We decided to have a light vegetarian lunch... We ordered meals for adults and curd rice for my daughter....
The meals came with the usual assortments of rice, sambhar, rasam, yam, moru, kaara kulambu, papad, keera dal kootu...
The meals were ok in taste.... Nothing out of this world or amazing but good enough...
Curd rice was terrible.... it was as if milk was poured in regular rice.... At home I'm sure its done so that the milk sets into curd... But here it was milky and watery.... terrible curd rice...
They also take long time to serve despite the fact that they have many staff...
Decent ambience.... value for money.... not so bad food...
Sambhar: the name is yummy. I'm a big fan of my mom's sambhar.
I tried north indian,
starters: I tried idly tikka & chilli panner, hmmm yummy..
Main course: breads all fine, the curries can be more tastier.
The rating for the food should've higher, but it lost on d services.
Service takes its own time.. no follow up. Anyone for kadalai pls visit dis place for longg chatting..
But the ambience is not cold. It's vibrant. Bright. It's sunshine even in d night. Like dining on a floodlight cricket match. I missed out on dis.
I'll visit again for sure to taste south indian dishes
Some Awesome Food Caters To A Variety Of Cuisines Loved The Spring Dosa , Noodles and A Delicious Stir Fry Will Surely Keep Coming For More As Its A Big Menu.Food Is Not Concentrated With Oil And Masalas.Very Balanced Easy On Stomach Easy On Wallet Way To Go Guys

Great service and good food. Maheshwari was very cordial and the service was really good. The dosa varieties are amazing. Looking forward to come here more often
Love the food here. This is the place to go to for authentic South Indian food. Chutney and sambhar is amazing here. Pricing is also pocket friendly. Will repeat this place for sure.
Food was really awesome , we all enjoyed a lot... it's become our favourite restaurant
And service was very good thanks for
crily, mageshwai,divya
There were several varieties of dosa. With unlimited dosa for 179/- it was more than satisfying. Definitely a place to try out!
Catered by- crily and mahess
Went with a hungry Stomach and ordered meals.. And It Came lightning Quick....very courteous and caring staff ...thanks to Divya and maheshwari
Very nice restaurant... Good place to have veg Food... Specially idly Sambar..nice meals..very courteous staff... Thanks to Cyril, Divya and Maheshwari...
This place has been open for quite some time... I have been here before a ouple of times. They have a good menu with some great variety in their signature dishes. I came here for dinner and Mahesh was looking after my orders. She... Yes, she is a very sweet person and ensured I did not miss out on anything that was supposed to be served with the dish. Service was wonderful and very much to a customer's expectations. I order sambhar idly and the utthizza as you can see in the pics. Sambhar idly was a delight to my taste buds and the utthizza was something I never tried before... It reminded me of the movie kaaka muttai. Pizza style on an utthapam. A must try restaurant. Jain food is also served.
Was there with my friends Tried the fusion varieties of Idly, Dosa and some North Indian and Chinese. Was very pleased with the taste. Pesto Dosa, Paneer tikka dosa and spring roll were our favourites. Chilly idly was amazing and all the Chinese varieties was very authentic. Brocolli Paneer masala another combination which I had never tried before. Over all a awesome experience for those bored with the regular cuisines. I love experimenting with food and when at the end of the dinner the bill does not scare you and portion sizes are generous.. You have nothing to complain about.
Coming back for more sply the unlimited Dosa's at just 179 this place is a must visit for pure veg and fusion food. Courteous staff also informed they can make Jain food and helped a lot in choosing the right food to match palate.
More to explore on our next visit which is going to happen soonly...
Excellent service by Maheshwari and great food.. .. must try for all vegetarian lovers. Great locations, different varieties. One of the best dine outs
I hv been to tis place twice recently....
Ultimate food and excellent service spl by one of the lady staff name MAHESH.. we are in love this place now..VALUE FOR MONEY.
And not to forget the generous Manager. All in all excellent food & staff..
Great dosa varieties. Ambience is calm and peaceful. The service is excellent. Mr.Cyril made us feel comfortable. Perfect place to visit if you want to fill your stomach at low expenses.

