One of the best Asian restaurant in chennai. Love their option of creating our own noodles bowl. Chap chay will be my forever go to place from here onwards for their service & not to forget their unlimited jasmine tea.

Visited chap chay for an office lunch. Food was awesome. Staff were pretty friendly and accommodating to all our requests. Enjoyed the food thoroughly. The seats were a bit uncomfortable to sit. The ambiance and overall restaurant atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Would visit again.
Chap Chay is a lovely Pan Asian restaurant located in The Raintree Hotel in St. Mary's Road, Chennai. I had occasion to go there several times and loved the food.
On my last visit we had the Chicken Siu Mai with Carrot Burnoise, Bulgogi Beef with Napa Cabbage Kimchi & Gochujang Chilli and Pan Fried
Food was verrrry spicy and the service was very poor. They simply forgot to place my son's order and it took a total of 55 min to get his food. They finally gave us a free dessert but it was too little too late
The ambience was pretty cool and we had a good time. I specifically enjoyed their "Desi" cuisine not to mention the chicken varieties.
