Asli Punjabi Rasoi - Chennai (Madras) - Photo album

The food was great. Its a great option for people around Alwarpet. The ambiance is not that great but its best when it rains. Its also budget friendly.
Very few in Chennai even know of this place right on Eldams Road. Go here for the good food, and great ambiance under the trees. Authentic food and good overall experience. RELOCATED - Moved up the road towards Anna salai, close to intersection of Eldams road ....
Food was Good, had authentic north Indian taste, quantity of sides was less... They have to add another 1 serving of side at least ... The standard thaali cost Rs 80, I bought Raita separately, it was good and costed me another 50... As for as taste is concerned, the money paid was worth...
Tasty and delicious food. Worth to visit with family and friends.
Delicious Punjabi style-cooked food. Named Asli Punjabi, but ironically no non veg item on the menu
Very good Punjabi cuisine. It was an open garden themed restaurant which they shifted to a basement of a building in the same road. Since it's in the basement the mobile reception was poor. The interiors are not so great, feels like an apartment filled with tables, chairs, lights and fans. Staffs ar
Food was ok, quantity of executive meal is too much for one person.
Had been yesterday, the 9th Jan 19. Ordered simple food..Amazing taste and should say very authentic with Punjabi style. Pricing is affordable. Their Carrot Halwa is simply superb
This is one of the best place near tenampet area for North Indian food/ Punjabi food. Food price is very reasonable and affordable. Taste of the food is awesome. Even anyone can try lassi or masala chach too. They have the menus day wise and multiple options for thali..if you are in Chennai and loo
Delivery experiences are better than the visit experiences. Service is a bit slow and quite mediocre. Explaining and expectations are quite lower than normal levels. The ambience looks OK for first visit, but repeated visit brings out more obvious things to the surface. Cutlery is plastic/melamine.
Good place for take away. Curries have good quantity. Food is a balance of spice and taste for the cost provided. But workers working there are lazy and careless for table service. I tried dal tadka (4/5 stars) and paneer do pyaza (3.5/5).
Good restaurant. Not a big one but the taste of the food is really awesome. Only veg and chilli potato is finger licking... Worth the money.
It used to be an open to air restaurant, and now they have their own place. I am not sure if they do good marketing but it isn't as crowded as before. They have great food and deserve bigger crowds.
A lovely place for pure Punjabi and Rajasthani dining. Tasty and delicious food. Worth to visit with family and friends. Enjoyed our food here. Great!
Became a regular drive eat spot for a quick lunch. Biriyani with those big panneer butter masala is just yum. I recommend you guys to engage your service crew to keep your place alive.