Tasty, Excellent service, very good.enjoyed the delicious lunch and dinner with lovely service , Go with your family and friends, enjoy the delicious dishes
We stopped here for lunch after the list of idly based starters caught our attention. Decent ambience. The menu has a lot of interesting items and we tried our best to try them out. Idly tikka, creamy Manchurian pasta, schezwan dosa were quite good. All of them tasted amazing and for quite economical rates. But service needs to improve a lot. They were friendly but took a long time to attend. Was really hoping to try the tender coconut mousse but it wasn't available. Overall a a hearty meal for a pocket friendly rate.
I went to this place long back when it was newly opened. At that time they used to offer few varieties of Sambhar to accompany south Indian dishes. Off late they stopped giving varieties of Sambhar I guess. I went to this place this week after so many months. My Review is based on my 2 visits.
This place is easy to locate. In a one way near Bombaysthan in kilpauk. Valet parking is available so no need to worry about parking. Ambiance is good with excellent bright lighting. Simple and neat interiors which are pleasing. Nice music played in background. Have ample seating in first floor. Haven't seen people having food in ground floor but seating is available.
Ordered Podi idly and roasted garlic dosai during my first visit. Both are decent. Tried 2 Sambhar at that time. Traditional one is good while other one is just ok. Anyway it doesn't have any relevance now. Pricing seems slightly on higher side.
Recently saw a irresistible deal in Nearbuy earlier Groupon from this restaurant. Immediately bought it even for my friends and went for it. Deal is have Unlimited Dosai from their entire menu which has 17 varieties on whole. We 4 people went for it.
Tried Roasted garlic dosai, Manchurian dosai, schezwan dosai, Spring roll dosai, Cheesy pesto dosai, panner tikka dosai and podi uthappam. Cheesy pesto and roasted garlic are excellent. Ordered one more pesto dosai without chesse to indulge in that flavour. Being fan of pesto pasta loved it. Rest of them are decent. May not be tempting but tasted normal. Sambar and all 3 chutneys are also good.
The worst part is service. They are not attentive at all. Need to call them for each and every thing. We have to call for giving initial and repeat orders. For 4 people gave very small cup of 3 varieties of chutneys. Can't you serve all 3 cups for each people? If not be near and refill it along with sambhar. Even for water we need to follow up each time.
But for service and slightly premium in pricing can give a try to this place.

A simple vegetarian restaurant serving combination food.
I'm never a veg person, so this was during lent season where I was forced to venture out to all the veg restaurants in the city. Sambhar, did have a lasting impact in my mind.
The restaurant has plenty of valet parking facilties and two entrances.
The ambience is simple and by simple I really mean a bunch of plastic chairs and tables set amidst yellow walls.
The sweet corn soup was decent.
I had this craving for podi dosa. The Sambhar and chutney were literally bad. Alot of improvising to do given the irony of its name.
The paper baby corn , veg fried rice and noodles were the best. Although, they could reduce the ajinomoto in it. :p and the dhai Puri deserves an applause too :)
Apart from the food, the staff are curtious, responsive and quick at their feet.
I would visit again if only they improvise on sambar and dosa.
Good atmosphere, decent taste and quick service the rate is little high ,parking facility is good .... overall good to visit with family members
Good food, nice ambience, poor service only one person to note your orders on the entire floor, had to wait even though we were early, it took 2.5hrs for us to finish by cancelling last orders,
Ambience 3.5/5
Food 4/5
Service 3.5/5
Value for money 4/5

What not. Jus expect some awesome food and ambience here.. Idhuve podhum..
P.S : add some more jain items .. Thank you
Maheshwari did a good job.. Made us feel like home..
Murali the manager, nice work in maintaining your undertaking..
The place is not very crowded on weekdays.. whereas on Sundays it's crowded and noisy too. Nevertheless the dosa and sambhar are the yummiest. Avoid eating nachos. U can prefer South Indian food here. Jain sambhar is also very tasty. Ambience was good and the service too. Nice place for a family dinner.

Sambhar at kilpauk is one good veg place to try out. The name sambhar itself reveals its cuisine, Yes; South Indian cuisine with some twist. Sambhar is located in the omers road, Kilpauk. It’s in the same building of SLAM gym.
