The food we had enjoyed at the time of dinner.it was really delicious with great quality and quantity, everything had unique taste which we had ordered.
If you want to taste some good Andhra style food in Chennai, this is one of those places to go. Veg Biryani is tasty.

I have ordered mutton biryani but got biryani with chicken pieces. Food also tastes so salty.
Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani tastes soo good here.
Ordered their ulavacharu chicken briyani and cashew veg briyani, like any other briyanis served at andra messes they served rice and curries separately. Nothing to complain about taste it was good. In cashew briyani they dint put cashew nut just for name sake it was soo generous. Quantity was filling.

My favourite mushroom biriyani π There is room for improvement in cleanliness and quality for sure. Use less oil during preparation. Having said that I had best veg biriyani here.
Best place to have Andhra foods. Hyderabadi Chicken Biriyani is my suggestion. Reasonable price for the tasty foods. Please make branches over Chennai.
My favorite Andhra restaurant in OMR, have been visiting it for more than 2years. Boneless chicken biryani, chilli chicken, pepper chicken and veg meals are my favs here. I wish they extend their delivery services to Sholinganallur as well.

Mostly we visit this place for special Biryani's. Biryani here are very good on quality and quantity, though being andhra style Biryani's spice level is optimal and suits different palate.
Special mention to their services which never fails to impress me. They have dedicated staff for each task this makes sure their is always someone around the table to listen to you.
Only downside in my opinion are those shady lights they have put up making the whole atmosphere dull and boring.
Overall Mughalai & special bonless Biryani are must have at this place!!
One of the places to find Great food in the surroundings of Sipcot & Navallur. I always get a feeling of full whenever I eat the food from Vaasu's and find it like more of home's food.

Nice food , place is crowded during weekends like on friday . Try lollipop, fry piece and 65 biryani . If ordering online order two biryanis for 3 ppl .
The To-Go place for some tasty, spicy lunch in the locality! Veg Meals is my regular order here. You can expect the usual items served in any other Andhra Style restos. There is no cap for quantity, eat all you can! π

Go early so that you can have food when it is hot and you can avoid the huge software crowd from the vicinity.
Cost effective meals and biryani on the IT corridors. Tasty and hygienic. Serves authentic andhra food. Signatured food, biryani and non-veg side dishes.
Hyderabadi chicken dum biryani...the Biryani was very good..the chicken in it was very soft and tasty...one of the good Hyderabadi style biryani in Chennai..

One best Andhra mess in town ! After long time plan finally visited this place for lunch ! We ordered non veg meals and veg meals with chicken lollypop briyani and mutton briyani. Typical Andhra taste food with parupu podi and gonkura. Cannot expect a good ambiance here but still ppl are flooded for the taste of food.
The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. We especially enjoyed the special taste of andhra biryani .Β
This is a wonderful place for a foodie to just get into another world and live food. Chicken biriyani was really awesome, cooked fine and even prawns tasted good no smell, very tender they are just mouth watering!!!
Actually there are two restaurants with the same name with a slight difference in that area. The only difference is a space in the name. Ended up going to this specific one at last.
We have to get token first just as it is in any Andhra mess. But the costs are little bit on the higher side compared to normal ones I go on a daily basis for lunch. But considering they have spent for interiors and provide sweet dish and some other extra it is justified.
The staff is very considerate and friendly. And food too was good but omlet and side dish could have been more spicy. But overall had a nice experience and if you love Andhra food, please give it a try.
Love the meals here.... its just ultimate there is nothing around navallur and ahead which has a crowd like the one this restaurant has...... i world say its the best andhra mess in chennai right next to amaravati....
Haven't tasted biryani from this place but this place is a must visit if you want pesarattu upma. Chutneys are amazing. Delicious Andhra food

The famous Andhra mess which is hidden in a street behind the NAVALLUR TOOL PLAZA. The hot spot for corporate people specially AP PEOPLE, we entered at 12.30 where that too during the cyclone time in chennai, they had only chicken biriyani and meals, around 10 tables were filled by that time, the moment we started eating, huge crowd started coming into the place, literally I guess 1000s come and go only for lunch
The meals is 180 bucks INR imagine, people come for that and eat stomach full and go
The biryani is only 120 where they give nice in a separate bowl and huge chicken pieces with gravy
The mEals were the best deal of the day
Started with sweet Pongal, tamarind rice, biriyani, chicken dry, chicken gravy with pieces and then 2 kind of veggies, different gravies, podi and ghee, thick curd, apalam π· my goodness one meal a day will keep u the hunger away lol π
Chicken biriyani: quantity is huge one can be easily shared by 2 people π³π± the gravy given to that was excellent 3 big pieces of chicken and raitaππ».

A typical Andhra mess and dining experience. It was famous for a full-meals and spicy side-dish items. Have dined here ~6 years back. Not sure if the experience is the same.
Used to be a favourite for folks working in & around in IT firms.
Major things I have to mention is their paruppu podi , it's very tasty and everyone must enjoy this taste . And also chicken dry which was too good ,
As I see only concern is rate . Atleast veg meals price can be reduced . Other than that good place for meals lovers with paruppu podi β€

This place is good for Briyani.They do have many varieties of Andhra biryani and some are spicy. The ambience isnβt great, but you can always get home delivery. I went late around 10 and ordered dum Briyani. The chicken pieces were not that cooked. It might've been better. You have to get the token by paying what you gonna eat. And have to give the token and they'll serve you. All are token based here. There isn't much parking space here. You have to find a place if you're coming in groups.

Good food with wrothy prices. If one wants to have Andhra meals and biryani, then this can be your first choice. The ambience isnt attractive. The place seems to br renovated with pathetic Rudementry Interiors. The staffs are friendly and welcoming. It would be good if they have some sort of uniform or sign to distinguish them from customers. Quick fact : They don't have tissues π§

Food was decent as with any Andhra mess in Chennai. But place is congested and the service person was not very knowledgeable on what is available
You will get veg and non veg both, sitting arrangement is good, prices are normal. Good option for non vegetarians and for vegetarians only pessaratu i feel is better than any other thing.
To taste Andhra spicy chicken biryani one should definitely visit here. It is a famous restaurant in OMR. Quality food at reasonable prices with pure Andhra taste
