff were very polite with good manner which I like most. Food was ok not better. Taste was totally of south indian as it was. Being from east it was not according to my taste. But overall it was a good experience to be there. You can go for it.
Good restuarant for family. Enough parking was available while I visited. Try biriyani if u like not so spicy biriyani. Meat was well cooked. Layale special bbq was just about ok. Nice ambience n Service . Dessert Sharjah shake not so special.

Great food and service, would highly recommend...I tried their lunch a couple of times and had dinner once. The food is exceptionally good. The lunch has a good options of South and North Indian cuisine.Everything is rich in taste and really cooked well.The dinner wasn't expensive as I expected. The biryanis and the curries were cooked to perfection and the quantity is a lot more than in other restaurants. Try it...you won't regret it.