Parking, they valet parking so not to worry about it.
Ambience, they have white tables and white chairs. The walls are also white with some posters hanging around. They have see-through kitchen which helps you to see what’s actually going on inside the kitchen. The bright lighting adds better looks to the restaurant. Overall the ambience is very simple yet beautiful.
Coming to the food, we started off with soups potato leek, cream of spinach and cream of broccoli with cheddar. The cream of spinach was very thick and creamy while broccoli soup had the flavours well but didn’t taste like spinach soup and potato leek was little bit watery.
For the starters we had chilli paneer, salt and pepper mushroom, American corn and cheese nuggets, paneer tikka and classic nachos. The chilli paneer was usual and nothing was great about it, salt and pepper mushroom was good while the corn nuggets was very small and quantity seems to be less and the classic nachos and paneer tikka was good.
For the mains we had Cheese pesto dozzaa, shredded chilly idly were the fusion dishes from the menu it was good but i don’t feel the cheese pesto dozzaa is worth for 249. The same goes to the small quantity shredded chilly idly which is also 249. We also had Penne pasta creamy Szechuan sauce which was good and was worth the money. The nutella dosa, venn pongal, sambar rice and sambar vada was good and went good along with sambhar and chutneys. The venn pongal tasted really good. The sambar served for smabar vada was jain sambar.
Overall the place is not completely a south Indian cuisine restaurant. It has fusion food and also pastas in their menu. I feel the fusion the food are expensive for the quantity served.
Service was really good, they were on their toes in bringing food to the table. They were real quick and very friendly.
My rating would be 3.5/5.
Photos will be uploaded soon. :)
Cool ambience, taste is average. I was expecting mouth watering sambar because of the name but it was ordinary. The added advantage is its location is comfortable for residents of kellys and surrounded areas. The plus point of this place is that it offers The Table dessert jar-one of the yummiest dessert as part of menu. I wl go again for The Table jars
💕What comes to your mind when you hear of the word sambhar ? 😍 That staple by-default-favourite, cannot-live-without dish for almost every South Indian 😌
💕When I heard of this place, I thought it would be a total southie place, but no, not at all 😅 Name it and you'll get it here 😋 From distinctive South Indian to delightful pastas to exquisite fusion dishes 😮
💖Few of us were invited to check out this place. It's pretty easy to find if you follow the maps. The ambience is has a lot of natural lighting and hues of white and yellow. 😌
💕What we tried :
🌈We started off with the beverages : the Pina colada and Virgin Miami vice. The pina colada was thick and had a dominant coconut flavour and Miami vice had an almost similar taste. 🍹
🌈Soups:
☃️potato leek - didn't work for me, it was too watery. 🍵
☃️Cream of spinach - loved the flavour, was thick, creamy, minty and classic. 🥗
☃️Cream of broccoli with cheddar - cheesy, dense and a bit runny, but the flavours were well blended. 🧀
🌈Starters :
☃️classic cheese nachos : The nachos crisp crunchy and delightful, it was smothered with generous amounts of cheese.🧀😍
☃️American corn and cheese nuggets: Golden fried small round nuggets, the quantity was very less. The amount of cheese could have been more. 🧀🤔
☃️Salt and pepper mushroom: It was seasoned so well with Pepper. Absolute must try if you love spicy food. 🍄😍
☃️Paneer tikka: No one can possibly go wrong with panner, but sadly, the paneer had a rubbery taste. Sorry but, that's so not acceptable 👎
🌈Pasta : I love pastas anyday anytime, so a bit biased here 🙃😛
☃️Creamy pesto with penne : Lip-smacking. It wasn't really creamy and was a tad bit sweet, but the pesto and cheese was well infused. 🍝😍
☃️Penne Alfredo : greasy and flavourful, just the way a pasta should be. 🧀😍
💕But almost everyone on the table liked the pesto, more than Alfredo 🤗
🌈South Indian: Give me the best dishes from Around the world, but if there's idly, dosa and sambhar, I will pick that over anything and everything ❤️
☃️We tried the sambhar vada, Pongal, sambhar rice, plain dosa and Nutella chocolate dosa. 🍫
💕Loved everything 😍 Special mentions to Nutella chocolate dosa because it was heavenly.
