Quite authentic food for any north indian out there.Tried their Patiala chicken ,butter chicken,Dal makhani. Didn't like the Dal makhani at first but Pankanj kumar (as much i remember) helped us out there with great hospitality to manage the dish and turn it as better as it become. Would love to try their different non veg dishes in coming days. Keep up the good food guys
We are from Hyderabad, came on visit to Chennai and unexpectedly came to eat to this place and it was the best north Indian food we had and the food was delicious and I fell in love with this punjabi style food, food was served on time without any delay like others in city. And the background hindi hit songs..wow amazing and picture perfect dinner. Wait I forgot to mention one last thing that is patiala special lassie.special thanks to Rupa who made the impression by suggesting the best ones in the menu. Thanks Rupa you made our day...!!!

Visit to this place was quite random as we were craving for some good north Indian food we decided to go to this place. Ambiance was good and was made in the form of a train. Staff members are polite. It isn't a very big restaurant. We ordered sweet lassi, butter chicken, butter naan, dal makhani and one paneer gravy. Our total bill for four people was 1874/-. Naans in the initial serving wasn't that great but when we ordered extra it was very soft and buttery. Altogether a nice place to go to for some good north Indian food.

The food was amazing here...! Everything we ordered tasted heavenly. Be it the malai kababs with lots of cream and tender chicken pieces. And also the biryani, butter naans and the curries also taste absolutely delicious..!
Ambience is also great here, u get a dhaba style of seating and they play Punjabi music. The service here also deserves a big thumbs up..! The servers and other staff are really friendly and they won't leave u dissappointed.

The best lunch i've had in Chennai. Their murg rara is one of the best chicken dishes i've ever had. The complimentary drink is awesome and the ambience is crazy good as well. The place is better than Bhangra imo.

Themed restaurant, Gives u the Jab We Met feels as soon as you enter. the seats are shaped as train seats, the windows as train windows, so basically u feel like you are dining in a train in Punjab as u can see mannequins with pagris ! even the water is served from a kettle :D for my love for chicken we ordered most f the chicken starters, u can easily go and order anything without having to think because we had a great time and enjoyed the food very much! every dish is tasty and prepared in Punjabi style chicken. I came to know about this restaurant when we went to Pind earlier which is in the same building. This place is easy to locate. Near the Food street next to Chennai one toll while heading thoraipakkam. Parking is available inside the premises. Restaurant is located in 3rd floor.
Ambiance is good with Express train theme as well. Lighting is apt. Seating is comfortable. Service is attentive and good. Food ordered came in reasonable time. Visited twice so far and both the time we went with alacart option.
Ordered Veg Tandoori Platter, Mini basket, Punjabi Panner masala, Veg kholapur, sizzling brownie and Punjabi Masala Beer wait wait it is nothing but buttermilk. Tandoori Platter came with 4 varieties in Panner, 2 aloo π₯ varieties, Gobi, kebab, mushroom π etc. Everything is good. Filling too. Quantity is more than expected (22 pieces mentioned in menu)
Mini basket came with naan, roti, kulcha, paratha and Missi roti. I had roti and Missi roti which are perfect. Punjabi Panner masala is decent while veg kholapur is exceeding expectation. Masala buttermilk is also good. Pricing is reasonable. Value for money π°. I will be revisiting again.

Went to Bhatinda express with Pind experience in mind...The staff were very polite and courteous, helped us with a smiling face. The drawback was the serve time which made us lose our hunger. Once our food arrived, it was quite good in taste and quantity that we totally got lost in the food items. A must visit to Bhatinda express if you are a food lover...4 stars just because of the delay in service...The manager seemed to have noted it down and took it constructively and a smiling face...Kudos guys
As the name goes, you can witness the railway station. I would suggest to take stairs over elevator to actually witness the station like ambiance. There were water cans, station boards which gives the vibe. The staff were courteous enough. We were seated in the compartment with dim lights.
Coming to food, they were extraordinary
Right from soup till mains everything had the right amount of spice, flavours and the quantity was good.
The only let down was the mocktails we ordered. Everything tasted the same, basically lime soda with the flavour mentioned (small quantity).

A small but cozy place, based on a train / rail compartment theme. Tastefully decorated with graffiti and trinkets all over the place. Service was quick. Food items ordered were tasteful and well done. Price point was reasonable too.
All the foods are good on average..not so good neither bad.. but the food was getting served late..taking time and few of the food were not served hot.
Ambience created as a small railway coach. Compact and nice. Went for lunch buffet.. started off with palak soup which was classic.. could not stop having it twice. Starter veg were ok. The main course broccoli noodles and burnt rice was outstanding.. overall a good place to try !!

We hogged Afghani Chicken Tikka which was awesome 200% level, Paneer tikka were really good because you know after having there paneer tikka I think that was the best grilled Paneer Tikka we had in Chennai Town. I am a silent killer foodie who is rating them 5 because every food we ordered was perfectly cooked and served.

We went with family,Β it was amazing evneing. we enjoyed all starters from desserts..all foods are yummy yummy..especially chicken adn fish items are too good..finally malai Rabdi still my tounges are twisting...i can give full marks to them, especially its a Train theme restaurant..we all felt so good....all the best Team.
Absolutely a wonderful place to have food. We loved all the dishes we ordered. I went with the non vegetarian buffet and they serve on the table which was quite unusual for a buffet. But then I was surprised as the quality of food kept increasing as they were serving all the dishes. Even the dishes ordered through the menu were amazing. Dhaal Makini was the best of all. The atmosphere is not quite conducive for family gathering as there was very less space between tables and plenty of people waiting to get inside. The music was soo loud as well. That is something the management needs to look into.
The ambiance is simply great, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for a memorable meal. The food was undeniably awesome - each dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented.
However, there was a bit of a downside when it came to service. The food took a bit longer than expected to arrive at our table, which might be frustrating for those in a hurry.
Also, it's worth noting that this place might not be the best choice for larger groups (7+ people), as the service can be a bit slow for larger parties.

Food, service and atmosphere was good. The train theme was also good . Their veg sizzler starter platter was a treat to the eyes! Grill chicken was subtle, not too spicy nor bland. Mattar paneer gravy was too oily. Other than that taste was good .
All the starters were ultimate taste and especially their kebab and BBQ are must try. Their non veg platter to a good option for team lunch gathering. Parwan satay was not good as it is Chinese style and I was disappointed with the main course it was not served hot and did not tasted good as we ordered Mutton and chicken briyani. It was cold and does not benchmark the taste.
At least pls donβt miss to try their Lassi options as your desert. π

Suggestion: Reserve the table in advance. If you are more than 10 people (we were 13) you will hardly find a table together, but if you are lucky enough you might get a table available on the first floor, which is comparatively better than their main floor (3rd floor).
Food: Food was good, pizza had too much cheese but it was good, we tried cheese corn balls, Hara bhara kabab (not recommended), honey chilly potato, gobhi 65, manchow soup, kadhai mushroom, etc. basically you will get good variety of veg and nonveg food.
Service was excellent, but I would recommend finding a place on the first floor (the third floor was too crowded).