🌈Fusion : The fusion foods are just a slight moderation of normal dishes, it was innovative yes, but it's too over priced. 💸
☃️Shredded chilly idly: idly cut in to smaller pieces and sautéed with spices 😍 For a change, it was interesting and tasted good. 😋
☃️Cheesy pesto dosa: Ordinary dosa spread with pesto and cheese. Liked it, but it isn't worth the cost. 🧀🙃
🌈Chaat : we tried the dahi Puri. Definitely a good option to go for. 😍
🌈Desserts : They have a very limited variety of desserts. We got to try the payasam that's given along with the meals. Other than that, we had a ton of TABLE desserts which was the best ❤️
💕Overall, a good place to get quality vegetarian around this area. The service was great. The prices are on the higher side, but sure, worth a shot 😋👍
Prices aren't mentioned as it was over an invite 💰
In most of the south Indian families sambhar is a major dish for breakfast, lunch , evening snacks, and dinners. Since it is a global gravy which suits for various meals, It has different methods of preparation. As this restaurant being named as SAMBHAR, I had stereotype thought that its serves typical south Indian fare, which has SAMBHAR as a major dish. But they serve more shades of fusion foods and other cuisine fare.
Sambhar now adds up to the list of Veg restaurant that is blooming up in Kilpauk. The Bright yellow lit up board always was a welcoming vibe whenever I passed via that road.
Ample parking space on the ground floor with Valet parking is always an added advantage.
The white tables and yellow walls went on well with the name Sambhar. The see-through kitchen, some artistic decors and overall ambience will give you a good food-court like feel.
But Why Sambhar? When asked the same to the management, They said it's cos of the Owner's name, Sam Paul and To gel with the name, They've had varieties of Sambar. But unfortunately, Now they have just Two varieties, The Jain sambhar and the normal sambhar.
Some of we foodies were invited here to try their food.
Started with their mocktails for a refreshing start,
Pinacolada | Miami vice
Pinacolada was good enough but could have been better.Miami vice was a strawberry based drink with something similar to Pinacolada base with Mashed ice flavoured with Strawberry was a bliss.
Followed by their Soups,
Cream of spinach | Potato & leek | Cream of broccoli with cheddar
Cream of spinach had some intense flavour of spinach. The greens lovers will surely love this. Potato & Leek tasted well and it had chunks of potatoes in it.Cream of Broccoli didn't impress me much.
For the starters,
Salt and pepper mushroom | chilli paneer | American corn and cheese nuggets | classic nachos | paneer tikka
Salt and pepper mushroom will give you that fiery pepper heat feel.Chilli paneer tasted good but the wasn't soft.American corn and Cheese nuggets were good.Classic Nachos, presented well and tasted satisfying.Could have had more cheese.
Mains,
Pongal | Sambar Sadam | Sambar vada .... | Cheese Pesto Dosa | Creamy Szechuan sauce Penne pasta | Creamy Pesto penne pasta | Nutella Dosa | shredded chilli idly |
By the name, We expected they'd expert themselves in Sambar based dish and a pure south Indian! But, Out of the blue, We saw Pasta on the menu! woah ! This ain't a pure south Indian.
Anyways .. The south Indian dishes were all good enough.Nothing so great or unique in it.
Both the Pasta were presented well and tasted really well. The Creamy pesto pasta was all the Veggie's fav! Much flavorful and soothing. The Szechuan sauce was equally good.Creamy and Tangy.
They had something called Fusion section, Out of which we tried the Nutella Dosa and Cheese Pesto Dosa. Dosa covered with Nutella was good but I don't like the idea of chocolate over Dosa compared to the real DOSA. Cheese Pesto dosa was a wow! Good amount of pesto and Cheese and also it went on well with Sambar.
Shredded chilly idly has always been my childhood fav dish, Having this dish after a long time, I got a Lil nostalgic.Tasted yum!
Veg restaurents always have good chats, so I wanted to try one of theirs,
Ordered a dhai Puri which I totally enjoyed. Perfectly made with proper amount of dhai and dhai base.
On the whole, This place has some good selective food. They just need a Lil improvement.I would recommend the management to bring back those varieties of Sambar and stick to being more of south Indian or maybe south Indian Fusion.Every other restaurant has these usual foods but being different in a way makes you stand out of the crowd.
Food : 👍
Service : 👌
Ambiance : 👍
Excellent food and good service by Ms. Mahesh
The place is quite clean and staff are very polite. Food is served very quickly. Must eat here.
I done dine at today dinner it was memorable dinner in my life lovely ambiance loveable service by Cyril and Shiva, David. Good food. Nice hospitality. Shambhar service is outstanding. I am waiting for my next visit and I will refer others also.
There has been a surge in the number of restaurant's which have blossomed in the Kilpauk area in recent times and Sambhar can be termed as a name to reckon with under the ambit of pure veg restaurants. With a name like 'Sambhar', you might be tempted to believe that the cuisine will majorly be South Indian but that isn't the case here as they serve a widespread multicuisine spread incorporating elements of North Indian, Chinese, Continental and even fusion concoctions along with cuisine from the down south of India.
We were invited on a weekend afternoon for lunch to have a try at some of their special dishes. The place is very simple and the dash of yellow and white adds a bright touch to the surroundings. The seating arrangement is more in tune with the fast food culture of plastic chairs with laid out cushion seating. There are some pictures inscribed on the walls and an open kitchen outlet and that's about it. There isn't anything really over the top or fancy on the ambiance side. Feels more like a no frills place concentrating on the prime factor of food.
We traversed through a number of items from the menu and listed below is a brief sample of the same:
- Soups and Drinks : We tried 3 different versions of soups viz cream of spinach, potato&leek and the cream of broccoli with cheddar. I found all of them to be good with the flavours being very apparent on taking a mouthful. And they did get the creaminess bang on right. The mocktails in the form of a strawberry based cooler and pinacolada were par for the course and refreshing add on's.
- Starters : Here we went all out trying a plethora of fare eating out into all cuisines. The salt and pepper mushroom was spicy and had the right amount of masala coating. The chilli panneer as well as the panneer tikka lacked the punch as the pieces of cottage cheese were rubbery and a little too hard for the liking. The american corn and cheese nuggets dolloped with a dash of chilli mayo was rather nice and the classic nachos despite not expecting too much turned out be an appetising affair with the cheese nicely interspersed in the layers of the taco chips.
Main Course : We were pretty curious to try what they come up with on the fusion side and we went about placing orders for a cheesy pesto dosa, shredded chilli idly and penne pasta in creamy szechuan sauce and probably these were the stand out performers on the day. The dosa had a lovely creamy greenish layer of pesto and cheese mingling inside the dosa covering. The idli's were succulent and garnished with right dosage of spices and riveting in taste. The pasta was another nailer and it was just jaw dropping drooling and presented really well. Apart from the fusion items we also tried a nutella chocolate dosa slathered with choco grains underneath the sheet of dosa and it was a good dish to eat standalone sans the chutney and sambhar. We also gave a shot at the creamy penne pesto where the powering of pesto was a little too overpowering. As I am fond of pesto drizzle, I quite liked it but not sure if it would be lapped up by all since the essence was very hard hitting. We had to by default try the sambhar rice and that was delectable with the esculence of pepper elevating the aroma. The sambhar vada felt a little too plain as it was of the jain kind sans onion and garlic and somehow didn't enjoy it much.
Others : We tried ghee pongal which went along with the chutneys. In order to try something radical we also had a crack at the Dahi puri which was very well delivered with abundance of curd and the mixture of rightful essentials. Payasam wasn't available and we got a small sweetish cup of chakra pongal with cashew nuts which was quite decent. And on desserts we tried 5 different flavours from the Table jar and needless to say it was slurpy and of the melt in the mouth kinds. The chocolate mud especially was immensely enjoyable and the mousse complemented by being super smooth and creamy.
Overall, it was a very satisfying experience dining at Sambhar. The service was very helpful and were very willing to accede to our requests. The serving time also was quick and they did a good job of clearing plates and refilling water. As this was over an invite, prices go out of the picture but even otherwise a glance at the menu will tell you that they are sub par and competitive on the rates. If you're looking for a nice vegetarian meal and also want to try something different like fusion concocted version of food, Sambhar is definitely a good little restaurant to check in.
A nice place to try the fusion dishes that they've. I loved the manchurian pasta very tangy and creamy also the chilly idly was a good dish! Jalapeño cheese poppers was presented well though the taste was average. I would definitely try more dishes at this place
Good Veg. Restaurant to dine in, Tasty and Pricey though. Take away quantity is very less. Evenings are bit crowded and busy. Clean and Comfortable. Good place for family visit.

A classy veggie restaurant.. Tasty food with excellent service. Am sure that Sangeetha & saravana bhavan will be down, because the Sambhar is here.. Worth the money.. Quality and the quantity makes me to put a review.. Finally a tasty and lovely veggie treat to all the veggie lovers from #sampaul sir
The sambhar is fantastic! You could stop changing the menu every week..and add Chana Batura, and maybe pooris to the menu. And reduce the size of the spoons :)
The Ghee dosa was crispy and tasted good, and was filling.
Good simple food . Enjoyed the special Thali . Well lit n v clean restaurant. The staff is attentive n a great place to eat when you want a break fm cooking at home .
Was here with family for a casual dinner on a weekday..!! It was not very crowded, ample space for parking and Valet service available..!! The restaurant was very bright/well-lit and looked lively..!!
Mainly came here to try all their variety of Sambhar's (liked their Onion and Aravai Sambhar the most)..!! Ordered Idly, Vada, Dosa, Aloo Paratha and Gobi Manchurian.. Idly and Vada was freshly prepared after order was placed.. Was very good..!!
The sides were the best here, 4 types of Sambhar, 3 types of Chutneys and 3 types of Podi's..!! Everything was simply amazing..!!
The dining area was too spacious and had a very high ceiling and may be because of this even though only half the tables were occupied, we felt the place was bit noisy..!! They also had a see through kitchen..!!
The North Indian & Chinese food item was not that great but nothing wrong about it as well..!!
Overall,
Food - 4.0/5
Service - 4.0/5
Ambiance - 3.5/5
Value for Money - 4.0/5
I live in kilpauk and for me it is the best casual food outlet because i have no better option for south indian. 4 varieties of sambhar are available. Good for a change always.
Went here on a weekend for lunch. The place is well lit and has decent ambience. The high roof and white tables give you the feel of a food court. They have a see-through kitchen. The service is polite and courteous, but they need to pay a little more attention to the patrons.
We ordered the unlimited meal and the food was decent, but not what I had expected. When you go into a place named Sambar, you expect it is going to be a proper tamil style hot, spicy, aromatic lip smacking food. But again, given the demographics of the location, I think they've only tried to satisfy all the palettes.
It is a kind of meal you'd have been happily satisfied getting in Bangalore. After the meal, I noticed the "h" in Samb"h"ar and realized that it was probably it. The meal feels like a north Indian's idea of a tamil meal, not that there is anything wrong with it. Just that it wasn't as great as I had expected.
Visited Sambar just now.... Nice food! Dosa could have been a bit better but the pongal and idiyappam were great! Thankyou so much for the great service Mageshwari!
We had been to sambhar on a Monday eve.. there was very little crowd.. ambience looked great.. looked like corporate cafeteria..Service was good but bit slow.. idlis and dosas are served with four variety of Sambhar thats the speciality of this restaurant..all tastes are soo great.. remember to order all four varieties..
Visiting this place for the third time, food is good. They have good variety in south indian menu. Omly draw back is there are two many mosquitoes and flies. Could capture few pics.

Great food! Awesome taste and excellent service. Thanks Ms. Maheswari & Ms. Divya for their customer service. Keep it up! A boon veggie lovers finally at Kilpauk
Went on a Saturday Morning to this restaurant, newly opened near Bains School. Ordered Ghee Roast, Karam Dosan and Ven Pongal. All the items were served with Sambhar, White Chuney (Coconut), Green Chuney(Mint) and Red Chuney. Ghee Roast was tasty and crispy, Kara Dosai was little bit spicy but tasted good (Andhra style Dosai). The Qunatity of Ven Pongal was very less. No comments on food as all the items were good. When asked the reason behind the restaurant name, they said that they serve four kinds of Sambhar and gave to taste.
1. Vengaya Sambhar,
2. Thakali Sambhar
3. Kadamba Sambhar
4. Aravai Sambhar
All the Sambhar were unique in taste.
Some items like coffee (Rs.70/-) are overpriced. When asked for bill they gave me wrong amount, when totaled it which came to a sum of Rs.250/- + tax (ie) Each Dosai costs Rs90/- and Pogal Rs.70/- where as the bill rate was 335/-.
The waiter apologized and gave me Rs.50/- in hand, it becomes important in a hotel to be careful while billing or else trust of the hotel goes down.

Very good foods and good customer service....price also good especially service girl divya response so nice....my score 100/100....but need more spl types of foods
The food her is fantastic! By far one of the best South Indian Sambar place with great service and hygiene practices.
Myself and my friends come by every week at least. never left dissatisfied.
Wonderful place, prompt service. Delicious food.keep it up😄😁❤.very nice ambience. The Biriyani was amazing, appam with Coconut milk superb. 😀
Sambhar, a new addition to kilpauk.
Located on the ormers road, just before Bombaystan, it's easy to spot they have Valet parking which is just great.
A vegetarian joint. They specialize in South Indian and their menu is filled with awesome delicacies from Chennai!!
My personal favorites are the medu vada, keerai vadai, ghee Dosai, poori with masala.
I'm yet to try the meals.
A visit and more elaborate review coming up shortly!!
The place looks very nice and subtle with a great ambience. A really good place to have South Indian food though I haven't yet tried the North Indian food. The service is excellent and fast. They serve a variety of delicious chutney with really good food. Definitely a go to place.

Pretty obvious from the name that's it a South Indian restaurant. Although they do have other items on the menu as well. Ambience wise it's pretty good. Service is quite slow. Food is fine nothing great to comment on that. The pricing however is a bit much, but then again considering the area and the size of the establishment I guess you can't expect even simple things like idly, dosa to be cheap!
The sambar here was good but not great!
There is nothing much to complain about! But I don't see anything special for it to start buzzing!
Amazing location and quality of crowd is great..
On a lighter note, its not as good as the famous Kilpauk thattu idly 😜
This place was chosen by my friend. She wanted to go here 3 weeks back , but we managed it only this week. We got meals and she went for the Parotta and the dosa's.
Pricing is not to cheap not to expensive. Ambiance is good .
Quality - the meals is awesome. Dosa's not so much.
Will visit again :)
Lovely fresh food. Super service by all staff . Will definitely recommend. Been there quite a few times and have enjoyed every single time. Big thumbs up

Been here for lunch with family and dinner with friends 😁 tried this restaurant randomly and it happened to Become one f my favourite. Customer service was way too good and felt like home. Maheshwari and especially Mr.Cyril was outstanding in customer service. They are best for their meals and dosa varieties and sambhar and chutney varieties they serve with all dishes.
I have been there for lunch with my friend and it was quite good. Though there was not much items on the cards, we choose few and the taste was excellent.
Ms. Divya who provided us an excellent service and recommended the best dishes over there.
Overall a good experience but though something lags!

I'm a hardcore non veg person, happened to go to Sambhar as we had our Motorcycle clubs meeting there yesterday, we pre-booked mini meals for 50 of us, it had 2 idly, 1 dosai, pongal, vadai, three different chutney, one piece gulob jamun n coffee.. Sambhar was good, being the hotels name they were too conscious on it I suppose..
The ambience was good, staff were courteous, stomach was filled n my taste buds satisfied..
The place has elegant feel to it. The walls are decorated with food pics and in a creative way. We ordered Manchurian dosa and mini meals. The dosa was crisp and spicy. The accomplishments was good. Overall a good place
Amazing place, good service. Went out of their way and arranged buffet dinner for a family party. Best part... they prepared a lovely North Indian menu ( going out of their way).
Good Ambiance.Tasty food, but expensive. Tandoori breads priced High. Panner butter Masala was delicious But for the prices it is a good Restaurant.
Good for south Indian food, Courteous staff. Limited menu though. Good for families.
